Event on Go button

Hi,
I have got a following scenario.
The page level prompt has date parameters and the from and to date need to be selected.
The requirement is if the difference between from and to date id more than 30, then the user whould be given the alert messgae to not to select more than 30 days and the report should be generated.
The report can be generated only if the difference is less than or equivalent to 30 days.

Hi,
you can go with different aproach...
one prompt type date and one prompt with number of days with drop down to select a number from 1 to 30. Both to set variables VAR_DATE and VAR_NR_OF_DAYS...
Set your report to filter like this:
"Time".Day between TIMESTAMPADD(SQL_TSI_DAY, -@{VAR_NR_DAYS}{30}, @{VAR_DATE}{CURRENT_DATE}) and @{VAR_DATE}{CURRENT_DATE}Regards

Your button tag should be defined as follows:

Then onInputProcessing Page write the following code:

 CASE EVENT->ID.
 WHEN 'btn_ShowProductStructure'.

How can i Associate two events with submit button using javascript in jsp. Firstly it should insert the data to database and secondly it should close the same pop-up window

Have something like :
<input type="submit" name="submitbtn" value="Click me" onClick="function1(); function2(); " />
You just call both functions sequentially, it's that simple. Although using javascript to work with a database, that seems a bit tricky.

Writting Events for TableView Buttons

I created a table view in a jsp dynpage which has one of the columns type as button.i got it by using "setColumnType" attribute of tableview.
now i want to fire server and client events onclick of those buttons.how to achieve it? can we write client and server events for those buttons as like normal buttons.

Thank you for ur reply.i know that we can achieve it using "setOnCellClick " but i want to know whether we can use the normal attributes of a button for this button placed in a cell of a tableview.
if yes how to use it.is there any relation between cell renderer attribute and my requirement.
Note:
you can share ur ideas about other components also which can be used in a tableview (inputfield,link,image...) and writting events for those components.

Hello Hassan,
The button for which you are tying to assign is a part of Toolbar group, then in CRMC_BLUEPRINT_C there under Application element expand the node TOOLBAR GROUP, there select you toolbar group & on the left panel you have ASSIGN EVENTS
there you can assign the event. Provided event should be defined before.

Contextual Event for a Button in Dialogue (inline popup)

I have dialogue(in-line popup window) which opens on click of button "viewPopUp" in parent window.
I have a table and "select" button inside dialogue. I have contextual event created for this button inside child wondow.
It never works for me. Its not calling the event handler method. But, If I add a contextual event for the button "viewPopUp" on the parent page works fine.
Anybody faced similar issue?
Any idea or tips to get it work?

I use JDeveloper 11.1.1.5. I might be doing something wrong here. Do you have the sample code to share and test in JDeveloper 11.1.1.5? Is it running for you in JDeveloper 11.1.1.5 version?

uninstalled firefox ....deleted all files still remaining under mozilla firefox directory in program files ... to avoid having to reprogram all my settings, reisntall all addons as well .. I did not remove anything from mozilla firefox that is stored in either appdata or under the windows users directory (if any)

lo_app_info = lo_appl->get_application_info( ).
DATA lv_app_name TYPE string .
lv_app_name = lo_app_info->get_name( ).

How the PCUI event for export button works?

After get the order search result in PCUI, when I click the Export button.
It show me the message that : Microsoft office 2003 or higher is not installed on your computer.
In fact, I have the office 2003. And I found that the event for Export button is PCF_DL_EXPORT.

Have you tried double-clicking on the auto complete component in the designer? You should be taken to a method like "autocomplete1_complete". This method is called when the autocomplete gets focus and also for each character typed in the field.

Event structure capture event on dimmed buttons

Hi,
I have a MMI with buttons I dynamically disable or enable by means of Property Nodes. I capture the Release Mouse Button Event on these buttons with an Event Structure. The problem is that my application seems to recognize this event even when the buttons are disabled and greyed out... What am I doing wrong? Is this a LabVIEW bug? What can I do to prevent this from happening?

This is the expected behavior: disabling a control prevents the user from changing its value (and other attributes for compound controls like graphs), but does not prevent the control from receiving mouse events.
You may want to test for a disabled state and filter the event, yourself.

How to Capture the event when minimized button is clicked of a JFrame?

In my SWING application, I want to do something when the minimized button is clicked. But not able to understand how to do that.
My basic requirement is like that, if I minimize the JFrame, it should be minimized to system tray with an icon. Again when the icon is clicked, the frame should be maximized in the Windows.
Also, how to make my JFrame visible/invisible. If I close it, then the process will got killed... that I don't want to happen. Should I us setVisible(true/false) for the frame... Please suggest...

How to add a new button in IC tool bar and handle the event for the button?

    I am working on CRM 2007 Interaction center. To add a new button to IC toolbar, customizing is available to define a new button and then assign in to the profile.
In SPRO->CRM->IC webclient->Customer Specifc System Modifications->Define Toolbar Buttons, I defined one new button with ID ZSTART.
Now in SPRO->CRM->IC webclient->Basic Functions->Communication Channels->Define Toolbar Profiles , I selected Default profileid and in Generic Layout Buttons Tab, I added the new button ZSTART in Position 3.
     So after completing the customizing when the user logs in using role IC_AGENT, the button (with ID:ZSTART) gets displayed in the IC toolbar too.
      Now on click of this button, I need to create an object.
To do so, I have to catch the event which is raised by this new button.
       Please let me how to implement the event handler for this new button. What will be the event name for this button click event and how I can subscribe for it ?
     Please let me know if anyone of you have already worked on similar requirements.

thanks for your reply. Yes I know about that but when a round trip to the server is made the lead selection is at the first row of the table and when i click the button on, for example, the 3rd row the getLeadSelection method returns 1 and the color marker for the current row stays on the first row. So I need to click first somewhere else on the 3rd row and then on the button in order to update the value of lead selection and it's not very nice. So if you have some other idea it would be very helpful. Or perhaps some workaround.
