How to have push button in Table control

Hi Experts,
I have an internal table which I populate in table control. How can I have pushbutton in table control(in every row). If done how to have funtion code which will trigger PAI.

Hi,
I dont think that pushbuttons will be of much use as when you click a button same code will be executed all time.
So, you can take either selection column in table control (use the SELCOL in the table attributes)
or you can also take a checkbox in table control and then can perform action on lines which were selected by the user.

We have a push button in table control created using screen painter. Since this is a touch screen transaction, the default height is very small for the worker in the plant to click on a specific row, i would like to know if there is any way to increase the row height in the table control. There is no attribute in Screen painter for increasing row height in table control. I did try "import dynpro", hoping to increase the row height and export the dynpro, but that doesn't seem to have row height attributes. Any help in this regard is highly appreciated. Thanks,

Using a new technology means you have to recreate your screen: you may create an HTML using CL_DD_* classes (that's called "Dynamic Documents"). See [SAP Library - DD programming guide|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/13/12284b019511d4a73e0000e83dd863/frameset.htm]. Demos are provided in SDYNAMICDOCUMENTS package. Or I think you may create web dynpro and define a CSS style to enlarge objects.
If you don't want to create everything, maybe you can find out a workaround with GuiXT, for example creating a big button in each row (for example, with BUTTONSIZE, but don't know if it changes the height of rows but that's worth trying).
Well, [Synactive documentation about table controls|http://www.synactive.com/docu_e/specials/tables.html] does not seem to allow that.
Maybe you can move your question to the "scripting" forum and ask about how to do it with GuiXT...

To create a pushbutton on the selection screen, you use:
SELECTION SCREEN PUSHBUTTON [/]<pos(len)> <push>
USER-COMMAND <ucom> [MODIF ID <key>].
The [/]<pos(len)> parameters and the MODIF IF addition have the same function as for the formatting options for underlines and comments.
<push> determines the pushbutton text. For <push>, you can specify a text symbol or a field name with a maximum length of eight characters. This character field must not be declared with the DATA statement, but is generated automatically with length <len>. The field must be filled before the selection screen is called.
For <ucom>, you must specify a code of up to four characters. When the user clicks the pushbutton on the selection screen, <ucom> is entered in the UCOMM of the SSCRFIELDS interface work area. You must use the TABLES statement to declare the SSCRFIELDS structure. The contents of the SSCRFIELDS-UCOMM field can be processed during the AT SELECTION-SCREENevent.

If you want to delete the rows in the table control and simultaneously delete it from the database table, then you can implement a 'DELETE' functionality specific to your table control. Have a MARK field (you will find that in the screen attributes of the table control -> give a name for the MARK field, you will find an additional MARK column at the beginning of your table control). You can check whatever rows you want to delete from the table control, call the delete module.

How to add a column in table control

Hi ,
Can any one tell me how to add a column in table control? My requirement is to add two columns ( custom fields ) into table control ( It is a standard program). I have added the column in the table and also in the table control. But when I am running the standard program, The newly added column is not there. But I have added in the perticular screen. Change is not reflected.
Can anyone help me on this please.

Hi,
Ensure the following :
1. After adjusting the database, you`ll have to use the database utility and activate the table.
2. If you have changed the standard screen, in tcode se80 -- right click on the program and click activate all. This activates all objects related to that program.
Now execute the program.

How to ijntroduce PUSH Button in KD_GET_FILENAME_ON_F4

Dear Experts,
I am new to ABAP.
I know how to use push button in Sel-Screen. But my requirement is:
1)How can I use a push button in "KD_GET_FILENAME_ON_F4" so that on hitting the push button a PopUp screen appears.
2) This Pop up screen should be a file directory screen from which I can select a file.
3) This file on one click should get considered as "file_name" of the call function "KD_GET_FILENAME_ON_F4."

Thanks for your reply. The method suggested by you will definitely help the user to directly open a file dialogue box. But I want the code to make it more simpler for the user. After I execute the code The use should get a Push Button. On hitting this push button a POP UP screen should appear. This pop up screen should lear us to the target folder.
In your suggestion it was possible to open a folder path pop up screen. just I want to intriduce a PUSH button there. Also I want multi selection to be possible. In your suggestion above when I wrote the code as:

Here is the sample code.If you are using reuse_alv_grid_display, no need to write code in PBO.
Just double click the 'TEST' which is written in code.Then create a GUI Status.In Application toolbar,type the name of the button you want(say BUTTON).Then double click that name.Then enter the ICON name and function text.Activate it.This itself will work.If you want all the functionalities,then try to do as Vinod told.

I have written a user exit ZXPADU02 for my requirement
as per the requirement in i have calculated wa-poo8-bet01 = wa_p0008-ansal/12 and i have passed on to the INNNN structure .
Nowe when do a Create or Copy for a rcord in infotype 0008 iam not
getting value on Q0008-betrg field on the SCREEN , since it is table control how to get data on the table Control Cell .

Of course you have to loop and endloop, the table control and mofidy it from the work area.

You can change the coding of Table Maintenance.
>> Goto SM30, give table name and goto Display/Maintain mode and copy all the GUI status from standard program into your function group. Add sort button in the GUI Status of Maintain & Display mode.
>> Goto to tablemaintenance screen generated using SE51.
>> Select change mode.
>> After PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT, create one module to assign your function group program name to " X_HEADER-GUI_PROG = "
>> In PROCESS AFTER INPUT, add another module at the end to perform the action.

I create program using BDC that contains table control.
Unfortunately the table control line of BDC program will depend on the resolution of our PC setting.
Sometime I have 2 lines, sometime 3 lines (in different PC).
How to determine fixed line of table control?
So it will never be confusing me whether I have 2 or 3 lines.

Default size will play good role in terms of resoultion. in one system in table control you can see 10rows, but in others system it will show 20 records. it depends on resoultion. but when you set the default size then it will take same (default screen size) in all the systems when you run BDC.

How to implement F4 help in table control

Hi all,
I am working on a table control in a module pool program. I have three fields in table control , material no. , material description and quantity. my requirement is , in table control , i need to provide the F4 help for material no. and material description, in a way, if i select material no. using F4, the corresponding material description field would be entered automatically in the table control field.
Pls suggest me on this , if possible pls give me code or logic to do this.

Please search in SCN before posting. You will find many threads related to this question. The basic logic is you have to get the selected row of table control using DYNP_GET_STEPL function in your POV. Then using function DYNP_VALUES_READ read the material and create the description to be displayed. You have use function F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST to display search help.
