Hi,
In my application I'm using HTTPS for secure connectivity.For that purpose I signed my midlet using a third Party certificate (GoDaddy's Certificate).But when I'm hitiing the url it is not working.
I've done this with generating my own certificate with Tomcat.It is working fine there.I followed the following topic to create Certificate for TomCat
http://143.129.203.3/s/sitter/sl2nap/javaSSLprogr.htm
but when i'm hitiing some live url then it is not working!
Please provide me proper help if possible
Thanx in advance

    Hi,
    I resolved this error by making it sure that there are no extra spaces or unwanted caracter copied while copying the certificate response from the CA. Make sure you are copying the certificate response properly. In my case, some extra space was getting copied so after re-copyinf it properly, it worked.

  • Importing third party certificate

    I'm trying to import a third party test SSL certificate (infact I have
    tried several including one from thawte, instantSSL) using ConsoleOne

    Each time I try to import the certificate, when I click on Finish,

    When I restart ConsoleOne, the certificate hasn't been imported.
    Have tried ConsoleOne on other workstations with the same result.

  • Error while executing third party wsdl.

    Hi All,
    In our project, there is a need to execute the WSDL available in this url
      http://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/checkVatService.wsdl
    While executing , its throwing an error message as shown below:
    Web service returned error. Fault Code: "(http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/)Server" Fault String: "javax.ejb.EJBException: ASJ.ejb.005044 (Failed in component: com.lexmark/home~mdm_vat_ear) Exception raised from invocation of public java.lang.String com.lexmark.VAT_Validate.VatNumberValidate(java.lang.String,java.lang.String) method on bean instance com.lexmark.VAT_Validate@19f70f97 for bean com.lexmark/home~mdm_vat_ear*annotation|com.lexmark~home~mdm_vat_ejb.jar*annotation|VAT_Validate in application com.lexmark/home~mdm_vat_ear.; nested exception is: javax.xml.ws.WebServiceException: Connection IO Exception. Check nested exception for details. (Unable to connect to ec.europa.eu:80 - Connection timed out: connect)."
    Note: After generating clients noticed that under the generated package( eu.europa.ec.taxud.vies.services.checkvat) the class (CheckVatPortType) is having  parameters different from that of WSDL. I don’t know whether this is the cause.
    Steps implemented:
    1.       Added the ec.europa.eu in the nwa--> soa --> soa middleware settings--> WS Navigator white list.
    2.       Created a ejb project and import wsdl.
    3.       Right click on the WSDL and choose options WSDLà Generate Client.
    4.       Java classes are generated.
    5.       Create a session bean and implement the code for executing the wsdl as follows:
    @WebServiceRef (name="checkVatPortType")
                     CheckVatService service;
    public String VatNumberValidate(String Country,String VATNumber)
    /**Till test 3 there is no issues.*/
                    String test="1";
                    CheckVatPortType portType=service.getPort(CheckVatPortType.class);
                    test="2";
                    Holder<String> address=new Holder<String>();
                    Holder<String> name=new Holder<String>();
                    Holder<XMLGregorianCalendar> requestDate=new Holder<XMLGregorianCalendar>();
                    Holder<Boolean> valid=new Holder<Boolean>();
                    Holder<String> country=new Holder<String>(Country);
                    Holder<String> VatNumber=new Holder<String>(VATNumber);
                    test ="3";
                    portType.checkVat( country, VatNumber, requestDate, valid, name, address);
                    test ="4";
                     return test;
    Awaiting replies.
    Best Wishes,

    I need help with a question, I'm building a Web Dynpro application, and created a model for connecting to WebService (http://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/checkVatService.wsdl) in order to validate the Vat number of European countries.
    I'm not using EJB but creating a model "Adaptive Service Model"
    When instantiating the classes created served web: CheckVat.java, CheckVatResponse.java, etc.
    But when checking the created methods, I realized that was not created the method to send the VAT number and the country.
    The problem is that I have to pass two parameters to run the query: VAT number and parents right?
    In checkVat class, mapping the Web Dynpro not created the method with the name of CheckVat, I looked at all the ".java", the most that have are the "sets" and "stay."
    Has anyone used this WSDL, as it did to send the parameters?
    Many Thanks.

  • Replace Self-Signed FAST Search Certificate with Third Party Certificate

    We are trying to replace the Self-Signed FAST Search Certificate with Third Party Certificate in our SP 2010 environment. And are facing issues while enabling the SSL communication between the FAST servers and the corporate servers.
    Our FAST search servers are in a different farm than that of the Corporate Servers.
    The details of the certificate we received is as follows:
    Issued to : FastSearchCert
    Issued By: Issuer Name
    Valid From: 4/21/2015 to 4/20/2017
    We were able to successfully renew the certificate on the FAST Search Server by following the below steps:
    1.  Login to the Administrative and the Non-Administrative nodes
    of the FAST server. Go to Windows Service and stop the FAST Search for SharePoint and the FAST Search for SharePoint Monitoring services in both the servers.
    Follow the below steps in the Administrative Node followed by the Non-Administrative Node
    2.
    Install the certificate in the following paths in the certificate store:
    “Certificates(Local Computer)\Personal”
    “Certificates(Local Computer)\Trusted Root Certification Authorities”
    3. Ensure that the user account configured for the “FAST Search Server 2010 for SharePoint” has access to the private key of the certificate.
    4. Go the Administrative node of the FAST farm and follow the below steps:
    Go to the certificate store.
    Expand the Personal folder and then click the Certificates folder. Double-click the third party signed FAST certificate.
    Open the Details tab and then click Thumbprint. Note down this thumbprint.
    5. Next, open
    Microsoft FAST Search Server 2010 for SharePoint with Administrator
    Privileges.
    6.
    Navigate to the directory, “D:\FASTSearch\installer\scripts” and execute the below command to replace the current certificate with the newly created
    third party signed FAST certificate.
    .\ReplaceDefaultCertificate.ps1 -thumbprint "certificate thumbprint".
    7. The FAST certificate was renewed successfully.
    Once the certificate has been renewed successfully in both the nodes, follow the below step:
    8. Start the FASTSearch for SharePoint and the FAST Search
    for SharePoint Monitoring services in the administrator server.
    Next, while enabling the SSL communication between the FAST servers and the other corporate servers, we follow the below steps:
    1.
    Copy the new certificate from any of the FAST servers to all the web-front end and application servers in the corporate farm, in order to enable SSL communication between these servers and the FAST farm.
    2.   Also, copy the script
    ‘SecureFASTSearchConnector.ps1’ from the location “%FASTSearchFolder%\installer\scripts” in the FAST servers
    to the web-front end and application servers of the corporate farm.
    3.  Follow the below steps on each of the servers in the corporate farm:
    Open ‘SharePoint 2010 Management Shell’ with administrator privileges and navigate to the directory in which
    SecureFASTSearchConnector.ps1’ script is located.
    And then, execute the below command:
     .\SecureFASTSearchConnector.ps1 -certThumbprint "certificate thumbprint" –ssaName “FASTCibtebtSSA” –username “DOMAIN\SP_Farm”
     Where,
    -certThumbprint
    - Thumbprint of the certificate
    -ssaName – FAST Content SSA
    -username – The account configured to run the SharePoint
    Search Service
    On execution of the above command, we receive an error message stating that the "Connection to the Content Distributor servername.corp.abc.org: 14391 could not be validated...instance of FAST search server backend is running"
    Please help us resolve this issue. We have not been able to find the cause of the above error for a long time.
    Any help is much appreciated.

    Your tip on exporting from eDir to locate a missing private key was very helpful. Here are my steps to renew an expired third party certificate when the private key, generated 30 months ago in my case, could not be located.
    In iManager, browse the tree and locate the likely certificate object. The Attributes for the object show Subject Name = webmail.acme.com. Selected the certificate and exported to webmailcert.pfx.
    Then, the openssl commands in TID 7004039, "How to convert a SSL PFX to a PEM file", were run against the .pfx file to create cert.pem, key.pem and server.key files.
    TID 7015500, "How to determine if private key belongs to public key (certificate)", was followed to determine if the public key (downloaded from third party) and private key (just retrieved from iManager) match - they did - that is, the private key converted from webmailcert.pfx matches the downloaded certificate.
    TID 7013103, "How to create a .pem File for SSL certificate Installations", was followed to manually create a server.pem file using openssl.
    TID 7010584, "How to setup SSL Certificate for Apache", part labeled "Additional Information" was followed to modify /etc/apache2/vhosts.d/vhost-ssl.conf file. Server.pem file created above copied to /etc/apache2/ssl.crt/ and /etc/ssl/servercerts/ directories as specified in vhost-ssl.conf.
    Restarted apache2.
    www.digicert.com has an SSL Certificate Checker that can be used to verify the installation is successful.

    emctl secure oms -trust_certs_loc <loc of trusted_certs.txt>

    I have a third party certificate from GEOTRUST. I have downloaded the Root CA certificate from GEOTRUST and placed them both in a file called trusted_certs.txt
    I have also imported both certificates in Oracle Wallet Manager. I can see the details within OWM and they are correct.
    I followed instructions in metalink How to provide HTTPS browser access to the Grid Control Console using a third party certificate? [ID 736103.1]
    When I view the certificate from IE after 'opmnctl startall', the cert is from grid control not GEOTRUST.
    It seems like the 'emctl secure oms ...' overwrites the wallet in $OMS_HOME/sysman/wallets/oms_hostname
    SSL is a part of Oracle's Best Practices for Grid Control but has anyone gotten it to work?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Error while importing a new CERT in oracle 10G B2B

    Hi All,
    I am trying to upload a new certificate in 10 G B2B server, its not updating a certificate, I am facing the below error while importing
    Error
    An error occurred when updating the certificate.
    Error -: AIP-16001: The model validation engine failed due to an internal system error.
    Error -: AIP-11052: Writing following objects: Certificate failed due to following constraint violation: CERTIFICATE. CAN NOT UPDATE UNVERSIONABLE OBJECT IN A VALIDATED CONFIGURATION.
    Note: Please help me in resolving this ASAP.
    Regards
    Sai

    Hi Sai,
    It seems you are updating certificate in a delivery channel which is being used in a validated (or may be deployed) agreement. Please retire/purge any deployed configuration which is using that delivery channel and also make sure no such agreement is in valid state(which is using this delivery channel).

  • Error while importing a table index.

    Hi,
    We are facing a problem while importing an index to the production region. Below are the details.
    1. A secondary index was created on standard SAP table ILOA in DEV region.
    2. The Index was successfully moved to the Quality system, without any glitches.
    3. Due to some issue (releated to testing, for which we had to revert back the changes), we had to delete the index on ILOA in the DEV region. The transports were moved to the PPD region and hence, the index on ILOA was deleted in PPD also.
    4. Once the issue related to testing was resolved, we again created an index on the table ILOA and moved it to PPD.
    All these 4 mentioned steps happened successfully and in PPD there was no error while importing the transports.
    But, while moving the above transports to the Production region, there was an error :
    "Index ILOA~Y could not be activated
    (E - No index ILOA~Y found with status M)"
    Please note that Y is the name of the index that was created on the table ILOA.
    The error code that we have got is "8".
    Can anyone please shed any light on what the issue is?? WE cannot re-import the transports in to Production without analysing this issue,because our client doesnt permit that.
    Thanks and eagerly awaiting a kind reply.
    Regards,
    Raghavendra.

    You've three transports - one to create the index, one to delete, and one to recreate.  It could be that the the third one tried to run before the database had finished with the second?
    Have you looked on SE14 for the actual status on production of the index?

  • Importing third-party java libraries

    I have just downloaded jakarta httpclient and am trying to get it to work with a program I am writing. Are there instructions somewhere on importing third-party libraries? I've searched these forums, the tutorials, and even google and haven't found any. Or can someone just tell me how to do it?
    Basically I have a folder with a list of java files. I run javac program.java to compile and then java program. The one thing I have seen in these forums is about setting the classpath, but no specifics on what to set it to. Basically I have a folder with the source called java. The only subfolder there is org, the next subfolder is apache, next is commons, then httpcliet, and then all the actual java files with a few other folders with the java files in them. It gives examples in the folder src which is the parent of java. In src there is a folder called examples. The relevent import statements are:
    import org.apache.commons.httpclient.HttpClient;
    import org.apache.commons.httpclient.MultiThreadedHttpConnectionManager;
    import org.apache.commons.httpclient.methods.GetMethod;These are all valid files under the folder system, yet it gives me the error : package org.apache.commons.httpclient does not exist for the first 2 and package org.apache.commons.httpclient.methods does not exist.
    There are also errors resulting from it not recognizing the import statements. Can someone help me please?

    I had a choice between source and binary, if I
    download the binary, should I put the jar file inthe
    folder with the rest of my *.java files?You can, but I'd advise against it because it gets
    messy and confusing.
    Or do I have
    to put the whole folder (with the API, liscense,
    readme, etc. in it) in the same folder as MY codeor
    do I just need the .jar file? You just need the jar file. Don't unpack the jar
    file; the standard java libraries know how to deal
    with a jar file just fine.
    More-or-less standard practice would be to create a
    directory hierarchy like this:
    project_name/
    project_name/lib/
    project_name/src/
    project_name/classes/
    Put the jar files in project_name/lib. Put your java
    source files (the ones that you're creating) into
    src/, and when you compile, put the compiled class
    files into classes/ (use the -d option to javac to do
    that). When you compile and run, include both the
    classes/ directory and the jar files (note: NOT the
    lib/ directory, specify the individual .jar files) in
    the classpath.So do I need the absolute path of the .jar file? If I were to put it in the same folder as my source could I just specify as
    javac -classpath whateverjar.jar MyFile.java
    or do I have to do javac -classpath C:\my folder\my other folder\etc\projectName\lib\whateverjar.jar MyFile.java?
    Thanks

  • How do i use Third Party certificates when setting up Lync 2013

    Hi,
    I'm currently installing a trial of Lync 2013 for my company and it has got to the stage of adding in certificates. My company have no wish to add in a Certificate Authority unless its vital, they have asked if its possible to use a third party certificate
    provider. I have no idea how to go about this and would appreciate any help on where to get a certificates from as well as how to import these into Lync.
    Many thanks
    John

    Yes it is possible. Thankfully Lync makes it very easy. When you deploy Lync one of the steps in the Lync Deployment Tool is to Request and Assign Certificates.
    It's a wizard that will create the CSR for you and basically include all the required names.
    You will however need UCC certificates for most things  (that support multiple Subject Alternate Names) so it may get a little expensive.
    The CA you choose is really up to you, but GoDaddy do some pretty reasonably priced UCC certificates. Digicert is also another commonly used CA
