For Save XML I using Code A :-
  Public Sub BusinessPartnerSave_XML()
        Dim oBP As SAPbobsCOM.BusinessPartners
          oCompany.XmlExportType = SAPbobsCOM.BoXmlExportTypes.xet_ValidNodesOnly
       oBP = oCompany.GetBusinessObject(SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oBusinessPartners)
        oBP.GetByKey("BNK0001")
        oBP.SaveXML("BusinessPartnerXML" & ".xml")
        MessageBox.Show("File Saved")
End Sub
For Import I using Code B :-
   Private Sub CreateBusinessPartnerwithXML()
        Dim sXmlFileName As String
        Dim iElementCount As Long
        Dim iCounter As Long
        sXmlFileName = IO.Directory.GetParent(System.Windows.Forms.Application.StartupPath).ToString & "\xml\BusinessPartnerXML.xml"
        iElementCount = oCompany.GetXMLelementCount(sXmlFileName)
        MsgBox(iElementCount & " Elemnts found in xml file" & vbNewLine & "Ready To Satrt Transaction")
        oCompany.StartTransaction()
        For iCounter = 0 To iElementCount - 1
            oCompany.XmlExportType = SAPbobsCOM.BoXmlExportTypes.xet_ValidNodesOnly
            Select Case oCompany.GetXMLobjectType(sXmlFileName, iCounter)
                Case SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oBusinessPartners
                    oBusinessPartner = oCompany.GetBusinessObjectFromXML(sXmlFileName, iCounter)
                    oBusinessPartner.Add()
                Case SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oOrders
                    oSalesOrder = oCompany.GetBusinessObjectFromXML(sXmlFileName, iCounter)
                    oSalesOrder.Add()
            End Select
            oCompany.GetLastError(lErrCode, sErrMsg)
            If lErrCode <> 0 Then
                MsgBox("Error Message: " & sErrMsg & vbNewLine & "Transaction will be rolled back")
                Exit Sub
            End If
        Next iCounter
        oCompany.EndTransaction(SAPbobsCOM.BoWfTransOpt.wf_Commit)
        MsgBox("Data inserted successfully")
    End Sub
One thing If i edit same XML file manual and import then it work but it is not possible for large master data.
Please guide me where is the issue.so i can use this code.
Thanks

Hi Mavendra,
Have you tried to set the XmlExportMode to xet_ExportImportMode?
Does that work for you?

  • Help:Canadian Export and Import with GTS

    Hi all,
    Could you please explain as to how GTS is used in Canadian exports and imports. Is AES also used in Canada for export filing and how GTS is used in import process ie for import declarations in canada?
    Any help would greatly be appreciated.
    Thanks,

    Since customs has not been certified for Canada can GTS be used for Compliance Management for Canada? If yes what legal regulations are to be used?

  • Export and Import with different environments

    Gurus,
    Thanks for spending your time to read this thread. I have a table with say 100 rows in development area. I need only 10 rows to be moved to Quality. For example, user/pwd@D1 is the user login detail during export.
    user/pwd@F1 should be the login for Import.
    Is that possible?
    Here D1 and F1 are tow different Oracle databases altogether. The table definitions in both the databases are same. And for your information, the schema names are same in bothe the dabatases (user).

  • ECC Client export and import with BW data model

    Dear BW Expert,
      We are now have BW QAS system which is connecting to ECC600QAS.
      Now we are going to:
         First  >> Export data ECC600QAS.
         Second Drop this client
         Third Create client with the same logical name as ECC600QAS and then import again with the same logical system name is ECC600QAS. Ofcourse we will re-establish again connection between ECC600QAS and BW QAS.
      In this case, do we need to create all data model or mapping data in BW again. Please help on this.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Kim Cheo.

    Hi Reddy,
      All your notes do not mention anything about in case Client refresh with the same logical name.
      Our case is that we do:
          Step 1:         Export client logical name is "ECC600QAS".
          Step 2:         Drop client "ECC600QAS"
          Step 3:         Import again and create the same client logical name "ECC600QAS".
          In this case do we need to create again all data model, mappying rule or transformation.
          Really, I can not found any idea there in all your note.

  • How to export and import with settings intact?

    I noticed that my iphoto library folder in the finder is 2x the size of the 7GB that is displayed in the iphoto application. I then went to my iphoto folder in finder and see that photos that I have deleted long ago are still there (no wonder it's so big)
    Anyways what I want to do is export the photos in my iphoto program and have all the settings including keywords and event folders intact so all can be the same when I import them again.
    I am doing this because when I export the photos to a folder I will then delete all the pictures in the iphoto folder in the finder window and then import the photos I exported so I have only the pics I want.
    Please advise thanks.

    Dorian
    Try using the Rebuild command with iPhoto Library Manager - read the help on that app to see exactly what it does, but it should create a new library leaving the trashed pics behind.

  • XML Export and Import

    Hi
         I knew that BW  metadata can be trasformed using XML Using export and Imoport but how to make selection of set of  BW objects through metadata export and import in XML format.
         For example i would like to export some 10 infoobjects to the PC WORK Station and would like to Import  the same XML file to another BW system.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    You can do it from RSA1 -> Transport Connection.
    Under XML->Export, choose "InfoObjects by Application components". Then select the ones that you need to export and drag on the right pane.
    Once you finish collecting all the InfoObjects, click on the "Export as XML" button and it will generate the XML.
    Hope this helps.

  • Export and import of Apps EUL

    I have a Apps EUL and use an Apps user id to work in Discoverer Administrator. This is what the Oracle documentation says and it has been working fine.
    Now I want to export the EUL but when I start the process I get a message that the user does not have access to all the objects and that only the accessible objects will be exported. Shouldn't the Discoverer Manager/Administrator be able to do a full export?
    To get around this problem, I have now been advised to use a database user (the EUL owner) to do the export and import with. Is this the correct way? The Oracle documentation suggest that a database user should never administrate the Apps EUL. Are exporting and importing somehow exluded form this rule?
    Thanks!

    Hi Aparna!
    The Apps EUL was created using a database user. Since then, the EUL has been administered by a Apps user that is dedicated to EUL administration.
    The documentation actually recommend that you create the Apps EUL with a database user and from there on administer the Apps EUL with the Apps user SYSADMIN. My company policy doesn't allow me to use SYSADMIN so I have a "custom" Apps user that I use to do all EUL administration. If at all possible, you should try to use SYSADMIN.
    The guides and website don't really have a step by step guidance as far as I can remember, more explanatory. I would suggest an email to Michael Armstrong-Smith of the learndiscoverer website. He has helped me alot with this particular subject!

  • Import data of business partner with elm

    Hi,
    when I create a business partner, I have to fill out some mandatory fields.
    Mandatory fields (SAP CRM standard fields):
    name, street, house no, postal code, city
    Mandatory field (field which created by us):
    searchterm
    I want to import data of business partner with elm. In the first step I want create a mapping format only with the mandatory fields. At this point, I get a problem. I can select all mandatory fields in the mapping field, but not the self created mandatory field u201Csearchtermu201D.
    Do somebody know, what I have to do that the self created field stands in the mapping format for selection?
    Thank you in advance!
    Best regards
    Jasmin Hauser

    Hi Jasmin,
    The following is the procedure to use the ELM functionality in CRM 2007:
    a) Store .csv file on local machine or SAP directory (Line1 will be your field name to map for the first time)
    b) Activate Work Flows in tcode: OOCU (check building block c22)
    c) Enhance BADI - CRM_MKTLIST_BADI, structure CRM_MKTLIST_PER_EXT with "Z" custom fields (note this BADI is filter dependent, which means - the mapping formats created needs to be added in this BADI to function)
    d) Define List type and Origin in customizing (SPRO-CRM-MKT-ELM)
    e) Create Mapping Format (WEBUI -> MKT_Professional business role)
    f) Add Mapping Format to BADI (CRM_MKTLIST_BADI)(tcode-se19. Note: Deactivate the BADI before adding Mapping Format and Activate BADI again)
    g) Implement SAP Note: 915015 to create the ELM Members in business partner role "Prospect"
    h) Create the External List (WEBUI->MKT_Professional business role). Use the mapping format created, make sure that your .csv file don't not have the fields name, data to upload should be in the same order as mapping format fields)
    Cheers,
    Peter J.

  • Is it possible to replace masters with versions without going through the process of exporting and importing?

    Is it possible to overwrite the master files with the versions without having to go through the entire process of exporting and importing back the images?
    Thnx in advance

    A small refinement if you shoot RAW. Remember, no RAW file can ever be edited or rewritten. Thus, in the old days, the flow was:
    RAW>TIFF/PSD and you ended up with two large files. (This is why some folks used to delete the RAW Masters.)
    With Aperture the flow is something like:
    RAW+Version(s) Only the Version is only 30 KB. (There is, of course, additional overhead of Thumbs and Previews, but, depending on your settings, this is only a fraction of the size of a TIFF or PSD.)
    You question goes right to the heart of the concept of a non-destructive workflow. With Aperture you always preserve your original Master file; the only things that are ever at risk are your edits (called Adjustments). Ironically, this is even more valuable if you shoot JPEG or TIFF as those files could be rewritten.)
    Aperture goes to great lengths to give you the best of both worlds; you always have the Master to revert to and your "edits" take up very little disk space. And you don't have to waste time trying to sync folders of RAW, TIFF, and JPEG. Similarly, you never have to worry about resizing images, changing color spaces, or any number of other things that get locked into an image file when you use a destructive workflow.
    Remember, Aperture will happily Export files in any format you may need. Export 'em, use 'em, delete 'em - your Masters are still safe in Aperture.

    Old EXP IMP doesnt have capability to append the row, since you're using 10g use datapump instead. use option TABLE_EXISTS_ACTION=APPENDso my import should be like this
    imp "'/ as sysdba'" file=Table1_1006.dmp fromuser=user1 touser=user1 tables=Table1 log=imp_Table1_1006.log TABLE_EXISTS_ACTION=APPEND
    Did you look up the command line syntax and control options for imp?
    You should make it a habit that whenever anyone - especially a stranger on the web - gives you a bit of code or references a command or init parm or any some such, the VERY FIRST thin you should ALWAYS do is look it up for yourself and see exactly where and how it is used and what it means. That is how you grow beyond having to be spoon fed every little thing and become more self-sufficient.
    If you had, you would have seen that there is no TABLE_EXISTS_ACTION option for imp and seen that it is an option for impdp. And realized that exp and imp are NOT the same thing as expdp and impdp.

    Learning how to look things up in the documentation is time well spent investing in your career. To that end, you should drop everything else you are doing and do the following:
    Go to tahiti.oracle.com.
    Drill down to your product and version.
    <b><i><u>BOOKMARK THAT LOCATION</u></i></b>
    Spend a few minutes just getting familiar with what is available here. Take special note of the "books" and "search" tabs. Under the "books" tab you will find the complete documentation library.
    Spend a few minutes just getting familiar with what <b><i><u>kind</u></i></b> of documentation is available there by simply browsing the titles under the "Books" tab.
    Open the Reference Manual and spend a few minutes looking through the table of contents to get familiar with what <b><i><u>kind</u></i></b> of information is available there.
    Do the same with the SQL Reference Manual.
    Do the same with the Utilities manual.
    You don't have to read the above in depth. They are <b><i><u>reference</b></i></u> manuals. Just get familiar with <b><i><u>what</b></i></u> is there to <b><i><u>be</b></i></u> referenced. Ninety percent of the questions asked on this forum can be answered in less than 5 minutes by simply searching one of the above manuals.
    Then set yourself a plan to dig deeper.
    - Read a chapter a day from the Concepts Manual.
    - Take a look in your alert log. One of the first things listed at startup is the initialization parms with non-default values. Read up on each one of them (listed in your alert log) in the Reference Manual.
    - Take a look at your listener.ora, tnsnames.ora, and sqlnet.ora files. Go to the Network Administrators manual and read up on everything you see in those files.
    - When you have finished reading the Concepts Manual, do it again.

    The conversion between the character sets on the two servers are handled automatically. Export from one server will export the data given the character set defined on that server. Import into another server will import the data given the character set defined on that server, performing a conversion if necessary. This can be a problem when going from single-byte to a multi-byte character set. • Exporting and Importing Virtual servers with Windows 2012 R2 Hyper V

    Hi
    We are looking for various options / best practice in exporting and importing VSs between Windows 2012 R2 servers. Live migration we tested between servers in same VLAN and it's fine, but some servers are in different VLAN and hardware firewall is there
    in between. So we exported the VS and while importing it, there is no option to export each Virtual disk to separate partitions / LUNs. Is it fine to create a new VS in the new server and just copy the VDs from the other HV host server, or exporting and importing
    is the only proper method?
    Thanks in advance
    LMS

    Hi Laljeev,
    Please allow me to state my understanding of the two methods :
    1.when you want to copy vhd you may need to shutdown the VM , further more if there is some snapshots I think it will be a  trouble .
    2.  "export" you still need to shutdown VM but it doesn't have the trouble with snapshots .
    The other way I will use is , "move"  all of the VM's data to external disk then import it into destination hyper-v server (it can decrease the off-line time of VMs).

    Hi,
    Is there a tool that exports and imports Planning Web Forms with securities?
    Besides Planning FormDefUtil.cmd
    OS: Windows2003
    Planning Version: 921
    Thx

    I don't think there is any one utility that exports both forms AND security. In version 9.3.1, the ExportSecurity.cmd will export dimensional security and form security. However I seem to recall that earlier versions only gave you the dimensional security, and not the form security. Unfortunately, I don't recall at which version the change was made.
    Have you given the ExportSecurity.cmd utility a shot?
    Hope this helps,
