Error with ant build and JUnit task in IntelliJ

Hi,
I seem to be having a very annoying error in IntelliJ. Here are the stats:
- IntelliJ 4.5.1, Build 2239
- Using own version of ant (1.5.1)
- removed junit37.jar from my ant1.5.1/lib dir, and instead added junit version 3.8.1 of junit.jar to that dir
- Specified that same junit.jar in my project classpath (this is the only item in the classpath for my test project)
- MyTest.java is the only class in my project, and it is specified as a JUnitTest in run/debug configurations and includes the classpath and jdk of my project module
When I right-click on my test class, and go to "Run" then my simple test passes. I see the results in the run window.
Here is where the issue lies (and why this is confusing me). When I try to run the same test from my build.xml file in this project, specified with the classpath as the same from my project, and with the following junit task, I get the below error (3 times in a row for whatever reason). If any of you know of a configuration issue that I may be missing, please let me know. It is very frustrating! Thanks a lot, in advance.

  • Windows 7 64bit Build and Capture Task Sequence keeps failing. Need to Offline Patch

    Hi All,
    I have been having problems running my SCCM 2007 R3 Build and Capture Task Sequence for Windows 7 64bit since MS released the October 2014 patches. (Having problems described in KB2894518, but can't get workaround to work)
    So my next step is to try to apply the patches directly to the install.wim file using dism and "Offline Servicing". I'm hoping this will allow my TS to finish, and also adds the benifit of making my TS much faster to run every month. So I followed
    the steps in
    this post, and injected 165 updates into the install.wim file (extracted from Win7 ISO). Now, I've copied the updated WIM into my Operating System install package and updated the distribution point. But the Install Software Updates step still installs 160
    updates (same as before the Offline patch injection). The only thing that seems faster is that the download of the updates is instantaneous. So it seems like the Offline patch injection just copied the patch installer files to the WIM, but did not actually
    install them.
    I remember reading a post by Niall C. Brady or Jason Sandys about exactly how they inject patches into a WIM, but have been unable to re-locate the post. Does anybody out there have a tried and true method for offline injection of patches into install.wim
    for use with SCCM Build and Capture task sequence? thanks!

    My recommendation would be to use MDT to build your images instead:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn744290.aspx
    This will make your life much easier with the patching of the image :)
    You can use Nickolaj's great MDT Factory tool to set up an MDT Build machine from scratch:

    The optical drive has probably failed. It's a fairly common thing with these slim SuperDrives. Does it read any discs you put into it? You can try resetting the SMC and pram but I'll be surprised if it helps.
    To reset the SMC
    Shut down the computer.
    Unplug the computer's power cord.
    Wait fifteen seconds.
    Attach the computer's power cord.
    Wait five seconds, then press the power button to turn on
    Resetting PRAM and NVRAM
    Shut down the computer.
    Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
    Turn on the computer.
    Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
    Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
    Release the keys.

    Hi,
    Really **bleep** off with this issue in synchronizing , I move back to my old PC suite that worked fine .
    I expect our NOKIA provider to be back on their code and solve this issue.
    At least, one mail to me warning me of corrections with this issue and improved performances would not be considered by me as spam but as consideration to users .
    Sorry dear developpers but either your specs were uncomplete, at least performance criterias were undefined and you businees acceptance test were unproperly managed. I would not like to be the project manager in charge of ! Just before Christmas, providing such a release will make Santa Klaus quite unhappy top him .

  • Problem with Vision Builder and LabView: Error -1074395995, File not found

    I have created an inspection with Vision Builder AI 2009 SP1. In it I load some pictures from the HDD and run some checks over it. It works fine. Then I have migrated it to LabView 2010, I get a message that the migration is successfull, but when I run the VI on LabView I get a fail status. I have been checking my program and I have found and error when I try to load the picture from file: Error -1074395995 occurred at IMAQ ReadImageAndVisionInfo
    Possible reason(s): IMAQ Vision:  File not found.
    But I am not sure which file it refers to. At first I thought it was the picture I wanted to load, but I have checked the path and it is correct, so maybe it refers to another thing. What puzzles me most is that it works perfectly on Vision Builder and I have changed nothing in LabView, maybe it is a problem with the migration. Any clues?

    Here's a screenshot of what I'm talking about. Put a break point here and see what the path is and compare that with what Vision Builder AI is using (described where to find this in the previous post). You could find where this global is used to make debugging easier.
    Hope this helps,
    Brad

  • Problems deploying ear file created with ant build script

    Hi All,
    I'm using Jdeveloper 11G and Weblogic 10.3. When I build my application and run it within Jdeveloper, it works fine. However, we have a requirement to run ANT build script and create a deployable .ear file that can be manually deployed to any Weblogic Server.
    I created my ant build script and it compiles/builds fine - the .ear file looks good. However, when I attempt to deploy it, it fails with
    javax.faces.webapp.FacesServlet for servlet Faces Servlet could not be loaded because the requested class was not found in the classpath .

    I am not sure how to tell weblogic where to find the classes needed. I have a pretty huge classpath used when compiling - should I be putting the classpath in the manifest (?) - I don't think I should need to include the .jar files manually in the .ear file - since all the libraries should already be available in weblogic - or is that a misconception?
    Please help!!

    I answered my own question -
    I had to manually add the following to the WEB-INF/lib to get the error to go away:
    ${ORACLE_HOME}/modules/javax.jsf_1.1.0.0_1-2.jar and
    ${ORACLE_HOME}/oracle_common/modules/oracle.jsf_1.2.9/glassfish.jsf_1.0.0.0_1-2-15.jar and
    ${ORACLE_HOME}/oracle_common/modules/oracle.jsf_1.2.9/glassfish.jstl_1.2.0.1.jar
    that solved my problem. However, I think it'd be great if I could somehow just specify (in the weblogic-application.xml maybe?) that my application is using the above modules without having to copy the jar files into my WEB-INF/lib - any suggestions?
    Thanks

  • Build and Capture task sequence fails at 'Prepare ConfigMgr Client for Capture' step

    The scenario is as follows:
    Task Sequence is a Build and Capture of Windows 7 SP1 x64 Enterprise

    It looks like there is a similar issue over here (http://www.windows-noob.com/forums/index.php?/topic/5906-task-sequence-error-0xffffffff/) that was resolved by removing the Application Installations one by one until a problematic one was found
    and removed - however I would rather avoid this very time consuming process if possible.
    I have also testing this using 'capture media' in the full OS and that also fails at the same step with the same errors in the smsts.log
    The only workaround I have for now is to let the task sequence fail at the 'Prepare ConfigMgr Client for Capture' step, then I uninstall the SCCM client using 'ccmsetup.exe /uninstall' and use the 'capture media' method - obviously with no SCCM client installed,
    it skips the 'Prepare ConfigMgr Client for Capture' step and goes straight to the 'Prepare OS' step and then to the actual capture to the WIM step.
    Anybody else seeing this or have any suggestions?

    You dont have to test it 18 times....
    Just test with 50% of the applications first, if it fails, test with 25% and then on of the time...
    You should be able to find the application, within 4-5 tests...

  • Build and capture task sequence stops after apply windows updates

    Hi
    SCCM 2012 SP1 CU4. Deploying Windows 7 SP1.
    Pulling my hair out over this one. I successfully performed a build and capture installing some applications. When I choose to install Windows updates, the updates install, the system reboots then doesn't continue. Applications don't install, image isn't captured.
    I've tired using the default B&C TS and receive the same results. I've amended the TS to as follows, as suggested in a technet forum post: https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/a535e509-fc6a-483c-bf24-7e2aa064e5b7/deploying-100-of-available-software-updates-during-a-task-sequence?forum=configmanagerosd
    Looking at smsts.log there's errors relating to not accepting the license agreement, but I didn't think this would stop the TS.
    Can someone point out why the deployment stops?
    https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/23479177/smsts-20141113-182413.log
    Cheers

    This is very common scenario you´re having! :)
    For OSD and for Capture I always create myown Software Update Group, which lets me totally control, what updates goes to the image and which doesn´t. I then edit membership of update and tag or un-tag update to the group.
    I suggest you do the following:
    1. Create manual Computer record and add it to OSD Capture collection.
    2. Create SUG for OSD Capture and un-tag updates which are listed in KB2894518. But that might not be enough.
    3. Deploy TS to the OSD Capture collection.
    4. Create/modify virtual machine with MAC matching the computer record.
    5. Run PXE and hook Capture TS.

    There are two errors in the log
    For the first error
    Open the build.xml file and add a new value inside the javac tag as <javac........includeantruntime="false"
    For the second error
    Create a folder name lib_external inside the Basic_Struts2_Ant folder

  • Java.lang.NullPointerException with Ant build, only in 4.7

    Hi,
    I hope some one out there can help.
    I have a large project that uses Ant for release builds, that must be "Run in the same JRE as workspace"
    This has always been fine in fb4.5 and 4.6 but in 4.7 fb.exportReleaseBuild gives us a java.lang.NullPointerException.
    I can just load the project up in 4.6 and build it for now, but as you can't get 4.6 any more this isn't a long term solution.
    I can reproduce the issue in 4.7 on two boxes in either by doing the following:
    Create a new flex project called "buildTest",
    Add a build folder,
    Create a new file named build.xml (in the build folder)
    Put the following in the build file:
         <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
         <project default="default" basedir="../">
                        <!-- target: default -->
                        <target name="default">
                                       <fb.exportReleaseBuild project="BuildTest"/>
                        </target>
         </project>
    Right click on the build file,
         Run as -> Ant Build... -> JRE (tab) -> select "Run in the same JRE as the workspace" -> Click "Run"
    If you do this in 4.6 (on either of my boxes) it works fine. if you do it in 4.7 (again on either box) you get the following error:
    BUILD FAILED
    C:\Users\germanD1\Documents\Projects\test Projects\Ant Test\BuildTest\build\build.xml:6: java.lang.NullPointerException
    You can even create it and watch it fail in 4.7 then open the same proj in 4.6 and watch it work!!!
    I hope someone can help, this is driving me mad.
    Many thanks

    This has always been fine in fb4.5 and 4.6 but in 4.7 fb.exportReleaseBuild gives us a java.lang.NullPointerException.
    I can just load the project up in 4.6 and build it for now, but as you can't get 4.6 any more this isn't a long term solution.
    I can reproduce the issue in 4.7 on two boxes in either by doing the following:
    Create a new flex project called "buildTest",
    Add a build folder,
    Create a new file named build.xml (in the build folder)
    Put the following in the build file:
         <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
         <project default="default" basedir="../">
                        <!-- target: default -->
                        <target name="default">
                                       <fb.exportReleaseBuild project="BuildTest"/>
                        </target>
         </project>
    Right click on the build file,
         Run as -> Ant Build... -> JRE (tab) -> select "Run in the same JRE as the workspace" -> Click "Run"
    If you do this in 4.6 (on either of my boxes) it works fine. if you do it in 4.7 (again on either box) you get the following error:
    BUILD FAILED
    C:\Users\germanD1\Documents\Projects\test Projects\Ant Test\BuildTest\build\build.xml:6: java.lang.NullPointerException
    You can even create it and watch it fail in 4.7 then open the same proj in 4.6 and watch it work!!!
    I hope someone can help, this is driving me mad.
    Many thanks
    Dan

  • Full Export/Import Errors with Queue tables and ApEx

    I'm trying to take a full export of an existing database in order to build an identical copy in another database instance, but the import is failing each time and causing problems with queue tables and Apex tables.
    I have used both the export utility and Data Pump (both with partial and full exports) and the same problems are occurring.
    After import, queue tables in my schema are unstable. They cannot be dropped using the queue admin packages as they throw ORA-24002: QUEUE_TABLE <table> does not exist exceptions. Trying to drop the tables causes the ORA-24005: must use DBMS_AQADM.DROP_QUEUE_TABLE to drop queue tables error
    As a result, the schema cannot be dropped at all unless manual data dictionary clean up steps (as per metalink) are done.
    The Apex import fails when creating foreign keys to WWV_FLOW_FILE_OBJECTS$PART. It creates the table ok, but for some reason the characters after the $ are missing so the referencing tables try to refer to WWV_FLOW_FILE_OBJECTS$ only.
    I am exporting from Enterprise Edition 10.2.0.1 and importing into Standard edition 10.2.0.1, but we are not using any of the features not available in standard, and I doubt this would cause the issues I'm getting.
    Can anyone offer any advice on how I can resolve these problems so a full import will work reliably?

    Thanks for the lead!
    After digging around MetaLink some more, it sounds like I'm running into Bug 5875568 (MetaLink Note:5875568.8) which is in fact related to the multibyte character set. The bug is fixed in the server patch set 10.2.0.4 or release 11.1.0.6.

  • DW wipes the floor with CF Builder for CF tasks!

    Just how badly could Adobe make an IDE for CF?
    In Dreamweaver if you want to run an <cfif> statement with 'structkeyexists' then you get perfect code hinting. So try typing <cfif structkeyexists( ....  and DW will show you what parameters the structkeyexists function expects.
    Now do the same in CF Builder and it doesn't give you any code hinting whatsoever!
    Getting a little tired of Adobe's product team now.

    @Solaced, CFB does not offer that option to auto-display function arguments. Lamentable, but there it is. But as Adam noted you can get it using ctrl-space.
    But here is where CFB goes one better (really, much better) than DW. Not only does that display the list of function arguments (as you expected from DW), in a yellow box at the top of the list, but far more valuable (to most, I’d think) CFB then also shows you any available variables defined in that page. DW never did that. Yes, it’s a shame that you have to hit ctrl-space to see either, but I don’t see any way to change it. Anyone else?
    Now, one may wonder, “ok, that would be cool, but the variables I want to see are coming from an application.cfm/cfc, or a CFINCLUDE, or custom tag call, or as properties in a CFC instance, or keys in a struct returned from a CFC or UDF call, and so on. If CFB only shows what variables are defined “on the calling page”, then that’s not as useful as you want to make it sound.”
    Well, CFB can absolutely do all those, too. It just requires that CFB can interpret all that CFML just like CF itself would at runtime. No small task, when you think about it, since CFCs or include files could be found via some mapping defined in the CF Admin, etc. Still, CFB can indeed figure all that out for you, and show even those variables in an instant.
    There are some caveats: you have to have opened the CF page from within a CF project (as defined in CFB), and you have to have created a (successful) server connection to your CF instance, and have connected that project to that server. Assuming all that’s in order, CFB can do that.
    It can also show you all methods in a CFC, all CFCs defined in your application and server, all columns in a query, and lots more.
    This is where CFB shows itself to be more than just an editor, but is truly an IDE (integrated development environment), which can help make you far more productive once you learn to use its ins and outs. I would highly recommend spending some time with the CFBuilder User Guide (
    See especially the “Code Editing” chapter (http://help.adobe.com/en_US/ColdFusionBuilder/2.0/Using//WS0ef8c004658c1089-554789f8121af8 f0c8c-8000.html <http://help.adobe.com/en_US/ColdFusionBuilder/2.0/Using/WS0ef8c004658c1089-554789f8121af8f 0c8c-8000.html> ), and among its many sections, one on “Code Assist”. But there are about 3 other key chapters in that manual, so don’t stop at the Code Editing one. An hour or so spent perusing that will shock many at what’s possible.
    But sometimes some things just don’t work the same as they did in DW or HomeSite, and that trips some up. Or even if they read the manual it fails to work because some aspect is not configured right (like the project and server stuff I mentioned above). That’s covered in 2 of the other 3 chapters I pointed to.
    And if you still have trouble getting it working, there is both this forum and even some consultants (like myself) who can help (for a small fee) via remote access to get you over some hump. I don’t say that as a sales pitch, but just as a plea that you not give up too quickly on CFB. With just a little help, small roadblocks can be cleared to open up whole new paths. CFB’s powers can be amazing. It just seems few ever get to find them. (Look for the ctrl+hover feature in the docs, for how to have CFB open an include file, a CFC method, or javascript and CSS files, and lots more.)
    Hope all that’s helpful.

  • Graphic problems/errors with Mainstage 3 and MBP (15'' 2011)

    Hi,
    I bought Mainstage 3 for my MBP (15'' 2011).
    When i click con "perform" i get graphic errors.
    I have the same issue with the old Mainstage version since Mountain Lion.
    Also a fresh installation didn't help.
    I think i'm not the only one with this issue!
    I don't know how to report a bug?
    Perhaps someone can help me.
    (and  I'm probably not the only one (see feedback in Apple Store) If you also have this problem, please add a comment with your configuration (Hardware, Software))
    /forgotten ebi
    So, here an example how it looks like when i click on "perform":

    Same configuration,same problem. BUT I found a workaround.
    Mainstage has this error with the AMD video card and/or a second monitor connected.
    With a little app (http://gfx.io)  it's possible to really force the MBPro to use the Intel Graphics card.
    This will work only with the internal screen, not with a second screen connected.
    And sometimes you need to restart, to really make the Intel video card free.
    This works fine...In the meantime of a fix.

  • Having a problem with Flash Builder and Extension Builder - images not apearing on Mac system

    Have a panel created in Flash Builder 4.5 with Extension Builder 2.1. Everything is fine when installed on a PC but when installed on a Mac the images in the panel do not show.
    Mac and PC both using Adobe Photoshop CC . Both installed from same .ZXP file using Adobe Extension Manager CC.
    Any ideas?

    No I used relative path - the path is  images/image name
    example images/cRight.png
    tried downloading Extension Builder 2.1 and compiling on Mac but still have same results - images show up fine in design window , but not when running panel in Photoshop
    Created a new project: testImage
    added an image component to form
    answered yes to add asset to project
    ran project
    image did not show up in Photoshop
    went back to project
    checked item Embed under Common image properties
    ran project and image shows up
    Looks like it works if I add @Embed("assets/image name") on Mac to display images
    tried in my real project:
    Looks like it works if I add @Embed("images/image name") on Mac to display images
    When I change this on PC to @Embed("images/image name") images do not show Up
    Don't know if I need to create two versions one for Mac one for PC
    Don't know how this would affect product on Adobe Exchange
