Can any one solve this problem............

Hi,
mass data and XML is a known issue. To process such data the complete DOM is built in memory by MII. If you want to fight this issue with
resources the only chance you have is that you use x64 Windows Server für MII with several GB for the JVM. Typically you could try to give
the JVM a heap size of 3GB/4GB (keep increasing till it works :-). Though this is architectural not a nice solution, so you should send, for
example, the message zipped and base64 encoded. This message could then be received by MII and saved to a file. Decoding and dezipping
this file should be done on file system such that a decoded and dezipped file is created. Then you can process this file with a custom action.
Remember that you will face the same resource problems in your custom action. The solution is to use an event driven parser like SAX to parse
the file and do the inserts in JDBC batch mode. With this procedure you can guarantee that a fixed amount of memory is used when parsing
a big XML file.
Good luck,
Matthias

    It sounds like the LifeProof case may have leaked.  Did you pay for the Waterproof protection?  If so, you can file a claim with lifeproof, pay the deductable, and get a replacement.
    If you didn't purchase the Waterproof guarantee, if you have Applecare Plus, $79.00 will get you a replacement.  If you don't have AppleCare Plus, then this is a $269.00 replacement lesson.

    Hi,
    First question, why have you posted this to the AQ forum? It is more of a PL/SQL question.
    However, in response - how do you know that NO_DATA_FOUND is actually occurring? How are thes package variables declared?
    Can you upload the contents of this package ? MyPackage.Load_Context_1(355271);
    I don't like the use of the word NULL - it leads to mass confusion, the word should mean what it means to Oracle, there are several other ways of acheiving this which I think would be better practice, for instance - it would be much betetr to have these variables returned as OUT parameters from the procedure rather than package level variables.
    Thanks

    It says in the documentation of the weblogic server that: if the jndi is

    And that is ok for me. But insted i get this exception that interupts the
    list retreiving. And if i just catch this exception an just continue or
    start again, it comes over and over.
    the code that does this, is like this:
    InitialContext context = new InitialContext(env);
    NamingEnumeration list = context.listBindings("sid");
    Vector copy = new Vector(10000,1000);
    log("Initiating copy of JNDI list!");
    try
    while (list.hasMore())
    copy.addElement(list.next());
    catch (Exception e)
    log("Copying interupted:" + e.toString());
    How can i solve this ?
    Is it a configuration of the server problem ?
    Are ther other ways of retreiving the list ?

    Be carefull - you read Object two times, so if you
    have only one object you will get null after second
    reading, and NullPointerException as a result if you
    try to do smth with null.
    Wrong:
    while( inputFromServlet1.readObject() != null)
    Object o = inputFromServlet1.readObject();Previous man example is also wrong because you
    cannot declare anything in while
    Sorry for this one... I certainly must have spent too much time on these fora ;-)
    Thanks for the correction, by the way...
    Correct:
    Object o;
    while( (o = inputFromServlet1.readObject()) != null)
    String str = (String)o;
    System.out.println("Got Object");

  • Class cast exception when trying to get a control on the "Wave" mixer

    I am trying to get a control over the level of the Wave mixer. I can get the master, but I need a bit finer control than that. I think I have one, and it compiles, but I get a classCast exception at runtime:

    if (mixer.isLineSupported(Port.Info.SPEAKER))
    System.out.println(info.getName() + " supports a speaker");
    lineOut = (Port) mixer.getLine(Port.Info.SPEAKER);
    lineOut.open();
    Control[] controls = lineOut.getControls();
    System.out.println("Supported controls on the speaker:");

    if (control.getType().toString().contains("Wave") || control.getType().toString().contains("WAVE")||control.getType().toString().contains("wave")){
    volumeControl = (FloatControl)controls[j];
    break volumeSearch;
    I get the class cast exception when I try to get the control at :volumeControl = (FloatControl)controls[j];
    volumeControl is declared earlier in the class as a FloatControl.
    Any tips?

    Hey guys, thanks for replying to my post!
    Here's the rub: I am able to use the method you are describing, but it gives me control over the wrong mixer.
    On the main mixer, it gives me control over the "Master" volume, which means that in addition to the wave output, it also controls every other output simultaneously, such as the Mic output. I am trying to get control of the "Wave" output. When adjusting the Wave out, it only effects digital audio output, but leaves the analog outputs (like the Mic volume) alone.
    Now, when I call the complete method:
        private void initVolumeControl()
            Port lineOut;
            FloatControl vol;
            Mixer mixer;
            Mixer.Info[] mixerInfo = AudioSystem.getMixerInfo();
            try
                volumeSearch:
                for (int i = 0; i < mixerInfo.length; i++)
                    Mixer.Info info = mixerInfo;
    mixer = AudioSystem.getMixer(info);
    System.out.println("info.getName() = " + info.getName());
    if (mixer.isLineSupported(Port.Info.SPEAKER))
    System.out.println(info.getName() + " supports a speaker");
    lineOut = (Port) mixer.getLine(Port.Info.SPEAKER);
    lineOut.open();
    At this point, if I wanted to control the master volume, I would get the volume control over
    the main mixer here
    by calling
    vol = (FloatControl) lineOut.getControl(FloatControl.Type.VOLUME);
    But the problem is that gives me control over the main, and not the wave volume.
    So, on the "lineOut", let's query it for all of the different controls available
    Control[] controls = lineOut.getControls();
    System.out.println("Supported controls on the speaker:");
    for (int j = 0; j < controls.length; j++)
    Control control = controls[j];
    System.out.println("\tcontrol.toString() = " + control.toString());
    System.out.println("\tcontrol.getType() = " + control.getType());
    if (control.getType().toString().contains("Wave") || control.getType().toString().contains("WAVE") || control.getType().toString().contains("wave"))
    volumeControl = (FloatControl)control;
    break volumeSearch;
    } catch (Exception e)
    System.err.println("There was an error while trying to get a volume control");
    e.printStackTrace();
    And my output from this is:info.getName() = Primary Sound Driver
    info.getName() = Realtek HD Audio output
    info.getName() = Primary Sound Capture Driver
    info.getName() = Realtek HD Audio Input
    info.getName() = Java Sound Audio Engine
    info.getName() = Port Realtek HD Audio output
    Port Realtek HD Audio output supports a speaker
    Speaker volume = 0.5000076
    Supported controls on the speaker:
    control.toString() = Volume with current value: 0.5000076 (range: 0.0 - 1.0)
    control.getType() = Volume
    control.toString() = Balance with current value: 3.0517345E-5 (range: -1.0 - 1.0)
    control.getType() = Balance
    control.toString() = Mute Control with current value: false
    control.getType() = Mute
    control.toString() = Wave Control containing Volume, Balance, and Mute Controls.
    control.getType() = Wave
    but I also get the exception:There was an error while trying to get a volume control
    java.lang.ClassCastException: com.sun.media.sound.PortMixer$CompCtrl
    at audiotools.AudioPlayer.initVolumeControl(AudioPlayer.java:236)
    at audiotools.AudioPlayer.<init>(AudioPlayer.java:102)

    at gui.windowmanager.WindowManager.run(WindowManager.java:208)
    at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:595)
    So, as you can see, when I query the line that supports SPEAKER, it says it has an additional item (Mixer? Line?) called "Wave Control" that also has it's own Volume, Balance and Mute controls.
    I need to get the Volume control associated with the "Wave", not the one associated with the "Master". The Master provides too general of a control on the system mixer.

    However if I change to the following :
    try{readfile()};
    catch (Exception e) {}
    The code works fine. I am still figuring out on throwing exceptions etc. But how come I already throw exceptions it still complains exception not declared?
    Thanks and Rgds

    but the writefile() function which I called in the
    read() also throw exception but how come I do not need
    to catch it for the write()?The error message says it all: must be caught or declared to be thrown. Thus, you must either catch the exception using try-catch or you must declare that your method throws the exception using the throws declaration.
    Your call to writefile() is in the method readfile() that already declares that it throws Exception. So there is no problem there.
    BTW, you should know that it is generally ill-advised to catch or declare exception using the superclass Exception. You should use as specific an exception class as possible. In this case I suppose it would be IOException.

  • Exception in declarative section to propagating in PL/SQL Block

    Hi All, I have a requirement to send emails to some receipient whenever there is an error in a process. The is working untill the put a wrong database link in the parameter, the cursor is in declarative statement, hence when other exception does not work, create and enclosing block around the initial block so that the exception can propagate to the enclosing block, but this does not work either, please advice. Below is the a brief pseudo code. The bold is the initial block. Please advice.

    where 1 =1;
    */*Because the error is in the cursor select, no email is been sent, that was the reason I put an enclosing block, but the exception is not propagate either */*
    BEGIN
    OPEN C1;
    FETCH C1 into c_test;
    CLOSE C1;

    it is not a dynamic sql. Your description is not very clear about what is code and what is pseudo code, but if you are using substitution variables in sqlplus, then that is dynamic SQL.
    sqlplus scans for substitution variables, prompts when needed, replaces the variable (substitutes) with the text input and passes the entire result to the database for validation.
    If the substitution text input results in an invalid PL/SQL block then a compilation error is returned from the database. The PL/SQL cannot be compiled, it never runs, no run time exceptions are possible.
    So you cannot use exceptions to detect errors in values input to substitution variables.

    Thank yoiu guys for helping me : this my very first jsf application

    Hello,
    Like you said it was the problem with url.
    The webservice I used is actually running on the local machine (where the NetWeaver developer studio is installed); so in the url I had specified localhost. But I deployed the application on another server(SAP J2EE Engine). That is why it didn't work. On changing the url as required, the application is working fine.
    Thanks !
    Regards,
    Loveline.

    Does these two problems connected? What can we do in order to solve it?Hi. The problems are not directly related, but may have the same cause.
    Something is killing your DBMS connections out from under the driver.
    Do you have a firewall between WLS and the DBMS, or a flakey network?
    Contact BEA support to get the 8.1sp2 patch for getting meaningful
    connection leak traces (CR209251_81sp2.jar). When that patch is installed
    the leak messages should show a full stack trace of the application code
    where the connection was obtained. It is that application code that
    somehow failed to close the pool connection, causing a pool leak. I
    suspect that the application code got an unexpected exception, such as
    when/if the DBMS/network/firewall killed a connection. In this case I
    believe the application went through an exception-handling path that
    forgot to close the connection.

    From your error, maybe your profile parameter for alert message server is not properly configured:
    I just came cross a post elaborating alerting configuration from Aashish Sinha, hope it helps,
    Liang
    =====Post from Aashish Sinha=======
    Prerequisites
    The following prerequisites have to be met in order to use the Alert Management (ALM):
    · For using the Alert Inbox (BSP based display program of ALM), the corresponding service has to be activated in the service maintenance transaction SICF. Choose Default_host ? sap ? bc ? bsp ? sap ? alert inbox, and Activate in the context menu.
    · For customizing or administration of the Alert Management the corresponding authorization role has to be assigned. The end users do not need any additional authorization.
    · The central alert server must be maintained as an RFC destination in transaction SM59 in the local system. If there is no suitable user, you have to create a user for the RFC connection in the central alert system in transaction SU01. To make this RFC destination known as the RFC destination of the Alert Management System in the local system, the central alert server must also be selected as the RFC destination in transaction SALRT1 of the local system or in Settings ? RFC-Destination of Alert Server.
    If the central alert server is running on the local system in the same client, you do not have to maintain an RFC destination. In this case, you can simply enter NONE in transaction SALRT1.
    · If external communication types, such as e-mail, SMS, and fax are used, these communication types must be correctly configured in SAPconnect, because the alerts are then sent from the central alert system via SAPconnect.
    Process Flow
    The following describes the process flow from alert configuration (transaction ALRTCATDEF) to alert display and confirmation (for example in the alert inbox transaction ALRTINBOX):
    1. Optional: You can define alert classifications. These are useful to group alert categories. For example, you can create an alert classification CRM that contains alert categories referring to CRM. Alert classifications can now have subclassifications. This enables you to build up your own classification hierarchy. Especially, if you use the Alert Mangement (ALM) extensively, classification and subclassification help you to organize your ALM alert landscape and to have a clear overview.
    2. For different types of alerts you have to define different categories. The category contains various properties and other specifications that define the alerts within that category, for example expiry date, or the escalation recipient. You can define an alert category to suit your business requirements and assign the category to the corresponding classification. For example, for the alert classification CRM you can create the alert categories Contract Cancelled and Decrease in Sales. When the critical situation defined in the alert category arises, the system recognizes this and sends an alert instance of this category to the recipients determined. The alerts can always be found in the display programs configured for the recipient (UWL, application-specific program, or alert inbox). Additionally, the alerts are sent via eventual external communication channels, such as e-mail, sms, or fax.
    3. You have to determine recipients so that the Alert Management knows who the recipients of alerts of a particular category are and that the correct parties are informed.
    4. You can configure the way how alerts are processed. For the general use of the Alert Management you do not have to change the default settings. However, if for example you want to send alerts to third-party systems, or to be able to confirm alerts by SMS/Internet mail, or to have logs written, then you have to configure alert processing.
    5. There is a number of Alert Management administration reports that you must schedule according to your requirements. For example, report RSALERTPROC must be executed in order to enable escalation.
    6. Alerts of a particular category must be triggered by an application at runtime. Triggering alerts can be done in various ways. You can call a function module directly or use middleware components that trigger alerts, such as the Business Object Repository (BOR), Post Processing Framework (PPF), SAP Workflow, or CCMS.
    7. Recipients can view the alerts assigned to them in the UWL of Enteprise Portal, in application-specific display programs, or in the alert inbox. In addition, alerts can be received as e-mail, SMS, or fax, if these external communication channels are configured in SAPconnect.
    8. If the problem causing the alert is solved by a recipient, the recipient can confirm the alert, this means its status is changed and it will not be delivered, escalated, or displayed anymore. Alerts are generally confirmed by the recipient in the display program, such as the UWL or Alert Inbox. However, if an alert is sent by Internet mail or SMS message, it is also possible to confirm it by sending an Internet mail or SMS message back to the SAP system. Alert Management uses inbound processing for this.
    Hope this will help you.

  • Exception when running WLST in Eclipse - Please Help!!!

    Hello,
    I am trying to get get a WLST online connection via a java class, but I am getting an exception when trying to connect to an admin server instance:

    <br>
    <br>
    I am basically trying to run the following WLST command in java:
    <b>connect('weblogic','weblogic','t3://localhost:7201')</b>
    <br>
    <br>
    Here is the java block that I call to create the connection with the WLSTIterpreter:
    <br>
    <br>
    <b>StringBuffer buffer = new StringBuffer();
    buffer.append("connect('weblogic','weblogic','t3://localhost:7201')\n");     System.out.println(buffer.toString());
    <br>
    INTERPRETER.exec(buffer.toString());</b>
    <br>
    <br>
    My admin server is running at this address and the CompatabilityMBeanServer is enabled. The strange thing this is that I am able to run the WLST via the command line and the connection is successful with no problems. This leads me to believe that there is something wrong with my classpath/environment that I have setup in Eclipse but I am not sure.
    Any ideas on where I went wrong??? Please help!
    Thanks :)
    PS. I am running WebLogic 9.1 and java 150_06

  • Null pointer exception when running OAF page

    Hi
    I am getting null pointer exception when i execute the code below.
    OAApplicationModule am = oapagecontext.getRootApplicationModule();
    OAApplicationModuleImpl childam = (OAApplicationModuleImpl)am.findApplicationModule("QuestAnswerAM");
    oapagecontext.putDialogMessage(new OAException("PER", "XXOM_APPR_OVR_NULL_MSG"+am+childam, null, OAException.ERROR, null));
    OAViewObjectImpl VO= (OAViewObjectImpl)childam.findViewObject("QuestDetailsVO") ;
    OAViewRowImpl Dff1Row = (OAViewRowImpl)VO.getCurrentRow();
    quest = Dff1Row.getAttribute("LastUpdateDate");
    I later commented out the last 3 lines and used the code below to track the application module name.
    OAApplicationModule am = oapagecontext.getRootApplicationModule();
    OAApplicationModuleImpl childam = (OAApplicationModuleImpl)am.findApplicationModule("QuestAnswerAM");
    oapagecontext.putDialogMessage(new OAException("PER", "XXOM_APPR_OVR_NULL_MSG"+am+childam, null, OAException.ERROR, null));
    When i run the page i am getting this error:
    Message not found. Application: PER, Message Name: XXOM_APPR_OVR_NULL_MSGoracle.apps.per.selfservice.appraisals.server.AppraisalsAMImpl@2982bfnull.
    the above error indicates that the Root application module is AppraisalsAMImpl.
    But the view i need that is QuestDetailsVO exists in a child AM that is QuestAnswerAM. However in the above diag message as you can see it returns child AM to be null.
    When i click on About this page it clearly says that the QuestDetailsVO exists in QuestAnswerAM
    Please help
    Thanks
    Ashish

    Hi
    Thanks for the quick response.
    I am fine with the error message:
    Message not found. Application: PER, Message Name: XXOM_APPR_OVR_NULL_MSGoracle.apps.per.selfservice.appraisals.server.AppraisalsAMImpl@2982bfnull.
    I am getting message not found becos I have registered only XXOM_APPR_OVR_NULL_MSG and am displaying '+am+childam' also in the exception which is not associated with the registered message.
    See below.
    oapagecontext.putDialogMessage(new OAException("PER", "XXOM_APPR_OVR_NULL_MSG"+am+childam, null, OAException.ERROR, null));
    I am fine with that. My concern is in the error above for 'am' part i am getting the root appl module name. but for childam i am getting null
    Message not found. Application: PER, Message Name: XXOM_APPR_OVR_NULL_MSGoracle.apps.per.selfservice.appraisals.server.AppraisalsAMImpl@2982bf*null*.
    See the high lighted.
    I will look into the current row returning -1 issue and get back to you./
    Thanks

  • Exception condition "INVALID PARAM VERB: TEXTSTREAM" raised.

    Hi,
    I am getting The error "Exception condition "INVALID PARAM VERB: TEXTSTREAM" raised." when we got to va03, GOTO->HEADER->TEXTS-> Double click on "Internal Order Comments".
    Dump:
    The termination occurred in the ABAP program "SAPLOLEA" in

    Any body has any idea on this issue?

    Hi,
    The dump comes in FM: 'AC_FLUSH_CALL_INTERNAL'  when it tries to call,
    CALL FUNCTION 'OLE_FLUSH_CALL'  DESTINATION OLE_DESTINATION
             EXPORTING IMPORT_XML      = XML_DATA_STRING
                       SVARS           = SVARS
             IMPORTING EXPORT_XML      = XML_DATA_STRING
                       EXCEPT_DESCRIPT = OLE_MESSAGE

                        RFC_QUEUE_FAILED    = 5
                        XML_DATA_FAILED     = 6.
    OLE_DESTINATION = "SAPGUI"
    It is working fine for "Special Picking Instruction" but not working for "Internal Order Comments".
    More over for other orders everything is working fine. and even in Test system everything is working fine.

    Hi,
    I'm getting Wrong number of parameters exception when using a prepared statement. It's very weird. The code is:

    myps = Conn.prepareStatement(sqlstmt);
    myps.setString(1, p1);
    myps.setInt(2, p2);
    myps.executeUpdate(sqlstmt);
    The error is:

    Hi and thanks for the reply.
    Actually this is the try block...
    The variable's defintions are correct.
    PreparedStatement myps;
    try {
    sqlstmt="update blah1 set blah2=? where blah3=?";
    myps = Conn.prepareStatement(sqlstmt);
    myps.setString(1, blah4);
    myps.setInt(2, blah5);
    myps.executeUpdate(sqlstmt);
    catch (SQLException e) {
    System.out.println("SQLException: " + e.getMessage() + ":" + e.getSQLState());
    blah6++;
