Error while fetching the values from database

hiii all,
I have a dynpro project where i am using JDBC codes to fetch data from tables. I have used 2SQL queries...in the first query i am fetching values from 2tables and taking the result from this i run another query.As a result i expect 19591 records as the output....
1)when i put while loop for 19000, 19000records are being within 1min.....
2)when i put while loop for 20000, exception is thrown as :
ArrayIndexOutOfboundsException : size:19591,i:19591
i is variable for while loop
3)when i dont put any condition for while loop, itz taking unlimited time and output is not displayed....
please do help out...

thanks a lot for pointing out my mistake that i was taking the last resultset and performing operations on that only....
please go thru my code,i have changed them....now i am taking all the values from each of the record-sets...............but now itz taking infinite time after which the page is exprining....can u plzz suggest.............

Error while fetching variable value from sqlserver database in 11g

Hi
We created a dynamic variable to fetch data from sqlserver database in 11g.But when we test it, it is erroring out as follows: "nqserror: 27024 the execute physical statement must specify a physical sql statement to execute".
Please help to overcome this issue.

First make sure that you're able to retreive data from the repository (right click on a table and view data?)
To create a session variable follow these steps:
From the Administration Tool menu bar, choose Manage > Variables.
In the Variable Manager dialog box, from the menu bar, choose Action > New > Session > Variable.
In the Session Variable dialog box, type a variable name.
Names for all variables should be unique. The names of system session variables are reserved and cannot be used for other types of variables.
For session variables, you can select the following check boxes:
Enable any user to set the value
Check box that allows you to set the session variables after the initialization block has populated the value (at user login) by calling the ODBC store procedure NQSSetSessionValue(). For example, this allows non-Oracle BI Administrators to set this variable for sampling.
Use the Initialization Block drop-down list to select an initialization block that will be used to refresh the value on a continuing basis.
To add a Default initializer value, perform one of the following steps:
To use the Expression Builder, click the ellipsis button to the right of the Default initializer work space.
Type the value into the Default initializer text box.
Click OK.
you can do the same for a repository variable except that you will have to specif a refresh interval.
Make sure the sql your are issuing is correct by running it first using a client.

Error while fetching the data from BO XI Web Intelligence Tool

I am using .Net Web Service SDK to get the the data from Business Object Report. When I request the report I am getting an error saying "getDocumentInformation exception (WRE 99999)". I am on BO XI R2 and the underlying database to generate the report is Oracle 10G.
The report that I am trying to generate is a prompt report.
Please let me know if anybody has faced a similar problem before or if anybody knows how to fix this.

I am sorry but the resolution suggested by you did not work.
In fact I created a new form with just one connection to the web service and carefully followed all the settings as laid down in my question. There is no other connection on the form, still I get the same error.

Error while retriving the values from a vector in jsp

Vector AppDetails is set in a Attribute of request scope as.
Vector[] AppDetails = (Vector[])port.retrieveAppDetails(appID);
request.setAttribute("AppDetails",AppDetails);
But while retriving the same in the jsp by
Vector AppDetails =(Vector)request.getAttribute("AppDetails");
its giving an error as

so i am trying with this code now

You are setting the array of vector in request object, but you are trying get the object as normal vector object. that's why are you getting error. try to get the vector object as array of vector.

I am developing the web pages using PSP(Pl/sql Serverpages) . I have a requirement to show a image in the webpage. I got the following procedures from the oracle website.
I have created the following table to store the images

I have set the raw value as 3600 but still its gives the same error only. When I debug the procedure its throwing the error stack in
SYS.htp.prn procedure of the following line of code

Thanks.This is an error from SQL Server being passed back to Oracle so you can see the problem.
What it is saying is that you are trying to insert (or update) data to a database view and that view contains a column that is either a constant (literal) value or is derived (a calculation, formula or string concatenation etc.).
As such, you can't insert or update data on that column because it has nowhere to go on the database table(s) that underly the view.

Error while retreiving xml file from database

I am trying to configure Planning and getting the following error message at instance configuration step:
"Error while retreiving xml file from database"
We looked at PlanningSystemDB.properties, changes server name to its ip, reinstalled planning, made sure both auth methods are selected (sql server and windows), created new relational repository.. still the same error.

After spending 2+ hrs with Hyperion Support nothing got resolved.. Just to give more background on this problem, we originally reconfigured all Hyperion components to use different SQL server, that is when the problem started happening as soon as we got to Planning Instance Configuration. Could this be the situations when old server name is still somewhere in the system?.. Could this be Shared Services problem.

Use NVL or COALESCE:
NVL (col_a, col_b)
Returns col_a if col_a is not NULL; otherwise, it returns col_b.
Col_a and col_b must have similar (if not identical) datatypes; for example, if col_a is a DATE, then col_b can be another DATE or it can be a TIMESTAMP, but it can't be a VARCHAR2.

When I'm trying to manage spaces in SAP Business Objects Explorer 4.1 SP04, I'm getting the following error:
Failed to retrieve the data source list.
There was an error while retrieving the universes from the CMS (Central Management Server). (PS 20003)
For input string: "false"
I've already restart Explorer servers (Explorer Exploration Server, Explorer Indexing Server, Explorer Master Server and Explorer Search Server) and rebooted the server where Explorer is installed.
Nothing seems to fix this error message. I'm not able to create new spaces because I cant access the sources:
I'd appreciate some help !

Admin is on the Administrators Group, which as Full Control on the Explorer Application
I think this worked on the day the Explorer was installed (past week).
Since them never worked.
