EXPDP exported data in some tables but exported zero rows in others

Hello,
Good day and top of the day to you.
I created a parfile for expdp and the content is as below :
DIRECTORY=EXPORTBANKSYS
FILESIZE=4G
INCLUDE=TABLE
JOB_NAME=exportbanksys
LOGFILE=banksytables
PARALLEL=4
SCHEMAS=BANKSYS
DUMPFILE=banksystables%U.dmp
The parfile is meant to export all table data in banksys schema.
But i discovered that after i initiated the EXPort via the above parfile , part output is as below :
. . exported "BANKSYS"."XXX" 5.289 KB 1 rows
. . exported "BANKSYS"."YY" 8.617 KB 1 rows
. . exported "BANKSYS"."YYY" 11.84 KB 1 rows
. . exported "BANKSYS"."branch_UNITY" 0 KB 0 rows
. . exported "BANKSYS"."branch_test" 0 KB 0 rows
. . exported "BANKSYS"."ACCNT5" 64.31 MB 1405026 rows
. . exported "BANKSYS"."ACCNT" 64.25 MB 1403676 rows
Despite the fact that there are records in branch_UNITY and branch_test the log file shows that no record was exported.
Is there anything I did not do right ?
|Please assist as I need to export all the tables and not some

My only guess at this time is that you might have some extended security on those tablles that is preventing the scheama running the expdp job from seeing the rows. Can you log into sqlplus with the same schema running the expdp job and do a select count(*) from the suspect tables.

  • SQL Loader to append data in same table but using differnet WHEN clauses

    In my data file i have a header record and a detail record identified by Record_type = 1 and 2 respectively.
    The Database table has all the columns to capture detail records but i want to capture jus one column of header record now also in my existing table. So i have added that column (DATA_DATE)in my table but how to capture that value ?
    im writing my control file using two WHEN clauses, something like -
    load data
    into table t_bdn
    append
    when RECORD_TYPE = '2'
    FIELDS TERMINATED BY "|" TRAILING NULLCOLS
    SEQUENCE_NO
    , RECORD_TYPE
    , DISTRIBUTOR_CODE
    , SUPPLIER_CODE
    , SUPPLIER_DISTRIBUTOR_CODE
    , DISTRIBUTOR_SKU
    , SUPPLIER_SKU
    when RECORD_TYPE = '1'
    FIELDS TERMINATED BY "|" TRAILING NULLCOLS
    SEQUENCE_NO FILLER
    , RECORD_TYPE FILLER
    , CREATE_DATE FILLER
    , DATA_DATE "NVL(to_date(:DATA_DATE, 'YYYY/MM/DD'),to_date('9999/12/31', 'YYYY/MM/DD'))"
    im getting error " expecting INTO and foung WHEN RECORD_TYPE = '1' "
    if i give iNTO second time it will append a new row altogether in my table but i want the same row to be updated with this DATA_DATE value coming from RECORD_TYPE =1 and header record has 4 delimited data text fields only and i am interested in fetching just the 4th column..
    KIndly suggest what to do ?

    Ravneek, I could be wrong but sqlldr is a 'load' program, that is, it inserts data. I am unaware of any ability to update existing rows as you seem to want. What you appear to want to do is more the job of a merge statement.
    I would look at writing a pro* language, a .net, or a java program to perform inserts where some or all of the newly inserted rows are also to be updated.
    From the manual: (Oracle® Database Utilities 10g Release 2 (10.2) Part Number B14215-01)
    Updating Existing Rows
    The REPLACE method is a table replacement, not a replacement of individual rows. SQL*Loader does not update existing records, even if they have null columns. To update existing rows, use the following procedure:
    1. Load your data into a work table.
    2. Use the SQL language UPDATE statement with correlated subqueries.
    3. Drop the work table.

    Hello Brian,
    Thank you for your answer. It is approach I will use, I think. However let me ask: Would it be possible to have a Version in this layout, too? I mean to see, which value comes from Version A and which comes from Version B? Something like this:
    Calendar Month Version Sales Amount
    2011.01  B  200
    2011.02  B  300
    2011.03  A  260
    2011.04  A  230
    2011.05  A  200
    A

  • I want to retrive data from KNVP table but it shows records in miss order.

    Hello all,
    I have written following query.
    SELECT  KPKUNNR KPKUNN2
                INTO corresponding fields of table I_KUNZJ
                FROM KNVP AS KP
                WHERE KP~PARVW = 'ZJ'
                  AND KP~KUNN2 = 'C0100'            .
    KNVP table having following customers for my condition:-
      Kunnr
      100510
      1150010
      1166835
    But it shows records in following order:-
    Kunnr
      1150010
      100510
      1166835
    So it shows 1st record = 1150010 instead of 100510. I want to show 1st record as 100510. Can any one please tell me why it shows such miss order.

    customers::Kunnr
    100510
    1150010
    1166835
    Actually I want to select 1st record only and insted of 100510 it shows 1150010 kunnr.
    SELECT  KUNNR KUNN2
                INTO corresponding fields of table I_KUNZJ
                FROM KNVP
                up to 1 rows
                WHERE PARVW = 'ZJ'
                  AND KUNN2 = 'C0100'            .
    Becoz
    In KNVP table customers are in following order:-
    Kunnr
    100510
    1150010
    1166835
    But after selection it  shows records in following order:-
    Kunnr
    1150010
    100510

  • SEM-BPS 6.0 error message requested data cannot be locked but at 999 row?

    Hi all,
    We are using SEM-BPS with WIB and EP 7.0 and I encountered issues for the first time.  I normally avoid configuring layouts with large hierarchies but at this one the client insisted.  They are in testing right now and selection of relatively small node (approx. 10-20 cost centers) still gave us an error message.
    I know layouts has a limit of 9,999 rows and we should have been okay since it is about 200-300 lines per cost center but we are getting the error message below and it mentioned a limit of 999 rows in the selection table..  Any way we can change that?
    Thanks,
    mary
    Requested data cannot be locked (-> see long text)
    Notification Number RSPLS092
    Diagnosis
    In order to edit data from InfoProvider 'ZYEE_C02', the requested data has to be locked exclusively for user 'YEESU01'. The data that is currently being requested is specified by a very large selection table. In order to lock the data exclusively, the system has to store a compressed version of this selection table on the SAP standard lock server. However, the compressed selection table still has more than 999 rows. So that a reasonable number of users are able to change data at the same time, the system limits the number of records allowed in a selection table to 999 records.
    Information on Context of Lock Request:
    Lock requests can come from BI-Planning or from BW-BPS. The context specifies the following information:
    BI-Planning: for a lock request from a query, {Planning Function} for a lock request from a planning function.
    BW-BPS: {Planning Area}{Planning Level}{Planning Package}{Planning Function}{Parameter Group}. For lock requests from manual planning the following is true: Planning function = '0-MP' and the parameter group is the technical name of the planning layout.
    InfoProvider 'ZYEE_C02' is always a Basis InfoProvider. The current context information is:
    '{0-ADHOC}{0-MP}'
    System Response
    The requested data cannot be locked.
    Procedure
    You can normally only avoid this by simplifying your selections. For more information, see the documentation on this.
    Procedure for System Administration

    Hi Mary,
    in RSPLSE you use the option that the BI lock table is maintained in the SAP enqueue server. Here there is a limit - as explained in the long text of the message - that the compressed selection table for one enqueue request should not have more than 999 rows. This limit can not be changed.
    The selection table seems to be very big, since the compression factor is at least 5. So please check your selection table:
    1 check whether you can make the characteristic causing the problem not lock relevant
    2 or use the second option that the BI lock table is maintained in a shared memory area of the central instance of the system.
    But it is better to keep the selection tables small, e.g. by making some characteristics not lock relevant.
    Check sizing note 928044, e.g. in case you want to use 2. The default setting is very small.
    Regards,
    Gregor

  • Flash 13.0.0.214 does NOT work on some sites, but works fine on all others

    Hi!
    I watch several wildlife nest-cams every day running Windows 8 using Firefox 29.0.1, but yesterday morning, (after I'd already watched the 6 cams I view every day), I started getting a solid, black screen with, "Error loading plugin: Plugin file not found", on TWO of these sites.
    My attempts to resolve the problem were:
    1.  Checked all the other web-cam sites I view daily, and there's only a problem on 2 of them.
    2.  Went to You Tube, Facebook & other similar sites and I can view streaming media.
    3.  Refreshed pages-when that didn't help, I closed & reopened Firefox & still 2 sites with "plugin loading error"
    4.  Completely shut-down my laptop & rebooted.
    5.  Did "System Restore" to earlier in the day when ALL web-cam sites were working.
    6.  Went to Adobe Flash site & verified that I had the most current version...I do, & I saw the animations on Flash site.
    7.  Verified my Flash Plugins in Firefox...AGAIN...they're all activated & up-to-date
    8.  Checked & re-checked ALL the web-cam sites I view every day, (for, at least the 10th time), and the
         same 2 sites are still showing the "Error loading plugin: Plugin file not found" on a black screen.  Even
         though the video isn't seen the "chat" area is functioning, (I don't know if that's important, but I
         thought I should mention it).
    9.  I posted the issue on Firefox's Forum but no one has an answer since Flash works everywhere except
         for 2 sites.
    I've tried everything I can think of to troubleshoot this, but as you can see, I've had no success in solving this "mystery".
    As for the 2 sites I can't view, they are:
                                        http://www.pixcontroller.com/eagles/    And
                                        http://www.westmorelandconservancy.org/BlueBirdWebcam-1.htm
    I've been watching these sites for MONTHS, so why I can't view them all of a sudden, well, I'm clueless, (I guess you already figured that out...ha ha ha).  I was watching the 2 sites listed above early yesterday morning, then when I looked at one of the other cams I view and came back to these 2 sites, I got the "error message".
    I hope you have a solution for me, as I'm desperate!  I'm WAY behind in my documentation for these 2 sites, so hopefully you'll have an easy answer.  If it's a technical thing, please use LOTS of details, as I'm not very technically inclined.
    Thanks in advance for your help!
    Best Regards,
    DogPal
    P.S.  I just checked on another site that offers many different wildlife cams, & I CAN view the "Pittsburgh Bald Eagles" if I go through: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/pittsburgh-bald-eagles    I'm sure this means something, but since I don't understand this technical stuff I don't know what that is!  (I told you I'm clueless!)
    Message was edited by: Donna ....I had additional information

    First, thank you for a very good and detailed description of your problem; so few people provide any information when asking for help.
    Trying to reproduce; the first of your links works fine on Firefox, PaleMoon, and Internet Explorer.
    The second link only shows a blue screen after the ad (on the same three browsers)
    What is your installed Flash Player version?  See Flash Player Help | Flash Player Help
    Can you also try on a different browser such as Internet Explorer?

  • Can't add markers to SOME subclips but can add them to others

    Hi. First time poster, I hope I'm not accidentally posting this in the wrong section. I have scoured the discussions for this problem or I wouldn't dry your eyeballs with this.
    Suddenly, right in the middle of editing, I can no longer ADD markers to some specific clips in my bin. It is the oddest thing. In anticipation of questions, I'll give every detail I can conjure, I hope I'm not being too verbose but it's a very puzzling situation.
    - The "problem" subclips, to which I can suddenly no longer add markers, at one point had completely normal marker functionality. There's pre-existing markers on these clips that are now no longer editable (with the M or ` key), and every marker menu item under mark -> markers is greyed out, EXCEPT for "add" and "delete all..." neither of which work on the problem clips anyway. These are all functions that work as usual on the non-problem clips.
    - Within the problem subclips, I can still navigate to the next and previous markers, with shortcut keys and menu commands. But when I hit M on a marker in a problem clip, nothing happens. And when I hit M in a "blank" space in a problem clip, again, nothing happens, i.e., no marker is added. Nor do the menu commands pertaining to markers function.
    - the clips in question are subclips, but so are the clips that have absolutely no problem with marker functionality.
    - the clips not having this problem, which outnumber those that do, are not only in the same format, same media, same compression, from the same tape, captured in the same session and on the same drive but are even from the same "master clip" as their problematic siblings.
    - the master clip in question has normal marker functionality.
    - brand new subclips from that master clip have normal marker functionality, even if their in and out points are identical to the problem subclips...but then again, that's not surprising, since the old ones had "normal births," too.
    - if I copy and paste the problem subclips in the bin, the copies have the same problem.
    - if I "duplicate as new master clip" the problem subclips in the bin, the duplicates have the same problem.
    - I can still edit the markers on the problem clips by right-clicking the drop-down list of markers IN THE BIN and selecting "edit." I can also delete them there by selecting them in the bin and hitting the delete key.
    - doing so does not enable me to add more markers. Which reminds me:
    - I am not doing something weird with markers - even if there was a quota on markers, I imagine I'm nowhere near it. it just seems like I'm the "crazy marker guy" because you're reading six pages of me talking about markers. I'm not the crazy marker guy. I'm an ordinary man with a crazy marker problem. I use markers the way you do. I mark the beginnings of takes and noteworthy reactions, etc....there's maybe an average of 15 note markers in each subclip, but plenty of "functioning" subclips from the same master clip have more markers than the problem ones.
    - yeah, I quit and restarted FCP. And my computer. Yeah, my "M" key works (look how many times I've used it), My mouse is plugged in, I combed my hair, my software's not stolen, I purged my render files and, believe it or not, I only had one coffee this morning.
    - I haven't been working with FCP so long that I can say I have or haven't had this problem with non subclips. I've only done a couple projects with FCP so far...this one is not unusual in comparison, but this is definitely the first problem I've ever had with FCP.
    - If you have read this far, you are hero not just to me, but to all of humanity.
    - if you have the solution, you are a God or I am an idiot, I am praying for either to be the case and I'm not picky. Seriously, thanks in advance to anyone that wastes their brain on this.

    Figure I may as well update this thread with the different things I try. I know this makes for compelling reading and I don't want to deny you the story.
    - I deleted the Final Cut plist file from the preferences folder, which not only had no impact on the problem, but no apparent impact on Final Cut, which is weird, but, one riddle at a time.
    - I went through my autosave vault on the scratch disk, which deepened the confusion for me: each of the three problem-clips had a specific time before and after they became frozen to marker activity. I loaded the autosaved project from 11 am, for instance, and apparently, at that time, the most recent clip to become marker-locked was still working fine, but the other two weren't. A few hours earlier than that, only one of them had the problem, and at about 6:30 this morning, the problem didn't exist.
    An important thing to note is that the order in which these clips became marker-locked follows the order in which I went through them, marked their takes and moved on.
    I didn't notice the problem with any of them until much later - when a creative shift prompted me to add some new marks, at which point I realized that for three of my clips, I couldn't.
    So, if this problem is being triggered by me, it's happening not during actual marking (I would have noticed), but during the things I do with marked clips, namely shuttling through them with the JKL keys, jumping to each of the markers, setting in and out points and inserting them into the timeline.
    Is there some key it's possible for a less than attentive, sleep deprived, FCP newbie to hit, during that activity, that "locks" the current clip to the addition and adjustment of markers? As sensitive as my ego is, I really want this to be my fault so I can learn the problem and avoid it forever. I don't want to think there's some supernatural time bomb glitch in the one copy of FCP I bought that causes random clips to slowly dry like cement after which they can never be marked again.

  • How to populate rows from another table in new blank rows of other table

    I have to convert an oracle form 6i to Jdeveloper application. In forms 6i we use create a cursor for other table and then populate the current table data block row using create record and assigning its values from cursor and then issuing next record until all cursor records are written in data block. After some manual editing we save the whole form and then all block records are saved as new rows in table.
    Now how to create this functionality in jdeveloper application.
    Kindly help.

    two steps-
    1. get row from first VO.iterate them - like below -
    DCBindingContainer bindings = (DCBindingContainer)BindingContext.getCurrent().getCurrentBindingsEntry();
                                    DCIteratorBinding dcIteratorBindings = bindings.findIteratorBinding("ViewObj1Iterator");
                                    HSSFRow  excelrow = null;
                                            // Get all the rows of a iterator
                                            oracle.jbo.Row[] rows = dcIteratorBindings.getAllRowsInRange();
                                        int i = 0;
                                                for (oracle.jbo.Row row : rows) {
                                                                                                                    row.getAttribute(colName).toString());  // by this you can get row attribute value..
    2. inside iteration create row for VO 2 for example-
    ViewObject employee= findViewObject("EmployeeVO");
    // Create a row and fill in the columns.
    Row row = employee.createRow();
    row.setAttribute("Name", "Vinay");
    row.setAttribute("EmpId", 1);
    //Insert row in to the default row set
    employee.insertRow(row);

    Hi,
    At last i was able to insert the data into the table but here i am facing another problem i the csv file i am having some null values in the data because of that only few records was inserted and remaining data was not inserted.
    Here is the syntax what i am using to insert even null values are present
        ACH_EFFECTIVE_DATE "to_timestamp(:ACH_EFFECTIVE_DATE,'DD-MON-RR HH.MI.SSXFF AM')" NULLIF ACH_EFFECTIVE_DATE=BLANKSand the error what i am getting is

  • Table has 85 GB data space, zero rows

    This table has only one column. I ran a transaction that inserted more than a billion rows into this table but then rolled it back before completion.
    This table currently has zero rows but a select statement takes about two minutes to complete, and waits on I/O.
    The interesting thing here is that previous explanations to this were ghost records in case of deletes,
    there are none. m_ghostRecCnt is zeroed for all data pages.
    This is obviously not a situation in which the pages were placed in a deferred-drop queue either, or else the page count would be decreasing over time, and it is not.
    This is the output of DBCC PAGE for one of the pages:

    Querying the allocation units system catalog shows that all pages are counted as "used".
    I saw some articles, such as the ones listed bellow, which addresses similar situations where pages arent deleted in a HEAP after a delete operation. It turns out pages are only deleted in a table when a table level lock is issued.
    http://blog.idera.com/sql-server/howbigisanemptytableinsqlserver/
    http://www.sqlservercentral.com/Forums/Topic1182140-392-1.aspx
    https://support.microsoft.com/kb/913399/en-us
    To rule this out, I inserted another 100k rows which caused no change on page counts, and then deleted all entries with a TABLOCK query hint. Only one page was deleted.
    So, it appears we have a problem with pages that were created during a transaction that was rolled back, huh? I guess rolling back a transaction doesn't take certain physical factors into consideration.
    I've looked everywhere but couldn't find a satisfactory answer to this. Does anybody have any ideas?
    Just because there are clouds in the sky it doesn't mean it isn't blue. Some people would disagree.

    And this is the reason why you should have heaps (unless your name is Thomas Kejser :-).
    Try TRUNCATE TABLE. Or ALTER TABLE tbl REBUILD.
    Erland Sommarskog, SQL Server MVP, [email protected]
    I rebuilt the HEAP a while ago, and then all pages were gone. I don't know if TRUNCATE would have the same results, I would have to repeat the test to find that out. There are many ways to fix the problem itself, including creating a clustered index as Satish
    suggested.
    Id like to focus on this interesting fact I wanted to bring to the table for discussion: You open a transaction, insert a huge load of records and then roll back. Why would the engine leave the pages created during the transaction behind? More specifically,
    why would they not be marked as "free pages" if they are all empty? Why are they not marked as free so scans would skip them and not generate a lot of I/O throughput and long response times just to query a zero row table? Isn't this like a design
    flaw or a bug?
    Just because there are clouds in the sky it doesn't mean it isn't blue. But someone will come and argue that in addition to clouds, birds, airplanes, pollution, sunsets, daltonism and nuclear bombs, all adding different colours to the sky, this
    is an undocumented behavior and should not be relied upon.

  • Sorting of data in a Table

    Hi
    I am displaying some data in a table, but when i sort any column of the table output, it is giving preference to the rows which are in Capital letter then it is considering small.
    Eg:
    A
    B
    C
    a
    b
    c
    Is there any work around to make the sort as:
    A
    a
    B
    b
    C
    c
    Regards,
    Trikanth

    Hi Trikanth,
    Ok by default you can not sort it like you wanted. A workaround could a function module which sorts it like you want. When a user click on the sort function (table header) then it sorted based on ASCII that's correct. I'm sorry to say that it is not possible to disable the default sort function. This is something which I also need for some apps.
    Another question. Which data service returns you the data? If it is a RFC you can modify it, so that the data sorted as you want or otherwise you can modify the data, e.g. that everything is in lower case or in caps, therefore you can use a VC function UPPER().
    Best Regards,
    Marcel
