Errors in rendered attribute of main jspx files generated code using JAG

I have been using JHeadStart in JDeveloper 10.1.3 Release 3 using the JHeadStart from the update site: http://files.oraclecorp.com/content/AllPublic/SharedFolders/JHeadstart%2010.1.3%20Preview-Public/center.xml
When using JAG on a HR project with 5 levels I get an error in Locations, Regions, Countries, Departments, Employees.jspx files
It generates the following:
rendered="#{!createModes.CreateEmployees ${JHS.addELExpression(${JHS.current.group.insertAllowedExpression},"and")}}"
I fix the "and" problem
rendered="#{!createModes.CreateEmployees ${JHS.addELExpression(${JHS.current.group.insertAllowedExpression},'and')}}"
Disassembling the above for better readability:
rendered=""
!createModes.CreateEmployees ${}
JHS.addELExpression()
${JHS.current.group.insertAllowedExpression},'and'
This should be legal code!?
It complains that it encountered a "(" where another character is expected
Replacing ${JHS.addELExpression(...)} with ${1} I get an error saying Expression Language is not supported for rendered attribute!?
Where do I go from here?
Thanx in advance :-D
PS: I am giving a Java community presentation tomorrow at noon with a JHeadStart demo, so it would be really cool with a fix ASAP ;)
Perhaps using the JHeadStart from local file would fix the problem!? I will give it a try...

  • Error: "Could not find the main class: Files\NetBeans"

    I am working on a WorldWind mapping application but I think this issue is more of a straight Java question. I was attempting to add a web service reference by means of the NetBeans IDE. The reference compiled as it should have but then the application would not run. I deleted the reference, commented out all the code that used the web reference, basically restored all the code to how it was before trying to add the web service. The applicaiton still will not run with the message that it can't find the main class. I do, however, get a clean build. What should I do to fix this?
    Here is the error: "Could not find the main class: Files\NetBeans"
    thanks!

    thanks!Sounds like something (a .cmd file or .bat file, perhaps) is set up to launch NetBeans with a command line like this:
    java -classpath ... c:\Program Files\NetBeans ...
    So since the path has embedded space(s) in it, it thinks you are wanting to run a class named "Files\NetBeans", which does not exist.
    You need someone there who knows what they are doing to look into it for you.

  • How to use wscompile to generate code using a WSDL file?

    I am working with JAX-RPC of Java Web Service ver: 1.1. I am intrested in making the WSDL file first and generating Java code from the WSDL file. On the following link:
    http://java.sun.com/webservices/docs/1.1/tutorial/doc/JAXRPC6.html#wp80094
    it says that wscompile can generate code using a WSDL file..:
    <quote>
    Table 11-3 wscompile Options
    -import : read a WSDL file, generate the service's RMI interface and a template of the class that implements the interface
    </quote>
    and the wscompile software says this:
    <quote>
    C:\>wscompile
    -import : generate interfaces and value types only
    </quote>
    can anyone tell me how to generated Java code from a WSDL file. As in, make the WSDL file (e.g. using XMLSpy) and then use that WSDL generate Java code.
    Thanks

    I'm trying to generate code using wscompile under the struction in JAXRPC_Tutorial.pdf.
    I issued the following command:
    wscompile.sh -keep -gen:client -f:wsi -verbose config.xml
    But I met with the following warning and I cann't find the produced java code, who know why? Thanks in advance!
    warning: ignoring SOAP port "EmployeeDBPort": unrecognized transport
    warning: Service "EmployeeDatabase" does not contain any usable ports
    the config.xml file is:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <configuration

  • Use preview files unchecked, but uses preview files?

    Premiere Pro CS4 running on Windows XP MCE SP3 on a core two duo processor (Yes, I know it is underpowered, but it works well enough for my current projects) and a three internal HDD setup.
    When exporting to mpeg2 - DVD I make sure to check "maximum render quality" and uncheck "use preview files".
    I noticed that if the timeline is rendered before export, then a one minute video will complete export in about one minute.
    If the timeline is left unrendered before export, however, the export will take about twenty minutes.
    I thought that the export is not affected by whether or not the timeline is rendered as long as preview files are not used.
    Am I mistaken, or is something not right?

    If Use Render Files is unchecked, then the program should not be using them. With MPEG-2, there is not really that much that can be gained, as the Render files are AVI.
    Also, what are the specs. of the Clips on the Timeline?
    I would check things like the WAB (Work Area Bar), just to make sure that you are seeing apples vs apples, so to speak.
    Good luck,
    Hunt

  • [ADF-11.1.2.2] 404 error for shared libraries jspx file.

    Hi,
    I got 2 ADF application
    1. Base Application, in which I have BTF (Base-BTF.xml) with one Jspx file in it.
    2. Main Application, In which there is one BTF (Main-BTF.xml) with jsff pages, and I am calling Base-BTF of Base Application as a dialog.
    When I run the pages from Main Application that has a region to Main-BTF, I am able to see pages of main-app. But when I click on button to call Base-BTF, I get following error. But...
    1. If I create same scenario in base application, and call Base-BTF as a dialog, it works fine. (i.e. only one ADF application is involved)
    2. If I have Base-BTF2 with page fragments (jsff files) in Base Application. And If I call same from Main App BTF, it works fine and I can see base app jsff content (Note I haven't used open as dialog, as it is not applicable here).
    Note that Security is not enabled for both the applications. I am not sure, why the issue of 404 is coming for Jspx file when called from another application.
    Please let me know if I am doing anything wrong.

  • OER 11.1.1.7 - Asset Navigator doesn't open with an Error - Missing Required permissions attribute in main jar

    Hi,
    I have installed OER-11g version 11.1.1.7 and am successfuly able to open Asset Editor , ImpExp utility and also could harvest SOA and OSB components.
    Issue 1:
    However while trying to open the Navigator of the harvested components in OER console, a new window opens with two sections ( top and bottom). The top one which is a diagram view doesn't open with an error - Missing required permissions attribute in main jar: http://localhost:7101/oer-web/applets/components.aler-thinkmapclient-11.1.1.7.0.jar.
    Please find the screenshot below.
    Issue #2 : While trying to browse for the Assets from OER console. The below error is seen ( missing permissions for components.jexplorer-11.1.1.7.0.jar)
    Could someone direct me on how to solve this issue. Appreciate your help !
    Thanks and regards,
    Sridhar.

    It works for me after I did a small tweak by as mine is a demo install.
    Idea - is to make an security exception for the OER url in Java control console
    Steps to do that :
    1.Go to the control panel and uninstall the 64 bit version of Java
    Open Programs and Features and select the 64 bit version of Java and select Uninstall.
    2.Open up the Java Control Panel
    Found as an option in the standard windows control panel
    3.Check the version by clicking on the About Tab
    If this is not what you expected you can go to java.com and download the latest version.
    4.Click on the Security Tab in the Java Control Panel
    5.Click on the Edit Site List button in the lower RH corner of the control panel
    6.Add your URL to be allowed
    Enter the full path that you use to access this such as https://myequallogics.com or the IP address if that is how you access it (as in http://192.168.0.100 - Https is recommended by Oracle.) Once complete hit OK. You should now see the exception on the security page.
    7.Close out of the control panel.
    8.You can now acess your site through the browser window.
    Thanks to Java error: Missing required Permissions manifest attribute in main jar - Spiceworks for letting me know this.
    regards,
    Sridhar

  • App Signing Error, Number of Folios Does Not Match the Main Folio File

    Hi All;
      I have a 250 page standalone app that I am trying to compile for the Apple Store. I read through the forums and enabled "AppBuilderLoggingEnabled.cfg" in my user directory to capture the issue. Here is the snippet of the log that was created that, to me, shows why the app isn't being signed.
    46386 ERROR [main] codesign.Signer - Failure during signing

    46388 ERROR [main] codesign.Signer - Error: invalid package, number of folios does not match the main folio file (Folio.xml or Issue.xml) 251-250
    I've stripped out special characters from the article titles and re-built the app only to face the same error. I went ahead and created a new AppID in the Apple Developer Portal, created new provision files, and the error remains. I am now creating a new folio and importing the articles into the new folio to see if that will solve the "number of folios does not match" issue.
    Any help or insight would be amazing. Thank you all.
    -matt

    I created a new folio and imported all of the articles again. After hitting "Create App" for this new folio, at about 10 pages in a "PDF Export" error stopped the create app process. I went into InDesign to update the layout for the 10th page to see that the PDF export issue was stopping me from updating the layouts as well. Something in the InDesign file wasn't playing nice with the folio creation, so I created two new InDesign files, deleted the article, and built a new article from scratch. I was able to import the new layouts as a new article to the main folio and hit "Create App" again. This time there were no issues with the creation process. I synched up the provision files in App Builder and was able to code sign the application.
    I guess the moral of the story is to double and even triple check every article along the way to make sure there are no issues being introduced into the process that will ultimately cause headaches during the distribution phase of app creation!

    Hello,
    I'm currently having a problem generating the Java source code from a WSDL, because the WSDL2Service ant class bundled with the WLS install (in the /server/lib/webservices.jar library) does not comply with the WSDL XSD.

    I created a new project and tried to repeat the steps to import. Still getting the same error.
    This is my Message type definition if that helps

  • !!Still unresolved error #2123: BitmapData.draw(), videosampleaccess, No policy files granted access

    Hello,
    I have looked all over the forums, google etc. and not found any reliable and working solution to be able to retrieve the stream bitmapdata from RTMP  or HTTPDynamicStreaming source. Please find the details below.
    I have tried everything:
    NetStream.checkPolicyFile = true
    Security.loadPolicyFile(...);
    /applications/live/main.asc has the code below:
    application.onConnect = function( client )
        client.videoSampleAccess = "/";
        this.acceptConnection(client) ;
    The Application.xml has the tag:
    <Client>
         <access>
              <VideoSampleAccess enabled="true">/</VideoSampleAccess>
         </access>
    </Client>
    But constantly, I receive this error ( both on FMS3.5 and FMS4.0 RTMP & HttpLiveDynamicStreaming):
    securityerror:Error #2123: Security sandbox violation: BitmapData.draw: http://localhost/xxyy.swf cannot access rtmpt://localhost:1935/live. No policy files granted access.
    The problem persists wherever the player.swf is placed.
    Since I'm using OSMF the video display object had to be retrieved in the way like this:
    var mediaDisplayObjectTrait:DisplayObjectTrait;
    mediaDisplayObjectTrait = media.getTrait(MediaTraitType.DISPLAY_OBJECT) as DisplayObjectTrait;
    v = new Video(mediaDisplayObjectTrait.mediaWidth,mediaDisplayObjectTrait.mediaHeight);
    loadable.netStream.checkPolicyFile = true;
    v.attachNetStream(loadable.netStream);
    The new Video part is a must because when using ( the only working http - vod setup ) the BitmapData of the DisplayObject defaults to 320x240 even though the mediaWidth and mediaHeight properties are set fine and the video itself has much higher resolution. I must note at this point its far weird and worths another post.
    Seems like the player simply doesn't know anything about where and how to obtain any kind of policy information from the stream.
    I think this issue must be resolved once and for all, it's simply not acceptable to have this poor documentation floating around an essential feature without any professional help involved.

    You don't need crossdomain policy files, you need to do the following;
    1)      Edit the Application.xml file in the host folder, within install directory/conf/... , edit the client tag, adding the attribute override=”yes”
    <Client override=”yes”>
    In a default install of Flash Media Server, the Client class is set to prevent overriding values in the application folder. This was why the settings we were trying were not holding.
    We do not need to alter anything else of the conf Application.xml
    2)      Add the client/access nodes to the root Application.xml within the content folder  ( we have already done this as far as I am aware ).
    <Application>
      <Client>
       <Access>
        <VideoSampleAccess enabled="true">/</VideoSampleAccess>
        <AudioSampleAccess enabled="true">/</AudioSampleAccess>
       </Access>
      </Client>
    </Application>
    3)      Restart the Media Server by using the administration console. This will enable the client>access values to be overridden to true.

  • CommandButton's rendered attribute doesn't work inside dataTable

    Hi,
    I don't know if anyone could help me...
    I need to access a list of "alarms" in my jsp file (which is rendered by "alarmHandler.sortedGenericDataModel"). For each "alarm" of the list, I test the "alarm.alarmStatus" and I want to create the desired button depending on the it. I'm trying to use the "rendered" attribute to manage the fact the button will be created or not. Note that when I use the "disabled" attribute, everything works fine, but I don't want to use the disabling option, I prefer to don't show the button at all.
    I have a NullPointerException when I run this code (the stack trace of this exception is show at the buttom of this message):
    <h:dataTable value="#{alarmHandler.sortedGenericDataModel}" var="alarm"
    rows="#{alarmHandler.noOfRows}"
    first="#{alarmHandler.firstRowIndex}"
    styleClass="tablebg" rowClasses="oddRow, evenRow"
    columnClasses="left, left, left, right, left" width="100%">
         <h:column>
    <f:facet name="header">
    <h:outputText value="#{labels['alarm.label.action']}" />
    </f:facet>
              <h:commandButton value="#{labels['alarm.label.toActivate']}"
              rendered="#{alarm.alarmStatus != '3'}"
              action="#{alarmHandler.activate}" immediate="true" />
              <h:commandButton value="#{labels['alarm.label.toAcknowledge']}"
              disabled="#{alarm.alarmStatus != '1'}"
              action="#{alarmHandler.acknowledge}" immediate="true" />
              <h:commandButton value="#{labels['alarm.label.toClose']}"
                   disabled="#{alarm.alarmStatus != '2'}"
                   action="#{alarmHandler.close}" immediate="true" />
    </h:column>
    </h:dataTable>

    Thanks for your interest.
    I've modified one of our internal demos to try to reproduce your problem
    and cannot do so. Here is the operative JSP:
    <!-- ... -->
    <h:dataTable binding="#{UIDataBean.data}"
    value="#{list}"
    var="customer">
    <h:column>
         <h:commandButton id="press"
                   action="#{UIDataBean.press}"
                   rendered="#{customer.accountId != '123456'}"
                   immediate="true"
                   value="#{UIDataBean.pressLabel}"
                   type="SUBMIT"/>
    </h:column>
    </h:dataTable>
    <!-- ... -->
    Here's the customer bean
    public class CustomerBean implements Serializable {
    public CustomerBean() {
    this(null, null, null, 0.0);
    public CustomerBean(String accountId, String name,
    String symbol, double totalSales) {
    System.out.println("Created CustomerBean");
    this.accountId = accountId;
    this.name = name;
    this.symbol = symbol;
    this.totalSales = totalSales;
    private String accountId = null;
    public String getAccountId() {
    return (this.accountId);
    This seems to work fine. Can you try the latest weekly build from
    https://javaserverfaces.dev.java.net/servlets/ProjectDocumentList
    Thanks,

    I keep getting Error executing tag: Attribute 'title' not found when I go to the baseLayout.jsp page. I am figuring it is not seeing the tiles.xml file, but I have placed it in the /WEB-INF directory like every web page I have found says too. Any help or pointers would be appreciated.

  • Permissions error while rendering to xRaid

    Hello!
    I'm having a problem that I can't figure out. And it's pretty urgent because I'm delivering 225 VFX shots in 9 days.
    When I render a quicktime or a frame sequence out of After Effects (7 or 6.5) to my locally mounted xRaid volume, I will frequently and randomly get the llowing errors:
    "After Effects error: opening file "test2_00235.tga" -- you do not have permission to open this file (-54).
    (3::130)"
    when I hit "ok" it's followed by:
    "After effects error: cannot close a closed file. (3::5)"
    If I continually requeue, it will eventually get through it (after deleting the bad frames of course). What's weird about the error is that it says it's failing while trying to READ the file that it's actually WRITEing.
    I do not get this error when rendering to the drive from another machine with a different user account that has mounted the xRaid via AFS.
    I am logged in as admin.
    The xRaid is set to "ignore ownership on this volume" and all the permissions for all folders on the disk are set to "0 drwxrwxrwx"
    I do not experience any permissions-related errors with anything outside of After Effects. All other applications and the system read and write to the volume without problems.
    Here's more about my hardware setup:
    I am working on:
    Quad G5
    OS 10.4.5
    4.5GB DDR2 SDRAM
    xRaid 3.5TB with the two raid sets each Raid 5 and then software Raid O on top of that. Connected with the Apple fiber channel PCI express card. Latest Firmware and Raid Admin Tools.
    The problem occurs rendering with nearly any settings from AE 7x244 or AE6.5
    Any advice you can offer would be great.

    ben,
    we've been having the same problem here! funny, we're the company that did the main title for hollow man 1. hollywood is a small town eh?
    we use a xserve for our AE raid and recently upgraded some machines that came with 10.4 preinstalled. before the introduction of 10.4 to our farm, we had no problems. we use the built in watch folder method of rendering and render on files collected entirely on the raid. the error we get is a "write permission error" and usually happens within a 1-5 min of rendering.
    we have been chasing the problem for a good month or two now and we've talked to tech support on both sides (apple and adobe) with no result. we still have the problem and now that we have a growing number of 10.4 machines our functioning farm has gone from 21nodes to 8!!
    some "theories" have been that spotlight is causing it. but we cant make the AE raid volume a private non-spotlight item. (you can drag it in but it dosen't stay... even on the AE server)
    another theory is that the origonal machine creating a folder to render to HAS to be a 10.4 machine to create the proper permissions. this still dosen't fully work.
    also, we tried the one you tried, and ignored ownership on this volume. even though we would be losing some server automation functionality doing this, it did not help.
    id like to say that its goten to the point where its mind blowingly stupid. apple being world class systems and well known for their ease and functionality should NOT BE HAVING THIS KIND OF PROBLEM or should have helped us by now.
    if you find anything out please let us know. im tired of planning 2k renders a week in advance. good luck.
