  • 1005000 &1005029 Essbase Error - MaxL Export database

    Hi, I'm trying to export data in a MaxL command called by a Perl program (automated batch process) using the following command: export database StgAll.StgAll level0 data in columns to data_file 'H:/Export_folder_server09/StgALL_export_server.txtThe Perl program is called from the server 04 and it export a database on the server 09. The ?H:/Export_folder_server09/? directory is mapped ?network driver? on the server 04. I get the following Error message: Executing [export database StgAll.StgAll level0 data in columns to data_file 'H:/Export_folder_server09/StgALL_export_server.txt']... 1005029 - Parallel export enabled: Number of export threads [1] 1005000 - Ascii Backup: Failed to open [H:/Export_folder_server09/StgALL_export_server.txt]. 9 - Essbase error encountered: [GetProcessState] [1005000] 51 - MaxL execution failedWhat am I doing wrong?Someone can help me ?Thanks in advance, Manon

    I'm not certain if thi sis your problem, but I believe it has something to do with the way you are using / marks in your directory path.Take a look at this excerpt from the MaxL tech doc. I hope this helps you.Use of backslashesIgnored unless preceded by another backslash (the escape character). Must use single quotation marks around the token containing the two backslashes.Example: create or replace group 'R\\D';Result: Group R\D is created.Example (Windows): export database sample.basic using report_file 'Essbase\\App\\Sample\\Basic\\asym.rep' to data_file 'c:\\home\\month2.rpt'; Result: The Windows file paths are interpreted correctly as Essbase\App\Sample\Basic\asym.rep and c:\home\month2.rpt.

  • Error while exporting database

    Hi guys!!!
    i get the following error while i export the objects of a database.The error occurs during the table's exportation:
    EXP-00003: no definition of memory found for the segment (5, 5713).
    I noticed that the error occurs only in the tables that have a sdo_geometry column.
    What can cause this error?
    Thank you,
    Angelo

    HI
    Yes I have experienced this. To get around this I export my tables locally, so that I use the same version of the export utilitiy as the database.
    This is a known issue see METALINK NOTE:274076.1
    (Bug 3784697)
    "This problem during export has been introduced with the 9.2.0.5 patchset, an export from the 9.2.0.5.0 or any higher release database (e.g. 9.2.0.6.0 or 10.1.0.4.0) with a lower release export utility, e.g. 9.2.0.4.0 or 8.1.7.4.0 will now produce the EXP-3 error."

  • SSRS XML Errors when exporting to .xlsx from Dynamics NAV Database

    We use Dynamics NAV for our ERP and have many SSRS reports.  We get xml Errors when exporting to Excel .xlsx.  I've seen this happen since SQL 2008 R2 and have posted in many places trying to find an answer, but was hoping MS would solve the
    issue.  The numeric data types in the Dynamics NAV database are all decimal(38,20) and when the value is zero the Excel renderer throws the errors.
    We now have over 400 reports and we export them to Excel 2003 format. I'm starting to feel like this is my new Y2K issue when Excel 2003 is set to sunset.  I'm fearing that I'll have to do conversions on all numeric data types for all reports.
    Both of these are Microsoft products so I'm wondering is this even on their radar.
    We're running SQL Server 2012 SP2, and just rolled out CRM 2015 on SQL Server 2014.  I get the errors in SSRS 2008R2, 2012, and 2014.  Has anyone seen this before?
    Timothy Kruse

    Hi Skywalker73,
    According to your description, when you export the report to Excel, the error “Excel was able to open the file by repairing or removing the unreadable content.” throws out when opening the Excel file.
    Based on my research, it has reported the same issue when exporting to Excel. The issue could cause by numeric columns has  a precision of 16 or higher. To fix the issue, we could change data type in the table to a support lower precision, or convert
    the numbers in the stored procedure that populates the report. For more information, please refer to this article:
    SSRS 2012 Bug – “Excel found unreadable content”. Besides, please refer to this
    article to check if non-printing characters exist in the report.
    If you have any question, please feel free to ask.

    Symptom(s)
    ~~~~~~~~~~
    You are performing a database export against your 9.2 database. The database
    export abnormally ends with the following errors:
    EXP-00056: ORACLE error 31600 encountered
    ORA-31600: invalid input value EMIT_SCHEMA for parameter NAME in function
    EXP-00000: Export terminated unsuccessfully
    Change(s)
    ~~~~~~~~~~
    One of the known causes for the error above is that a patchset was recently
    applied to the database but one or more of the patchset steps were not
    performed.
    Cause
    ~~~~~~~
    View the readme notes for the patchset recently installed. You will see a step
    that should have been performed that directs you to run the script named
    catpatch.sql. Very likely this step was never performed.
    Fix
    ~~~~
    As the sysdba user run the catpatch.sql script found in the directory named
    $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin. Before you submit this script, view it's contents.
    You may see that this script places the database in restricted mode.

    hi,
    EXP-00091: Exporting questionable statistics The client character set(NLS_LANG) does not match the server character;
    select parameter,value from nls_database_parameters where parameter like '%CHARACTERSET%';
    and check the client system character set

  • Error import / export in console standalone

    hai all,
    error import / export in console standalone
    iam logged in 9i console standalone pc not connected any other pc.
    unable to import or export or load any database
    because the error shows that
    only on OMS mode is possible
    how can import or export or load?
    any help?
    thanks in advance
    rcs
    ------

    I have no idea what you are asking or in what environment you are work.
    Lets start with the need for a version number ... 9i is not a version ... it is a marketing label. Do you mean 9.0.? or 9.2.0.1 or 9.2.0.8 no one knows.
    Second I have no idea what a you intend to convey with the statement "console standalone pc."
    Third "unable" means what? That the pc crashed and burned and is a smoldering cinder or you received some error message you thought too unimportant to post? Again ... you've given us no useful information.
    Finally what do you mean by OMS? Is this OMS as in the Java application running as part of the Grid Control or something else?
    Finally what are you trying to import? How? A clear explanation is required.
    If someone reading what you post can not understand or duplicate what you did because of lack of information you will not receive any help.

    Actually i dont want that to create any tablespaces.I have a tablespace created on my db.In fact i dont have the same (/home) path on my unix server.
    I want the imp utility to ignore create tablespace command.I did give the IGNORE=Y on the imp command.
    If i give fromuser,touser i can import but that does not go along with full=y.I have to do it table by table.It has also got sequences,types,synonyms etc
    thanks in advance
