Exchange rates in BPS layouts

Is it possible to display current exchange rate in bps layouts?
The function of conversion works good, but user wants to see the rate, wich is used in convesrsion.

Hello Estay,
please follow the procedure to display the exchange rates in the layout (in excel only) .
Create a Function Module in Se80 where you would call the inbuilt function to get the exchange rates. Call this FM
CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_EXCHANGERATE_GETDETAIL'
      EXPORTING
        rate_type  =
        from_curr  =
        to_currncy =
        date       =
      IMPORTING
        exch_rate  = w_xrtype.
Supply the export values to the Function module and obtain the exchange rate values. Now use the following code to display the exchange rate values in the layout.
*Define where you want to display the values on the excel sheet (row, column).
    range-row = 7.
    range-column = 25.
    size of rectangle
    range-rows = 1.
    range-columns = 1.
    APPEND range TO et_dimension.
    add content: To the Layout.
    content-column = 1.
    content-row = 1.
content-value =  here place the exchange rate values.
    APPEND content TO et_contents.
Now in the Third screen of the configuration of the layouts ,tyoe lb_exit _fm in the transaction code window on the top. This gives you two option wiht wirte layout FM and read layout FM.In the Write FM  give the name of the FM you built above and save.Nowe when you run the layout this code gets executed and  the rates would get displayed.
hope this helps

  • Exclude exchange rate JEs from Customer Statement layout

    Hello
Our customer is using the Customer Statement from the Aging report. On the layout he can see manual JEs which should be excluded from the statement that is sent to the customer ; for example u2013 exchange rate JEs.
Do you know of a way to exclude those transactions, or manual JEs from this report?
    Thanks in advance

  • Mass update exchange rate type (not rate) in open sales orders

    Hi all,
Our requirement is to update the exchange rate type at sales order header (VBAK-KURST) for all open sales orders with a new type created. (Z001). This field does not appear in MASS transaction for sales orders despite being present in the structure MASSSDHEAD.
This field cannot be located even in VA02 transaction (I am not sure if standard SAP masks or shows this field at header; I also can't find any transaction variants assigned).
Can anyone suggest how this field can be updated for sales orders either individually or in mass mode.
    Regards,
    KC
    SAP SD

You are correct in indicating that Exchange rate type field  is not seen in Header data of sales order. I checked screen layouts for various screens for sales order data and this field is not suppressed. The only reason could be that this field is not used in sales order screens
If you are interested, you could also check in the following way
    1.  Go to SE11, enter database table as VBAK
    2. Once inside data dictionary table, click where used list button, select programs and screens and execute
    3. click continue (don't select background)
    4. now you would have list of programs and screens, this table is used
    5.  now start another session and go to transaction SE51
    6. indicate program name as SAPMV45A and screen numbers as listed in step 4. you can check all screen numbers to see whether Exchange rate type field is listed in sales order layout.
    7. Of particular interest would be screen number 4311 as this contains  Financial accounting data & 4303 Billing data
    8. you can check screen layout for screen 4311 & 4303. you would see Exchange rate type field is not indicated.
    9. in case you could find this field in any screen, you could ask your ABAP consultant to add this field in the layout screen.
    Hope this answers your question

  • How to Display Exchange Rate in ME23N

    Hello SAP Gurus,
    We are using 4.6C.
We can change or display the exchange rate of a PO in ME22N but unable to display the exchange rate in ME23N.
In Transaction OMF4 (Define Screen Layout) I don't see field selection key ME23N to select the exchange rate as display.
Could you please advise how can I display the exchange rate in ME23N.
    Points will be awarded.
    Thanks for you help.
    Karen - USA

    Hi Volkan,
    Thanks for the answer.
I followed your instructions and got the field selection key for the document type.
I'm using document type NB and the field selection key for this document is NBF.
I selected the NBF field selection key and selected the Terms and delivery payment. All the entries in optional column were checked. (With these setting I was able to change the exchange rate with ME22N transaction.)
    I did following change.
I only uncheck the exchange rate from optional column and checked in display column.
When I ran transaction ME23N to display the exchange rate, it did not display. Instead exchange rates are display only in change mode (ME22N). I reversed the change back to optional column. Exchange rate is changeable again in ME22N.
It looks very straight forward configuration but in my case I'm not able to display the exchange rate by doing this configuration.
    Please Help.
    Thanks,
    Karen

  • 'Exchange rate Fixed'  ticked by default in PO [Me21N]

    HI
The requirement is to tick 'Exchange rate Fixedu2019 at PO header for all PO's as default for specific plant/Company code
Screen selection layout can be defined at PO Document type level, is it possible to check this 'fixed indicator at plant level screen layout?
last option we can think of is making this indicator ticked as default for users[buyers]
    Please suggest

    Hi sasibhushan334 ,
In standard system it is not possible to set the field 'Exch rate fixed'
(EKOO-KUFIX) in Me21N by default. You would need a modification to
change this. In OMF4 you can see for the field selection group
"Terms of delivery and payment" there is no entry for "fixed indicator"
or field EKKO-KUFIX. This is because there is no entry in table
T162X for FAUGR = 2 or "Terms of delivery and payment". So this
has to be always set manually if desired.
However, in OMF4 You can make the selection of the exchange fix
indicator mandatory by clicking the currency and exchange rate as reqd
entry within 'Terms of delivery and payment',it will enforce the
user to tick the PO exchange rate indicator in ME21n during PO
    creation.
    Hope you find this useful.
    Adam.

  • Exchange rate and PO printing form

    Hi Experts
I hale problem with PO printing form.
I have to add one field to layout. Itu2019s exchange rate. We have price condition defined in inforecord  in USD. This price is change to local currency, and based on this system calculated value of the item, and pots it to EKPO-NETPR.
I know that exchange rate is visible in deep structure DOC-XTKOMV[1]-KKURS when function module ME_PRINT_PO of printing program is execute.
I think then it should be moved to KOMVD, when item data are printed, but when I add to form &KOMVD-KKURS& itu2019s printing nothing.
Why exchange rate is not print?  How to stop debugger when system try to fulfilled variable &KOMVD-KKURS& ?
    Thanks
    Pawel

In EKKO-WKURS I have always value 1.0 because document currency is locals. Foreign currency is only in price condition value.
So the question is still open...

  • - How to Check Exchange Rate History -

    Hi,
Is anybody knows the name of the "exchange rate history table", for I would like to check which user have modify the rate, in which I can't check it in change log. Thanks for your help and time.
    Cheers,
    serene

    Dear,
It is the sytem current behaviors that "show history function" doesn't work for Exchange Rates and index window.
But You could run the Financials > Exchange Rate Differences report to check the difference.
In the Selection Criteria, set Execution Date 01/08 and
select used Currency. The Exchange Rate Differences window will show the difference for each BPs and Accounts, to double click the one line, Line Details will show the all transactions for each account.
There are some differences if the transaction use old exchange rate (such as 0.1234) since we have the current exchange rate (such as 0.1238)
If the transaction use the new exchange rate 0.1238, then the difference will show as 0.
Wish the information could solve your issue.

Can you please tell me how to block a user not to change/over right the system exchange rate during any document posting? is it is possible at all in standard SAP? or do we need any development.
    Thank you in advance.

    Hi all,
I need to change the Kurrf (exchange rate) for VF01 and Vf02 as enable.
Can u please suggest me how can i do this.
    Regards
    Madhu

    Hi Madhu,
    there are two options here.
One is by using the SHD0 T.Code by entering the valid values in the screen variant.
Second one is Press F1 on the field and check for technical information.
Check the program name and screen number.
Goto T.Code SE51,enter the program name and screen number in that.
Check the layout and in the field you requested there you can find in the layout.
Click on the field and go to attributes where you can make it as editable or inputtable text box.

  • GR/IRclearing in MR11 in case of exchange rate difference

    Hi Gurus,
My client has got one issue on GR/IR clearing thru MR11.
There is one PO with IR happend first( lets say on 01/01/2008) and then GR on 15/01/2008 . on the same day of GR , there is Goods return ( 15/01/2008) for complete good receitpt. Credit memo posted in next posting period ( ex. 02/02/2008) . As it is posted in different period there is exchange rate diffenence between Invoice and credit return. So when user is doing MR11 the system saying there is inconsistency for the difference amount. Thats the reason we could not able to clear that PO.
I need advice to clear the above PO in MR11.
    anyinputs on this highly appreciated.

  • How to restrict manual change to exchange rate.

    Hello
    Requirement:
Our requirement is we want to control the manual exchange rate entry(user type or otherwise) at different form e.g. AP Invoice screen,AR Invoice,GL JV.
What ever the rate defined pops up,should only be used for transactions and no scope should be given to user to change the rate.
    Process:
Our process is that We have a boundary system and we manually enter the rates daily and upload to Oracle Application by running a program interfaced with the boundary system. The rates fetched from the boundary system sits in daily rate form as spot rate.
The profile option "AR: Default Exchange Rate Type" has value "spot".
Similarly in payable option the rate given as "spot".
    Solution provided by our consultant:
We have Below clarification from the consultant Oracle team on controlling who can enter exchange rates manually vs who can not.
Pls see response for both sub ledger and general ledger transactions. An ability to limit manual exchange rate entry & view is, therefore, available in Oracle.
In Oracle, the transactions are created in subledgers and manual journals are created in General Ledger. The defaulting of exchange rate type is done separately for different subledgers. For General Ledger (creating manual journals) the control is separate.
1)For transactions originating in subledgers , for eg.Accounts Receivable, the name of the profile option is "AR: Default Exchange Rate Type" and looking at your requirement, this should be set at "Corporate" and not "User" or "Spot". Setting it at Corporate, will make the application look at the predefined corporate rates. Similarly for transactions (invoices/payments) in Accounts Payable, the defaulting can be configured through payable options.
2)For manual journals , the defaulting of exchange rate type is controlled separately. This can also be secured by definition access set which will prevent unauthorized changes to rate type.
    Questions:
1.Can we take their suggest given our process that changing the rate to corporate will restrict manual intervention of the user.
2.whether definition access set feature available in 11.5.10.2 and if so how can we configure.
3.What is the best way to restrict user from manual intervention.

    Hello.
For the mentioned forms, you can use Forms Personalization to force users to use a certain type(s) of exchange rate.
