Ever since the new update, my Ipod won't sync. Starts to sync but then goes back to connected eject before disconnecting. Still won't transfer songs even after being restored. Restored fine. But now I've got nothing on it. Please god help!

For awhile, since the newest update, I'd noticed when charging the ipod (classic) that it stopped going to the charging screen and would stay on the Connected: Eject before disconnecting' screen. But, y'know, didn't matter to me, it still charged... until today when I tried to add music. Tried it many times, reset it... STILL wouldn't transfer songs... It would 'say' it was syncing, but then suddenly stop and stay on the same Connect: please eject before disconnecting' page. I did a couple of times get a message about scanning it but, after restoring that never popped up again...
So, I do a system restore on it and ofcourse THAT works, but it STILL won't sync! So, now I've got an ipod with no music that won't sync and because it's all gone on there, I'm not sure how to back up my stuff (should I need to re-install iTunes... Though I doubt it'd work...)... So, yeah, I tried a different cable too, still no luck...
There has GOT to be some way to fix this!

I think the problem is that the iPod got set to Manually manage music and videos. It needs to be set up for automatic syncing again. Just unchecking that Manually manage music and videos setting does not do it.

In the sidebar (along left side of screen), there are two headings (Settings and On My Device). Under Settings, click on Music. To the right, you see the iPod's Music screen, where you tell iTunes how to sync songs to the iPod.
Check the box at the top for Sync Music. That turns ON automatic syncing for music. Below that, choose the option to sync Entire music library (assuming your music library fits completely on your iPod). Otherwise, you can choose the option to sync Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres and make your selections below. Then click Apply.

About 7/16 of an inch of my screen for my Iphone 4 no longer responds ever since the new update

Ever since the iOS 7 update about 7/16 of an inch on my screen no longer works meaning if i where typing in safari an hit the globe button that changes the keyboard to what ever you have on your list (for example Emoji) i would end up having to back out of certain apps or have to turn my phone sideways to type key board style in order to even change the keyboard back to english that as well as all my buttons with in the 7/16 range no longer respond so if i wanted to delete an app i would need to drag it into an app folder and then move away from the 7/16 zone in order to delete it i have never had this problem until the update and although minor it is annoying. If anyone has any ideas on what is causing this to happen or a solution other then upgrading due my 2yr contract with At&t is still on going until next year.

Ever since the new update firefox 4.01 it won't start, or when it does it freezes and crashes - I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting the computer. I lost all my bookmarks when I uninstalled in hasted and didn't back them up

Ever since the ios updates, my ipod will not connect to my computer or itunes.

So am unable to get music on it, etc. Is there anything I can do? Besides reinstall itunes, because that did not work.
I also cannot even go through my device managers since nothing even appears. I have a Toshiba Windows 7 Laptop.

However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
- New cable and different USB port

Ever since the new update on my GSlll i have been getting notifications from dating websites.

I decided to click on one last night and it took me to the Play Store to install it. WHY do i keep getting these? I don't even look at dating sites because i've been married for 19 years and i'm not interested in what is on a dating site! Anyone else having random sites appearing at the top of your phone where the notifications bar is? Really getting tired of having to clear my bar 4 or 5 times a day to get rid of the little star or green cross! Help!

Are these occurring in the Notifications bar? You have installed an app that is pushing ads to you. It could have been anything; a game, ringtone app, wallpaper app, etc. Install something like "Airpush Detector" from Google Play and see if it can find the offending app.

thats tough man, yeah exchanging it is the best option. But why do people always leave a message saying" i'll probably just by an ipod" and it's usually followed by, "even though i don't like apple or ipod" . I mean fine, if u feel like giving up on the zen micro thats fine, i personally don't care if you're going to buy an ipod. for god sakes ipod isn't even the next alternati've mp3 players, theres plenty. Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Hey Ryan, When you looked at Get Info as Illaass instructed did you compare all the info listed in iTunes Get Info on the computer's copy? When you looked at the song(s) that are separated, do they list anything different like a featured artist? Or a different composer / song writer? Sometimes that will trick the the software into thinking it is 2 different albums. Make the info about the album and artist match, then sync to your iPod. The songs should go back where they belong on your iPod. Good luck. Cheers.

First, create a separate login on your computer for your friend. Do this BEFORE you do anything else. Next, make sure iTunes is up to date. Then:
1. Disable auto sync when an iPod/iPhone is connected under Preferences>Devices in iTunes.
2. Make sure you have one contact & one event in the supported applications(Address Book, iCal) on your computer. These entries can be fake, doesn't matter, the important point is that these programs not be empty.
3. Connect her phone, iTunes running, do not sync at this point.
4. Store>Authorize this computer.
5. File>Transfer Purchases(To make sure all purchased content on her phone will be in her itunes library).
6. Right click in the device pane & select reset warnings.
7. Right click again and select backup.
8. Right click again & select restore from backup, select the backup you just made. When prompted to create another backup, decline.
9. This MUST be followed by a sync to restore her itunes content, which you select from the various tabs, You'll get a popup regarding her contacts & calendars asking to merge or replace, select merge.
You should be good to go.

I seem to be having a similar problem. Since updating to iOS 7 my text messages are consistently getting the message send failure. I-messaging is fine, it appears to only happen with simple text messages to non-iPhone users. Maybe 1 out of 5 goes through on the first try.
Tried all the usual suspects. Checked settings. Restarted phone.
