Error while calling webservice with SOAP Receiver

Hi Experts,
When we run the report on the ECC 6.0 server we call the web service which is configured as a receiver SOAP Adapter, we are getting the following error:
   XIAdapter/PARSING/ADAPTER.SOAP_EXCEPTION - soap fault: Not enough message parts were received for the operation
Can somebody throw a light on this error and how to overcome it.
Thanking You
With Best Regards

Import WSDL and Use soapui or xmlspy and try to send the request and see the response. Make sure your WSDL URL is valid one too. After testing update more informaton on this.

    Hi,
    Env: NW 2004s
      I have a requirement of calling webservice frequently. I developed a portal project with scheduler, where the application gives a runtime error while calling/reading the property file (which is generated during the webservice proxy generation, without it webservice call is impossible).
    I have varified the ear file which contains all the required class files and config files including property file.

  • Calling a webservice with SOAP Receiver

    Hi Guys,
       Im calling web service from XI using SOAP. I could call the webservice using XML Spy, It is working fine.In XML spy I could se the response (variable out , type double).
       When i call the same web service from XI It doesnt give any error in the beginning and later it would convert the same to "Acknowledment contains system errors" in Ack staus(SXMB_MONI). I configured my scenario as Asyn.However there is a response from webservice. Is it mandatory to create a sync scenario in this case? If so I couldnt configure as Im sending an Idoc as a SOAP request.But Response of Webservice is of double type( some integer it returns) So I couldnt map both as it was giving some problems in message mapping.
       I would like to know how XI sends a soap request ? I mean in SXMB_MONI some where it must be there. I wanted to copy the same from XI n paste in XML spy so that i can test whether it would go throgh.
        In plance of that webservice, We created an asp page and configured IIS. I wrote the ASP in such a way that It would read the SOAP request and dump into my default website area. I Could see the SOAP request coming up from XI.When i paste this in XML spy its working fine but not from XI Im wondering what went wrong?
       Appriciate your help.
    Thanks a lot

        As Bhavesh said,
             I can handle the response by makign async message interface , I did it but in SOAP adaptor I dont see any option of setting QOS?
            Ya WS is responding So by doing like asyn i can go ahead with that right? Now its throwing error in ask status as :

  • Error while testing webservice using SOAP

    Hi,
    While i was testing my published webservice using soap-ui it gave me following error,
    <soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">

    <faultstring>Internal SOAP Processing Failure</faultstring>
    <detail/>
    </soap:Fault>
    </soap:Body>
    </soap:Envelope>
    and in the event log i can see a event as follows and there is no warning or error
    Upon investigation i got to know the following steps might solve the problem..i.e..
    - Is the receive location for the SOAP webservice enabled? - YES
    - Can you browse to (the WSDL of) the webservice? Is displayed correctly? -YES
    - Is the webservice configured to run in the correct application pool? -YES
    -The user under which application pool is running have the read/write permission on the %temp% folder.-Dont Know how to check
    -In IIS,Check the identity of the application pool on which Web service is running and make sure that the user is the member of both “IIS_WPG” and “BizTalk Isolated host users”.
    -DONT Know how to check
    Please Help me in guiding me in the last two points
    and if there are any other solutions for this..
    Thanks,
    Sarva.

    You mentioned you checked that the webservice is configured under correct application pool. you can find the user under which the application pool is configured (open iis- > select application pools -> find out the "Identity column" to
    know the user for your application pool.
    -The user under which application pool is running have the read/write permission on the %temp% folder.-Dont Know how to check
    Go to run -> type "%temp%" -> Go one step back -> Right click to the folder -> Properties -> Security -> check the application pool user is present under "Group or user names"
    -In IIS,Check the identity of the application pool on which Web service is running and make sure that the user is the member of both “IIS_WPG” and “BizTalk Isolated host users”.
    -DONT Know how to check
    Refer How to Add Service Account to the IIS_WPG Group to add your application pool user under IIS_WPG. Also similar activity to add your service account to "BizTalk Isolated
    host users" if it is local groups. Or Ask your network support team if "BizTalk Isolated host users" is domain group.
    Please Help me in guiding me in the last two points
    and if there are any other solutions for this..
    Thanks,
    Sarva.
    Your event viewer might have more information pointing exactly what is causing "Internal SOAP processing failure".
    Also refer this
    which might be helpful for you.

    where incsr4 is server name, BS_WS_RFC is Sender Service Name and CC_IMAP_SOAP is Sender Communication Channel.
    When i am coping the URL which i got in the webservice and pasted in the Browser it is giving this message....

    Regards,

    Unfortunately there's not really enough information for anyone to help you much. I can tell you've hit an EOF Exception, but that's about it.
    What exactly do you mean by a heavyweight object parameter? Do you mean a large (in memory size) object?
    Without any knowledge of your application, I'd probably start by changing your ejb method to do nothing. That should tell you at least whether it's the serialization of the parameter that's the issue or not. Narrow it down from there.
    If you need more help, printing the entire stack trace of the EOFException and posting it here would be helpful.

    Hi,
    Did the request reach XI? If yes,
    What is the status of the Sender SOAP adapter? Any error in MONI?
    if no message is in XI, then check if the user id has the role of SAP_XI_APPL_USER.

  • Mapping error while calling WebService

    Hi,
    I tried implementing the Credit Limit check Web service example and was getting the following error
    PARSE_APPLICATION_DATA Error during XML => ABAP conversion (Response Message; error ID: CX_ST_GROUP_MISSING_CASE; (/1SAI/TXS00000000000000000006 XML Bytepos.: 346 XML Path: CreditLimitCheck_DunsResponse(1) Error Text: Element 'Status' fehlt))
    Has anybody come across this error if so were you able to resolve it, looking forward to an early solution.
    Regards,
    Aniruddha

    Karst,
    I looked at the messages in SXMB_MONI and it says that the message has been recieved successfully, it also shows that the response recieved has the status field.
    the scenario is to call a webservice get data and send that data to an R3 aplication using ABAP Proxy, could this error be a result of some conversion that is happening at the proxy interface.
    Regards,
    Aniruddha
