EWAF 016Due to a communications error method GET_CHQ_BOUNCE_INFO could...

Hello Everyone,
I have developed a generic sync appln. After deployment, on execution i get the foll error/return message..
"<b>EWAF 016Due to a communications error method GET_CHQ_BOUNCE_INFO could not be executed</b>"
I have done the mapppings in the table BWAFMAPP and MEMAPPDEST.
I have also tested the RFC connection and also tried remote logon. Alls working fine.
My wrapper is also remote-enabled.
To check the RFC connection i have also tried calling the wrapper which is in the b/e from a test FM in the middleware. Even that is working.
The configuration I am using is :-
MI 25 SP 13 Patch 00
WAS release 640
b/e R/3 release 700(ECC 6.0)
Kindly help me with this.
Thanks & Regards,
Saurabh.

Hi Craig,
I was actually not using the f4 help of the
IF_BSP_SERVICES class. Now I want to implement this as I have got many fields on my page. But I am getting the above mentioned error while doing this. The Code in OnInitialization() is:
data: dataref1 type ref to data.
data:wa_r8t_prog type ZR8T_S_API_PROG_H.
get reference of wa_r8t_prog-ZR8CPRGTY into dataref1.
try.
call method runtime->ddic_utils->get_simple_helpvalues
exporting
data_object_ref = dataref1
changing
helpvalue_tab = t_vallist.
catch cx_bsp_services.
endtry.
But I have a search help attached to 'ZR8T_S_API_PROG_H-ZR8CPRGTY' field
My 'ZR8T_S_API_PROG_H' structure definition is as follows:
.INCLUDE     ZR8T_REBATE_PROG          0     0     Rebate Program
ZR8CPRGID     /BIC/OIZR8CPRGID     CHAR     32     0     Rebate Program ID
COMP_CODE     /BI0/OICOMP_CODE     CHAR     4     0     Company Code
ZR8CPRGTY     /BIC/OIZR8CPRGTY     CHAR     5     0     Program type
Can I get f4 help from search help exits or do I have to use only value tables?

  • MTT-Communication Error

    Hi all
    I am trying to do a sync for data for MTR application and I see the following error message in the client and in the NWA (Generic Sync que monitor)
    "Due to a communications error method WAF_TRIP_GET_LIST could not be executed"
    How to I trouble should the error. Had any body came across this kind of error during the implementation of MTT.
    Please help with some solutions. I have gone through the previous threads and tried trouble shooting it, but not able to find out the problem.
    Thanks
    Raj

    Hi Raj,
    Are you using the same middleware system as the backend also. In this case u dont have to make an entry in the MEMAPPDEST table.
    I am not sure which Configuration Guide you are referring to, but please follow the steps given the MI Installation Guide for making entries in the configuration tables for Generic Sync. I shall explain this with an example:
    If WAF_TRIP_GET_LIST is the RFC to be called in the backend system, then in the table MEMAPPDEST, make an entry
    WAF_TRIP_GET_LIST                  RFCTEST
    where RFCTEST is a RFC destination of type 3 which connects to the backend system.
    If WAF_TRIP_GET_LIST resides in the same middleware system, then u dont have to make any entry in the above mentioned table.
    U mentioned that u have used the first one - -"Creating an RFC Destination (Middleware)". By middleware do u mean the same system?

  • Canon MX340 wireless printer no longer connecting over wireless and coming up with "a communications error has occured"

    I have a Canon MX340 wireless printer and have only recently started having trouble printing over the wireless connection. No settings have changed on my MacBook Pro, the printer, the router or the wifi connection and it is strange how it has just stopped working. I have tried things like restarting the laptop and removing the printer from the laptop and re-adding it. It sometimes seems to work for maybe one print but then it goes back to saying "a communications error has occured", when I try to print again.
    Any help would be great. Thanks

    I had the same MX340 problem.  My printer was working fine over WiFi connection to my Airport Extreme for years and then suddenly, about a month ago, it stopped printing after the first print job.  I can print once and then I have to power-cycle the printer to get it to print another time and then I have to repeat the power-cycle.
    The printer seems to be "forgotten" by the network or lose its connection after the first print job.
    On my MacBookPro 10.6.8 I get the error code 300...yadayadayad... On my iMac 10.5.8 it just says :communications error".
    HERE IS THE FIX - I got it off this link - http://www.techsurvivors.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=24681
    You have to connect to the MX340 using the printer cable that came with the printer (or any USB printer cable) and set up a hardwired USB printer queue.  Then print a couple of print jobs - I use TextEdit and type in "1234".  Then try the same thing but select your WiFi print queue - I just type another line on the same sheet of paper with TextEdit.
    The WiFi connection should work again.  I did this a few more times and then disconnected the USB cable and now it continues to work without the USB print queue being used.  I can also print to the WiFi queue with my iMac.
    If you still have problems I suggest you set up the printer again on the WiFi router using the "print cable connection" method.  Here's a link to a webpage someone kindly provided instructions for the process:
    http://machinesaredigging.com/2011/04/08/how-to-install-the-printer-canon-mx340- wi-fi-without-the-cd-on-mac/
    Good luck!

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
    Please check whether you have maintained any RFC destination in the session connection column in the transaction CRMM_BCB_ADM. If you are not running the IC webclient in HTTPS mode then it is not necessary to maintain the session connection here which will basically cause the dump.
    Also please check whether there is any entries made in the transaction CRMM_IC_GFS. Even here only if you want run the IC webclient in the secure mode you need to give a RFC destination which is secured.
    Also check the icm parameters
    rdisp/plugin_auto_logout       = 1800
    icm/keep_alive_timeout (sec.)  = 60
    icm/conn_timeout (msec.)       = 5000
    If the values for the above parameters  are lower than the given value then change it as given above.

    Kiruthika

  • Fatal Communication Error

    Hello, everyone.
    I am fairly new to the world of SQL server, so I apologize for any newbie errors in my question. I am also not sure if this is an SQL, IIS, or Windows Server issue.
    The Environment:
    One physical server running Hyper-V
    Physical server is acting as domain controller, Hyper-v host and DNS server
    All servers are part of the same domain.
    Server version is 2012 R2 in all instances.
    SQL version is 2014 in all instances.
    .NET version is 4.5
    All software is fully updated.
    The Virtual Servers:
    SQL Server
    IIS Web Server
    Test Server with IIS and SQL
    The Problem:
    The IIS Web Server cannot connect to the SQL Server without the application pool crashing.
    The SQL Server logs show the login from the web server was successful.
    The web server’s event logs show a “fatal communication error with the Windows Process Activation service.”
    Other Facts:
    When the IIS server and SQL server are on the same “machine” (the test server mentioned above) there are no issues at all – everything runs normally.
    The website code is identical in both cases, as is the SQL configuration, including users and permissions.
    If the connection on the test (previously working) is changed to connect to the standalone SQL server, the problem triggers, the app pool crashes, and the error message in the event log is the same as in the standalone web server.
    For testing, the firewalls have been turned off on all servers and it makes no difference.
    Windows authentication and SQL authentication both have the same results.
    Using a standalone UDL file, a connection CAN be made to the SQL server from any other server, including the IIS Web Server where the app. pool crashes.
    I realize I am no providing actual examples, but based on the information above, I am hoping to get some direction on where to look for a problem. Most of the information I have found on the error deals with Sharepoint, which is not a variable in my case.
    Since the firewalls have been turned off, the problem only happens when attempting to connect to SQL from an outside server, and only happens through IIS, I am at a loss on what else to check.
    Thank you in advance for any relevant advice.

    Hello,
    By your description, it sounds like an issue with the IIS server. The fact you can connect to SQL Server using all methods except through IIS (where it crashes) means that connectivity is good and SQL Server isn't throwing any errors. My other thought is
    that there may be an issue with DNS and the way you have the virtual switches configured with the host.
    Unfortunately I don't know all that much about IIS or Hyper-V specific host configurations for something such as this. Someone here may be able to help you further, or it could be moved the IIS/Hyper-V specific forums. I'd be willing to continue to help
    out from the SQL Server side if that was to become the case.

  • IChat 5.0.3(745) communication error when trying A/V connection

    Please Help,
    I am not that great with OSX yet I have only had this Macbook Pro for 6 months. Bearing that in mind I have read and tried several things listed on other threads regarding this issue as it may be the same. I am able to connect to Ichat and text chat with people freely. My problem is when I attempt to chat via audio/video conferencing. I get a communication error message. This problem has only recently started. I have been using Ichat problem free for a few months. I do not know what changed to incur this problem.
    Here is what i have tried from other threads so you know where to start:
    1. I deleted the com.apple.ichat.plist file in preferences
    2. I set the bandwidth limit in Ichat to 500kps (changed from none)
    3. I turned off internet sharing in system preferences
    4. I turned off the firewall of my Macbook Pro
    5. I have restarted everything multiple times
    I am using a Time Capsule as my Network router. And I have an ATT DSL modem make is 2wire 2701HG-B.
    The friend I am chatting with is not having these issues, he is able to A/V conference with others, so the problem is on my end.
    Lastly here is the information from the report In case it helps. I would attach it in a text file. . .but I do not know how.
    ANy other suggestions would be very much appreciated. Also when responding please step me through it as best you can, as there were some other posts with solutions that I couldn't figure out how to do.
    THANKS

    Hi,
    Great reply. Thanks for the detail.
    What we have here is two devices doing DHCP.
    The Time Capsule is getting a DHCP issued address and is also Sharing an IP which means it is doing DHCP to the computers.
    Due to the router functions any DHCP issued IP from the 2wire also gets passed on, through the Time Capsule to the computer(s).
    The problem is though that System Preferences > Network > Advanced Button > TCP/IP tab can show only one.
    If this is the WiFi (Airport) option it will be the Time Capsule that is shown.
    (If it were Ethernet then it would show the "closer" device cable/lead-wise which would also be the Time Capsule.

    Next
    Port Mapping Protocol is Apple's version of UPnP (Similar but different)
    When it is On (Enabled) but with no ports set it work like UPnP in that multiple computer can use the same ports at the same time.
    In this sense the Time Capsule is set up.
    2Wire
    Very few manufacturers put UPnP in the same place.
    Port Forwarding And if the device has it, Port Triggering, do tend to be in one of a couple of places.
    Zyxels for instance display a three column list of menu items/Links of which UPnP is listed in the middle column.
    Netgears also tend to have menu system, but more like a web page and display UPnP in it's own item down the left.
    Linksys devices have tabs and subtabs. UPnP is in the Administration Tab (which has no sub items)
    D-Links have Tabs and menus and is in Tool across the top and a Menu item that then shows down the side.
    Some devices have it in Advanced and Misc.
    Some in Tools.
    Some have it as an item, like the DMZ on those 2wire pics, as a Check box on the Port Forwarding page.
    Of course some don't even have UPnP.
    Set Up.
    IF ...
    If it turns out you have UPnP tucked away on some link/menu/page on the 2Wire then Enable it.
    Then the DHCP could be turned Off in the 2Wire and the Time Capsule set to Static (Manually set) IP
    Method.
    Write down everything in the text fields on the Time Capsule on the Internet Pane TCP/IP bit
    Change the 2Wire to Not do DHCP (you will lose internet until you get to the Apply below)
    Change the Time Capsule the read Manually in the drop down where it says "Using DHCP"
    Fill in the text fields with the info you wrote down
    (The IP can be anything in that 192.168.1 range except the current "Router IP")
    Then the SUbnet Mask as is.
    Any DNS server info (Copy anything shown on the 2Wire if the Time Capsule is not showing them)
    Router/Gateway IP (Should be the IP to Access the 2Wire and it's pages)
    Apply
    Any issues return the setting in both devices to what they were (doing DHCP and Using DHCP)
    This will then set a Subnet on one IP for the Time Capsule from the modem.
    The Time Capsule can still continue to Do "Share A Public IP.
    Options.
    Leave the 2Wire doing DHCP
    Set the "Share a Public IP" in the Time Capsule to Bridge (Off) Mode
    This set the Time Capsule as a WiFi Access Point (Wifi Hub) and not a router. Basically it is extending the LAN of the 2wire by WiFi and any further Ethernet that is used.
    Yes the Option is easier and simpler to set up.
    Having said that if you chose the Optional Route, which also collapses the two Subnets into one, you are less "hidden" from the Internet side.
    If the 2Wire device does not have UPnP I will need to know how many device and computer there are that use the internet.
    If multiple devices are using iChat or Face Time then we need to set Port Triggering if we can.
    Other info
    On most domestic devices the ports we are talking about have a certain number already open.
    There are 65535 ports in all and the first 1024 are open to any device that is connected.
    This cover port 80 and 443 for general Web Browsing and secure sites like Banks and the login here at Discussions.
    Mail servers use lots of different ports (25, 110 443 565, 965, 996) depending n the Mail server (POP or IMAP or even who the Server belongs to) but they are all lower than 1024.
    It is IM Apps and Games in particular that need the higher port opened or allowed.

  • CF11 is crashing ( application pool suffered a fatal communication error with the Windows Process Activation Service)

    I have a cluster of 2 IIS web servers on Windows Server 2008 R2. They had been running on CF10 for over a year (if not two) with no problems. I upgraded one server to CF11 and now that server is crashing while the CF10 servers is still running fine.
    In the Windows event log I'm seeing 4 instances of this error:
    "A process serving application pool '******' suffered a fatal communication error with the Windows Process Activation Service. The process id was '4652'. The data field contains the error number."
    Then finally:
    "Application pool '******' is being automatically disabled due to a series of failures in the process(es) serving that application pool.".
    Looking at the application pool in the IIS admin it is stopped. Restarting will resolve but it will eventually crash.
    What could be the issue?
    -Phil

    I'm seeing in the CF logs leading up to the crash:

  • MobiLink communication error -- code: 231, parameter: , system code: 0Details:

    Hi All,
    Can anybody help me why i am getting this error at the time of subscribe() method.
    Below is my code..
        public static final String CONNECTION_RELAY_URL_SUFFIX = "/ias_relay_server/server/rs_server.dll/SUPFarmMBS";
        public static final String SYNC_RELAY_URL_SUFFIX = "/ias_relay_server/server/rs_server.dll/SUPFarmRBS";
    I am successfully able to register application but when i am calling subscribe() am getting MobiLink communication error -- code: 231.
                    ConnectionProfile connectionProfile = ProCRMDB.getSynchronizationProfile();
                    connectionProfile.setServerName(AuthenticationMBO.HOST);
                    connectionProfile.setPortNumber(AuthenticationMBO.RELAY_PORT);
                    connectionProfile.setNetworkProtocol(AuthenticationMBO.SYNCPROTOCOL);
                    NetworkStreamParams streamParams = connectionProfile.getStreamParams();
                    streamParams.setUrl_Suffix(AuthenticationMBO.SYNC_RELAY_URL_SUFFIX);
                    connectionProfile.setDomainName(AuthenticationMBO.DOMAINNAME);
                    connectionProfile.setAsyncReplay(true);
                    connectionProfile.save();
                    ProCRMDB.disableChangeLog();
                    ProCRMDB.subscribe();
                    ProCRMDB.synchronize();

    sorry for the little mistake I made. you should normally use
    public static final String SYNC_RELAY_URL_SUFFIX = "/ias_relay_server/client/rs_client.dll/SUPFarmRBS";
    instead of
    public static final String SYNC_RELAY_URL_SUFFIX = "/ias_relay_server/server/rs_server.dll/SUPFarmRBS";
    This should normally work
    This also apply for the registration part (MBS farm). Even if it works for you, it doesn't mean that the way you have done it is correct.
    On the client side, you should always point to the client dll and not to the server dll, as the outbound enablers are the only ones who are meant to use the later one.

  • Communication Error in Nokia Mail in C3

    Hey all, I had got Nokia C3 a month ago and updated in to latest version everything was working fine till yesterday.
    At yesterday morning my Nokia Mail stop working whenever I try to open my accounts it keeps showing loading and then shows COMMUNICATION ERROR TRY AGAIN LATER.
    My all other apps are working very fine, Nokia Communities is running, all internet apps are also running but just Nokia Mail is not working.
    I tried every thing, formatted phone and card, made hard reset by *#7370#, Reset Factory Default but nothing worked

    Hi,
    If you are trying to use Wi-Fi, but without a valid SIM card, it will not work (although data can be transferred over Wi-Fi, a valid SIM card is still required for Nokia Messaging).
    Please  switch to the cellular reception with a SIM card and a valid, appropriate Operator data plan.
    If you are using cellular reception, but still can not connect, please check that the correct access point on your device. Select Menu > Settings > Configuration > Preferred access point; Choose your operator access point.
    Note: Access point name  is used to identify a general packet radio service (GPRS) bearer service in the GSM mobile network.  The Access point name defines the type of service that is provided in the packet data connection.
    How can i use always WLAN connection on my Nokia C3-00 phone for Internet instead of GPRS?
    Select Menu > Settings and Configuration > Preferred access point — View the saved access points and choose the preferred WLAN access point.
    Menu > Settings > Connectivity > WLAN > Internet Connection :Ask first
    you are asked for the connection method every time you open an application that requires an Internet connection such as Browser or Mail.
    I hope it helps.

  • Communication Error (-8).....WHAT IN THE HECK IS GOING ON???

    One night i was talking to my friend, Phil, (who also has a macbook) perfectly on iChat AV and it was wonderful. The next night i tried again and it wouldn't work with him or my non-macbook friend, Danielle, but only with a different macbook friend, Cheryl. Now I can't connect with anyone outside of my network. I have only been able to connect to my friend David (I give names so that you ar able to differentiate between who is who). However, David is currently living in my house and is therefore in my network so of course i am able to video chat with him.
    Everytime i try i get the same "communication error -8". I have tried various solutions i've found in the forums, but nothing seems to help at all. I've also noticed that A LOT of people are having this same problem and am wondering if perhaps it is a manufacturing error that started at the beginning in the factory when it was being made, but i'm probably wrong about that.
    Can anyone tell me if they no the solution to this problem?? HELP!!!!!!!!

    Please remember you gave me permission to do this.
    Ok most routers or modems have certain ports open so that it works out of the box for Web Browsing and Mail applications.
    These ports are sort of virtual and inside the device. Your computer also has them.
    So Web browsing happens on port 80 that you may have heard of. Mail can be on several for in and out purposes and for the different types of Mail accounts you can have (POP or IMAP) (port 25, 110, 995 or even 443)
    Now there are in fact 65535 of these ports. So other applications and certain different internet protocols use these ports. On line games is one reason. These can use multiple ports for one game.
    Now from there routers and modems need the ports above a certain threshold to be opened when you want to use them.
    This threshold is port 1024.
    Now how these ports are opened on different devices can vary.
    Port Forward (or a variation name like Virtual Servers or Pinholes) is the oldest and most common.
    This allows you to point one port (or sometime s a range) to a corresponding port(s) on your computer.
    An example would be to point port 1024 to port 1024 on your Computer.
    This method would only allow this to one IP (your computer) on the LAN.
    (Hence the original question - Are you doing this ?)
    There is normally a table if you need to open more ports for one Application
    Next comes DMZ (Demiltarized Zone) This is a means of opening all the ports to One IP (Computer) Not considered secure, but useful for testing. Consider it an extreme form of Port Forwarding.
    Next come Port Triggering.
    This uses One port up front so to speak that then openes other ports. It has the advantage that multiple computers can use the ports at the same time.
    Then comes UPnP (Universal Plug n Play) This gives control to the applications to open the ports when they need them. (they close after a timed period of Non use).
    Again multiple computers can use the same ports at the same time.
    Not all routers or modems that route have all methods although some do.
    Then we come on to iChat.
    This uses 29 ports (for AIM Login, File sending, Text chats, A/V chats, the Jabber side and the Bonjour side) over two protocols (total of 31 entries in some cases)
    These ports are above the 1024 threshold and some are particular as Apple has said iChat is a VoIP application.
    Most devices that route can be controlled by yourself and have default ways to access their set up pages via a web browser.
    This will involve an IP typed into the web browser which will bring up a Pop Up asking for a User ID and (Or at least ) a password.
    This site http://portforward.com/routers.htm list many devices.
    Clicking on yours and then iChat in the next page will take you to a device and application specific page.
    It is obviously then goes on about Port Forwarding settings.
    However the pages are useful for the default access info.
    Once you have gained access it is a question of checking the menus to see it does UPnP. ( It is a one stop enable/disable setting and allows multiple computers)
    Consider a router without the ports open as a hardware firewall.
    It may allow outgoing stuff giving you intermittent looking results.
    If you tell us which device you have then we can point you to a more specific solution.
    Networking in general.
    Most of these devices do what is called DHCP. It is not so important about what the name means other than it means the device gives out IP numbers (Addresses) to your computers.
    However it is not good networking to have two devices doing DHCP.
    There is more on this subject but that is enough for now.

  • Avctl start_agent: Http Communication error: 404

    Hi Experts,
    I am encountering this error when starting the agent in the AV server:
    avctl start_agent -agentname avagent1
    **Error executing task start_agent: Http Communication error: Http Communication error: 404**
    I made sure that oc4j is running in the av-client.
    I check the configuration of agent in the console and this is the entries;
    Name: avagent1
    host: msidr200
    port: 7011**
    user: DRDB1
    with regards to port, I am wondering if the the value 7011 is correct.
    My source database and my AV server database is listening both in port 1521.
    If I make the port value to 1521, this is the new error.
    **Error executing task start_agent: Http Communication error: Premature EOF encountered**

  • Receiving iChat communication error messages for only some buddies

    My son is using iChat 4.0.8 and OS 10.5.8. With some buddies he is able to chat (video and audio) without problem. With other buddies, he cannot connect by video or audio and receives a 'communication error' message -- the buddy didn't pick up. However, the buddy receives the same message. However, he CAN aim these buddies through iChat. The problem does not seem to be with these buddies however because friends can video and audio chat with them. Within his group of friends, my son is the only one having this problem, and it applies only to some of his friends. Any suggestions? I did make sure Internet Sharing was turned off but that made no difference. Thanks!

    Hi,
    iChat uses port 5190 on the TCP Protocol to do the Login and do most Text Chats.
    For AV chats iChat uses port 5678 for the Visible Invite and one from 16393-16402 to do the actual chat (No Matter which Buddy list you use).
    Now in iChat 5 (Snow Leopard) the Connection Doctor reveals an extra drop down choice of Network Status.
    This in turn reveals that iChat prefers routing devices that use the Full Cone method of doing NAT (Network Address Translation)
    Some things that can help.
    In iChat > Preferences > Accounts > Server Settings change the port to 443
    (you/he has to Log out first)
    This splits the TCP Login away form the UDP use of port 5190 that is for File Sending, Pics in Chats (Direct IMs) and some Buddy List feedback.
    This is because some modems do not seem to like iChat using the port twice (Zyxel modems are particularly bad at this but are not alone)
    Use UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) in the router (Or modem if it routes) to open the ports.

  • A communication error has occurred while invoking commands in SharePoint host process

    Hi All,
    I am using Virtual box to connect to Sharepoint 2013 VPC. Due to an unexpected sutdown of my machine the VPC got some issue. Now I restored it using my bak up file. But after this when I deploy my sharepoint 2013 farm solution Iam getting the following error.
    Error occurred in deployment step 'Recycle IIS Application Pool': A communication error has occurred while invoking commands in SharePoint host process: The server did not provide a meaningful reply; this might be caused by a contract mismatch, a premature
    session shutdown or an internal server error.
    What could be the issue? Any suggestions ?
    Thanks in advance...

    Hi Nimisha,
    Seems that the original issue of communication error has been solved, for this new issue, it is recommended that you open a new thread which can make others easier
    to focus on one issue in one single thread.
    Best regards,
