Excel OLE hide sheet
Hi,
Is it possible to hide a sheet from an Excel.
I'm creating an Excel with multiple sheets. One of them has a number of datatables placed on it, and these tables I'm using to draw graphs on another sheet.
I don't want the user to see this sheet, but of course it needs to exist, since it's holding the data for the graphs. I would like to hide the sheet with the datatables from the user. Is this possible?

I have a PivotChart linked to a SharePoint list which I am displaying in a SharePoint page using the Excel Web Access web part.
The Excel file does not display sheet tabs (there is only one sheet) as I have set the option to hide sheet tabs in this workbook. However Excel Web Access displays a navigation bar below the chart with the sheet tab showing. I can't find an option in the

Did the Excel Web Access Web Part add and connect to the Excel file before you hide sheets for the Excel file?
If so, please delete the Excel Web Access Web Part and add a new one, then the hidden sheets will not show any more.

to hide a column... select the column(s) to hide
once you have selected the columns, hover the cursor over any one of the selected column headers. Once the down arrow appears, click the sown arrow to expose the contextual menu for the column(s). Select "Hide Selected Columns" (second from the last item) -

Hi All,
Iam extracting data from al11 and putting that data into xls using ole. Now when i try to open that file it is not opening.
i dont want to display xls directly but i want to save it to a local drive and open it later .
For this purpose i had written a code as

visible set to 0 because i dont want to open data in xls after just executing my report.

To download the file in specified location.
When i try to open after downloading its not getting opened. One more thing is if i open any other XL Sheet in my local machine then this ole XL Sheet is getting opened.

Report printing in excel with multiple sheets
Hi Experts,
I am working in Oracle Reports 10g. I need to print the report in Excel....
For this i have created .JSP file and now printing in Excel(Sheet1).
My requirement is i need to print the report in multiple sheets.
For example if i run the departments report then the generated excel file should be as below
(Sheet1 - HR, Sheet2 - FINANCE, Sheet3 - MARKETING, etc.,)

I am using Oraclereports 10g version, i know desformat=spreadsheet will create single worksheet with out pagination, but my requirment is like the output should be generated in .xls file, and each worksheet will have both data and graphs.
rdf paperlayout format will not workout for generating multiple worksheets.
Is it possible to create multiple worksheets by using .jsp weblayout(web source) in oracle reports10g. If possible please provide me some examples

Opening Linked Excel OLE Objects in Forms 6i
Hi,
I have a linked Excel OLE object which is populating properly into an OLE container. However, I cannot open the file to save a local copy, as I would a non-linked Excel OLE object. If I right-click on the linked OLE object choose copy, I can paste the data into a spreadsheet, but it appears as an image, rather than as regular tabulated data. Is there anyway to open the file normally?

Import Excel with mutiples sheets into Oracle
Hi,
I got a few questions here, I did some google-ing but I would like get clarifications:
1. In order to make Excel "talks" to Oracle with External Table, do I need to convent the Excel file into .csv?
2. Apparently my Excel has mutiple sheets (20+), do I need to save each sheet individually as 1 single .csv before they "talk"?
(sounds like it...but I "hope" there is another way...-_-)
3. I am using TOAD and the tool "Import Table Data" can read .xls and .xlsx directly, however I will have to do 20+ times for each sheet... beside that, is there any other quicker way to read the Excel files?
(even if I use External Tables I have might have to save each sheet into a .cvs for 20+ times...-_-)

Crystal Report:Export to Excel in multiple sheets
Hi Members,
Does any one know how to export Crystal Report to Excel in multiple sheets in the same Excel workbook.
Suppose I have report grouped by Designation as Managers,Tech Leads,Team Leads,Senior Developers etc. Now I want to export to Excel in multiple sheets as Sheet1-Managers,Sheet2-Tech Leads,-Sheet3-Team Leads,Sheet4-Senior Developers etc.
Is there any possibility in Crystal Report event or CrystReportViewer?
If not then is then workaround to achieve this feature without using Excel COM object.

In order to achieve your requirement, we can use a list to contain the matrix, then add a page break between each instance of the column group. For more details, please refer to the following steps:
Drag a list to contain the matrix, and the set the dataset of the list to current dataset.
In the Row Groups pane, right-click the Details group to add a group grouped on the expression below:
=IIF(Fields!column_group_field.Value="LOAN",”LOAN”,”Others”)
Click the Details group to navigate to Properties Windows.
Expand the PageBreak group to set the BreakLocation property to Between.
Use the same expression to set the PageName property:
=IIF(Fields!column_group_field.Value="LOAN",”LOAN”,”Others”)
Then the yellow marked column and green marked columns will be in two sheets in Excel.

Autocad 2010 drawing pasted in microsoft excel 2007 spread sheet not visible after converting excel
Hello, I am having an issue with Autocad 2010 drawings not showing up in a pdf document. Normally, I cut and paste part of an Autocad 2010 drawing into a Microsoft Excel 2007 spread sheet. Then, using Adobe Distiller, I convert the Excel spread sheet into a pdf document for propriatary purposes. However, recently the drawing pasted into Excel will not fully appear on the pdf, the drawing is cut off past a certain point. The drawing will print normally in Excel, but in pdf will not print normally. If the drawing is shrunk below the "cut off" point, it appears normally. If the drawing is expanded above the "cut off" point, any additional image is lost. Any suggestions on how to fix the problem would be appreciated.

Truncation of leading Zeros when Down Loading into Excel - OLE Objects

Can any one help me on this.
I am using <b>OLE Objects</b> to download Data into Excel Sheet. Data with leading Zeros is getting truncated in Excel.
Ex: Report Output is showing Plant Number as 0002. But when i am downloading to Excel Plant value will become 2 .
I would like to have it as 0002 in Excel.
I have declared Werks as CHAR of 4.I am using OLE Obects for Downloading into Excel Sheet.
I am using "OLE2_OBJECT" I can not use any other FMs to down load to Excel.As i am modifying this program not creating.

While downloading to excel sheet, u need to change the number format of cell from General to Text, then leading zero's won't get deleted. For that u need to set the property of the cell. Please check this sample code,

How do I hide sheets in Numbers?

I'm using a Macbook Pro running Yosemite 10.10.2I suggest dragging the least used sheets to the right. There is no way to hide a sheet.
