Event booking statuses

Is there any way to amend or add event booking statuses? At the moment the default status is "success" can I replace this with something like "booking confirmed" then add "invoice sent" and "payment received"? Thanks for any help.

Please use negative numbers in this case...
If you are sending a follow-up, this is the number of days relative to the event date that it will be emailed to the subscribers you choose. A negative value will cause the follow-up to be sent before the event date, zero will be sent on the date, and a positive value after the event. For example, a Delivery Day of -7 will cause the message to be sent a week before the event; a value of 1 would cause the message to be sent the day following the event.

    We accept credit card payments on our event booking forms. In the event that the customer makes an error in entering their payment information, the page correctly detects the error and reports it.
    However, attempt is seen as a "failed payment" and an event booking with a status of Failed is created for this event.
    Is there a way to prevent failed attempts from creating an entry in the event booking list?

    I've inserted the form onto the web app item detail page using the following code which references a .tpl file where the form is located:

    It didn't mention the auto-responder though.
    Maybe because of the way I've set it up, perhaps it's not possible to send the auto-responder from the original form, do you think?

  • How to set product Id for event booking order?

    We take paid bookings for a number of events through the year. Since the event booking information is identical for every event (only the event details change), we have implemented this by embedding the HTML from a standardised web form into each event's details section.
    However, when the event booking is submitted by the customer, Business Catalyst creates a product whose name is constructed as {form name}/{event name} to correspond to this event. This product is referenced in the CRM order for this event that is linked to the customer. This means we get a separate product for each event type.
    The problem is that the product code that is assigned to the event booking product is the ID of the web form that was used to process the event (ie. the form embedded in the event detail). Since we use the same web form for multiple events we are now seeing duplicate product codes.
    I would like to create a common product for all event bookings and pass this product ID when posting the form on submit of the event booking. The reason for a single booking product is to simplify the synchronisation to our accounting system - otherwise we need to create a new product in the accounting system every time we add a new event.
    Is there a query parameter I can include on the form's action URL or as an input field to the form that controls the product ID and / or the product name that will be used for the booking order?
    The only other solution I can think of to solve this challenge is to create a unique web form - event combination for every single event. This is not a great solution due to the unnecessary duplication that this will involve - I would rather re-use a common piece of code.

  • Order lines stays in booked status when HVOP errors out

    Hi Gurus,
    During HVOP some lines are getting stuck with "BOOKED" status.
    sometimes these will get stuck with schedule ship date being populated;
    sometimes these will get stuck in "BOOKED" status with schedule ship date as blank.
    When lines get stuck in 'BOOKED' status, we are seeing that HVOP either just gets hanged or it complets in error.
    Output file of HVOP says :

    ORA-06510: PL/SQL: unhandled user-defined exception

    ORA-01086: savepoint 'PROCESS_BATCH' never establishedLooks like a bug to me. Check metalink and obtain the latest version / patch of the code.
    If that does not help, raise an SR to obtain a fix.

  • Adding a field to an Event Booking form and modyfying the results module.

    I am trying to use the Events/Booking system to book casual days at a child care centre for a client. I can customise the Events Detail form layout but I need some additional fields and to make some changes to the auto responses.
    The form/page is only visible in a secure zone, so the logged in user gets the form submitted against their name. This is fine. However, I need to also capture the name of the child who is being booked in by the adult. Can I add a field to this form and have it recorded in the event bookings. I have tried to add a field, but the data is not captured in the form results.
    I also need to modify a few other things about the module:
    - the form work flow. Where/how can I set the workflow used for the Event/Booking Submission? It seems to have picked one at random.
    - I need to change the text/field names on the form results module on both the email confirmation and the confirmation page.
                - it shows "Seats Booked" which in this case is an inappropriate description of the action taken. I need to change this to "Places Requested", or remove it completely.
               - it also shows "Booking Confirmed". I need to change this to "Booking Request Received"
    - the email confirmation shows a Verify Booking Link at the top of the email. This isn't in the Notification Email template on the Event. How can I remove it?
    I can use javascript to hide or search and replace some of the offending tags, but I was hoping that there was a cleaner way.
    Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    The form for booking is just a web form, BC treats it differently when in the events page. So under web forms you will find the booking form. You can not just add fields to the html of the form. You need to add them here so they can go into the database.
    - The webform workflow can be changed on the web form settings, the workflows are under the site settings and you can create/edit them there.
    - You can only have the name of the fields that come out, you do not have much customisation on the email confirmation or the layout. You can not limit or edit the fields.
    - You can not use javascript in emails, this is not a BC thing, this is an email/web thing.

    Understand only MR11 is see for pending bills bookings, but I would like to know the Projects PO-Service, after ML81N - service completion & PO-Material - after MIGO-Goods Receipt, these are done by Project Dept,
    MIRO for Service Entry sheet & MIRO for MIGO-Goods Receipt does by other dept
    I would like to see any standard report where the pending Bills booking status shown with regard to ML81N & MIGO-GR done POs.

    Hi Srihari,
    Use ME2J to view Purchasing Documents for Projects.For PO-Service you can enter item category as D & for PO-material you can enter item category relevant for material.
    From this you will be able to see list of POs.Check history of individual POs through me23n.You will be able to know how much is PO amount, how much amount SErvice entry/GR has been done,how much amount billing is done.

  • Any plans to enhance the Event Booking functionality?

    At the moment the Event Booking functionality is very limited.
    Are there any plans in the near future to enhance how it works to include things like:
    An end date for an event - at the moment it is impossible to indicate that an event goes for more than 1 day.
    Easy payment for bookings - while you can currently take payments for books it is near impossible for customers to easily book more than 1 event at a time or book for multiple people (you either need to use custom javascript to calculate the cost) or reply on the customer to calculate the cost.
    Use vouchers for bookings. Event bookings should really use the same checkout as the shop so customers can use vouchers and discount codes. The way I see it is bookings are just a unique type of product.

    As Mike says, it actually works rather well. 
    The only possibly confusing bit is that there is a "To:" box and "CC" and "Bcc" buttons along with a button for a LR Address book.  Once you know to ignore these it works just fine with Thunderbird and presumably other email clients.

    I've created an events web app so that it make it easier for the end user to create events in the backend. My form element looks like this:

    The above enables the form to treat the web app as an event booking. My form has the auto-responder turned on and I have the following inside the auto responder:

    We look forward to seeing you at this event.

    When I test out the event though, the contents of the auto-responder doesn't match the above. Instead the email only shows:
    Verify Your Booking
    Click to verify your booking.
    Dear Name.
    Thank you for your booking
    I tried turning off the autoresonponder in the form and then using the one in the web app but this didn't do anything, ie. I still receive the above email content.
    I'm not even sure where it's coming from as I've checked all the system emails and I can't find anything.
    Just wondered if someone could give me some advice to solve this?

  • Event Booking Fields

    I'm using the event booking module for the first time, and I seem to be missing something very simple:
    1. How do I show the event price.
    2. How do I show the event venue.
    I can't add them to the description as I want to show them in the list view as well as the detail view and doing that isn't really a user-friendly option anyway.
    3. I would ideally like to include an introtext in the list view, but I don't see a tag for that either.
    4. I'm using the breadcrumbs module but as far as I can see only webpages can be used - so event detail views are excluded, and I don't see a method of adding the detail view to a webpage... is this correct?
    Thanks for any help, it feels like I'm not understanding something really obvious!

    For anyone else with this issue, here's the case reply I got:
    I'll address your question in the same order you asked on chat so here they go:
    1) The price cannot be shown using a system tag and you will have to specify that using the booking name if you want to see it in the list view (it can be specified in the detail view but also typing it by hand and not using a tag from our system)
    2) In the list view this info cannot be displayed as we don't have a tag for this (so you will have to choose whether you want to display this info or not in the list view and using what tag (please review the available tags for list view at the bottom of this message)
    3) Regarding this truncated text as an introductory to the event it cannot be done as indeed there's no tag available to do that.
    4) On this fourth question regarding the breadcrumbs, as it is mentioned in our KB ((search for: module_breadcrumbs) http://helpx.adobe.com/business-catalyst/kb/modules-quick-reference.html) for modules quick reference: It "displays web pages breadcrumbs which follow the sitemap" and as a workaround to display the events I think it is possible but with some custom JS code, but unfortunately falls outside the scope of our support. Also when customizing the events layouts you cannot take somehow just the details of the event and display that, not by default using BC. What you can do in exchange (but depends on how many items you have)  you can display your items in a page, open independently and then take the URL formed like site.domain.com/BookingRetrieve.aspx?ID=xxxxx (where xxxxx is your ID)

  • REST API event-source-status pagesize

    Hi,
    I'm having an issue with the REST API method event-source-status
    I want to get the method to return a list of all the attached event
    sources. I have about 1400 attached to Sentinel but on calling the
    method only 400 entries are returned.
    On my test env (I have 4 event sources) I have tried to modify my script
    to call event-source-status?pagesize=1 with the intention to read 1
    object, then effectively going to the next. However the results via
    postman appear to show that with a pagesize of 1 that 4 items are
    returned with 1 next link, and on pressing next the same 4 items are
    returned.
    All I want to do is iterate through all event sources but dont seem to
    be able to get them all in 1 list or get them in the pagesize I
    require.
    Any help welcome.

    If you would like to iterate through all the event sources in a
    paginated manner, use this URL:
    1. To get all the event sources attached:
    /SentinelRESTServices/objects/eventsource
    2. To get N-number(Say 5) event sources / per page:
    /SentinelRESTServices/objects/eventsource?page=1&pagesize=5 (This comes
    with next url which would look like, <next

    In above example, the 'page' attribute is for the page number you are
    querying for.
    and the 'pagesize' is the number of elements you would like to retrieve

    url.
    I have tested it with Sentinel 7.2 and found working as expected.
    In your query above, you have mentioned about
    /SentinelRESTServices/objects/event-source-status url.
    To get all the event sources' status just call
    /SentinelRESTServices/objects/event-source-status (without any page
    attribute).
    Let us know if both the REST EP(/objects/eventsource and
    /objects/event-source-status) works for you as expected.

  • Recon Event Deferred Status

    Hi,
    When a new user data is sent from peoplesoft (Trusted source) with future start date, workforce sync message is in not process until start date, leaving it in "Event Deferred" Status.
    I have experienced that with SAP connector we can disable the feature to wait till start date for Recon event to be processed and Link the event which creates user with status "Disabled until start date".
    Is there a similar solution with PeopleSoft ER connector? I have tried to find it in Connector documentation but could not find it.
    Please help me find the solution for this.

    To process future dated events which are in 'Event Deferred' status you need to write custom scheduled task.
    Search for reconciliation event with 'Event Deferred' status and iterate through Result set and get Reconciliation event key and future date (Reconciliation Manager.Future Date)
    then check number of days difference between current date and recon future date and as per your business requirement you can process the recon event.
    to process future dated recon event you need to set status to 'Event Received' because with status "Event Deferred" OIM does not process them.

    updateMap.put("Reconciliation Manager.Status", "Event Received");
    //update Recon Event data

  • Using event booking tags in a web app

    Hi everyone,
    I can use the following event booking tags within the event bookings module:

    The above code works perfectly fine if using the bookings module but when I try to use the code in a web app, I'm not getting any results because, I assume, it's because the tags are specific to the bookings module. As I want to recreate this effect in a web app, does anyone know how I can get the tags to work with my web app?

    I'm curious to know if you have got this working? I have not tested this out, but I wouldn't think that you could use JavaScript to dynamically change a module.
    I would think that you could just create a drop down for them called "Free10254 or Paid45008" with the numbers being the values they select.
    Then within the details layout you can have:
    {module_webform,{tag_free10254 or paid45008}}
    This would cut out the need for js.
