EXPDP ORA-39006: internal error (Windows to Linux)

Hello, I have the error ORA-39006 in this situation:
I have a Client 10gR1 into a Windows machine, and I have an Oracle Database 10.1.0.5.0 in other server with Linux which I want export Data Pump.
The Database have a directory called DTPUMP that points to the windows machine (because this directory is mounted by cifs).
Until this all is OK, but when I execute:
D:\Clientes\Ora10g\BIN\expdp.exe system/<password>@srvdb01-girprtes FULL=Y DIRECTORY=DTPUMP DUMPFILE=SRVDB01-GIRPRTESDP.dmp
appear the following error:
Export: Release 10.1.0.2.0 - Production on Jueves, 02 Julio, 2009 12:31

Conectado a: Oracle Database 10g Release 10.1.0.5.0 - 64bit Production
ORA-39006: internal error
I was investigating but I don´t find an specific solution or if this is possible with this version of Oracle Client and Database.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Hi, I discover that the problem is when I try to do export Data Pump into a directory mounted, becuase if I change for other local directory the export Data Pump works fine.
And the export.log show this errors when I try to do this into a directory mounted:
ORA-39097: Data Pump job encountered unexpected error -31643
ORA-39065: unexpected master process exception in FILE
ORA-31643: unable to close dump file "/mnt/rman/expdp_VSEVOTES.dmp"
ORA-19510: failed to set size of 1 blocks for file "/mnt/rman/expdp_VSEVOTES.dmp" (blocksize=4096)
ORA-27045: unable to close the file
Linux-x86_64 Error: 5: Input/output error
Any suggestions?

  • Expdp fails with error ORA-39006: internal error writing on a windows share

    Hi!
I need to get the following configuration working:
Linux Server (CentOS 5 32 bits) with Oracle 11.2.0.1.0
    Windows Server 2003 SP2 32 bits.
On the windows server I have created a user called oracle, who is member of oinstall and dba groups. (On Linux username, and group membership is the same).
After that, I share a directory on D:\data_pump (I gave the full control of directory to oracle user). I mount the windows share on my linux as follows:
    mount -t cifs //winserver/data_pump /u04/oradata/data_pump -o user=oracle,password="pass",uid=oracle,gid=oinstall
As the linux oracle user I'm capable of create and edit files, but:
I connect to my database, create the directory called DATA_PUMP pointing to my cifs mount point, and, after that, I issue the following expdp sentence:
    expdp system DIRECTORY=DATA_PUMP DUMPFILE=test4.dmp LOGFILE=test4.log FULL=yes
And I get the following error:
    ORA-39006: internal error
Looking at expdp log I found the following information:
ORA-39097: Data Pump job encountered unexpected error -31643
ORA-39065: unexpected master process exception in FILE
ORA-31643: unable to close dump file "/u04/oradata/data_pump/gaston4.dmp"
ORA-19510: failed to set size of 1 blocks for file "/u04/oradata/data_pump/gaston4.dmp" (block size=4096)
ORA-27045: unable to close the file
    Linux Error: 5: Input/output error
    Additional information: 4
    Do you have any suggestions?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

I've checked /etc/hosts. It contains the exact same info as my archived copy (that I saved before updating Linux). My /etc/profile.local file is also exactly the same; all pertinent variables are exported. So can someone please give me some other reasons for why the DB would disconnect?
    Thanks for your replies!

You can verify if your system can lookup its hostname using ping:
    [root@cfengine ~]# hostname
    cfengine
    [root@cfengine ~]# ping -c 1 cfengine
PING cfengine (10.0.0.1) 56(84) bytes of data.
    64 bytes from cfengine (10.0.0.1): icmp_seq=1 ttl=64 time=0.026 ms
    --- cfengine ping statistics ---
1 packets transmitted, 1 received, 0% packet loss, time 0ms
    rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 0.026/0.026/0.026/0.000 ms
Above example shows a hostname (cfengine) which could be resolved; a hostname is used and the ping utility was able to resolve the ip address (10.0.0.1). Please mind that the actual function of the ping utility is to test host connectivity using the ICMP protocol, but because ping needs to resolve the ip address of a hostname to do so, it can be used to see if a hostname exists. There are much other methods to do so.
    [root@cfengine ~]# ping -c 1 nonexistent
    ping: unkown host nonexistent
Above example shows a hostname (nonexistent) which could not be resolved.
If a hostname can not be resolved, the hostname should be made resolvable. The most easy way to do so is by adding the ip address and hostname to /etc/hosts:
    [root@cfengine ~]# ifconfig | grep inet
    inet addr:10.0.0.1 Bcast:10.0.0.255 Mask:255.255.255.0
    inet6 addr: fe08::a00:27ff:fe40:ec86/64 Scope:Link
    inet addr:127.0.0.1 Mast:255.0.0.0
    inet6 addr: ::1/128 Scope:Host
The ip address, 10.0.0.1 in my case. Next, put this ip address and the hostname in /etc/hosts:
    [root@cfengine ~] echo "10.0.0.1 cfengine" >> /etc/hosts
Try ping again to see if the hostname can be resolved:
    [root@cfengine ~]# ping -c 1 cfengine
PING cfengine (10.0.0.1) 56(84) bytes of data.
    64 bytes from cfengine (10.0.0.1): icmp_seq=1 ttl=64 time=0.026 ms
    --- cfengine ping statistics ---
1 packets transmitted, 1 received, 0% packet loss, time 0ms
    rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 0.026/0.026/0.026/0.000 ms

Use SQL*Plus to execute SQL, PL/SQL and SQL*Plus statements.
    Usage 1: sqlplus -H | -V
-H             Displays the SQL*Plus version and the
                       usage help.
        -V             Displays the SQL*Plus version.
    Usage 2: sqlplus [ [<option>] [<logon>] [<start>] ]
      <option> is: [-C <version>] [-L] [-M "<options>"] [-R <level>] [-S]
-C <version>   Sets the compatibility of affected commands to the
version specified by <version>.  The version has
                       the form "x.y[.z]".  For example, -C 10.2.0
-F             Enables the failover mode for a RAC environment.
-L             Attempts to log on just once, instead of
                       reprompting on error.
-M "<options>" Sets automatic HTML markup of output.  The options
                       have the form:
HTML [ON|OFF] [HEAD text] [BODY text] [TABLE text]
                       [ENTMAP {ON|OFF}] [SPOOL {ON|OFF}] [PRE[FORMAT] {ON|OFF}]
-R <level>     Sets restricted mode to disable SQL*Plus commands
that interact with the file system.  The level can
                       be 1, 2 or 3.  The most restrictive is -R 3 which
disables all user commands interacting with the
                       file system.
-S             Sets silent mode which suppresses the display of
the SQL*Plus banner, prompts, and echoing of
                       commands.
      <logon> is: (<username>[/<password>][@<connect_identifier>] | /)
                  [AS SYSDBA | AS SYSOPER | AS SYSASM] | /NOLOG | [EDITION=value]
Specifies the database account username, password and connect
identifier for the database connection.  Without a connect
identifier, SQL*Plus connects to the default database.
The AS SYSDBA, AS SYSOPER and AS SYSASM  options are database
        administration privileges.
<connect_identifier> can be in the form of Net Service Name
        or Easy Connect.
          @[<net_service_name> | [//]Host[:Port]/<service_name>]
<net_service_name> is a simple name for a service that resolves
            to a connect descriptor.
Example: Connect to database using Net Service Name and the
database net service name is ORCL.
               sqlplus myusername/mypassword@ORCL
Host specifies the host name or IP address of the database
            server computer.
Port specifies the listening port on the database server.
<service_name> specifies the service name of the database you
            want to access.
Example: Connect to database using Easy Connect and the
                     Service name is ORCL.
               sqlplus myusername/mypassword@Host/ORCL
The /NOLOG option starts SQL*Plus without connecting to a
        database.
The EDITION specifies the value for Application
        Edition
      <start> is: @<URL>|<filename>[.<ext>] [<parameter> ...]
Runs the specified SQL*Plus script from a web server (URL) or the
local file system (filename.ext) with specified parameters that
will be assigned to substitution variables in the script.
When SQL*Plus starts, and after CONNECT commands, the site profile
(e.g. $ORACLE_HOME/sqlplus/admin/glogin.sql) and the user profile
(e.g. login.sql in the working directory) are run.  The files may
    contain SQL*Plus commands.
Refer to the SQL*Plus User's Guide and Reference for more information.

Duh, and of course I missed the significance of
    oracle 10 Xe in unix
XE is only supported for Linux - according to the downloads page that means "Debian, Mandriva, Novell, Red Hat and Ubuntu".
Oracle have not publically stated the reasons why XE is only available on Linux and Windows, but my guess is that it is something to do the Intel chip architecture. If this is so it would be possible for Oracle to port XE to run on Solaris for x86. But they have not done so yet.
Which means, alas, that you are unlikely to get any help for this one, because XE is not supported on any unix platform.
    Good luck, APC

  • ORA-00600: internal error code while drop package !

    Friends ,

again then I found the above error again . Now I am sure that  this 'package' is the main culprit .
Now would anyone please help me how I drop this package manually  ?

    Hi,
Glad to know that its solved.
The cause of this issue is not known. It is believed that importing into a database where these pipelined functions already exist may be the cause, but testing has failed to reproduce the problem.
In one of the bugs logged for a similar issue,  problem will normally happen only on upgrade and not under regular running of the DB. Therefore, it should be of relatively low impact to the real users. Also, Upgrading to 11g you shouldn't encounter this problem.

This is with a simple cube with only one dimension. i had created the same cube earlier with 10 dimensions but same error occurred. i felt it had to do with my setup of the cube. I have recreated the cube a couple of times with different names but same error exists. interestingly all dimensions are viewable after maintenance.
I am begining to doubt the efficacy of AWM + oracle OLAP in use for a production environment. i have been at this for quite some time but no solution yet. please i would appreciate anyhelp

Have you ever had any cube working in this environment? yes. i had created multiple versions of the same cube with fewer dimensions. I had created a cube (USAGE) with 5 dimensions, it worked. I later created same cube with 10 dimensions, that was the Genesis of the error. i had exported the eif file, deleted the awm, reimpored the awm, same errors. recreated the cube same error. i even tried recreating the cube wih one dimension but the same error persists.

Most of this type of errors (ORA-600) you need report to Oracle Support or check the metalink for released fix or possible workaround.
Anyway this error is fixed in:
    10.1.0.4 patchset
9.2.0.7 patchset (released for Windows only, for other platforms expecting soon)
    10gR2 (not released yet)

To enable tracing at the server, find the sqlnet.ora file for the server and create the following lines in it:
    TRACE_TIMESTAMP_SERVER = ON
    TRACE_LEVEL_SERVER = 16
    TRACE_UNIQUE_SERVER = ON
    后,本来3113 的查询可以正常出来了,但是关闭trace后,又不正常了。
    Solution
问题最终定位在 CISCO ASA 防火墙的 SQLNet inspect,关闭就OK了。

ORA-00600 12333 usually means there was a communications error between the client and server. If you kill a session or perform a shutdown while a users connected you could potentially get this error. There's other reasons too. I think you're probably right that Oracle support will tell you to upgrade if you file a TAR with them.
Did this error crash your database or does it happen frequently? If the answer is no then I wouldn't worry about it unless the end user has said something about it. If this is a problem then I'd contact Oracle support.
I'm also running 8.1.7.2 and get maybe 1-2 of these errors a month from the same PC. In our case this error didn't correspond with a database shutdown or a killed session. We also tried reinstalling the client software and this didn't fix it either. I think our error may be because of this one PC being on a very old part of our network that probably needs upgrading.

  • ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kokvxsql1], [], [], [], [], []

    Hi all,
    I'm getting Oracle internal error:
    "ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kokvxsql1], [], [], [], [], [], [],[]"
when I'm trying to drop a user from my DB. The tablespace related to the user is getting dropped easily whereas the user itself is not getting dropped. I'm getting the following errors alternatingly when trying to drop the user:
    ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kokvxsql1], [], [], [], [], [], [],[]
ORA: internal error code arguments [4814][5][0][0][][][][]
ORA: 04043 Object :<object_name(OBJECT_TYPE='TYPE')> does not exist.
I'm trying to refresh the schema and so have to drop the schema and the tablespace. The tablespace has no problems in getting dropped but the user has. :-(..
    please help ASAP.
Thanks a lot in advance for any suggestions/solutions.

I thinks its the Index block corrupt - So you have following options
    1) Apply the patch - which is possible by seeing the exact bud
    2) Try to recover the block
    3) Try to drop and recreate the index - If its a non sys object.
You need to check and populate V$DATABASE_BLOCK_CORRUPTION for blocks which are marked corrupt.
Use dbv, rman validate commands to populate V$DATABASE_BLOCK_CORRUPTION view
Use - Identify the corruption extension using RMAN/DBV/ANALYZE etc [ID 836658.1] note for identifying the blocks that are corrupt.

    Hi
    I am using Oracle 8i. ( 8.1.7)

Application was developed in VB / Oracle.
Application was stable for a long time.Suddenly We are getting this message.
    ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [ktsircinfo_num1], [7], [8], [4162759], [], [], [], []
while accessing a table. I can't even drop this table.
It has got an index. That index initial segemnt was disabled when I look thru DBA studio.
If anybody knows solution to this, please let me know.
    Renga

Yes. Analyze table creates this problem. Fortunately I could rename this table. (Thanks to Oracle Technical support.) It solves the problem.
    Thanks for the reply.

My DB work in archive log mode.
How can I fix this error?

    suadhm wrote:
    My DB is : ORACLE V10.2.0.1.0 - 64bit
    OS is: Windows 2003 Server.
But I think that is no matter. My DB was working almost 3 year now. This information does matter as Oracle internal error codes have different meanings in different versions.
I started to receive this error in alert log file at May 28.
Refer metalink note 47449.1 for this problem.
