Error while displaying own reward points

Hi everybody,
I'm experiencing some problems while trying to view the detail of my reward points (you know, when you click "Your Reward Points", then the rightmost link that says "Points rewarded..."). I'm getting this message:

Any idea? Thanks!

In another warehouse this function works properly. I am using OWB 10gR2 (10.2.0.1.31).
Any hints to fix this issue would be appreciated.
    Thanks in Advance, C.

If you run OWB using the supplied shell script or batch file are there other errors on the console before the exception. OWB uses a component (OLAPI does some validation over and above any other) which dumps the errors on the the standard output which often illustrates some invalid metadata in the OLAP catalog.

  • ENT-06972: Error While Displaying BIBEAN for Dimension Dataviewer

Hi, I got the following message out of the blue when trying to view data for a dimension within OWB :-
ENT-06972: Error While Displaying BIBEAN for Dimension Dataviewer
Not only can I not see the data for the new dimension I was creating, but all my other existing dimensions generate the same error. Although I can see the data in the underlying db tables none of my Disco reports work either now !.
I have stopped and started the system to no avail.
Any ideas (while I log an SR) ?
I think the OLAP catalog is somewhat screwed.
    thanks
    Paul

Before you deploy the dimensions and the cube, ensure that the deployment option is set to Deploy to Catalog Only. Using this option, you can view the loaded data in the dimensions and the cube in the Data Viewer.

  • Error while displaying file " C:Temp Filename.Ext cannot be created"

    Dear Friends
Some users face problem while display the file. They get message " C:\Temp\ Filename.Ext cannot be created ". I checked Details. I got explaination as follows.
Caution! You are not authorized to work with temporary storage
    Message no. ED204
    Diagnosis
You do not have authorization to read or write from or to the temporary storage.
The system uses the temporary storage when you display or change programs using the ABAP Editor.
The system checks to see whether there is a temporary version of the program.
If there is, a dialog box appears in which you must choose whether to use the temporary version or the database version.
The system fills the temporary storage when the editor crashes or you save a temporary version of the program.
    System Response
You probably do not have the authorization object S_DATASET.
    Procedure
Ask your system administrator to assign you the relevant authorization.*
Actually this  problem never occurs frequently. User access the files very frequently creating around 200 Mb to 400 Mb in C:\Temp Folder per day per user. I observerd as per message that User is not have Access right to C drive. Once I get access from IT for that user he is able to display file. But before giving right he is able to display file. But suddenly he is not able to display. I am not getting exact reason why this problem occurs. Some users temp folder size is upto 700 Mb with no acces right to C Drive still he is able to see the image.
In DC20 I have kept C:\Temp as path for temp folder.
I have checked the links  also
    Request you to provide me
What is exact reason of the error?
Is the solution to problem is giving access rights to the user?
Do I have to give authorization object S_DATASET to a user?
    With Regards
    Mangesh Pande

    Dear Amaresh
Thanks for your reply and solution.
So you mean to say thats this Authorization object  has to be provided to user?
But my question is how the user was able to see the file even when this Authorization Object was not assigned.
He was able to display all file. But for particular DIR he is not able to display.
    I have checked this thread
    http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/PLM/Error26172withSAPGUI710+patch13.
    User has SAP GUI 7.10
    File Version 7100.1.0.1027
    Build   0
    Patch Level  0
    Request your help
    With Warm Regards

can you check the connection pools assigned in the rpd?
and also, if a driver for the same has been created in odbc.ini file ?

    Hi ,
I am doing one task ,where I need to attach a TIFF file to the workitem .
I am getting desired output while attaching the file from presentation server but While doing from application server , I am able to attach the file to corrseponding workitem but when i tried to display it ,it gives an error <b>" Operation could not be performed"</b>

I am using a FM "SCMS_UPLOAD" for uploading file from application server .
Is there any other way to upload or read the file .
    Thanks

    Hi,
    Use the other FM's
    'SO_OBJECT_UPLOAD'
    OR
If you are trying to read the file from an SAP Application server,
    1) "OPEN DATASET" to open the file,
    2) "READ DATASET" to read the data into an internal table
    3) "CLOSE DATASET".
    OR
    *   Retrieve Data file from Application server(Upload from Unix)
    DATA: i_file like rlgrap-filename value '/usr/sap/tmp/file.txt'.
OPEN DATASET i_file FOR INPUT IN TEXT MODE.
        IF sy-subrc NE 0.
MESSAGE e999(za) WITH 'Error opening file' i_file.
        ENDIF.
        DO.
    *     Reads each line of file individually
          READ DATASET i_file INTO wa_datatab.
    *     Perform processing here

  • Error while creating own BAPI

    Hey,
trying this step-by-step guide with own names
    http://www.sapdevelopment.co.uk/java/jco/bapi_jco.pdf
    Got two errors:
    1. In SWO1 while trying to add api methods he said:
BAPI &1: The name of the function module &2 does not begin with 'BAPI'
BAPI &1: BAPI function module &2 has no return parameter
Searching in forum, I found that my structures have to begin with ZBAPI. But
why the tutorial can do this? In tutorial the structure is named ZVEND. Why they
    can do this?
    2. The second error is telling me, that I have no return parameter. Thats not true.
In my export tab of my function module, I have included a Parameter BAPIRET2 TYPE BAPIRET2.
Trying to insert a table like this:
    RETURN TYPE BAPIRETURN
He is telling me that "TABLES parameters are obsolete"
In every tutorial they are using like, but I am not able to use LIKE, only TYPE is this something they changed in the SAP version > 4.7 ???
Does every BAPI needs a return structure or table?
If anyone have some good documents about how to create an own bapi let me know.
But please no short description or 1000 links like this: how to create our own bapi?
    thanks
    chris
    thx
    chris

    Hi,
Here are the answers for your queries.  (Version 4.7)
    1.  The function module name should start with "ZBAPI" the
one we are creating our own.
All the structures we refer for parameters in function moudle
         should also start with "ZBAPI"
(eg., Import Params: VBELN LIKE ZVBAK-VBELN).
    2.  There must be a return parameter in Export List in the
function module like the one below. Its a BAPI standard
         return variable.
         Export Params:RETURN LIKE ZBAPIRETURN.
In BAPI Function modules we pass parameters as "pass
by value". That's why Tables are not used as they are
         passed by reference.
    Hope it helps you
    Murthy.
