Does anyone have the same issue? Then at times it starts to buzz.

I have this same problem. Randomly they will make a really loud buzzing noise and stop. Its really annoying and I don't know how to get it to stop!!

I went thought the system preferences and didn’t find any switches in the wrong position, I had a friend look as well. This happens regardless of the applications open. I have been running OSX 7, today I am DL and plan to install OSX 8 tonight.

I simply cannot Sync Firefox 32.0.1; how is this possible? Every guide you have does not match up with what I actually see when going to preferences or Tools.

I've searched everything I can, followed all the directions and get to the point Firefox tells me Syncing will begin shortly. Well it never happens and I don't see the options in Tools and Preferences indicated by the help topics.

Why does my iPhone 3GS keep powering off into a black screen with what looks like a barcode displayed?

My iPhone 3GS keeps powering off at any point when between 5 and 50% battery remains.
I could be in the middle of texting, receiving a call or using an app when all of a sudden the screen goes black and very faint randomly distributed lines are visible from the top of the screen to the bottom. The display looks a little like a barcode. I am then unable to restart the phone without plugging it into a power supply. I've looked on the Internet and cannot find a similair case.
It is so frustrating and I am continually thinking it will crash at any point.
Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated.

This workflow is recommended to help ensure the best quality video DVD:
Once you have the project as you want it save it as a disk image via the File ➙ Save as Disk Image menu option. This will separate the encoding process from the burn process.
To check the encoding mount the disk image and launch DVD Player and play it. If it plays OK with DVD Player the encoding was good.
Then burn to disk with Disk Utility or Toast at the slowest speed available (2x-4x) to assure the best burn quality. Always use top quality media: Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are the most recommended in these forums.

What happens when the light goes off on an express airport router?

I was on the internet using a wireless connection with an express airport and suddenly I heard a sound and the light on the router went competelly off. I would like to know what happened. I unplugged the airport and plugged in again on another outlet but nothing happens. The airport has about 3 or 3.5 years.

It's not possible to know exactly what happened within the AirPort Express unless you carefully saw the case open along the seams to examine the internal components.
It's likely that something in the power supply section has failed since the device will not power up. Repairs...if possible.....would likely cost more than the cost of a replacment Express, but if you are handy with small electronics repairs, you could poke around a bit to take a look for something obvious.

When I first saw it, I thought it was a jquery thing because I was developing a website using Responsive Design. But I removed all the jquery and they still remained. Modeum to internert with out airport is working, airport goes amber when pluged in. have used before ok as bridge w/prosafeVPN. Do not want to use VPN what do i need to change?

I took out the pro safe that was after the modum and before the airport extreme, the internet works fine direct to the modeum, but when I plug the modeum diecrt to the airport extreme i get an amber light. What setting do I have to change. I will be plugging in two computer with ethernet cords and one that goes off to another area with a witch box for two computer or one computer and one gaming system. I seemd to have to reset everthing often with the prosafe, maybe due to the gaming boy in the building. What to do

Hey guys, I'm a pretty much a mediocre Photoshop user at best. I can use all the basic tools and usually can figure things out once I find a tutorial, but I haven't been able to find the best way to perform what seems like a simple step. I have a bunch of icons I need to edit by removing the outer grayish/transparent square.
I've tried the "Select > Color Range", and the "Magic Wand Tool", but those tools by themselves don't get the job done. I wasn't able to get either of these tools to only select the exact area I needed to remove. The issue seems to be that some of the logo's have similar gray features to them that need to remain after I delete the outer gray areas.
I need to end up with just the main logo in the square icon in a transparent .png. What would be the best way for a mediocre photoshop user to remove the outer gray portion of an image...and have all the edges just as sharp as they are now?

Thanks for the step by step instructions. I followed what you suggested and for some reason, I'm just not getting the results. The outer gray areas are not as prominent, but they are still there (but now white) once I finish the steps you suggested. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
So whatever color I use in the last step to fill the new layer that is the color of the outer gray area and the main icon graphic.
For example, I tried the "?" icon. This was the before:

I tried to disable siri but the it did the same thing with voice control please make an option to disable all these things because i never use siri but there it is going off without being called upon please fix sooooon!!!!

It sounds as if the button in the headphones is stuck and that is what is doing it. In the one wire of the headphones is a button to activate Siri. It is very possible something is wrong with that. Does the phone activate Siri all the time when the headphones are not plugged in? The headphones have the same warranty as the phone. Take the device with the headphones back to the Apple store and they can replace them.
