Events not appearing across event-spanning days in ip 3gs

Can you help pls
I have a 3gs syncing via excange server. seems generally ok but events spanning several days do not appear in the iphone - just the start entry (eg in an event spanning 5 days, just appears in iphone on first day). The full event does appear on teh wbe or exchange version correctly, and the event itself, although not appearing in teh individual days correctly, is correctly entered - if I try to edit the event on iphone it does appear as a 5 day event.
Any ideas please - or wheer can I get help?

same issue here even after 8.1.1
tried on two phones

  • Image does not appear across all browsers

On the main page, just below the "Available soon for..." there is an order now button. It only appears with Safari. I've tried Firefox, Chrome and IE and the image does not appear on any of those. The thing that gets me is that the image was there before and worked fine, all I did was make it bigger and relink it, so I'm confused why all of a sudden it doesn't show up.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

when you say "Re-upload the image", do you mean reinsert it, or re-link it?
    Neither.
Re-upload it to the web server from your local hard drive. In DW, click on the image file in the Files panel then click the Up arrow to Put the image to the server.
If that does not work, do as Nancy suggests and re-create the image in your image editor then re-upload.

Mmm ... that's a shame (aka that sucks!), as typically means I end up missing messages while sat at my PC not realising my phone is receiving them and vice versa.

  • Ringtones purchased not appear in sounds on my iPhone 6

I've been notice that my purchased ringtones not appear on the next day on my iPhone 6.
Because of that, how do I claim my money from apple for this matter?
I do not have Mac OS for iTune store to transfer the ringtone files for the next purchase.

There has been a issue with ringtones and apple knows about it and is working on fixing it.
Apple is advising customers not to repurchase ringtones and if you did, just give them a ring and they will refund you.
Until then don't purchase any more ringtones at least until the next update.
You can request a refund by going to the Account section within iTunes on a Mac or PC, or you can get help by chat, or contact Apple Care.

  • Syncing iCal to 5G Ipod -- All Day Events appear across 2 days

When I synchronize my iCal calendars to my 5G iPod, the all day events span across two days in the iPod calendar only. Is there a setting somewhere that gives the iPod calendar the ability to recognize the all day events instead of having them span 24 hours (7am to 7am the following day).
Mac OS X (10.4.8)   MacBook Pro 15in 2.33 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

This appeared to be a timezone issue, when daylight savings time came around the iPod and iCal dates synchronized correctly.

  • Why are all-day calendar events not appearing in the Notification Center?

I've noticed that all-day Calendar events do not appear in the Notfication Center in iOS. This is a glaring omission and I'm not sure if it's related to a bug or is intentional but it should be fixed right away. Why in the world would you leave out an all-day event from the Notification Center? What if I had a wedding anniversary or some other important event to remember?

IOS / is no out for a couple of weeks and Apple seems to be reluctant to fix this problem. As a business device it becomes rediculous to be not able to see my calender entries anymore in the notification center. Is Apple now leaving the business arena and focusing on toys ?

  • Events "full day" does not appear in Notification Center

    hello,
Events " full day " does not appear in Notification Center on my iPhone 6 If I add an event at a specific time today , this event is displayed. Otherwise , the part calendar ( on today's page ) show " no events " even if there is one or more events " full day " .
iOS bug or wrong setting on my part ?

With the previous version of Lync if you loaded Lync, powered off, back on, loaded Lync it would appear in notification centre. But this doesn't seem to work now.
However, as I mention other colleagues with the same phone, IOS version etc do work.

  • Multiday event should span days in month view

    Hi all,
I have an event that spans multiple days (begin is Dec 3 @ 12 AM, end is Dec 6 @ 12 AM), but it only appears in one day on iCal's month view. In week view, the event spans all three days.
How can I ensure that an event that spans days +actually visually+ spans the days in month view?
    Thanks,
    Matthew

Is there not any other way. I to have events that are not actually whole day events but that are spanning mulitple days.

  • Display of events spanning several days

    Hello,
When I create an event (all day) in Outlook spanning several days, after syncing the iPhone shows the entry on every single day.
When I do the same with an appointment which is not "all day" (let's say Friday 17:00 - Sunday 15:00) the iPhone only displays the moment of the start. Is that a bug, desired behavior? Any chance to configure it so that I see the starting point plus an entry for each day that is involved?
    TIA!!

I suspect it's a glitch. When I create an event in Outlook as you suggest (today at 1p to Saturday at 6p, for example), I see it on the phone as spanning that whole time, i.e. the event fills part of today, all of tomorrow, and part of Saturday. However, I'm not syncing via iTunes but over-the-air with Exchange.
If you can reproduce this, definitely let Apple know.
You can submit feedback to Apple: http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html.

  • Events spanning several days

    Hi there,
When I'm adding an event spanning several days (eg a holiday) the dot on month view only displays on the start date. This is quit unhelpful when quickly looking at whether I'm free on a particular day.
Am I missing something? Should I be using the repeat event function rather than extending the event date over several days?
    thanks,
    Sam

    Hi there,
While 'All days' may solve some of those problems, you loose the time information on those events, so it is not usefull for events that go from 3 pm on one day until 5 pm three days later...
There should be a Preference Option to display events over several days in a Month view as an extended bar. I would desperately need this feature especially for calendars that are only imported via subscription... and there it is not possible to 'edit' events and 'All days' events are often not a choice.
Also would be great if there would be a Year View ! (Apple are you listening ?)
If anybody knows of any 'workaround' I would be happy to hear it!
    Cheers,
    Matthias

  • I have been synching my iphone with my outlook calendar on my pc wireless and successfully for quite some time. Suddenly, the events I enter on my iphone go on the iphone, the icloud, but do not appear on my pc outlook calendar.  Help!

I have been successfully synching my iphone and pc using outlook for some time, using the icloud.  suddenly, events entered on my iphone, although they are transferred to the icloud, do not appear on my outlook calendar on my pc.  Entering events on my pc does add them to the icloud and my iphone.  Is there a setting that I may have changed that would allow the icloud to add iphone items to the outlook calendar?

I finally got it to work.
mjbart, here are the steps I took in Win7 to fix everything.  (All has been working perfectly now for several days).
I went to the iCloud Control Panel on Win7 and signed out.  That asked me if I "wanted to keep a copy of my iCloud Contacts, calendars, and tasks?".
I responded by clicking on the "Delete from Computer" button, which then advised that I would lose my Contact Groups if I continued, so I then clicked on the "Save Contact Groups" button.
After all the dust settled, I then Signed back into iCloud via the Winndows Control Panel  and checked the Contacts and Calendars boxes.
After a few moments all devices were properly synced and synchronizing.
So far so good.  Hope this works for others!

  • When I enter an event in iCal, soon thereafter multiple other "New Event" notices (one to four) appear for the same day. If I delete these unwanted "New Event" notices, they later reappear -- sometimes multiplying like rabbits. Any suggestions?

Well, using iMovie to rearrange clips in a mini DV video edited by another program is extremely time consuming. I found a workaround. It still takes time, but it's much faster than rearranging the clips using iMovie.
The workaround is as follows. Bring up Finder and go to the directory where your event's clips are stored (typically ~/Movies/iMovie Events/<name of event>). It helps to setup Finder to be in Cover Flow mode, so you can see the beginning of each clip. Then, sort the files in ascending order by the 'Date Modified' field. This makes Finder sort the files in the same order that they were imported from the mini DV tape. Clips with timecodes have the naming convention "clip-<year>-<month>-<day> hour;minute;second.dv". Clips without timecodes use another naming convention. With the files sorted by "Date Modified" in Finder, rename clips as needed so that the date/time in their file names are in ascending order. Note: when you rename a file, you need to restart iMovie. I suggest not running iMovie while renaming files.
I believe the file date/timestamp is only accurate to the second. Occasionally, there may be a couple of clips that have the same date/timestamp. This may cause the ordering to not be correct. The best way to find these is through iMovie. To modify a file's date/time, right click on the clip in the event in iMovie, and then select "Adjust Clip Date and Time...".
So, this workaround is a lot easier and faster than trying to rearrange things from scratch in iMovie. But it's still time consuming. Creating a project out of an already edited video should take less than 5 minutes (not counting import time), but that's not the case.
I submitted an enhancement request to Apple asking if they can add an option to sort an event's clips in the order that they were imported by iMovie. Those who have the same issue as me, I suggest you submit an enhancement request as well.
    Anyone have any other suggestions?
    Thanks.

In contacts there is the possibility to add a new event, as the birthdays, but they do not appear in iCal. Is there any way to make that possible? It is normal to have a person with his birthday, anniversary and others key dates you want to link to such person, but the only one shows up is the birthday. How to be able to show all those dates linked to people in the agenda in the iCal?
    Thanks

    Hi,
I sugggest you try my application, Dates to iCal. It is shareware with a 2 week trial period.
Dates to iCal 2 is a replacement for Apple's birthday calendar for iCal. It has a range of features to allow the user to choose what, and what not, to sync to iCal from Address Book.
As well as automatically syncing birthday dates from Address Book, Dates to iCal 2 can sync anniversary and custom dates. It can set up to five alarms for each date in iCal and can also set different alarms for birthdays and anniversaries. It allows the option of only syncing from one Address Book group. This application also allows for the titles of the events sent to iCal to be modified to the user's preference.
    Best wishes

  • Event created on iPhone does not appear in iCal

When I create an event on my phone and sync, it does not appear in iCal. Events created on my laptop sync without issue. Contacts sync both ways, but calendar events do not go from the phone to the computer. I am not using MobileMe to sync, simply using the USB cable.
I have tried the following to resolve my issues:
    * Make sure iTunes and iPhone are up to date
    * Make sure all calendars are set to sync with iTunes
    * Try different USB ports on the laptop
    * Restart phone and computer
    * Reset sync history in iSync and re-sync
    * Follow directions in this support article: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1627 to do a full reset of sync history and re-sync
Yet after trying all of those solutions, I still cannot sync events created on my phone to my laptop. Does anyone out there know of anything else I can try that might work?
    Thank you,
    Cameron

After a trip to the genius bar, I found how to solve this problem, at least for me:
    0) Plug in iPhone
    1) Start iCal
    2) Export all calendars (File -> Export)
    3) Quit iCal
    4) Delete all calendars from ~/Library/Calendars
    5) Start iCal
    6) Import all exported calendars
    7) Start iTunes, configure syncing to overwrite calendars on phone
    8) Sync iPhone
