Exchange 2007 - error 12014

Microsoft Exchange couldn't find a certificate that contains the domain name mail.mydomain.net in the personal store on the local computer. Therefore, it is unable to offer the STARTTLS SMTP verb for any connector with a FQDN parameter of mail.fcc-inc.net.
Verify the connector configuration and the installed certificates to make sure that there is a certificate with a domain name for every connector FQDN
the sendconnector is using a self-signed cert.
i have a CA cert for OWA and mobile.
Can i use the CA cert for the sendconnector too? will the error be removed? but i do not use TLS.
when i run get-exchangeserver, i can only see the self-signed cert
how can i assign to sendconnector?   Thanks a lot.

Try: Get-ExchangeCertificate | fl
Do you see the CA issued certificate?
What services are mentioned for this certificate (it should include SMTP - and apparently IIS since you say you use it for OWA). For example:
Services    : IMAP, POP, IIS, SMTP
EDIT: yes, there will be other properties listed as well... including the thumbprint you can use below.

This should work (SMTP is what you need).
Enable-ExchangeCertificate -Thumbprint 5113ae0233a72fccb75b1d0198628675333d010e -Services POP,IMAP,SMTP,IIS
Obviously, you will use *your* thumbprint instead.
EDIT: IMAP and POP are optional. Often included in examples, they can be omitted if you do not use them. It will not really hurt anything if they are included either.
