Execute Button in table control

Hi All,
can any one tell me how to insert the execute button in the table control because my requirement is for every row in the table control i have to use the execute button to call and execute custom program in the background.

Only one user-command is enough to handle table control entries.To identify in which line of table control, the execute button is clicked, Use the following calculation.
Data:v_line type i.
CASE ok_code.
WHEN 'EXE'.
Get cursor line v_line.
v_index = tc-top_line + v_line - 1. -
> TC - Table control name
Read table it_ekpo index v_index.
ENDCASE.

Hi,
I dont think that pushbuttons will be of much use as when you click a button same code will be executed all time.
So, you can take either selection column in table control (use the SELCOL in the table attributes)
or you can also take a checkbox in table control and then can perform action on lines which were selected by the user.

Grouping Of radio Buttons in table Control

Hi All,
I have one problem in my table control.I am using some radio buttons in the table control.I want that in one row only one button is selected.I have grouped them.But iam not getting mutual exclusivity row wise.Infact I am getting it column wise i.e i am not able to select more than one button in one column but i can select multiple buttons in one row.
Please suggest.

when iam clicking create button, The table control

In a PBO module of the screen, ypu have to write a code to find out the number of lines of the internal table used for the table control.
The code for this would be.
DESCRIBE TABLE tb_line LINES lin.   * 'tb_line' is the internal table and 'lin' holds the number of lines*
tcl_item-lines = lin.                             tcl_item is the name of the table control*
Now in the PBO, you have to make the table control editable or non editable by checking with the transaction.
Here i in the below code, there are 3 transactions for create,display and change.
If the transaction code is either 'ZCREATE09' or 'ZCHANGE09' , then the lines in the table control are checked.If the table control is not empty,then it is editable.
During the display transaction,it is kept in non editable mode.

Problem related to display column's full length as default in table control

Hi Experts,
I have a screen in report program. In that a table control has been designed.
Now the issue is that when report program has been executed and the table control screen is called on a particular action then the table columns full length is not visible as default however when i checked the screen layout the default and visible length of colum header and column field is as per required.
For example - We have a Period field with default length as 6 and visible length as 15. Its column header is Period with both default length as 15 and visible length as 15.
The period field has an internal table field reference and its format is NUMC.
While column header Period is Text field created of type CHAR.
Please suggest. Any help or inputs will be highly appreciated.

The value of MLINE can be from 1 and N, where N is the number of the lines shown in the table control, so if your table control can display 5 line, MLINE will be from 1 to 5.
Now you need to create the link between the line of the table control and the line of internal table, the rule is:
Internal Table Line = <table control>-TOP_LINE + <table control line> - 1.

Problem in SCROLLING of TABLE CONTROL which is designed using WIZARD

Hello Friends ,
                          I have designed a entry screen by using table control with wizard. My table control layout has 11 rows. I have used all 3 facilities i.e. SCROLLING , INSERT/DELETE & SELECT/DESELECT by cheking ( ticking ) check boxes while designing table control with wizard.
Now i have 3 problems.
1> In my entry screen , if 11 entries are entered , they are displayed in entry screen and are saved correctly in DB.
     But when i copy a file of suppose 15 entries into entry screen then it displays only 11 entries in entry screen and after that if i click/move VERTICAL SCROLL BAR to see remaining/next 4 entries then it does not display 12th 13th 14th &15th entry in entry screen. So the problem is i am unable to display remaining/next 4 entries in entry screen & also to save them DB.
2> At the same time when i click/move VERTICAL SCROLL BAR to see remaining/next 4 entries then earlier 11 entries are disappeared/ get cleared from entry screen.
3> The FIRST PAGE, PREVIOUS PAGE , NEXT PAGE , LAST PAGE and INSERT , DELETE push buttons are dispalyed in my entry screen . But they are not working or doing their opertions on table control though there is system generated code for them written in module pool program and PBO & PAI OF SCREEN 100 on which table control is present.
   So eagerly waiting for POSITIVE replies & Correct solutions from all ABAP techies.

My main problem is that I am unable to enter more than 11 entries in my entry screen. I want dynaamic table. Mean whichever enteries are entered they should be displayed on entry screen as well as can be scrolled up & down before saving and get saved after clicking SAVE button. here table control design is not imp because entry data depends on table control layout rows & which has limit. It can not be extended beyond certain level. i think max will be 20 Or 25 rows in layout. How to make it dynamic so that we can get any no. of entries in entry screen hiich canbe scrolled up & down.

Create a pushbutton in table control by dragging it from tool and place it in table control.And then set the name for that pushbutton.Make that push button field as output only field by check/mark -ing a check box of output field in program tab of screen attributes .Now the icon check box for that field will be active .Mark/check that icon check box as well.Once you done this ,then in Loop endloop of table control in PBO do the code like this.

Copy Functionality of Table Control like System's

The scenario is like this ... I have a table control in which i am able to display the data about the sales persons. Now whenever i select a row from that table control it should copy that row and show that row in another control table in the editable option so that the user can edit the data.. Then on clicking the save button it should be updated into the internal table ...

How to increase row height in table control?

Hi experts,
We have a push button in table control created using screen painter. Since this is a touch screen transaction, the default height is very small for the worker in the plant to click on a specific row, i would like to know if there is any way to increase the row height in the table control. There is no attribute in Screen painter for increasing row height in table control. I did try "import dynpro", hoping to increase the row height and export the dynpro, but that doesn't seem to have row height attributes. Any help in this regard is highly appreciated. Thanks,

Using a new technology means you have to recreate your screen: you may create an HTML using CL_DD_* classes (that's called "Dynamic Documents"). See [SAP Library - DD programming guide|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/13/12284b019511d4a73e0000e83dd863/frameset.htm]. Demos are provided in SDYNAMICDOCUMENTS package. Or I think you may create web dynpro and define a CSS style to enlarge objects.
If you don't want to create everything, maybe you can find out a workaround with GuiXT, for example creating a big button in each row (for example, with BUTTONSIZE, but don't know if it changes the height of rows but that's worth trying).
Well, [Synactive documentation about table controls|http://www.synactive.com/docu_e/specials/tables.html] does not seem to allow that.
Maybe you can move your question to the "scripting" forum and ask about how to do it with GuiXT...

Table Control Scrolling issue in Module Pool

Hi,
I've done table control. From Selection screen i've 3 buttons, if we'll press on one button one table control is visible. There if i do scrolling up to 10 records and i come back to selection and press another button again in table control scrolling is at previous place only. May be its nt refreshing.

Mixed Data Type Table Control for Data Entry

Hi Guys --
I'm attempting to do error-checked data entry,
My data is mixed: path, boolean, and numeric. The natural organization is an array of clusters. For instance, the cluster element would look like "path, boolean, numeric, numeric" and I would have many rows of this data cluster. To further complicate things I have to dynamically define the number of numeric elements in the cluster (tricky already) and also dynamically define the length of the array.
I find the table control to be ideal to handle the dynamic nature of the data for editing. I can easily use scroll bars to navigate to the appropriate part of the data. I can delete rows and columns etc.
On the other hand, the table can only handle string data. I find that doing data checking and type conversion on the table elements to be extremely cumbersome.
I think what I'm looking for is a Table Control with ability to handle controls as elements. From what I've read in this list and personally experienced, that functionality doesn't exist.
Does LV have in-built functionality that I'm overlooking to resolve this problem? Is there a third-party library that would do the job?

I think perhaps that I wasn't clear in my description.
As I pointed out, my data is organized naturally as an Array of Clusters. More descriptively, my data looks like spreadsheet data; some text, some numbers. I need to add rows and columns dynamically. I need to be able to resize column widths dynamically... and while the program is executing.
The Table Control does all of this. The intuitive way that the Table Control permits a user to enter data is also good for my user. The Array of Cluster data looks like spreadsheet data and a Table looks close enough to a spreadsheet. A Table permits one to insert and delete rows, resize columns widths, and scroll around.
I don't see that I get these features with an Array of Clusters Control.
The issue with the Table Control is the lack of in-built data types, so I spend an inordinate amount of time doing type-conversion and range-checking.
At this point I'm pretty much convinced that LV doesn't have the in-built capability that I'm looking for.
I am curious if there are any LV libraries or Active-X controls somewhere that would implement the functionality that I require?

How to refresh the table control

i used bapi to update the changes made in data of table control in modulepool.
like i changed serial number and short text of equipment . now when
i simultaneously go for transaction ie02 i,e equipment change in another session with table control open in other session , and now i changed data of particular equipment number in ie02 , now when i use refresh button in table control that change should be affected. how would be the logic for the refresh button
when i use the refresh button in the table control , screen should be refreshed or filled with updated data. so what is the flow and logic for that.

I have two screens 200 and 500. In screen 200 i have a field End_Customer, in screen 500 i have a table control. when i select a particular record in table control and press a push button in table control it is giving me a error saying that : 'Invalid field format(screen error)'.
My requirement is that when a select particular record in table control and press the push button the record value has to be populated in screen 200, field End_Customer.
