When i use the above code a red line appearing under bind and it says the following error.
The method bind(IPublic<customcontroller>.countrylist_InputElement) in the type IPublic(customcontroller>.Countrylist_InputNode is not applicable for the arguments (Countrylist_Input) <custom controller >.java

Did you declare input as Countrylist_input type.
use,

Can't bind to my test OD: "Unexpected error while binding"

I'm trying to test the whole OD/AD integration world, and to start with I've configured a spare G5 server to talk OD to a G5 client. The server is running 10.4.6 Server and the client is running 10.4.6 Client... so it should be simple enough, right?
My domain name is "testod.com", and both machines live in the 172.16.100.0 subnetwork. I'm running OD, DNS, DHCP and AFP on the Server. I've changed the password for the admin user, as well as added a regular user with admin privileges in WGM.
However, when I try and bind the client to the server in Directory Access, I get the following message after entering the computer name and domain username & password: "Unexpected error while binding. Unexpected error while attempting to bind. Operation cancelled".
Any ideas? I'm not using Kerberos or SSL, and practically everything is in a default configuration state. I'm stumped...

Is your DNS working right? You need both standard and reverse records working for both client & server. Simple test is using host command:
$ host testod.com
testod.com has address xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
$host xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.in-addr.arpa domain name pointer testod.com

Encountered : A system error has occurred while locking, pls help

pls help..
while executing some of our remote function module we encountered some locking error.. the message returned by SAP is :
A system error has occurred while locking
from message class : M3 #021
the remote function module is running bapi_goodsmvt_create in background..
the question is.. why this error occured and how to solve it ? and what is the root cause.. ?
because the error is only happened once (until now) we cannot simulate to get the error again.. so it is hard to find out the root cause..

I am also having the same problem. I am running the BAPI_MATPHYSINV_CHANGECOUNT' to count the Articles.
When I print the error on screen, some the data shown as counted. Some are not changed and some with the following error.
System error while locking the data
Furthermore I went to the BASIS and saw that when we run this particular program its showing the locks on MARC and several tables with the same System ID from which we run the program
Can anyone come up ? Its getting too hard to resolve.

Error while binding data into Node which is Created Dynamically.

We have a scenario , which is to create the Context and its attribute dynamically at runtime. When I create the context with structure. Using the method <b>create_nodeinfo_from_struct()</b>.here the attributes under the created node is automatically taken from the provided structure SPFLI.
cl_wd_dynamic_tool=>create_nodeinfo_from_struct(

Using the above method it is working fine and I could bind the value into the node.
But our scenario is to create context and its attributes without giving any predefined structure. We need to add attributes manually giving one by one.
For that I have used the method rootnode_info->add_new_child_node &
dyn_node->add_attribute( exporting attribute_info = ls_attribute ).
But am getting short dumb showing <b>Line types of an internal table and a work area not compatible.</b>
Please give me a solution..

Hi Nojish.
I gues the error happens when you try to read the static attributes of an element of
you dynamic node. This does not work using your defined type str, cause with
get_static_attribute you only receive the static and not the dynamic attributes.
Static attributes are attributes that are defined at design time. Thats why the
structure does not match.
But you can use the following code to get your dynamic attributes, for example
getting the lead selection element and the attribute carrid:
dyn_node = wd_context->get_child_node( name = 'DYN' ).
lr_elelement = dyn_node->get_element( ).
lr_el->get_attribute(
    EXPORTING
      name = 'CARRID'
    IMPORTING
      value = lv_carrid

An elementary search help without a hit list is meaningless because it is not possible to select a value from the set of possible values in the input help process which it describes.
System Response
The action is terminated abnormally.
Procedure
In the maintenance screen for the search help, assign at least one parameter a position in the hit list.

Error while closing F4 help window

I have used FM F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST, to add F4 help to input element of my screen, but when I try to select a value from the list or close the input help window, the control goes to dump with following error message:
