Essbase not calculating number after 10 digits
This is on version 11.1.2.1, Essbase BSO cube.
In Essbase after data being loaded whatever the number larger than 99,999,999.99, the system starts dropping digits and rounding. In other words, it seems like Essbase wants to store a maximum of 10 digits, so we start having problems with numbers that have 11 or more digits. see below for example.
Data Loaded Data in Essbase
Account 1 83,613,9500.13 83,613,9500.1
Account 2 634,269,675.79 634,269,675.7
And obviously total is wrong, for above 2 number total should be 1,470,409,175.92 but it is showing 1,470,409,175.80 as it is not considering last 3 & 9 and its stopping at 10 digits.
Please let me know if I have to make any changes or I am missing anything.
Give this a try. Make a copy of your outline. Then, lock & load the 2 values in question. Don't run any calculations. Export the entire database to a file. Finally, open the exported file in a text editor and find your values. This should ease your mind concerning what Essbase can store.
BTW, I entered your values into sample/basic without issue.

BED is not calculating values after enter Excise Invoice number in MIGO
Hi,
We are doing a process of MB01 --> J1IEX --> MIGO.
At the time of J1IEX, we entered the Excise Invoice number and date. After that when we change the quantity, then BED is automatically change.
But at the time of MIGO, when we enter the Excise Invoice number, then BED is not calculating as calculated in J1IEX earlier.
This was working fine before apply the Patch. I think this is due to Patch because in our Development system still working fine but we have apply the Patch in Quality Server..there this problem comes..
Please guide what should be configuration changes has been done after apply the patch.
Applied Patch is: - SAPKH60015 & SAPKH60016..
Plz guide..hi
i think your doing something wrong
i think first when u did j1iex then in MIGo u have to go for ONLY REFER INVOICE option
better you go for other process
DO GR for required quantity say 5 out of 10 without excise
then do J1iex with reference to GR number

kunal

WIP is not calculated even after settlement of Production Order.
Hi Friends,
The system is not calculating WIP even after settlement of Production Order.
Please suggest possible solutions.
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Rahul JainHi Rahul ,
SAP has two distinct steps..
1. WIP steps calculates the WIP if the order is not fully delivered ..
2. Settlement steps posts the WIP calculated to the GL accounts..
Please check wether the process order under consideration statisfy to be a partially delivered order ..

Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional does not accept the correct serial number after reinstallation
Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional does not accept the correct serial number after reinstallation, what to do?
Thank you Bill. You could help me with the answer and the one in the other forum:
"Acrobat has a separate installation process and needs to be activated with your Adobe ID I think. The question on CC is really one for the folks in the CC forum (Adobe Creative Cloud), not the Acrobat forum".
I could resolve things with Adobe CC. I don´t need my old Acrobat 8, but I could finally install Acrobat XI Pro - and this time it seems to work, without permanently crashing down.
Thank you. -

Cannot upgrade serial number after download. 'This serial number is not for a qualifying product'. Trying to upgrade from ACS 5.5 Design Premium to ACS 6 Design Standard
start the installation of design premium cs5.5 just to make sure you're using the correct serial number. once your serial number is accepted you'll see a screen giving you the option to install none, some or all of the cs5.5 programs. at that point you can quit and not install anything having verified your cs5.5 serial number if you want nothing cs5.5 on your computer.
on the other hand, if your cs5.5 serial number is not accepted, you'll pinpoint the problem.
or, if your cs5.5 number is accepted, you could install a cs5.5 program and then install cs6. it should recognize you have a cs5.5 program installed and NOT prompt you for you cs5.5 serial number allowing you to continue with your cs6 installation. -

I have not been sent a serial number after subscribing to Captivate for a year. Does anyone know how I can get it? Or how to actually speak to someone in Adobe ??? Very frustrating!
ThanksYou have to just sign in with your Adobe Id during the installation process and it will validate your subscription from the activation server. Once your Id is validated then your subscription will be activated. You don't need serial number to activate subscription.
You may download the product from the link mentioned below.

Power Mac G4 not turning on after clean shutdown, works otherwise.
My Power Mac G4 does not turn back on after a clean shutdown, but turns on after being disconnected from the power. If I shut it down cleanly (Apple menu -> Shutdown), it shuts down, but then the power button does not work. After unplugging the computer and plugging it back in, the computer is able to power on successfully. I have reset the PRAM and have reseated the PSU connector.
I am using Mac OS X Tiger 10.4.11, but the same problem occurs under Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.8. I don't think the operating system really matters with this type of issue though, because the power button literally will not respond until I unplug and replug the computer.
Any suggestions?

[Regression] KDE4 does not load anymore after recent kernel update.
Hi,
I have updated my system to latest packages and now KDE4 does not load. i get a Blank Screen.
I can't reach virtual terminals(I tried ALT+F1 to F11, but no response)
Control + ALT + BACKSPACE does not work.
even magic SysRq key(Alt+SysRq+REISUB) has no effect.
So I had to hard reset my machine. somehow I managed to get logs.

Inserting a calculated column after every column in cross tab, in crystal report 2011
HI,
I want to insert a calculated column after every column i a cross tab . The cross tab shows , sales by region for a number of years , for example from 2007 to 2013. The year can be changed based on the user parameter. How can I do that ?
ThanksHi Feroz,
To calculate the Percentage Change and also to show the Percentage sign, here's what you need to do:
1) Right-click the Calculated Column Header > Calculated Member > Edit ColumnValue Formula and use this code:
cdate(1890,01,01)
If the field used as the column is a datetime field, use this:
cdatetime(1890,01,01,0,0,0)
2) Right-click one of the zero values in the Percentage Column and select Calculated Member > Edit Calculation formula and use this code:
if CurrentColumnIndex = 2 then
If GridValueAt(CurrentRowIndex, CurrentColumnIndex-2, CurrentSummaryIndex) = 0 then
0
else
(GridValueAt(CurrentRowIndex, CurrentColumnIndex-1, CurrentSummaryIndex) - GridValueAt(CurrentRowIndex, CurrentColumnIndex-2, CurrentSummaryIndex))/
GridValueAt(CurrentRowIndex, CurrentColumnIndex-2, CurrentSummaryIndex)
) * 100
else
If GridValueAt(CurrentRowIndex, CurrentColumnIndex-3, CurrentSummaryIndex) = 0 then
0
else
(GridValueAt(CurrentRowIndex, CurrentColumnIndex-1, CurrentSummaryIndex) - GridValueAt(CurrentRowIndex, CurrentColumnIndex-3, CurrentSummaryIndex))/
GridValueAt(CurrentRowIndex, CurrentColumnIndex-3, CurrentSummaryIndex)
) * 100
3) Right-click one of the Values in the summary cells > Format Field > Number tab > Customize > Currency Symbol tab > Click the formula button beside 'Currency Symbol' and use this code:
If Year(GridRowColumnValue("Date_field")) = 1890 then
"%" else "$"
Note: Replace Date_field with the field name you've used as the Column in the Crosstab. The double-quotes ARE required and you should remove any curly braces that CR adds automatically.
4) You might want to use a similar code in the 'Position' formula too.
Let me know how this goes.
