Read from spreadsheet doesn't get all the columns

Dear users and moderator,
I am trying to get data out of a text file delimited by tabs. I would like to transfer the data into a 2D array with the "Read From Spreadsheet File" VI but it seems that only the first column is acquired.
I double-checked and the delimiter is fine. I also tryed to change the format but no effects.
Does anybody have an idea about the problem?

Hey Andrea,
like SumTumWong and billko recommended, just disconnect the tab limiter constant from the "Read From Spreadsheet File" VI to get your programm running. I receive the correct data, if I don't use the constant.
If you want to set the tab limiter by hand, right click the string constant and choose "'\' Codes Display". After that, enter "\t" into the constant again and your programm will also work like you want.

What is the simplest way to export Address Book into a spreadsheet (Numbers) and get all the information including physical address?

Can anyone help with this? I've exported the address book, but all the information does not appear. I've expanded out the columns but still don't get the home address.
Also, formatting is an issue with phone numbers. Not all phone numbers were entered the same way in the Address Book. Is there a way to change the entire column with a particular cell format?

How to get all the column values from a table source

Hi,
I have created one table source on a employee table and some customized attributes using global settings>search attributes.
Now these customized attributes mapped with the table columns through attribute mapping from the sorce tab.
Using doOracleSearch method i passed last parameter i.e. Integer array of customized attributes.
After execution of doOracleSearch method i am getting the results but customized attributes are not coming.
getCustomAttributes method returns null instead of some values.

Confirm the attributes you are asking SES for match those on the data source being searched. One thing to try is to simply tell SES to return all custom attributes for your search. Here is a snippet to build a list of all attribute IDs and pass them to your search...

Aperture sync doesn't get all the pictures?

I have an Aperture Quick Album that picks all 1-star images from the last 30 days. In Aperture, this quick album today shows 300 images. When I select it in iTunes as a synced album, it shows only 173 images.
What am I missing?

I'd suggest the Previews need to be updated - this has happened to me when I first started using AP3.

waveform graph through labview. I give the path to the Read From Spreadsheet
File tool and i connect a true constant in the "transpose" terminal. The Run
button shows me no error but all I get in my waveform graph is a x-axis

You say that you want to read data from a .xls file. You use Read From Spreadsheet File to get the data into LV.
You have mixed some things. A .xls file is NOT a spreadsheet file. It is a file which could be read by MS Excel and some other tools which have import filters for this file. Read from Spreadsheet File is not such a filter.
A spreadsheet file in the context of LV is a text file where the cells of a row are separeted by a tab and the rows are separated by a end of line.
A save thing is use Active-X automation to communicate with MS Excel. Let it load the file and read out the cells. The are examples in LV help and in the dev zone. You must have installed and licenced MS Ecxel on your target machine. Maybe someone has written such a fil
ter for LV but I don't know it.
The other way will only work if you use US local settings and the data is in one worksheet. Save the file with the extention .txt. So Excel will generate a text file of the correct format. Excel will use the regional settings of your machine. You can read in this file with Read From Spreadsheet File. Unfortunatly this will use fixed settings which are the same as for US regional settings.

Transfer Keyword doesn't getting all columns for BSEG

Hi Guys,
When i am downloading the data from SAP into Application server.I am getting all the columns into my Charatcer type final Internal table.when i am using Open data set for opening th file in Application server and using transfer keyword for transferring the data into Application server path which i mentioned.I am getting
only 60 columns for Bseg table out of 310 columns.can anybody tell me why is like that?Very urgent.

How did you know that it is tranferring only 60 columns?
You would probably have looked at AL11 transaction which can only show limited width(Some 256 chracters i guess).
But the data will be there.
To check if the data is there or not, you can read the same file from teh application server and show on a report or download to PC again.
or use CG3Y to transfer the file on the AS to the PS and see if all the columns are coming or not.

On 2/17/03 you answered my question about reading and viewing a test done last week back into Labview. I can open the "Read from Spreadsheet File.VI" in Labview and read the file "data.txt" into the VI. The data comes back into the rows & cells on the VI screen but I don't know how to open the graph to see the data as curves. I can see about a 3 x 4 array of cells at a time and the correct data is there but I want to plot it. Do I need to create a new block diagram and VI? I apologize for the vagueness of my question - I'm new at Labview.

Create a VI with a Waveform Graph on the front panel. On the block diagram, insert a Read From Spreadsheet File function. Connect the All Rows output to the Waveform Graph.

When I upload a cvs file not all the column display in the Data / Table Mapping screen

1. I have created application using Apex Data Loading wizard. There when I am trying to load data from .csv file, but not all the columns display in the "Data / Table Mapping" screen. But if I go through AQL --> Utility --> Data Workshop, there all column display in "Data / Table Mapping" page. I want to get same thing in application I created. How will get all columns display in the screen?
2. Is there any way to select target table dynamically during runtime. So that in appication we can select different target tables with different source file to load data.

Your user info says iPad. This is the OS X Numbers forum. Assuming you are using OS X… Be sure the file is named with a .csv suffix.

Cannot display all the columns

I am having this weird problem , i gave some selected columns in my select query and data displayed with the given conditions perfectly then i added some more columns , around 30 coloumns to my select query(initially i just tested by selecting 6-10 columns names) , and my report does not display data for all the columns , its just displaying the data for columns i previously selected , do i need to do something to get all the columns, is there a limit in Apex that report should display only fixed number of columns ?or do i need to refresh any where in order to adapt the changes i have made in my select query ?
i have logout and logged in , but it did'nt work..
Could any body please let me know what could be the reason for this?

Read from spreadsheet: a way to automatically continue if the file is missing? (Rather than having to push "continue")

Hi,
I'm using the "read from spreadsheet file.vi" to read in data from a file that may or may not be present. The data isn't required - it's optional data; nice to have but not everybody will use it.
Of course, if the file isn't present, I get an "Error 7 occurred at Open File+.vipen File", and I have the choice of pushing either the "Continue" or "Stop" button. What I'm wondering is: is there a way to just have LabVIEW automatically continue if the file is missing? Perhaps it could alert the user to the missing file, but continue anyway? Normally I'd handle this by wiring the Error output of the function to an error indicator. But the "read from spreadsheet file.vi" function doesn't appear to have an error output.
I think my description of my question is sufficient, but I'm attaching a snippet of my LabVIEW code that shows the read from spreadsheet file function in question, and the error I get when the file is missing.

Is there any REST API to get all the Site and site Collections from Sharepoint Online

Hi,
I have one SharePoint Online tenant. We are using REST API to integrate SharePoint to our internal System.
For my use case I need to get all the SharePoint sites ans Sitecollections. From each SiteCollection I need all the subsites under this.
I have used below REST Query
http://<Base site url>/_api/web
This doesn't give me all the Site collections
Could any one please give me some way to get all the Site collections and sites from my sharepoint tenant through REST API.

There seems no such endpoint in SharePoint REST API can retrieve a list of site collections in a SharePoint Online tenant:

Get all the values from a multiple select in a multipart form

Hi there!
I am using a form with enctype="multipart/form-data" in order to upload files from the form.
I have read this page: http://commons.apache.org/fileupload/using.html and everything works well for my form.
The only problem is that I can't get all the values from a "multiple select" html object. I get only one value.
Using servlets I have used this method:
public java.lang.String[] getParameterValues(java.lang.String name) But now I have enctype="multipart/form-data" in my form and I can't use this way...
Is there a way to get all the values of a multi-valued parameter?
