Errors using ABAP tasks to create users

All:
I have done the inital loading from ABAP systems.
I would like to create users using workflow and provision it back to the ABAP system.
While using CreateABAPuser task I get the following error:
Error Exception initializing Triple DES
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Non hex character found: 'i' (18) at offset 0
Error putNextEntry failed storing
Exception from Add operation:com.sap.idm.ic.ToPassException: User NULL already exists
Exception from Modify operation:com.sap.idm.ic.ToPassException: User does not exist Internal error: FM SUSR_USER_READ, exception: SUSR_USER_READ Inconsistency with address
I have set in tools/options the encrypting algorithm as standard why does it still look for 3DES. The ../KEY/keys.ini file was missing, I just copied the file which was under the workflow folder to the IC installation folder. The user is created in the identity store, but why this error?
How do I move the newly created user back to the ABAP system?
Is there some good documentaion on how to use the Provisioning Framework?
Thanks
S.

  • Transaction Update Error using ABAP Proxy

    Hi Experts,
    I am facing an issue using ABAP Proxy.
    File is coming from PI to SAP system and it will update the Transaction IE02 using this inbound ABAP Proxy. If records fails then a mail is going to concerned team.
    Issue:
    When File has been sent from PI to SAP through ABAP Prxoy, it shows that record has been updated in the Transaction IE02 but when I checked manually the record, it has not updated the same. But when I test the same record through my ABAP Prox, it updates the record and when I checked it, Reocrd hs been updated.
    Can anybody help me in this case?
    Regards
    Sachin

    Hi Anup,
    Can you please explain me for the same? If I need to put External Commit then how It is working when I running it manually

  • Error using MIF doclet to create PDFs

    I have been attempting to use the dzbatcher program with framemaker and the java MIF doclet. Unfortunately, there is an error that will not allow the MIF doc to be saved as a pdf, the MIF files are created correctly.
    Executing: dzbatcher -makername framemaker C:\JavaCode\VSan2.0\vsan\doc\customer\mif\mif-to-fm.batch...
    starting maker ...
    Waiting for Frame results... done.
    Waiting for Frame results...
    Frame reports error -42:
    Cannot save file [C:\JavaCode\VSan2.0\vsan\doc\customer\fm\api.book.pdf]I have FrameMaker 5.5 and Acrobat Distiller and Exchange 3.1.
    Any help would be deeply appreciated.
    -Dustin

    I've never encountered error -42. I've been bugging Adobe
    for a list of descriptions for their numbered error message
    to no avail.
    The way to troubleshoot the batch file is to execute
    the dzbatcher command with the -v (verbose) option
    on the mif-to-fm.batch file:
    dzbatcher -v C:\java\pubs\docs\mif\mif-to-fm.batch
    This should echo every statement, so you can see where the
    problem is occurring.
    You might contact us for possible access to an early
    release of the next version, which has some fixes in this
    area. Write doccheck-feedback at java.sun.com.
    If those ideas don't work, you could also follow EJP's advice,
    or you could try sending email to dzbatcher at datazone.com.
    They wrote dzbatcher and are pretty responsive.
    We've had pretty good luck using dzbatcher with the default
    template of the MIF Doclet.
    Please let us know how you get it to succeed in case I can
    pass along the pointer to others.

  • Error using VI rt fifo create

    Why do I get "error -1" when I am using the subVI : "RT FIFO create" with wired :
    - type : array of double
    - element in array : 8
    - syze : 1
    - name : default
    - existing : false
    I cheked that if I am wiring the same value to both "size" and "element in array" I do not get an error (ex : size=8, element in array=8). But if I want to change the size of the buffer (ex: size=1, element in array=8) I do get "error -1" which is not a critical stop error.
    If someone could answe me it would be very helpful.

  • Error using an imported archive created with Eclipse

    Hi people,
    i have a strange issue, and i have no clue where to search for an answer (except here )
    In the past i used an imported archive for a java mapping in the Repository. The customers wants a change in this. I exported the imported archive, modified it in Ecplise, and imported it again. When i see the code of the imported archive, i can see my change.
    When i test my Interface Mapping, i see the result of the old settings. Somehow, the new coding is not used.
    Does this sounds familiair so someone? And/Or has anyone a good tip for me?
    Thanks in advance,
    Peter

    Try deleting and recreating ur Interface mapping.
    Also make sure u activate all objects.

  • Create user using ldapmodify

    Hi,
    I was trying to use below to create user "test1000" but could not succeed and getting error. I want to create users using DS CLI.
    ./ldapmodify -h webmail.example.com -p 389 -D "cn=Directory Manager" -w admin123
    dn: uid=test1000,ou=People,o=example.com,dc=example,dc=com
    changetype: modify
    add: uid
    objectClass: top
    objectClass: person
    objectClass: organizationalPerson
    objectClass: inetorgperson
    objectClass: inetUser
    objectClass: inetSubscriber
    uid: test1000
    givenName: test1000
    sn: t1000
    mailUserStatus: active
    mail: [email protected]
    mailHost: webmail.example.com
    userPassword: test@1000
    Please advise me where i'm doing mistake
    TIA,
    Regards,
    Praveen RK

    Adding an user through the command line works usually like this:
    $ ./ldapmodify -l localhost -p 389 -D "cn=Directory Manager" -w - <<\!
    dn: uid=ACapone,ou=People, dc=example,dc=com
    changetype: add
    givenName: Al
    sn: Capone
    telephoneNumber: 123456789
    mail: [email protected]
    facsimileTelephoneNumber: 987654321
    objectClass: top
    objectClass: person
    objectClass: organizationalPerson
    objectClass: inetorgperson
    uid: ACapone
    cn: Al Capone
    userPassword: password
    Enter bind password:
    adding new entry uid=ACapone,ou=People, dc=example,dc=com
    $
    For each attribute you want to add you also need to add the objectclass that attribute belongs to - otherwise you will get "Object class violation" errors. In your case you need to add "objectclass: inetLocalMailRecipient" for attribute 'mailHost' and "objectclass: inetMailUser" for attribute 'mailUserStatus'.

  • OIM - Error Creating users

    I created a group (useradmin) which has two users assigned and this group is added to all the organization as admin group.
    The group has two menu items to create/manager users. All permissions have been added to this group.
    An admin user logs on to create another oim user. Enter all the details and clicks on "Create".
    An error shows up on the create user screen indicating create user failed. The error is:
    DOBJ.GRP.PERMISSION_ERROR
    You do not have sufficient privileges to assign this group.
    however, the user is actually created in OIM but looks like it did not.
    Can someone please tell me what the issue is?
    The group has ALL permissions and they are Read/ Write perms on all objects. Every Org has this group added to it as administrative group. Not sure what else to try.
    OIM 9.1.0.2 BP05, WL 10.3.2

    Hi,
    As per the error, while creating the user, it is trying to make user member of some group (can you check do you have any rules created to make groupmembership) and the logged in user wont have permission on that group, by default when user is created it will be member of All Users group check for that one also

  • Can we change values process data during create user running

    hi guru,
    can be idm change the value in during create user running.
    i have case in my idm :
    in my Task Create user code have to checking user in target system, if the USERID already in target system , my code will be update the USERID+ INCREMENT 1.
    so if the USERID+ INCREMENT 1 is OK . my code will be inserted to target system.
    my problem is :
    The Task to Generate have any task can be running if my task create user is successfully. the name of the task is CreateUserDB
    why in my task CreateUserDB . the UserID Value still used USERID not USERID+ INCREMENT 1
    can i used setProcessform to update value USERID in my Task Create user in my code or .??
    thank's
    darvesth

    What i would suggest is you create a pre-populate adapter for this User ID Field. In the adapter, use your code to pass in the current user's oim User Login. Then perform whatever validation is needed to see if the user id exists. If it does, increment your value. Then return the User ID you want to use. Then your create user task will use this value in it's process.

  • What the best way to create User defined table with ADDON purpose

    Hi folks, how are you ?
    I´m beginner in development to business one, and I m studying to develop ISV addons.
    But, during my exercises and analisys, I learned that have two ways to create tables and fields in business one. One way is throght by wizard in business one using Tools Menu > Configuration Tools > User Defined Tables >
    Obs: I ´m using Business One Patch Level 9.
    Other way, is create the tables and fields using DI API
    But, my question is. When I develop one addon, or one UDO form that uses one set of user defined tables or used defined fields that where created by the first way (by wizard in B1), how I deploy this in other business one installation ? The package process will ensure the creation of this tables in another enviroment or I must implement the creation of user defined tables using DI API so that this code is called during the installation?
    If in cases of addon develop I must use DI API to create user defined tables, How can I use my classes with this responsibility in package process ?
    Thanks my friends.

    Hi Renan,
    You just need to put your logic in to the startup of your application, after you've established your connection to the UI API and DI API. All this will be triggered in the constructor of your main class.
    namespace MyNamespace
    public class MyAddon
      bool runAddon = true;
      bool initialised = false;
      const string ADDON_NAME = "My Addon";
      public static void Main()
            MyAddon addOn = new MyAddon();
            if(runAddon)
                  System.Windows.Forms.Application.Run();
            else
             Application.Exit();
      public MyAddon()
            // Connect to SBO session for UI
            if(!SetApplication()) runAddon = false;
      private bool SetApplication()
            // Code goes in here to establish UI API and DI API connections
            // See SDK samples for examples
            // You should also define and filter the UI API events your addon will trap at this stage and create any menus
            // Call your routine to check if the required UDFs/UDTs exist on this company
            initialised = CheckInitialisation();
            if (!initialised)
               //  AddOn not yet intialised on this company so prompt the user to run the intialisation process
              int iResponse = app.MessageBox("The " + ADDON_NAME + " addon will now create all required fields and tables."
                                             + System.Environment.NewLine + System.Environment.NewLine
                                             + "WARNING: It is strongly recommended that all other users are logged out of this company "
                                             + "before running this process. Are you sure you wish to continue?", 2, "Yes", "No", "");
              if (iResponse == 1) initialised = InitialiseAddOn(); // Call your routine to create the objects
            return true;
    Kind Regards,

  • Program to Create Users in Multiple Clients at Once

    Hello experts.
    We have a multi-client architecture and I have to frequently create users in many of them at once.
    Is there a fast way or does anybody have ABAP code to create users in multiple clients by while also an existing users Roles?
    We have a program to copy the users, but I still have to go into every system and assign roles.  This is very tedious, so I would appreciate any help.

    Hello Valhalla,
    Try this way:
    BAPI_USER_CREATE1 is remote enabled so you can create RFC destination for the all the system
    you want to create users.
    Load all the rfc destination in one table.
    Load all the users need to be created in one table.
    Loop at rfc_dest_tab.
        loop at users_tab.
             CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_USER_CREATE1' DESTINATION rfc_dest_tab-RFC_DESTINATION
      EXPORTING

    I'm really not sure what change caused this to happen. I can't import any user specific ldif files through DS console as well. I appreciate if somebody guides me how to correct this?
    Thanks in advance,
