Expand all/ Collapse all topics button and Visited Topics color

Hi
First of all, I am not sure if it is a good idea to create one post for two queries. But I have these two requirements for my project.
1. I need a Expand all/ Collapse all button(s) on the toolbar, which will open and close all books in the ToC. Is it possible to have one? How?
2. Is it possible to have a different color for the visited topics on the ToC? How?

I am new to OAF.
I have a requirement lin Oracle Sparse Management -> Parts HTML Request Form needs to Personalize/Customize for a business requirement.
I have some qusetions like
1. Can we customize or personalize the Show All Details or HideAll Details options in OA Forms ?
2. If Yes, i have similar requirement like that,
The personalization aim is show all details should be expanded by default.
3. If No please provide why it can not be achevable.
Here is business reuirement in parts Html, there are two regions in page 1. Header 2. Lines (Under Lines there are two table 1 is for Item information search and 2nd is for order details based on the item. This order details are hided under the Item information table one of the field button Show(which is like Expand All with symbol +))
Page works like below.
1. Header level validations are there for some fields like Resource, Need By Date.
2. Once Valid from header can be entered the Item information search in Lines details Region, in the same table there is an option with + symbol (Show), which is like Expand All.
will validate the item details and displays Order details respective to item. These results are hide under + Show button.
If i want see the order details then i need to perform click action on the +Show button. (Requirement is this should be done automatically once i have entered the item in Line Details Region and needs to display the results).
Please provide your seggestions to acheive this.

For this i have tried below steps to extend related VO of SHow button field.
Below steps i have perforemed.
1) Identified the right VO from about this page.
ReqLineVO
2) Exported the related standard VO to JDEV from Server.
ReqLineVOImpl.java, ReqLineVORowImpl.java, ReqHeaderVO, RequirementAM, RequirementAMImpl.java
3) Created a new VO which extends the standard VO and modified Showhide flag to ‘Y’
HolxReqLineVO, HolxReqLineVOImpl.java, HolxReqLineVORowImpl.java
4) Performed substitutions in Jdeveloper
Project Properties -> Business Components -> substitutions
5) Have created custom folder structure in server and moved custom VO files to server.
\holx\oracle\apps\csp\portal\requirement\server\HolxReqLineVO.xml
6) Performed JPX import
1. Go to E:\jdev10g\jdevbin\oaext\bin
2. Executed the below command
jpximport E:\jdev10g\jdevbin\jdev\myprojects\OAProject4.jpx -username apps -password th1rdapps -dbconnection "(DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp)

Changing Active and Visited link colors.

I am trying to find a way to meet a business users request to
set the color for visited links in the published TOC so that the
users will know which topics they have visited. Is there a way to
do this?
I found where you can edit the skins but it only lets you set
the color for active and hover states, not visited.

Open tabs are not on tab strip. Have to click on List All Tabs button to find tabs. Tabs used to display on tab strip and stopped doing this. Suggestions?

Been using Firefox for years, running Windows XP. This morning when I opened pages in another tab, did not see them on tab strip. Only way to find them is to click on List All Tabs Button and it shows list. Cannot get them to display on tab strip. If I open in another window, it works, like it should. If I click on plus sign on tab strip it opens another tab, but can't see the previous ones except with List All Tabs Button. Any suggestions on how to turn tab strip back on? Thanks, jayem33

If it works in a new window then you can drags tabs from the not working window to that new window.
You can also try to close the tabs via Ctrl+W and restore the closed tabs via Shift+Ctrl+T

Update font for all the menus and buttons

In my application, i want to update the fonts of all the buttons and menu items, when the user selects a new form, what i am trying it , at the start of application i am putting the default font as

and when the user changes the font, i update the UIManager in Action event and call

But some how it does not work, all the fonts are not modified for all the components which are added,
How can i do it

Although, I only read your long reply first, to solve the problem that you have written before to someone else! It did not work exactly as you wrote, but you sent me in the right direction. Since, iPad did not have any data anyway, it did not matter if I lose any data in the process, I did not need to back any saved data. I pressed all the buttons and held it for different times and I don't know how it happened but eventially it turned on (logo picture apple appeared) and it was initialized! Thank you!

Rollover buttons and rollover areas

I created a button on Fireworks that changes from blue to purple on rollover and when I imported it into Captivate 5 it works perfectly. However when I added a rollover area the button no longer changes color. I would love some ideas on how to make that work.
I tried placing the rollover area behind the button and it changes color but the rollover caption does not show up. I also tried not using a rollover area and instead changing the button properties to On Success: Show > Text Caption and that works ok except I don't want the slides to continue for there are still other buttons I would like the viewer to press before proceeding. I have a feeling there's some Advanced Actions that I could use but don't know how to set them up.
Please help me, thanks a bundle in advance.

What is your output? Where are the show/hide buttons placed: In the topic or in the toolbar? You're using RoboHTML right?
Did you use any kind of twisties in your RoboHelp 7 project? The show all hide all buttons are controlled by a custom script and I'd like to know which method you are using. (If you know which.) See also http://www.grainge.org/pages/authoring/twisty/twisty.htm

Is it possible to add an Expand all/Collapse all button in WebHelp Output?

We now have > 15 child projects in our merged online help, each containing hundreds of topics. Each child project is a chapter in our WebHelp online help output.
If a user opens a couple of topics in each project, the TOC can become difficult to navigate. Is it possible to add a button that enables users to collapse all of the open chapters / expand all of the closed chapters? We are using RoboHelp 10.

Hi there
Expanding all could be problematic. But collapsing all should be a snap. That is, as long as you don't mind one teensy side effect. That side effect would be that the default topic would load up in the Topic pane and replace whatever topic was open at the time your user clicked the Collapse All.
The way to Collapse All is to simply create a hyperlink that re-opens the WebHelp start page. Things reload fresh (with the TOC all nice and collapsed).

Expand All and Collapse All with Data table

     I have a data table as shown in code pasted . where the first and second column have row category which gives a categorization with a twisty.
     When i click on the twisty or item name the level beneath it expands. Eerything works fine.. but i need to have to links     Expand All and Collapse All which when clicked open the entire hierarchy or collapse it. Can anyone suggest a way of doing. Can it be done using javascript, I am not comfortable with java script .If someone has done this before please share the piece of code.Also please suggest the different ways of doing it. I am using RAD 7 and IBM JSF components.

Per my understanding that you have added the Expand All and Collapse All button in an drill down report by adding the "Go to report" action, now you got the report always refresh and return to the first page, right?
I have tested on my local environment and can reproduce the issue, no matter whether to add two buttons or using the parameter to do the Expand All and Collapse All, it is always return to the first page.
Gernerally, SQL Server Reporting Services does a postback while clicking a expand/collapse icon. SSRS re-renders reports because it need to regenerate the pages to fit the defined width & Height. That is why SQL Server Reporting Services reloads
the whole report.
This is by design. And, currently, we are not able to turned it off.

If the service requests frequently, we may include it in the next release.

I am using TreeByNestingTableColumn element to display the tree hierarchy .
Does anyone knows how to implement Collapse All and Expand All functionality for this tree (if someone have sample code for these functionality then it will be great for me) ?

*step2: Extract all the table entries from node which is binded to table

    IMPORTING
      table = lt_tree_hierarchy ).
*step3:set element attribute Expanded to abap_true
    loop at lt_tree_hierarchy ASSIGNING <ls_tree_hierarchy>.
      <ls_tree_hierarchy>-expanded = abap_true.
    endloop.
*step4: Finally the updated data needs to be binded.

Expand all below & collapse all below action are not working for <af:treeTable/> UI component which are provide by <af:panelCollection/> component by default (we dont have control over them). But Action 'expand all below' on selected row is just expanding itself (selected one.)

your panel accordion does not have a showDetail item as a child containing the panelCollection, The IDE should have flagged this as an error. Your problem doesn't reproduce for me

Hi all,
I need to implement* expand all and collapse all *in a custom page where I have some Link beans generated dynamically to show the allowable responsibilities.I have added the link beans and respective hide show regions in a stack layout.How to implement expand all/collapse all for this hide show in the page.

Is there any way to remove collapse all and expand all links which HGrid shows by default, the reason is when the user clicks on collapse all it will collapse to root node but my requirement is it should collapse untill 2 node level.
