Error while deploying BIKit.sda on Portal

Hello Masters,
When I select the system for BW from VC Data tab, I get the following error:
Error -21007:Search for table returned an error. Service not found:
com.sap.portal.guimachine.BIKit.CommandHandler.
However I am using VC 6.0 with Patch level 6.0 and EP 6.0 with SP14. So I tried to deploy the following sda files on the portal server:
BIUDISystems.sda
com.sap.visualcomposer.BIKit.sda
com.sap.visualcomposer.BIKitQV.ear
But I am not been able to deploy the last .ear file, the error message I am getting is as follows:

you need to set up FQDN fully qualified domain name.
instead of http://duetserver:8006/....you need to use
http://duetserver.domain.com:8006/...
check
1. whether WAS settings in system definition in portal is with FQDN
2. check whether ABAP system FQDN is done. (its in the profile parameter icm/host_name_full (you can run abap report RSPARAM and check this.)

I need to change the text in logon screen i.e,

for this i changed the copyright and deployed the par file
but it is giving error like this
operation failed:please make sure the server is running or check the log(sap-plugin.log)
what should i do plz suggest me na.....
i searched the file sap-plugin.log in program files -> sap>IDE>eclipse-->plugin but i couldnt find the

Error while deploying models in VC

Hi Experts,
I am encountering the following error while deploying any model on Portal. The model compiles without any errors but while deployment it gives the below error:

Error While Deploying .sda File in SDM

Hi,
We have developed some GP Applications. To transport the GP Application to production system we have builded .sda file from the development portal and deployed it in SDM. But its throwing an error while deploying.
Production system details:
OS : AIX (ppc64) 5.3
EP : NW2004s SP 9
Oracle : 10.2
We tried giving R/W permission to the .sda files after copying it in production. But still it throws the same error.

But I can suggest you a way that you can once again check the availability of plugins in your NWDS.

I solved this error by myself as follows:
So, what I did was; I started the RemoteGui.bat (C:\usr\sap\J2E\JC00\SDM\program) and from the Undeployment tab, I selected mainapp01 and com.sap.engine.docs.examples.
The reason I undeployed the above applications was because when I was trying to deploy the mainapp01 application, it gave an error saying that : Cannot deploy application pcbp.com/mainapp01.. Reason: Application alias [/] for application [pcbp.com/mainapp01] already exists in the HTTP Provider Service. The application that holds this alias is [sap.com/com.sap.engine.docs.examples .
And, then I restarted the J2EE engine and from the SAP Netweaver Developer Studio, I again deployed the mainapp01 application on the local J2EE engine and it was deployed successfully.

Error - while deploying to Portal

Hi,
I get error while deploying ti portal from Visual Composer. The iView works fine in preview mode. In the log i find error like "com.sapportals.portal.pcd.pl.PlRuntimeException: unexpected SQLException
Cannot assign a zero-length byte array to host variable 18."
Please suggest.

I am getting following error while deploying EAR on server.

1: Created one portal domain successfully and was able to start the serve after thatr.

I have seen this problem also. To be clear, this occurs straight out of the box. In other words - launch eclipse, create a new workspace, create a new portal EAR project with the wizard, and then try to deploy it without touching anything. In fact, try changing the portal's facets to anything, plain EAR, 11g default, Portal EAR - it doesn't matter. It will not deploy. Either you get this error or you get deployment errors complaining about missing library references in the weblogic-application.xml. Then - you have to do surgery just to get an 'out of the box' portal to run. Very frustrating.

I am getting this error while deploying a PAR file from NWDS into an ECC.
Operation Failed: Please make sure the server is running or check the log (sap-plugin.log) for
more detail.
My server is running properly
1 - Where is sap-plugin.log file? I don´t find it.
2 - Could there be another file with another name with information about the error?
3 - Is there another way to deploy the file directly from the ECC?

Flex error while deploying a VC application

Hi Experts,
Though I have rarely worked on VC developments, I have to troubleshoot an issue wherein we are getting following error while deploying a VC Application.
Error: Error in compiling flex application. Consult log file for details.
I have got a log file and it has written out 100s of lines of log, however, following is the important part from the log file:

Hi Ameya,
If its VC 7.0 then you must be using Flash Compiler.Try changing the compiler to Flash at this path
Tools->Options->Compiler->Change 'Runtime filed to Flash'.I hope this should solve your problem.

wsdl:part for a document-literal message must use the "element" attribute.Check your WSDL once , change the input XSD file if needed and reimport.

Hi
I would suggest you to do the deployment of the EAR using NWDS rather that using deploy tool. for Doing this please follow this link for creating ,building and deplopying as ear using dev studio

Anyways if you ar still tied up using deploy tool pleas cross verify that all the dependent jars (including jars which NgoServerinterface will beusing internally has to be in the classpath . Would be great if you can post the stack trace
