Have tried creating application with other security groups and filesystem storage but the error persists

Hi,
There seems to issues in the profiles which being created in UCM.
Can you check the Trigger Field which has been configured for the profiles ? If the trigger field has been configured as Type, can you change it to any of the other custom defined Information fields and then create the application.
To access the Trigger Fields navigate to the WCC web console, Administration --> Admin Applets --> Config Manager --> Profiles --> Trigger Field.

I got the problem. it is with DCOM account. I am adding a user in my LAN network, after clicking apply it taking the user in System account not in the domain account. e.g: I logged into my Sys(no: hst-pcs5424) with ABC domain, added a user ns36225 in this domain. During application setup it is looking for DCOM account in hst-pcs5424 account not in my ABC domain. So i need to add a user to the system account that should work without the LAN netwrok. But now my user account won't work with LAN.

Error while executing application using Oracle Business Process Workspace

Hi all,
I created a simple application to find the length of the message entered and then re direct it to other task depending on the size. but while i try to run the application using Oracle Business Process Workspace, a new popup window is opened and my pre-described fields are shown, i fill the fields with values and when i try to submit/claim the task, it is giving me the following error :
Error Code: 502 Proxy Error. The request was rejected by the HTTP filter. Contact your ISA Server administrator. (12217)I contacted my server administrator as well for the same, but he didn't find any server side error.
Kindly help me solve this issue asap as i have my seniors waiting for this.

1) what's your R12 RUP version ?
2) As user 'MURTHY4' do not exist in FND_USERS, please do the following:
Enable Log Debug for E-Business Suite
Connected as System Administrator, modify the following system profiles:
FND: Debug Log Enabled Yes
FND: Debug Log Filename <empty>
FND: Debug Log Level STATEMENT
FND: Debug Log Mode Asynchronous with Cross-Tier Sequencing
FND: Debug Log Module % or fnd%
There is no need to stop and restart E-Business Suite.
All log information will be created in the table FND_LOG_MESSAGES.
Make sure nobody access the system or else it will put redundant entries in fnd_log_messages.
Truncate the table first using command:
truncate table applsys.fnd_log_messages; commit;
then perform the steps as described below
As soon as you finished reproducing the problem, run the following query :
select timestamp,module,message_text from fnd_log_messages order by log_sequence asc;
then save the O/P in an excel spread sheet and upload the RESULTS for review.
Revert the debug settings

I am a newbie to SOA suite . I have installed Oracle XE Database , Oracle Jdeveloper 10.1.3.3.0.3 and Oracle SOA Suite 10g (10.1.3.1) ( file name soa_windows_x86_
101310_disk1.zip) on my windows XP machine
Now I created a "Hello World Bepel Process '" . For deploying it I was trying to create an application server connection . I am not sure that I need to install anymore things or not .
Here are the steps which happened while I was trying to make connection to application server.
1> Connection Name : Gave as "AppServerConnection1"
Connection Type as "Standalone OC4J 10g 10.1.3"
2> UserName as : oc4jadmin
Password : Gave my password
3> Hostname : localhost
RMI Port was coming as 23791 as default ( Please note that I checked opmn folder and tried to use the RMI from the xml file too)
4> While testing I was getting error as "For input string: "23791home"
Not sure if i need to install anything ( Probably Application Server ) more .
Please let me know what I need to do and if i need to install anything else where will I find the file ?

Error while creating DSN in Oracle 10.2.0.3

When I try to create a System DSN(Data Source Name) using the driver Oracle in OraDb10g_home1 in Oracle version 10.2.0.3, I am getting the below error "An unsupported operation was supported". But I am not getting this error in 10.2.0.2. I am getting this error in Windows 2000 and 2003 envoronments. Can somebody let me know what is the issue? what to do to resolve it?

I'm a beginner to webdynpro ABAP. I tried the example given in
'Web Dynpro for ABAP: Tutorial 5 u2013 Component and Application Configuration', but got stuck when tried creating an Appication Configuration.
ie. in Web dynpro application create/change configuration after giving the configuration name I clicked on create in the browser, but it resulted in a error message saying
'Error sending data, session terminated ' of termaination type TH_RES_FREE.
Please suggest me a solution to resolve this.

That sounds like lower level system problems - like like of available memory. That doesn't sound like a normal application error or even a short dump. You should have your Basis administrator look at the system logs for that time period. Does this happen every time you try this particular action? Have you checked ST22 to see if there are any other details on the error?

Hi Rahul,
Server logs may contain JDK warnings such as the following if the jdk folder is an mklink.
*[WARN ][osal ] Could not add counter (null)\ for query*
*[WARN ][osal ] Failed to init virtual size counter.*
These are just warnings and do not affect any servers.
Workaround
To suppress these warnings, add the following line in the FRAMEWORK_LOCATION\provisioning\provisioning-plan\fusionapps_start_params.properties file
-Xverbose:osal=error

Hi Hardik,
According to the log file, the service proxy generation failed, since the command execution for calling the OData SDK proxy generation was failed.
As a first step I would suggest verifying that the PHP server is properly configured with the OData SDK library (as explained in the SDK's user guide).
There is also an explanation in our documentation troubleshooting section (PHP Toolkit Troubleshooting - Proxy Generation Failed).
Then a PHP proxy can be generated for the service using our PHP plugin, as a simple check that the problem was solved.
If the problem continues, I would suggest saving the service metadata into a local xml file and try executing the proxy generation command directly (using command-line):
C:\xampp\php\php C:\OData_PHP_SDK\framework\PHPDataSvcUtil.php /metadata=<Absolute-Path-To-Metadata-XML-File> /out=<Absolute-Path-To-Desired-PHP-Output-File>
The command output printed to console may help us understanding more regarding what causes the problem.

When I try to create an account or try to synchronise with discovery registry using admin account,I am getting fatal error.To be presise, the error is like this:

Error while creating new user in Oracle 11i EBS

I am getting following error while creating new user. How solve this issue?
“Unable to load java class % specified profile option SIGNON_PASSWORD_CUSTOM. Please verify that the class exists and that it implements the java interface oracle.apps.fnd.security.PasswordValidation”.

Following is the text from Note for Custom Password Validation logic:
Customers who wish to use their own password validation logic may do
so by writing their own Java classes that implement the
oracle.apps.fnd.security.PasswordValidation Java interface. The
interface requires 3 methods to be implemented:
1) public boolean validate(String user, String password)
    - This method takes a username and password, and then returns true
or false, indicating whether the user's password is valid or invalid,
respectively.
2) public String getErrorStackMessageName()
    - This method returns the name of the message to display when the
user's password is deemed invalid (i.e., the validate() method returns
false).
3) public String getErrorStackApplicationName()
    - This method returns the application shortname for the
aforementioned error message.
After writing the Java class to perform customized password
validation, the customer must then set the value of the profile option
SIGNON_PASSWORD_CUSTOM to be the full name of the class. If, for
example, the name of the Java class is
oracle.apps.fnd.security.AppsPasswordValidation, then the value of the
SIGNON_PASSWORD_CUSTOM profile option must be
oracle.apps.fnd.security.AppsPasswordValidation. Note that AOL/J
will attempt to load this class dynamically. Hence it is necessary to
make the class accessible by AOL/J. This means that in Forms, the
class must first be loaded into the database using the loadjava
command.

I have created the required entity objects and view objects.
I have an entity JobsDEO which is based on a view per_jobs_vl which is itself based on 2 tables,per_jobs_f and per_jobs_tl,wherein _tl is the translation table.
The entity for _tl table is JobTranslationEO and has no VO associated with it.Its the JobsVO,based on JobsDEO,that has to handle any interactions with this entity too.
JOBSDEO has a property set up for HCM_DBSEQUENCE,which makes it read the value of job_id from the sequence per_jobs_s.
Now,when I try to insert into the JobsVO,based on JobsDEO,it gives me the above mentioned error.
One more thing is that the error does'nt occur when we commit a row,its just when we click the "+" button in the AM Tester that we get this error.
Please advice.
