Error while Retrieving users from DB using Field Loop

Hi,
Im working on IDM 6.0 in Sun Appserver 8.1, with waveset on SQL Server2000.
I have a rule that list all the users from a table in SQL Server2000.
Ive used this rule in a form to get list of all users. This rule works fine in BPE and the drivers are properly placed
When I view the Form I get the following error.
XPRESS exception ==> com.waveset.util.WavesetException: Can't call method queryList on class com.waveset.util.JdbcUtil ==> com.waveset.util.WavesetException: ==> java.sql.SQLException: [Microsoft][SQLServer 2000 Driver for JDBC][SQLServer]Could not find server 'com' in sysservers. Execute sp_addlinkedserver to add the server to sysservers.

I was able to solve the error but how can I display the all fields retrieved by the query. (like select name,comments from tablename)
This is my code. I just need to display comments
<FieldLoop for='cdata1'>
  <expression>
    <rule name='MSSQL DB Connect'/>       <!-- This rule lists all users.-->
  </expression>
  <Field name='accounts[$(cdata1)].name'>

  • Password Violation error while creating users from Admin interface

    Guys,
    The Sun Identity Manager system throws policy violation error while creating users from Sun Identity Manager Admin interface.
    Current System:
    1. I have configured TAM Pass-Thru authentication for End User Login Application.
    2. I have an admin user 'testsjimadmin1' who has admin capabilities. testsjimadmin1 user has default SJIM password policy.

    Problem:
    1. The Sun Identity Manager throws a password policy violation error when 'testsjimadmin1' tries to create an user with valid or invalid password from Sun Identity Manager Admin interface.
    2. If TAM Pass-thru authentication is removed for 'End User Login Application' and Sun Identity Manager default authentication is configured for 'End User Login Application' then testsjimadmin1 was able to create user successfully without any errors.

  • Error while retrieving data from PL/SQL Table using SELECT st. (Urgent!!!)

    Hi Friends,
    I am using Oracle 8.1.6 Server, & facing problems while retrieving data from a PL/SQL Table:
    CREATE or REPLACE PROCEDURE test_proc IS
    TYPE tP2 is TABLE of varchar2(10); --declared a collection
    dt2 tP2 := tP2('a','b','c');
    i NUMBER(8);
    begin
    SELECT COUNT(*) INTO i FROM TABLE(CAST(dt2 as tP2));
    DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE('**'||i);
    end;
    While executing the above procedure, I encountered foll. error:
    ERROR at line 1:
    ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [15419], [severe error during PL/SQL execution], [], [],
    ORA-06544: PL/SQL: internal error, arguments: [pfrrun.c:pfrbnd1()], [], [], [], [], [], [], []
    ORA-06553: PLS-801: internal error [0]
    Can anyone please help me, where the problem is??
    Is it Possible to retrieve data from PL/SQL TABLE using SELECT statement? & How ?
    Thanks in advance.
    Best Regards,
    Jay Raval.

    Thanks Roger for the Update.
    It means that have to first CREATE TYPE .. TABLE in database then only I can fire a Select statement on that TYPE.
    Actually I wanted to fire a Select statement on the TABLE TYPE, defined & declared in PLSQL stored procedure using DECLARE TYPE .. TABLE & not using CREATE TYPE .. TABLE.
    I was eager to know this, because my organization is reluctant in using CREATE TYPE .. TABLE defined in the database, so I was looking out for another alternative to access PL/SQL TABLE using Select statement without defining it database. It would have been good if I could access a PLSQL TABLE using Select statement Declared locally in the stored procedure.
    Can I summarize that to access a PL/SQL TABLE using SELECT statement, I have to first CREATE TYPE .. TABLE?
    If someone have any other idea on this, please do let me know.
    Thanks a lot for all help.
    Best Regards,
    Jay Raval.
    You have to define a database type...
    create type tP2 is table of varchar2(10)
    CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE TEST_PROC
    IS
    dt2 tP2 := tP2('a','b','c');
    i NUMBER(8);
    begin
    SELECT COUNT(*) INTO i FROM TABLE(CAST (dt2 AS tP2));
    DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE('**'||i);
    end;
    This will work.

  • Date parse error while importing users from OIM to OIA (SRM 5.0.3)

    Hi All,
    Env Details:
    OIA (SRM 5.0.3), Weblogic and Oracle 10g DB
    We have integrated OIM to OIA with extended attributes mapping by modifying iam-context.xml file to load users. Its done successfully. But when we map "Date" related attribute, its giving "Date Parsing error" and its not loading the users.
    We have tried loading users using flatFile mechanism, its also giving same result.
    Please suggest me. Thanks in Advance !!!
    Regards,
    Ravi G.

    Hi,
    Its a problem with OOB's OIMIAMSolution.class file, which is called while importing users from OIM. It used DateParse () conversion method only for all attributes which OIA attributes' name is ends with "Date". It defined, the conversion of date from (yyyy-MM-dd). So its expecting the input value should be in defined format(yyyy-MM-dd), if not, it gives a parse error.
    We found work around for this as follows,
    We have used other related OIA attribute which name ends other than "Date" string.
    Thanks,
    Ravi G.

  • Error while retrieving data from an ARRAY resultset

    We hava an Oracle stroed procedure which has a table type as its OUT parameter and where the data is being entered into. The Oracle Package
    ----I created a table type called "PlSqlTable":

    ----I defined this as the out parameter for my procedure :

    Then populated the object :

    ----But I have populated upto 3 values in th e procedure. Then why this error ?
    PLLLEEEASE help me out on this.
    Thanks, Sathya

    haven't worked with db arrays but I think your problem is here:int i = 1;
    while(rset.next()){
         System.out.println("VALUE : " + rset.getString(i));
         i = i+1;
    }In the first loop you are retrieving the value from column 1(rs.getString(1)), which is OK, but in the second loop, you are trying to retrieve a value from the second column(rs.getString(2)) which doesn't exist. Try this code which only reads from column1:
    while(rset.next()){
         System.out.println("VALUE : " + rset.getString(1));
    }Jamie

    On execution i am getting error in web ui. The error states that ACT_STATUS cannot be used. Is it because the status is a dropdown? Kindly help on this.

    Hi,
    Thanks bhusan and Lakshmi.
    @bhushan : i had used STATUS in my code. But one s got added by mistake while copying and editing here.
    As suggested by Lakshmi the error was that. I could fix the issue. However i am not able to get any value in lv_status.
    I have defined lv_status as string. and i am coding in do_prepare_output.
    how could i know the type of values that status has?? Do i need to use get_property_text?

  • Getting error while removinf user from AD group

    Hi,
    In AD User process definition, there is a default taks called :Remove user from Group. This task runs after another task called Organization Name Update . Whenever, an user is moved from one org to another org, his organization gets updated in AD user form and this task"Remove user from Group" runs. The work of this task is to remove the user from old groups. BUt the task is getting rejected and i see the below error in log files.

    If anybody knows the solution for this then plz let me know.
    Thanks,
    Kalpana.

    I think the mappings and all would be correct. Here is what Kevin meant:
    - Let's assume the AD user account is a part of GroupA, GroupB and GroupC
    - Now on Change Organization completion if you invoke Remove user from Group then the adapter/process task has no way to know that which 3 of those groups has to be removed (or all 3 for your case)
    - Alternatively if you use API's to remove the group then this task would be invoked by the original OIM process/triggers and so the actual value would be known to adapter/process task.

  • Java.lang.OutOfMemory error while retrieving data from a large table

    Hi,
    i am trying to fetch data using "executeQuery()" into a ResultSet from the database. But since the data in that table is large. i am recieving "java.lang.OutOfMemory" Error. So, to resolve that, i have used "setMaxRows()" for my statement object. This resolved the error but i don't recieve the entire data. If i call "executeQuery()" again, i recieve the same data. I don't even know a filtering criterion where by i can filter the data for each "executeQuery()"..
    How can i resolve this problem
    Thanx in advance
    --Chaitanya

    Either use some criteria you develop related to one of the keys on the table or use some sort of record limiting method.
    Note the method of limiting will vary related to the database you are using. You will have to look at the documentation.
    For example I am told this will work in MySQL to get 200 records starting at record 100.
    SELECT * FROM myTable ORDER BY whatever ASC LIMIT 100,200
    Because you are running out of memroy I assume the table is large,
    I am not sure what the impact of the above will have on performance because if in the above if the order by is not based on an index at the server level all the records will be selected and sorted before the records are limited.
    I would make sure you have an appropriate index.
    If you use the advanced search over the user forums using "resultset paging" and possibility the database you are using you should be able to get some ideas.
    I hope this makes sense to you.
