Adding a field to an Event Booking form and modyfying the results module.

I am trying to use the Events/Booking system to book casual days at a child care centre for a client. I can customise the Events Detail form layout but I need some additional fields and to make some changes to the auto responses.
The form/page is only visible in a secure zone, so the logged in user gets the form submitted against their name. This is fine. However, I need to also capture the name of the child who is being booked in by the adult. Can I add a field to this form and have it recorded in the event bookings. I have tried to add a field, but the data is not captured in the form results.
I also need to modify a few other things about the module:
- the form work flow. Where/how can I set the workflow used for the Event/Booking Submission? It seems to have picked one at random.
- I need to change the text/field names on the form results module on both the email confirmation and the confirmation page.
            - it shows "Seats Booked" which in this case is an inappropriate description of the action taken. I need to change this to "Places Requested", or remove it completely.
           - it also shows "Booking Confirmed". I need to change this to "Booking Request Received"
- the email confirmation shows a Verify Booking Link at the top of the email. This isn't in the Notification Email template on the Event. How can I remove it?
I can use javascript to hide or search and replace some of the offending tags, but I was hoping that there was a cleaner way.

The form for booking is just a web form, BC treats it differently when in the events page. So under web forms you will find the booking form. You can not just add fields to the html of the form. You need to add them here so they can go into the database.
- The webform workflow can be changed on the web form settings, the workflows are under the site settings and you can create/edit them there.
- You can only have the name of the fields that come out, you do not have much customisation on the email confirmation or the layout. You can not limit or edit the fields.
- You can not use javascript in emails, this is not a BC thing, this is an email/web thing.

    You can certainly create a Quiz using FormsCentral but there is nothing built in to "grade" the quiz and no integration with any grading systems like flubaroo.
    You might be able to use "Formulas" on the "View Response" tab to identify correct/incorrect answers.

    You have to use custom JavScripting to concatenate the first 2 fields. You cannot use the first 2 calculation options because they force the values of the fields to a numeric value or ignore string values.
    Possible scripts for the 3rd field are:
    event.value = this.getField("Text1").valueAsString + " " + this.getField("Text2").valueAsString;
    or
    event.value = this.getField("Text1").valueAsString.concat( " ",  this.getField("Text2").valueAsString);
    If you do not want change the separator or not show the separator when on or the other field is empty, you will need to add more code to adjust for change.
    The above scripts will also concatenate number because the field values are read as strings and not numbers.
    There is also a generalized user written function to concatenate up to 3 fields with a separator that adjust for missing data.

       I used the MM06E005 to create and populate the custom fields for PO.
       Similary i used MEREQ001 to create and populate the custom fields for PR.
      All I need is .. When I go ME21N transaction. Click on document overview select  PR and that PR i drag and drop into the shopping cart. When i do that the values from  PR should copy into PO.

    .. and by the way, the jump from FCP 6.0.3 to FCP 7.0 (or higher) isn't an "update"  It's a full version "upgrade" that has to be done using the install discs (or disc images).

    Why not just connect the PC directly to the TC by ethernet and copy the files over?
    It is hugely faster and much less mucking around.
    In windows load the airport utility for windows.. if you have not already as this will help you access the drive.

    File -> New Smart Album
    Description -> contains -> Duplicate
    will find them.
    Then the keystroke to delete depends on which version of iPhoto you have. All the keyboard shortcuts are under the Help menu.

When there was support for Google Toolbar, I was able to do this; now, whenever I want to search for something, I have to open a new tab to do it, and cut-and-paste my search into the search field in the new tab. I used to be able to highlight, drag, and drop something into the search field and have it automatically open in a new tab. This is enough for me to switch to Chrome . . .

    What you're calling "Adobe Forms" is really Adobe FormsCentral. The FormsCentral service is indeed going away soon, but you can always create PDF forms (AcroForms) with Acrobat. Acrobat also comes with a desktop version of the FormsCentral desiger, which can be used to create simple PDF forms that can be used apart from the FormsCentral service. So you'll no longer be able to create and host web forms with the FormsCentral service or use PDF forms with the FormsCentral service. You will be able to create standalone PDF forms with Acrobat and simple PDF forms with the FormsCentral desktop app.

    Office for Mac 2011 (or Office 365) are both available as downloads.  Start at mactopia.com.
    I would say they are not treated as "upgrades" to Office 2008.  I don't believe there is any pricing discount for previous Office users, nor do I think the download uses any of the Office 2008 version and updates it.  Whichever of the two current Office products you purchase would be considered an entirely new and different product.

    What am I doing wrong? The first time I created my form I used Acrobat and the FormsCentral embedded in the program. The original form was working, but I had to make some changes to it. I can't get FormCentral to launch within Acrobat anymore. I loaded my new form (with the changes) to Forms Central through the browser interface, yet when I open the form and download the form to post the posted form does not work. Help!
