Errors with JDK source file

I'm extremely new to JAVA. I just installed JDK 6 and JRE on Windows XP and typed java ~version at the command prompt and got this error: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: ~version caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: ~version at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(Unknown Source) at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method) at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at sun.misc.Launcher$AppClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClassInternal(Unknown Source)
Can anyone please help? I've seen many examples on setting the path, but not sure what is correct.

Try a more recent version of my advice. The "for older video cards version" may work when the default version doesn't.

"Error encountered in source file video"

I am trying to insert a .mov video into a PPT file using the Adobe Presenter 7.0.5, but I get a message saying "Error encountered in source file video". What is odd is that I was able to insert a video with the same format properties once, and publish the presentation successfully, but now it produces this error message, even when I try and insert this same video onto a new slide.
Any ideas?

I am trying to install livecycle trial version, but i get Error 13:11 Source file not found

Why do they even offer a free trial version of livecycle es4, when its obviously not free??????
i have tried from two different computers, windows 7 and windows 8, and before it can finish installing,
a messsage pops up saying Error 13:11 Source file not found verify file exsist. what does that even mean?

Where does Lightroom put HDR in the grid view? Is there anyway to have Lightroom stack the HDR file with the source files?

I can't decipher where (and why) the program is putting the HDR image in the grid. I stack all of my HDR source images so they are easy to track and manage. Other apps/plugins allow you to stack resulting images with their source image. That would be great if there's a way to set that in LR preferences.

Thanks, but this doesn't really answer the question about stacking the HDR file with the source files. Yes, it does put the file in the same folder, however many of my folders have 100s of images (that often look similar) and as far as I can tell, LR places them randomly in the sort order. It doesn't appear to put them at the beginning or end of the sort (usually by date), but somewhere randomly in the middle. Even if it could be made clear what method it is using to sort them, that would help locate one file among hundreds.
Ideally, however it should allow you to stack with the stacked source files. Is there anyway to do this? If not, is it a feature that could be requested?

I'm currently trying to make a package for the recent version of subversive for Eclipse Ganymede and I'm almost finished.
Some time ago the svn.connector components have been split from the official subversive distribution and have to be packed/packaged extra. And here is where my problem arises.
The svn.connector consists (among other things) of two files which are named the same:

At the moment makepkg downloads the first one, looks at its cache, and thinks that it already has the second file, too, because it has the same name. As a result, I can neither fetch both files nor use both of them in the build()-function...
Are there currently any mechanisms in makepkg to deal with multiple source files having the same name?
The only solution I see at the moment would be to only include the first file in the source array, install it in the build()-function and then manually download the second one via wget and install it after that (AKA Quick & Dirty).
But of course I would prefer a nicer solution to this problem if possible. ^^

How is it possible to create a blu-ray disc, AVCHD recordable DVD with multiple source files from Final Cut Pro 10. Is it possible to create a menu with several chapters corresponding to the sequences (source files)?

Assume you're talking about using the Create Blu-Ray batch template. It's not possible to do with multiple source filles. But if I understand your objectives, you could pretty much get what you think want – discrete movie segments on a single disk with navigation.
The way I'd approach it is by making multiple projects in FCP and then copying the finished versions into a new project, separated by gaps. (You could also use compound clips but I'm not a fan except for very short sequences, which is why I'm suggesting the copy route.) Then export and bring into Compressor.
In Compressor mark your chapters at the gaps between your individual sequences. Then choose the AVCHD option in job actions.
Bear in mind that you'll have to keep the recording time under roughly 30-35 minutes @a5 Mbts/sec

Error with JDK 1.3.1_02

Can anyone help with this somple problem. I have just downloaded JDK 2 1.3.1_02 and run a simple input program with the latest version of JDK Commander.
The following error keeps coming up in regards to Course_io:

I think that the problem is that Course_io is not been imported when import java_io*;is commanded.
I have tried executing the JDK commander with different folders from the JDK 2 1.3.1_02 but no luck there.

1. Is Course_io a class in the same directory as the other source file
2. if yes then is readInt() a static method of the class Course_io. If not then u need to create an instance of Course_io and then call readInt() on it.
3. Could u please post the structure of the other class file.

Getting Error in CMC - source file error. [No such file or directory]: [CrystalEnterprise.Smtp]

Dear All,
I am able to schedule the Crystal report successfully means mail gets auto triggered as we set in SCHEDULE option. But when we tried to use the notification option we get the status as FAILED. nd in details we get "source file error. [No such file or directory]: [CrystalEnterprise.Smtp]".
But still a mail gets triggred and each and every person will get mail. but the issue is notification will not work properly and no notification mail. And the status is despayed as FAILED with "source file error. [No such file or directory]: [CrystalEnterprise.Smtp]" this message.

I am still getting the same error:

In my console, I have created a connection pool 'oraclePool' and 3 datasource
'jdbc.GangsterDB', 'jdbc.OrganizationDB' and
'jdbc.JobDB'. I have also specified the target server and there seems to be no
error. I have checked 'Monitor All Connection
Pools' and oraclePool is running. I still do not understand the problem that I
am getting and have no clue how to solve it.

Error while decompressing source file

Why does this come up? last week I could drag items into the queue and choose the format today it gives me the error message. Help if you can I am running CS6

Steps to reproduce bug:
1. Open Adobe Media Encoder CS5
2. Add/Import an ".mpg" video file from Sony Camera DSC-W50 (used high quality format setting in camera) to Adobe Media Encoder CS5
3. Click open in the explorer window that appears to select video
Results: "Error while decompressing the source file"
Expected results: Open the file and start qeue to process

Error with NetBeans JAR file

I wrote a program using the NetBeans IDE, the program runs fine with no errors with tested in the actual environment. However when I build the project and create a JAR file I am unable to run it. Double-clicking the file brings up this error:
Java Virtual Machine Launcher
Could not find the main class. Program will now exist.
Also opening the same file using JAVA 2 Platform Standard Edition binary causes no errors.

It should run if you issue the command
java -classpath <absolutePathToJar\jarName>.jar ecosystem.GameMaster
When you run using the java -jar command or by cl8icking on the jar in Windows, the only source for classpath information is from within the jar. You need to add the Class-Path: attribute to the manifest file.

An unexpected error with a log file

I am trying to run a client server code on Java 5 and I get this wierd error with a bug report in a log...any idea what could be the cause...I have no Idea what its saying.

hi -
i just encountered a crash that looks the same to me (the segmentation fault and logs look very similar - problems around the JavaThread "RMI TCP Connection".
Did you get anywhere with this? do you have any clue by now what causes this, or do you have a workaround to avoid it?

Error with HeaderiView.jsp file

Hi there,
I took the masthead par file from the portal and I did some changes in the HeaderiView.jsp. When I try the iview in the preview I see the next error:
Portal Runtime Error
An exception occurred while processing a request for :

Error occurs during the rendering of jsp component.

I already added the com.sap.portal.navigation.mastheadapi.jar in \PORTAL-INF\lib
and com.sap.portal.navigation.masthead_core.jar \PORTAL-INF\private\lib.

Yes, I did some changes in Jsp file. I'm trying to make a copy of the Help Link. I copied all the components in the portalapp.xml (only changes, for example, <property name="ShowHelpLink" value="true">    <property name="ShowSiteLink" value="true">)
