I am exporting data of one schema which is on ORALCE 10g to oracle 9i
by exp utility export is complete sucessfully but it will giving error in some tables as EXP-00003: no storage definition found for segment(11, 883)
can you tell mi what is the cause of error?
What steps need to be to correct the error?

Since you are exporting from 10g to 9i, can you tell me the version of Export utility used to export data from 10g.
Moreover if you are using 9i export utility try with compress=Y option and still if you are getting the error do post here.

Getting error EXP-00003: no storage definition found for segment(0, 0)

I am getting an error when using "Export: Release 11.2.0.1.0 - Production" on "AIX 6.1.0.0" and connecting to a remote database with version "Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.2.0 - 64bit Production". I have tried many different options but the latest command that I ran is:
exp Userid=id/password@db TABLES=myschema.mytable file=mytable.dat log=mytable.log compress=y INDEXES=N
I am not using expdp for some specific reasons but this Export works on smaller tables whereas this has > 100,000 records. Also there is ample space on the landing directory.
Any help is appreciated.

This is the bug. Read this
OERR: EXP 3 "no storage definition found for segment(%lu, %lu)" [ID 21599.1]
It also happens When trying to export an object, all associated objects are exported as well. If one of the indexes is owned by a user and the exporting user does not have permissions on that index object the export fails.

Export terminated successfully with warnings.

Normally, you can use a lower version to export. That is not best practice
but people do it.
For example , the DBA does a full client install of 9.2.0.1 on his Windows
desktop and uses that to run exp against a 9.2.0.x database on a Unix/Linux
server. People do that. Although that is not the proper thing to do.
Also, if you need to export from one version and import into a lower version,
you do need to use the exp utility of the lower version.
However, in this particular case, the Notes I mentioned identify this as a bug
which is a regression after the 9.2.0.5 patchset fixed another issue with
dba_segments. So, now you have to use 9.2.0.5 or higher as your exp utility.
It is, of course, always best to run exp from the same ORACLE_HOME as
the database. But best practices aren't always practiced in the real world !

Normally this error is due to mismatch in versions of export utility and database. Since you are running this (probably) from the database server (since the versions are the same), I guess you need to contact support as indicated in error documentation.
EXP-00003: no storage definition found for segment(number, number)
Cause: Export could not find the storage definitions for a cluster, index, or table.
Action: Record the accompanying messages and report this as an Export internal error to customer support.
Besides, upgrade to 9.2.0.8 or higher might be a solution.

This is coming for all the tables having clob/blob columns. Pls provide the solution asap.

1. Oracle database version.
2. Export utility version
When you use old version of exp to export tables with LOB column from Oracle 9.2.0.5 or higher version, you will get an error "EXP-00003 : no storage definition found for segment .....", actually this is an Oracle bug, you could temporary get it resolved by replace a view "exu9tne", as following:
Before exporting, run the following SQL under sys:
CREATE OR REPLACE VIEW exu9tne (
tsno, fileno, blockno, length) AS
SELECT ts#, segfile#, segblock#, length
FROM sys.uet$
WHERE ext# = 1
UNION ALL
SELECT * FROM SYS.EXU9TNEB
After exporting, run the following to restore the view definition according to Metalink Notes.

Export-Error Message EXP-00003

I'm using Oracle 9.2.0.5 on Windows.
Seventeen Tables in the schema have Spatial-Columns (MDSYS.SDO_GEOMETRY).
I try to export the schema.
For 2 tables the Exp-program gives the error message EXP-00003.
When I set all spatial-values in these tables to null by an UPDATE-Statement the Export-Error still occures.
When I drop the spatial-column and then reintroduce it the Export-error disappears.
The error comes back, after filling the spatial-column with data again.
Documentation says:
EXP-00003 no storage definition found for segment(number, number)
Cause: Export could not find the storage definitions for a cluster, index, or table.
Action: Record the accompanying messages and report this as an Export internal error to Oracle Customer Support.
Any suggestions?

You could be using a older version (9.2.0.4) of the export utility.
Check note 274076.1 on metalink for details.

Please, I try to explain the following scenary :
I had created one purcharse using ME21N transaction, that it had one service and imputation on cost center (CeCo)
I had created document using ML81N and accepting.
I can lookup posting document FI and it is correct.
I can lookup posting document profit center cost
But it did not create posting on COPA. Because It did not have configuration or specified OKB9: Cost Ctr (KSTAR) assigned - > Cost element master (KOSTL).
When I am excuting this report S_ALR_87013611 - Cost Centers: Actual/Plan/Variance.
I are seing income as statistical posting under cost centres.
Cost centres cannot have 'real' income postings. It is correct.
Because Cost Ele category is equal “12” and (Cost Ele category 11 or 12) are posted AS statistical on cost centers.
Finally:
Bussines need that "posted as statistical on cost centers" => it should create on COPA.
We are thinking that we can using a cycle in KEU5 transacction.
But whem we are executing transaction KEU5 son it get this message:
– It does not found senders (emisor) for segment.
Unfortunately, I am not found one note oss.
Could you check this and recommend the best option? or could you recommend any note oss, please?

I am thinking about your recomendation about using substitucion (OKC9) to derivate the PAOBJNR as reael account assignment.
It will probably be good idea but Step(Okc9) does not derivate or move characteristics to RKE_GET_ACCTNR Function. Because we dont not know this characteristics.
We had reviwed cost line items for cost center and we are seeing that all document are Material Document and this document dont have fields to derivate characteristics.
Another alternative:
Transaction KA02 change category element.
Field change CElem Category is not possible (transaction data already exists)
Diagnosis
To ensure the consistency of existing data, you can only change object CElem Category if no transaction data exists in the change period; that is, neither plan data nor actual data has been posted.
As transaction data already exists, it is not possible to change objects in this time period.
Procedure
If you still want to change the object, select a suitable change interval by choosing "Edit -> Analysis period...".

IOS 7 'Define' option pulls up 'no definition found' when highlighting word for definition

Has anyone experienced this problem after updating to iOS 7? It appears the dictionary is missing when highlighting a word anywhere in the OS and selecting the 'Define' option to look up a word. It just displays a blank page with the words 'no definition found'. I've experienced this with my iPhone 4 also. The apps I've tried this in are iBooks, Notes, Mail, & Safari.

My French dictionary works, but none of the English dictionaries do.
I have tried to manage the dictionaries (they are frozen: no response to clicks). I have changed languages on the keyboard, and changed them back again. I have performed a keyboard reset in Settings.
Nothing helps.
Any other ideas out there?

ORA-01658: unable to create INITIAL extent for segment in tablespace

NEW REPOSITORY INSTALLATION ERROR!!
I want to install a new Repository using Oracle9iR9.2.0.1 and iDS10g on windowsXP Professional the same machine.
After running all the SQL scripts ( ckqa,ckvalqa,ckcreate,ckreport) with success to installing a new Repository on my Database using "the Scripts Method",I start the Repository Administration Utility( RAU) to scheck the priveleges and so on.
After pressing the Install button in the RAU:
-I take public synonyms
-I scheck the box for "Support Designer Objects", then
-The Repository size is Medium
-I have not change the defauft Tablespace of the Repository_Manager names TEMPORARY_TABLES to store the index and table of System Data....Diagram Data.
After Starting, the Installation began an stop by installing some Tables like schown :

When I read the Help of the Error the
CAUSE was: Failed to find sufficient contiguous Space to allocate INITIAL extend for Segment being created.
ACTION: Use ALTER TABLESPACE ADD DATAFILE to add additional space to the tablespace or retry with a smaller Value for initial.
I then try to resolve it by schecking and changing the Values of INITIAL_VALUE and NEXT_VALUE in the ckparams.txt to 500k.I change the Values of TEMPORARY_TABLES(10214 to 51200k) and TEMPORARY_INDEXES from (20000 to 100000k).Then I run the scripts @ckparams.txt, @ckvalqa, @ckcreate but
-pressing the Scheck Privileges Button on the RAU still give me 106k for the INITIAL_ and NEXT_VALUE.
-And the installato still stop with the same Error.
Question: How schould I resolve this Configuration?

You are running into database errors. You should refer to the database documentation on how to adjust the size your tablespaces. The online Designer installation guide will advise you as to the sizes of tablespaces you require. Many Thanks for your reply.The problem got sorted out and the IDoc(ORDERS04) which i send in SAP 4.6c gets into SAP 4.7 AS ORDERS04 but i have a new problem now....
I didnt use any mappings until now...but now i have to have the segment E1EDK14 filled up for Sales organisation, Distribution Channel, Division details as well as the material number. These segments will not be filled up when a PO is sent from the source system.These segments has to be filled only in the XI system...Is it ? or is there any other solution for it....
Now how we can have this segment E1EDK14 which can occur any number of times with constant values for SORG,DV,DC in the mapping process....

Mount-DiskImage in a remote session exeception- Cannot process Cmdlet Definition XML for the following file:

Hi everybody,
I have a strange problem with Mount-DiskImage command.
Environment: Windows server 2012 without any updates.
All scripts signed as it was in Hanselman's blogpost
http://www.hanselman.com/blog/SigningPowerShellScripts.aspx
First script(script1) executing on one machine (server1), then copy another script(script2) to the remote server(server2) and run script2 in a PS-Session. Both are signed. Certificates are located on both servers.
In a script I tried to
Import-Module Storage
$mountVolume = Mount-DiskImage -ImagePath $ImageSourcePath -PassThru
where ImageSourcePath is a networkpath to iso image.
But getting exception.

When I look into the C:\Windows\system32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\Modules\Storage\Disk.cdxml I didn't get what's happend, because in line 138- was xml comment.
Any ideas?

"XML File not found for the Container DataBindings.cpx" error after deploy

Hello,
I have a problem with my JSP-Javaproject. Local works all fine but when i deploy my project to a Oracle Aplication Server i allway get this XML-File-Not-found exception:

Adding the dependency in the ViewController fixed this for me.
I'm using two AppModules in the controller and the second one wasn't being picked up.
I was able to fix this by:
Go to the Project Properties, select Dependencies, edit the Dependent Projects and Archives, find the model that's failing and add a tick in the Build Output box.
The model should now be picked up in the ViewController's DataBindings.cpx source file, though I did have to restart JDev for this to be picked up.

How to fix "no valid 'aps-environment' entitlement string found for application"?

I am trying very very hard to create a simple simple iOS app which can recieve push notifications. My only reason for doing this is to establish a procedure for some other team members to use. Our shop is fairly new to iOS dev, I personally am completely inexperienced with iOS dev and Xcode. I've stumbled through tens of tutorials, articles, and trouble posts from Apple and elsewhere and I feel like I'm nearly there. Here is where I've got to (note I'm using Xcode 4.3 and trying initially to deploy just to iOS 5.1, and I gather that some things may have changed recently vs earlier versions of Xcode, but again I'm new to all this -- and finding it completely confusing and convoluted):
1. I've got a provisioning profile on my iPhone which has Push enabled
2. In my test Xcode project I've got that provisioning profile selected as the signing identity (in Build Settings > Code Signing)
3. I've got my bundle identifier under Summary and Info > Custom iOS Target Properties set properly* (I think??)
4. I've got registerForRemoteNotificationTypes being called in my delegate's didFinishLaunchingWithOptions
5. I've got didRegisterForRemoteNotificationsWithDeviceToken and didFailToRegisterForRemoteNotificationsWithError in my delegate, set up to log the device token or error respectively
6. I've got Enable Entitlements checked under Summary.
7. Right below that the Entitlements File selected is Tinker6 (the name of my project), which was generated automatically when I checked Enable Entitlements
8. In the Tinker6.entitlements file I've got the following (which I've gathered is correct based on several different posts all over the web, but which I can't find anything definitive from Apple itself on):
When I attempt to run this on my device, I get the following error in Xcode output:
2012-06-11 12:45:23.762 Tinker6[13332:707] Failed to get token, error: Error Domain=NSCocoaErrorDomain Code=3000 "no valid 'aps-environment' entitlement string found for application" UserInfo=0x24a3b0 {NSLocalizedDescription=no valid 'aps-environment' entitlement string found for application}
I've tried setting get-task-allow to NO, aps-environment to production, all four possible combinations, same thing.
How can I get past this? Where is definitive documentation on this?

*As far as the bundle id, I am still not clear on how this should be set in relation to App Ids and Profile ids in the Provisioning profile. In the Provisioning portal under App Ids I have this (I've scrambled the number and domain but otherwise structurally will be the same):

I am not at all sure these are correct or whether one or both should be set to 12355456A7.com.whatever.tinker, though I've tried those earlier in the process with no success...

Solution: startover, do everything exactly the same (but with new IDs and certs for everything), and it worked.

EXP-00003: no storage definition found for segment in export import
