Error while upgrading OIM Middle Tier from 11gR2 to PS1

Hi Guyz,
I am facing issue while upgrading OIM11gr2 to 11gR2PS1. Has anyone faced similar while executing below in OIM patcihng guide.

Getting error while upgrading rpd to 11g from 10g

I have a rpd using obiee 10g.I want to open the same in obiee 11g,but getting error like need to run one file.
obieerpdmigrateutil.exe.
So i just run with -i,-u and -o option, that now i am getting this error->
The file 'DBFeatures.INI' is required for RPD migration and could not be located. Please ensure that ORACLE_INSTANCE is pointing to a valid instance directory.

Firstly you need to upgrade from 10g to 11g,you need to run a .bat file from the path and follow some steps like collecting the artifact files like NQSconfig.ini,instanceconfig.xml,DBfeatures.ini with RPD and catalog to upgrade to 11g.

Error while upgrading the patch from RMS 13.1.1.1 to RMS 13.1.1.2

Hi,
While upgrading the rms dbschema from 13.1.1.1 to RMS 13.1.1.2 we are getting the following error update ALC_FREIGHT_COST table or view doesnt exist.
We have checked the data model of rms 13.1.1 and rms 13.1.2 and we couldnt find the table "ALC_FREIGHT_COST."
So anybody could give suggestions on this.

I'd ignore the error for the moment and file an SR with OracleSupport to make them aware of the issue and release a better script - all of this assuming that your 13.1.1 starting point is valid and correctly installed.
Additionally you can locate the SQL upgrade script that is actually trying to do something on the mentioned table, and grasp what it is trying to achieve and how relevant that is for you.
The table exists in our 13.0.3 setup. The release notes of 13.1.0 mention a rework of cost component functionality, so seems like it was deprecated in that release.

ORA-01092 error while upgrading database from 9.2.0.6 to 10.2.0.1

Am getting ORA-01092 error while upgrading database to 10.2.0.1 from 9.2.0.6
I executed the catupgrd.sql successfully and recompiled invaild objects.
After that i tried to startup the database,but am getting the error:
sql>startup
oracle instance started
database mounted
ORA-01092 : Oracle instance terminated. Disconnection forced
I checked alert log file.
I am getting the following errors

OIm11g Upgrade OIM Middile Tier ua utility hanged

Hi All,
We have upgraded oim 9.1.0.2 to oim 11g 11.1.1.5 in our Dev environment, But when we try this in our QA environment, its hanged when run ua to Upgrade OIM Middile tier. There is no error messages in logs (@ TRACE level). We followed the following link for upgradation

We are getting this issue at task 12 (13.14 Task 12: Use Upgrade Assistant to Upgrade Oracle Identity Manager Middle Tier).
OIm is in progress state for this upgradation state at OIM91UPG.USER level. we got this information by running the query :select feature_id, feature_upgrade_state, is_feature_upgraded from upgrade_feature_state;

Its solved, Actually it took 8 hours to complete then task. The same task took 10-20 mins in DEV. We are expecting the reason might be the DB and App server locations are different (there it took 8 hours), locations are same where it took 20 mins.

Thanks for your help.
The directory was already created during patch execution.
My error was related to MDS password.
The password for mds was different from OIM password so the patch errored out.
Once the mds password was updated correctly in the profile file, the patch executed successfully.

Now if again this ORA-00942: table or view does not exist is coming, possibility is that there is no issue regarding privileges as you already have given all privileges to DEV_OIM...
Anyway try again giving full permissions to it just in case for some reasons permissions might have reset...
Now the only option is to study OIM_TasksArch.sh and figure out which tables or view it wants to refer to and is not available to it..

The above line means that this sh file needs some arguments... Please study a bit more to figure out those arguments.. It will work...

Hi ,
even if you start the mode in either standalone or integrated your SDM won't start completely and shows the above error.
check for sdmrepository.sdc file under <Drive>:\usr\sap\<SAP_ID>\JC<Instance_ID>\SDM\program\config\
sdc file might got corrupted or it's size would have got reduced. even if you run sdm in standalone or integrated,
you will get the same error.
Solution is to compare with the backup file that sapinst created everytime while upgarding the engine in the same folder and
replace the latest with the current.then your problem is solved.

1 - Where is sap-plugin.log file? I don´t find it.
2 - Could there be another file with another name with information about the error?
3 - Is there another way to deploy the file directly from the ECC?

I am getting following error while running a jsp report from Jdeveloper. I am using version 10.1.2.1.0. The same report is working fine when I am running it from report builder. ( Both these tools were installed using Oracle Developer Suite 10g version 10.1.2). I did search in oracle discussion forums and google, but I could not arrive at a resolution of error. Error while creating web dynpro project from DTR

Hello,
I am getting following error while creating Web Dynpro project from DTR,
org.eclipse.jdt.core.JavaModelException: File /<track name><DC><package>/.classpath is read-only.
Still project gets created but evenif I check out view , it does not allow me to edit it.
Also I have checked in and activated some changes but active copy in DTR is not reflecting those changes.
I tried Add subtree option in DTR perspective for folders in this project. Is it result of that?
Please help me in this regard.

Hi Beena,
.classpath file should not checked in to DTR(uncheck the Read only properties). It is local file it contains class path for local system.
Generally in webdynpro project only src folder should be checked in DTR.

(1) Check whether the OIM_SP_RECONARCHIVAL table or view exists or not...
(2) If it exists, check whether the DEV_OIM user has enough privilege to view this table or not...
If not, give it all privilege by login as sys as sysdba
GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES TO DEV_OIM;
COMMIT;
