Export PDF to Excel from adobe/cloud hosted document

Hi,
I am working with several files of ~50MB from a remote location with a poor internet connection. When trying to do the upload & export/conversion from PDF to excel, I get getting errors to the effect that service was un available ot network problem so I decided to upload my files to the Adobe file store thinking it would then be quicker and more reliable to apply the conversion on the hosted files through the web interface.
But....................from the file store menu, I cant see any option to convert/export the file and from the ExportPDF menu, I can only choose files from my local system to upload again!!??
Please help.

Hi Ronald Boone Mill,
Did you use the ExportPDF service to convert the file to Excel? Or did you use Acrobat?
Can you please tell me a bit about how the file was created? If you don't know, you can see what created it by choosing File > Properties, and looking at the PDF Producer on the Description tab. The quality of the conversion depends on how well the PDF was written, and some third-party PDF producers may not include all the information necessary to ensure a clean conversion.
If the file wasn't created from a scanned PDF, you may have better luck by disabling OCR as described in this document: How to disable Optical Character Recognition (O... | Adobe Community

  • I just purchased Export PDF to Excel and it does not export anything usable. Your terminology should not be "export" but paste image, which is of no value. Please cancel my account and refund my money. What a shame you would advertise this as a product.

  • Security message on exporting grid to excel from webpage

    I am exporting data to excel from grid on a webpage. I have written following code:
    gv.DataSource = resultlist;
    gv.DataBind();
    Response.ClearContent();
    Response.AddHeader("content-disposition", "attachment; filename=Test.xls");
    Response.ContentType = "application/excel";
    //Ccreate string writer object and pass it to HtmlTextWriter object
    StringWriter sw = new StringWriter();
    HtmlTextWriter htw = new HtmlTextWriter(sw);
    gv.RenderControl(htw);
    Response.Write(sw.ToString());
    Response.End();
    Code is executing correctly. But when I open this excel, it is giving me a warning message which says, "The file you are trying to open, "Test.xls", is in a different format than specified by the file extension. Verify that the file is not
    corrupted and is from a trusted source before opening the file. Do you want to open the file now?"
    File gets opened when I select "Yes" on this message box, but I don't want to get this message box. Is there any work-around to get rid of it? When I selected "Save As" option of this file, I found that default type of the file was Webpage.
    How can we get this default type as "xls or xlsx"? I think this problem will be resolved when we will get this default type as "xls or xlsx".

    My Premier Pro software that I get from Adobe Cloud subscription, no longer RENDERS.  How can I speak with Tech support to remedy this problem?

    For several hundred productions, Pr CS6 worked perfectly for me.  Now, for some unknown reason, when I attempt to render video, the render progress window continually shows more and more frames to be processed.  Therefore when I get to 80% rendered it drops back to 70% and increases the total frames in the render.... over and over, so that I never get past 99% rendered... regardless of how long I let it process.

  • Export pdf to excel

    Is anyone having issues with exporting to excel?  I am trying out the trial version Acrobat 10 X pro and I cannot get the pdf to export to excel with all the tables in tact .  Some of the tables convert to excel fine where others do not. My PDF is 45 pages and in table format, there is also text out side the tables. Any help would be appreciated.   Thanks

    It is possible to export from PDF to Excel, with the format still intact, using Cogniview's software suite PDF2XL.  It allows you to define the PDF to XLS conversion layout.  You can preview, edit rows and cells, and determine the format of exported data.  Multiple page conversion is a good feature in this software, and you can also edit and convert the text outside the tables.
    Open your image file  -  mark the table  - convert the table to Excel.  It is that simple.

  • Converting PDF to excel using Adobe Acrobat Pro XI

    I am trying to convert long but simple PDFs to excel but I keep getting an error message. I have tried disabling OCR, but nothing. Some of my files are rather large, but smaller than 100MB. Any suggestions?

    Hi Sara,
    I'm working on an Imac 3.2GHz Intel Core i5 running OS X 10.9.5. Sometimes
    Acrobat just shuts down, sometimes it stops responding and I have to force
    quit, and other times I get this message: "Save as failed to process this
    document. No document was created".
    I don't know exactly how the PDFs were created, as they come from another
    institution. They look as if they were exported from excel though. The
    thing is I have several files, all with the same structure, from the same
    source, and the small ones were converted without a problem, but the large
    ones simply won't. I'm attaching one of the files, perhaps you can see for
    yourself something useful.
    Thanks,
    Mariana
