Error while handling faults

Hi ,
1.)I have imported fault-policies.xml and fault-bindings.xml into my project
2.)RuntimeFault.wsdl also has got imported in my project .
Inspite of that while deploying i get the following error :
Error(101): unresolved message Type
WSDL messageType "{http://schemas.oracle.com/bpel/extension}RuntimeFaultMessage" of variable "FaultVarUpdate" is not defined in any of the WSDL files
Make sure the WSDL messageType "{http://schemas.oracle.com/bpel/extension}RuntimeFaultMessage" is defined in one of the WSDLs referenced by the deployment descriptor.
What has to be done for this error ?
Regards,
Sasmit

  • UCCX 8.0.2 - error while handling the request

    Hi Guys,
    My Customer have UCCX 8.0.2. He needed did change prompt and when He try to do upload the new script, appear the message: "error while handling the request". Any have idea who solve this problem?
    Thanks,
    Wilson

    I saw this before on 8.0.2, I had to delete the prompt/script/document and the upload it again (instead of overwriting it). I believe this was fixed in SU4.
    Edit: this is the bug id - CSCtq23837 (unable to overwrite scripts) - resolved in 8.0(2) SU4

  • Facing issue while handling faults using fault-policies.xml

    Hi All,
    Scenario: One Asynchronous Bpel is trying invoke the webservice. When the status of the webservice is "Down", the BPEL will throw "System fault : remoteFault"
    This fault will be handled by the fault-policies.xml.
    CustomFaultHandler.java : basically it will print data to audit-trail and send data to the JMS Queue.
    I am facing some issues , when i am trying to handle faults using fault-policies.xml.
    Issue1: Display warning message at time of deployment : Warning: Schema validation failed for fault-policies.xmlXML-24506: (Error) Identity constraint validation error: 'Key sequence not found in key reference'
    Issue2: CustomFaultHandler.java is able to print data to audit-trail but unable to send data to the Queue. and why the policy file getting executed at time of "Start of Invocation" and then it's showing "Invocation faulted" ?

    My SOA suite version is 11.1.1.7 and i was getting the same warning  while compiling the Composite in JDeveloper. To fix it update your fault-policy.xml
    Change it to
    <faultPolicies xmlns="http://schemas.oracle.com/bpel/faultpolicy" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
        <faultPolicy version="0.0.1"
                     id="BPELProcessV1_Faults"
                     xmlns:env="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
                     xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
                     xmlns="http://schemas.oracle.com/bpel/faultpolicy"
                     xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
    And it will solve the issue.

  • Unterminated String constant javascript error while handling textarea in ja

    hi,
    my code is -->
    <textarea class = "ipfield" rows="2" cols="80" name = "ruleDesc" id = "ruleDesc" onchange="setIsEdited()"><c:out value="${ruleDesc}" escapeXml="false"/></textarea>
    on click of cancel it should be reseated to previously present in ModelAnd View(MAV) object
    code is document.getElementById('ruleDesc').value = '<c:out value="${ruleDesc}" escapeXml="false"/>';
    but m getting javascript error while setting tht one
    i view tht source in IE.
    that is because of
    it looks like ->
    document.getElementById('ruleDesc').value = 'this is the data from database
    ok ?'
    if there is \n in database it will go to next line because of that *'* after document.getElementById('ruleDesc').value is not completed
    can u please help me about that problem.
    thanx in advance.

    Actually seeing as we are talking javascript at this point, the correct escape would be to escape the \n character. ie produce it as the characters \ and n.
    I would recommend using [StringUtils.escapeJavascriptString|http://commons.apache.org/lang/api-release/org/apache/commons/lang/StringEscapeUtils.html#escapeJavaScript(java.lang.String)] from the [apache commons|http://commons.apache.org/lang/]

  • Error while handling special characters ( and &) in Sender File adapter

    Dear All,
    Scenario: Third Party System --> (File adapter) SAP PI 7.1 (SP05) --> (Proxy) ECC
    We are receiving CSV file and no mapping is required in PI as all the processing is being done by third party tool. But we are receiving special characters like ',",>,< and & in the csv file.
    When we are using File Type as TEXT and File Encoding as ISO-8859-1 than we are getting error. We changed File Type to BINARY and than we are able to handle ',",> but having issue in handling < and &.
    Any idea how we can handle it.
    Please note trhere is no Mapping in SAP PI so cannot uise Java mapping.
    Thanks a lot
    Chanakya

    Hey,
    You can add ABAP Script in Receiver Proxy for eliminating or replacing with NULL or empty. Since you dont have mapping for formatting these kind of junks you can follow the above approach.
    Else, you can remove the junks at OS level while running a small script and make it available to PI.
    Or else, you need to create mapping for sender and recevier structure though it is same, then you add a very simple UDF for fine tune.
    Use this UDF
    Here a is the input value.
    String b = "";
    b = a.replaceAll(",", "0");
    b = a.replaceAll("@", "0");
    Like all the special characters you can take and replace with zero.
    return b;
    Thanx
    Pothana

  • Error while delivering a failed message ATG

    Once i select the allowMessageDelays to false i get my message in the error queue but if i select it as true then the message gets saved in the dms_limbo tables and we get the following error infinite times.I have given the maximum attempt as 3 but in log i can see every time it says the attempt as 1 .
    I want the allowMessageDelays as true and data to be saved in error queue.

    /atg/dynamo/service/Scheduler   Error while handling scheduled job MSG-LIMBO-POLL       java.lang.NullPointerException
    Please please Help..!!

    Thanks David for your reply,
    I purposely gave an error to check if any entry is made in the dms_queue_entry table when there is an error while listening from a topic.
    As per my understanding ..
    when a topic sends a data to a listener and there is some error while reading it, topic will try to redeliver the data as many times as specified(<max-attempts>3</max-attempts>). If we specify the delay(<delay>60000</delay>) then the topic will try to send the data to the listener first time and if fails will store the data in the limbo tables and then will again try to redeliver the data after the specifed time.
    Now what is happening is, it try to deliver the data first time and it fails, it store the data in the limbo tables . Now after 1 minute(60000 millisec) it will try to redeliver the data(2nd attempt) to the listener from the msgLimbo tables. but we are getting a null pointer exception as it is unable to poll data from the limbo tables and it throws a null pointer exception.
    Correct me if i am wrong..!!

    Hi guys,
    While getting the sales order from the JDE database. It is giving
    Caught exception while handling request: deserialization error: java.text.ParseException: Unparseable date: "-11-JA-01T12:00:00-05".
    can any one of you can guide me about this exception
    Expecting a reply from any one ASAP.
    Regards,
    Chakri

    the schema element for this field is having different datatype than what you are receiving the data. Can you check logs and see on which column it is failing? If we know the exact xsd datatype used for the element and and value that is stored in table then we can correct the xsd accordingly. Are you using dynamic sql query or select options to get values from DB.

  • Memory Fault Error While Installing WebLogic

    Hi,
    I am getting Memory Fault error while installing weblogic on RHEL 5.2 (Tikanga). The file I am using to install weblogic is
    server103_linux32.bin.
    When I run command uname -a, following information is displayed:
    Linux Machine1 2.6.18-92.e15 #1 DATE x86_64.
    Some of you may think that I am using 32bit version instead of using 64bit as per my machine but On oracle website, there is only one
    version available which is the one I am using.
    Kindly help.
    Cheers
    Sunny

    Kindly refrain from using a 32-bit installer on a 64-bit system. Kindly contact a Weblogic forum for more assistance.

    It seems to be a very common error. Try checking your map assignments when the source (from) is empty (null). These mappings with null values may produce the error you are facing...
    Good luck!

  • Returning Error Code in Fault Response Message

    Hi There,
    Here is the background:
    We are using Security Interceptor component of BPEL PM for handling security procedures. We have extended the default ACLManager and provided the custom access control checks. The method overridden in the custom sub-class is isAllowedYoExecuteProcess (Signature: public boolean isAllowedToExecuteProcess(BPELProcessId processID, NormalizedMessage normalizedMessage) throws ServerException). This method throws ServerException, whenever there are any errors. ServerException allows to create the error message and error code in its constructor (Signature: public ServerException(java.lang.String message, int errorCode)).
    The issue:
    We have set the error code and error message and thrown the new ServerException. However when the SoapFault is consumed by a SoapClient (or BPEL console dashboard), we see the fault String like this:
    Error while invoking inbound message handler.
    An error has occurred while attempting to invoke the inbound message handler class "class com.collaxa.cube.security.Authenticator" for the message "". The exception reported was: Could not apply security [Sample Exception to test SOAP Fault]
    The String within the square bracket is what we had in ServerException. However I do not see the error code what I also had in ServerException. Please help me, how the error code needs to be set, so that the same can be retrieved by the Soap Client. Also, is there any way, I can just get the error message what I set (not the above jumbled one)
    Thanks & regards,
    Krishna

    This is "intended" - as we are just called by the engine, and every failure there is wrapped w/o the error code. I would recommend to store the error nr with the message .. and parse that ..
    litterally it's String error = message.substring(message.indexOf("Could not apply security ["),message.lastIndexOf("]")))

  • Error while invoking PL/SQL API from DB Adapter

    Hi everybody.
    We have a plenty of processes, which invokes PL/SQL API using DB Adapters. Everything goes ok, but sometimes API invocations results with error like this:

    <code>902</code>
    </part>
    <part name="summary" >
    <summary>file:/d01/oracle/as10g/integration/orabpel/domains/dev/tmp/.bpel_Ins_person_M2S_1.0.jar/insert_person.wsdl [ insert_person_ptt::insert_person(InputParameters,OutputParameters) ]

    </part>
    </bindingFault>

    The error disappears after some "magic" actions like redeploying the process, clearing WSDL cache or restarting BPEL server.
    Any suggestions?

    Adding more to what 'Arcturus' has put across :
    1) You can check your input & output arguments to a PL/SQL function/procedure using an assign activity, in which you tend to assign a source variable to a target variable.
    Here, you can check to see, if the input & output to the DB Adapter are correct, if not, you can always recreate the adapter.
    2) You can also check the schema of the PL/SQL function, to check if it has the right inputs & outputs.
    It'd be a .xsd file in the format of <SCHEMA_NAME-OF-FUNCTION.xsd> viz. SCOTT_EMPDETAILS.xsd

  • Error while invoking bpel through java

    when i was using java to invoke iam getting an exception
    com.oracle.bpel.client.ServerException: IDeliveryService.request() invoked for one-way operation 'initiate'. This method can only be used to invoke two-way operations which return an output message. Please check the WSDL which defines this operation and use the method IDeliveryService.post() to invoke a one-way operation.
    when iam using html the bpel works fine.
    But when i use java with IDeliveryService.post() it is giving error in Bpel flow by saying
    exception on JaxRpc invoke:
    start fault message:
    Internal Server Error (Caught exception while handling request: oracle.forms.jdapi.JdapiException: '' does not have an extension)
    :end fault message.
    Please help me in this issue.

    try as follows
    Invoking a one-way operation via Java API The procedure for invoking a one-way BPEL operation via the Java API is very similar, except that you will use the IDeliveryService.post() method (which is also overloaded). These methods invoke a one-way operation on a BPEL process and thus return void since a response is not expected (at least not a synchronous response). In the code example shown here, the post method used is exactly the same as the request() shown above, except that it returns void: From JavaDoc for com.oracle.bpel.client.dispatch.IDeliveryService <br><br>
