Error while debuging form

Dear All,
I tried to debug some forms 10g that has been created in 6i,but i got the following error message while debuging...
FRM-30454: Unsupported item type.
Item: OLE_CONTROL51
Block: B2
Form: STRMAIN
FRM-30085: Unable to adjust form for output.
Please provide me with some solution...
Thanks and regards
Monoj

Hi
apparently u r using but this item type is considered is considered obsolete item no longer supported in forms 10.
You would need to use CLIENT_OLE in the webutil package to launch e.g. Word and etc.
It is documented in oracle regarding Migrating Client-Server Applications to the Web
Instead, use JavaBeans to duplicate functionality in the user interface. Any other Microsoft Windows user interface dependencies should also be replaced with JavaBeans. You can also use WebUtil to restore some of these functions.
Hope this helps...

    I haven't seen the ora-03116 problem.
What version of Portal are you running? Are the databases at the same version? Does your table have longs or anything strange in it?
Can you query the table via the synonyms and link in sqlplus as the application schema? This is a good test because it eliminates Portal.
You should try setting up synonyms etc for the emp table. If you still get the problem then Oracle may be able to replicate it. If not, then there's sth funny about your table maybe.
I agree with Vishnu about creating everything in sqlplus. I create all my links and synonyms in sqlplus. They are all public. I have 2 synonyms: one takes you over the link the other takes you to the right schema. It's flexible and it works.
data database: D grants to P (local schema) on table T
public syn T = D.T (sys) (get the right schema)
portal dbase : public db link to data database connecting as P
public syn T = T@dblink (sys) (over the link)
P is a schema created in both databases.
Test is: P in portal dbase can "select * from T" and gets the right data.
I never, ever refer to a schema when defining a form. ie. never P.T or D.T or whatever. I always refer simply to a synonym. For the above my form would be defined simply on the table T.
    Hope this helps

  • Error while generating form 16 in portal - Screen output without connection

    Dear Gurus,
We are facing error while generating form 16 through portal and getting the below error in portal.
Screen output without connection to user.    error key: RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE
When we checked for dumps in R/3 the following dump is coming:
    DYNPRO_SEND_IN_BACKGROUND with error message :
    Message class : FPRUNX
Message number: 102: No job started.
Then we tried to execute the form 16 through R/3 itself using tcode PC00_M40_F16 after putting in the relevant values in the selection screen and then press on PRINT FORM button, but surprisingly the system logs out without giving any error or dump.
We tried doing it repeatedly and once in these attempts we got an error saying Initialization of font server module failed.
We are not getting clue as to why this is happening. <<Text removed>>

    Dear,
This might be the problem of Adobe Acrobat Reader. what is the version of Adobe you are using ?? If it 9.0, then uninstall it and reinstall 8.0 and then check .
Could you please check your installed SAPGUI component? If component 'Engineering Client Viewer' is installed, please uninstall
it. And try to call same transaction again.

  • Error while debugging in NWDS

    Hi,
I am getting a "source not found" error while debugging in NWDS.
I put a break point in a particular class, but it never gets hit, instead I get an error saying "source is not found".
I have tried rebuilding, deploying and even starting the IDE but nothing works.
    Can anybody help me here.
    Regards
    Arvind

    Hi Arvind,
    1) Have you set debug on in the server?
If not you need to on debug on SAP-J2EE engine(For web applications).
    2) If that is a pure java class then it will work.

  • Internal error while running forms in oracle application server 10 G

I am getting following error while running form in browser for oracle application server 10 G
    "Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log."
where to find the error log and how to rectify it.
    Arun

and at what time does the error occur? Upon starting the form? When you browse data? When you execute a query?
Also: do you use Bean Areas in your form? How do you initialise them?
Have you compiled the form against the same version of database and PL/SQL libraries as the ones you use in the runtime environment? Have you compiled the form in Form Builder? If so, try opening the form, hit Ctrl-Shift-K twice (!), then Ctrl-S, and only then Ctrl-T.
Do you start the form from another form? If so, has this calling form been compiled against the same environment?

  • Error While Debugging the Application

    Hello,
I am developing applications using WebDynpro  for JAVA.
    I am using NWDI 7.0.
I am getting an error while debugging the application. When I click on debug mode in debug perspective, I am getting error message as :
"Failed to connect to remote VM. Connection refused"
Could any one of you help in resolving this error?
    Thanks and regards,
    Pradnya

    Hi,
I think NWDI has nothing to do with debugging the application.
Probably you will get some answers in WebDynpro java forum

    Dear Experts
My client is using SAP ECC6 EHP4 and We recently updated the HR Service Pack to SAPK-60464INSAPHRCIN in order to apply the SAP Note 1829618 - PY-IN: Union Budget Changes for Year 2013.
After upgrading Service Pack we are getting the below error while generating Form-16.
Layout set HR_INF16_2012_B in language EN does not exist
    How to resolve this issue
    Thanks

This a Blunder from SAP. And this issue we are getting in almost all the client.
For this we have to download respective Form from Golder client 000 and upload again in our working client.
Better please raise an OSS message with SAP to provide you the steps.

  • Source Not Found Error while Debugging

    Hello,
I get annoying Errors while debugging a midlet. I reinstalled all programms an created a new midlet suite + midlet but the error is still there and the Midlet doesnt start.
i got Eclipse Version: 3.2.2, Eclipse ME 1.6.6, the newest WTK 2.5 and java.vm.version=1.6.0-b105.
I configured everything like www.eclipseme.org says it would be correct.
    Running a Midlet works fine.
The bug opens an Helper.class file which says:
Class File Editor: Source not found: "The Jar of this classfile belongs to the container J2ME library [ Sun Java (TM) Wireless Toolkit 2.5 for CLDC/MediaControl]. To configure the source attachment, go directly to the corresponding configuration page (For example for JRE go to 'Installed JRE#s page in references).
Any clou how to fix this?? I need to debug my midlet :-/
    THANKS!

    Hi,
I just had the same problem and navigated to this page here in hope for a solution...
However I've solved the problem now. On Eclipse, do the following.
    1) Right-click on the added Jar-file (which is producing the problem)
    2) On the popup-menu choose "Build Path" and "Configure Build Path..."
    3) On the opening preference window, click the checkbox of the Jar
This is probably necessary because the jar has to be exported such that the simulator is able to execute it.

    Regards

    Hello Raghav,
Thank you for your reply it helped me to solve the problem in R/3. But I am still getting the same error in ESS portal? Do I have to set the ADS settings for the form to display portal, then will the same error come back in R/3?
I want to reward points for your reply but I dont know how to reward points, could you please tell me how to do that?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Latha

  • ERROR while debugging a SELECT..ENDSELECT

    Hello All,
We get an error while we go into the select..endselect loop during debugging. Because of this if we try to do some research on existing program with Select-endselect..it fails in the second pass of this loop.
This problem was not there earlier, but after we upgraded from 4.6 to 4.7 this problem is bugging us..every day. Does any one have a clue why ?
    Thanks!!
    Regards,
    Vishal

    Hi,
debugging a SELECT...ENDSELECT statements brings to a LUW commit work if no other work processes are available for debug.
    See OSS notes 675, 2104.
    From OSS note 675 **********************************
    Cause and prerequisites
    Chain of causes:
          1. There is a statement in one of the Select loops, that leads to a database Commit (or Rollback).
          2. A database Commit causes the database to lose the cursor.
          3. The system cannot automatically continue within Select loop after loss of cursor.
Following statements lead to a database Commit:
        * All statements that cause a change of screen (CALL SCREEN, CALL DIALOG, CALL TRANSACTION, SUBMIT, I/W-Message)
        * BREAK-POINT/ Debugging
. if no debug process free
. always after regeneration (in order to release generation lock).
        * WAIT Here a work process is released and a Commit is executed.
        * COMMIT WORK/ROLLBACK WORK
    From OSS note 2104 **********************************
    Solution
The "COMMITWORK" message appears in the ABAP debugger when programs
orscreensrequireregeneration,or when not enough free capacity
is available inthesystem (or else the debugger blocks a system
    process).
Normallyonly one work process is released for debugging. This
isgenerally insufficient ina developmentsystem, as processes
can be blocked for other reasonstoo(background processing,
    CPI-C connections,andso on).
The number of work processes made available for debugging can
    be configured using the profileparameter
                      rdisp/wpdbug_max_no
    Forexample:
                    rdisp/wpdbug_max_no = 10
setsthe maximum number of work processes made available for
debuggingto 10. It may be necessary to generally increase the
    numberofwork processesatthis time (parameter rdisp/wp_no_dia).
In all other known cases, an error in the application program is
    involved.
    Regards, Manuel

  • Error while Creating forms

    Hello,
Right now I am using 11g client side and 10g database.
I am constantly getting an error while creating triggers in 11g.
I have created a sequence in SQL developer using the following code:
    create sequence loc_id_sequence
    start with 14;
After creating the sequence. I am trying to write the PL/SQL code in forms builder for the trigger WHEN-CREATE-RECORD
    declare
    loc_id number;
    begin
    loc_id := loc_id_sequence.nextval;
    end;
But I have been getting the following error constantly. Can anyone please help me?
    "Error 0 at line 5, column 4
    SQL statement ignored".
Can anyone please tell me why I am getting that error

First of all those errors look more related to HBR, though if it worked before I would restart services then log into the planning app and then try again.
Have you tried a different form as well one without an ampersand &.

    Hi
How did you generate the fmx? Did you used the compile all command (ctrl+shift+k) before generating?
I have noticed that just generating the fmx (ctrl+t) is not enough to resolve this kind of problem. In my case, it seems that forms does not detect that some PLL has been modified and keeps the old binding.
