  • Export file is not a valid HTMLDB export file

    Hi All,
    I have a serious problem today when i want to import the exported application file to another workspace in other machine.Both workspace have same name & same schema in which application resides.I got the messages "export file is not a valid HTMLDB export file" .I have search thru the forum and have got several possibly solution.But i want to know what should be done to successfully build the application.Even after exporting file from different workspace and diff name from diff machine still i got the same error message.
    Any Ideas ?
    Thanks in advance ,
    Cheers,
    Eman

    I export an application resides in workspace HTMLDB_W in APP_OWN schema in database A version 9.2.0.1 and import that application to HTMLDB_W1 in APP_OWN schema
    in database B version 9.2.0.5.Both database have HTMLDB version 1.6.1.02.when importing file the files are successfully imported but after click on Install the "Application Install"
    region appears.Here the information shows below.....
    Logged Into Workspace: HTMLDB_W1
    Export File WorkspaceID:
    Export File Application:
    Export File Version:
    Export File Parse As Schema:
    Application Origin: This application was exported from another workspace.
    Parse As Schema :APP_OWN
    i select Run & build application then reuse my application ID .
    There is no other application in the same schema & workspace of same application ID.Also when export the file the Character set is Unicode -UTF & while importing i choose the same character set in DOS format.I change the options later but nothing helps me......
    I think since the export file version & workspace id cant detectable so the application fails with following error message ::
    1 error has occurred
    File is not a valid HTML DB application export file.
    Previously i use the same workspace later i changed the workspace so now the export & import workspace is different & import workspace ID: 658006861199719
    export file workspace ID : 689311213291671
    If need more information please revert back to me.

  • Exported file differs from that created in workspace

    Hi,
    I have created a 5 minute movie which is bookended by two different After Effects animations.
    When I preview the movie in CS4, and even in Media Encoder, it plays perfectly. However, the exported file (I have tried WMV and AVI) puts the introductory After Effects animation at the end of the movie as well, in place of the one which it is supposed to end with!
    I basically have my introcuctory animation both at the beginning and at the end, despite the fact that it doesn't appear this way in After Effects, Premiere CS4 or Media Encoder.
    Any clues?!
    Many thanks

    Are the AE Comps Dynamically Linked, or did your Export from AE, then Import them into PrPro?
    Good luck,

  • Error During INSTALL of Application Export File

    An error is reported during INSTALL of an application that I am trying to copy (Import/Install) from a "development" Work Space into a "production" Work Space. The production (target) Work Space is on the same HTML DB instance as the development Work Space.
    I am receiving the following INSTALL error:
    ORA-20001: GET_BLOCK Error. ORA-20001: GET_STMT error. ORA-20001: Execution of the statement was unsuccessful. ORA-06550: line 15, column 1: PLS-00103: Encountered the symbol ",'39','RD8','8','S','10','U','43','UD','41','UG','11','W')) END)" when expecting one of the following: . ( * @ % & = - + ; < / > at in is mod remainder not rem <an exponent (**)> <> or != or ~= >= <=
    Following is some pertinent (hopefully) information:
    The above INSTALL error takes exception to part of a Region Select (sql) that works fine in the development Work Space.
    The common HTML DB (v1.6) instance is on UNIX.
    A new Work Space was created on the same instance.
    A new schema name was created during creation of the new Work Space. However, this schema does not point to a database. (We were not certain how to setup the schema to parse to our live database.) I will be running DBLINK upon production application startup in order to access the database objects.
    EXPORT INFO -
    File Format: UNIX (also, tried DOS but received same error during INSTALL)
    IMPORT INFO -
    File Type: Application/Page Export
    File Character Set: Western European Windows 1252
    Target Work Space is newly created on the same HTML DB instance.
    INSTALL INFO -
    *Parse As Schema: COLLIVE17 (Again, this schema does not parse to a database. I intend to use DBLINK.)
    *Build Status: Run and Build Application
    Please refer to above error message.
    Again, any insights or suggestions are appreciated.

    Urgently need help! I've read several other Forum messages having a related problem but none having same Install error message.
    Again, my Export/Import from development Workspace to production Workspace is successful. The following error is reported when I attempt to "Install" into the production Workspace:
    ORA-20001: GET_BLOCK Error. ORA-20001: GET_STMT error. ORA-20001: Execution of the statement was unsuccessful. ORA-06550: line 15, column 1: PLS-00103: Encountered the symbol ",'39','RD8','8','S','10','U','43','UD','41','UG','11','W')) END)" when expecting one of the following: . ( * @ % & = - + ; < / > at in is mod remainder not rem <an exponent (**)> <> or != or ~= >= <=
    The "snippet" of Region Sql Select code that relates to the reported error is:
    ELSE htmldb_item.display_and_save (5, DECODE (GET_GRADE_B93 (sac.stc_final_grade,sac.stc_verified_grade),'18','AU','1','A','3','B','4','C','7','CR','5','D','46','DR','6','F','47','FW','49','IB','30','IC','31','ID','23','IF','44','MW','9','NC','21','RD','14','RD0','33','RD1','32','RD2','34','RD3','35','RD4','36','RD5','37','RD6','38','RD7','39','RD8','8','S','10','U','43','UD','41','UG','11','W'),'GRADE_'||ROWNUM) END q_v_grade,
    HTML DB version is: 1.6.0.00.67. I've also tried to Export/Import/Install the application into the "same" Workspace specifying the same schema, and only changing the Application ID. However, I get the same Install error (see above).
    Any suggestions on things to try in order to get application into production is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks, Bernard.

  • Apex 3.1.2.00.02 creates invalid export file (that gives ORA-20001 error)

    Hi
    I want to let you know, that sometimes APEX 3.1.2.00.0 creates invalid export file.
    Older apex 3.0 created correct file.
    For example: our application has page button, where "Optional URL Redirect" is:
    Page: &APP_PAGE_ID.
    Request: FLOW_XMLP_OUTPUT_R11531800061044170_et
    If we export application into file f110.sql and try to import it to the same workspace on the same server, we get error:
    {color:#0000ff}ORA-20001: GET_BLOCK Error. ORA-20001: Execution of the statement was unsuccessful. ORA-06550: line 28, column 111: PLS-00103: Encountered the symbol "_" when expecting one of the following: ) , * & | = - + < / > at in is mod remainder not rem => .. <an exponent (**)> <> or != or ~= >= <= <> and or like LIKE2_ LIKE4_ LIKEC_ as between from using || multiset member SUBMULTISET_ The symbol &a
    {color}In exported f110.sql file the invalid section is:
    {color:#0000ff}wwv_flow_api.create_page_branch(
    p_id=>11762805016890347 + wwv_flow_api.g_id_offset,

    Best Regards,
    Tõnu

    Thanks for pointing that out. We'll fix it. It does appear though, that in 3.0, the offset would not be added to the number part of the request value, so if you installed the application as a different application ID or into a different workspace, the request would have failed.

  • Differences between application export files

    Hello
    Background: I want to check if an application in DEV environment is exactly the same as the one in TEST environment. Both envs have Apex version 3.0.0.00.20, on Oracle EE 10g. To do this, I exported the application from both environments and I am doing a DIFF between the export files.
    Problem: The DIFF tool is finding lots of differences like the one below:
    '   "PR_QUOTES"."HDU_NIGHT_CHARGE" "HDU_NIGHT_CHA';
    s:=s||'RGE", '||chr(10)||
    '   "PR_QUOTES"."INPATIENT_NIGHTS_ADJ" "INPATIENT_NIGHTS_ADJ", '||chr(10)||
    '   "PR_QUOTES"."HDU_NIGHT_CHARGE" "HDU_NI';
    s:=s||'GHT_CHARGE", '||chr(10)||
    '   "PR_QUOTES"."INPATIENT_NIGHTS_ADJ" "INPATIENT_NIGHTS_ADJ", '||chr(10)||As you can see, the only difference is at which point the SELECT statement was broken in the attribution statement.
    This makes the DIFF tool a bit pointless. Why does this happen? Any way to fix it?
    Thanks,
    Luis

    Hi Paul
    I am well, hope you too!
    Thanks for the reply; that comparison report works well when both applications are in the same workspace, which is not my case.
    Of course, I could import one of the applications in the other workspace and compare them there. I will do it as the last resort, but I am still curious about why the difference between the exports! :-)
    Cheers,
    Luis

  • How to Export OLAP analytical workspaces

    Hi, experts:
    I am following Doc. Migrating OLAP From 32 Bits to 64 Bits or Across Platforms (Doc ID 352306.1) to export OLAP analytical workspaces.
    I copied and pasted the step 2. as below. But I donot understand some of them. Hope you can help me.
    1. What does this mean by: "(NOTE: this following statement is critical so everything in the AW is in STATUS)"?
    2. "Replace ALIAS_DIR with a defined directory alias"   This ALIAS_DIR can be anything on current directory?
    3. I have more 3 AW. So I have to run the following four scripts 3 times? I have to modify the export_file_name.eif  file name for each run, right?
    ========
    2.Use the following SQL commands, for EACH AW that was identified in step #1   (NOTE: All quotes are single quotes).  Caution: If you attach multiple AWs and then run the   export command, ONLY the last- attached AW will be exported. --- Replace OWNER.AW_NAME with the the actual OWNER.AW_NAME name SQL> exec dbms_aw.execute('aw attach OWNER.AW_NAME rw'); -- (NOTE: this following statement is critical so everything in the AW is in STATUS) SQL> exec dbms_aw.execute('allstat'); --- Replace ALIAS_DIR with a defined directory alias --- Replace export_file_name.eif with a valid eif file name SQL> exec dbms_aw.execute('export all to eif file ''ALIAS_DIR/export_file_name.eif '''); --- Replace OWNER.AW_NAME with the actual OWNER.AW_NAME name SQL> exec dbms_aw.execute('aw detach OWNER.AW_NAME');
    =======
    Thank you very much for your help.

    1. What does this mean by: "(NOTE: this following statement is critical so everything in the AW is in STATUS)"?
    This is just a note to the readers and you can simply run the sql statement as it is in the doc.
    2. "Replace ALIAS_DIR with a defined directory alias"   This ALIAS_DIR can be anything on current directory?
    Correct but you need to create the directory first -- See Error - EBS DB importing OLAP from 32 bit to 64 for the commands.
    3. I have more 3 AW. So I have to run the following four scripts 3 times? I have modify export_file_name.eif file name for each run, right?
    Correct.

  • Lightroom export file size: why so small? How can I maximize image quality?

    My image file sizes are much smaller after editing and exporting through Lightroom. Is it impossible to maintain original file size to preserve image quality? Will this smaller file size have negative impact on prints? Any help is appreciated!

    Jpgs should never be edited, except as a last resort. And it defeats the purpose of working with raw files if you export a jpg, and then edit it.
    Agreed. Unfortunately there are many cameras that only output JPEG format files. The camera file (or any other original JPEG file) is your "raw" unedited file inside LR. If you need to send the file to someone else for further editing who doesn't have LR then Exporting with 100% Quality setting might make sense. I say "might" because it's still possible to get very good results using lower Quality setting JPEGs if you only re-save the file one (1) time after further editing. I agree that 16 bit, ProPhoto RGB, TIFF Export files are best for "critical" work and when using 'Edit in Photoshop' from LR.
    I suggest taking a look at the JPEG compression image tests on Jeffrey Friedl's Blog. It's a wealth of information! LR's Quality settings range from 0% to 100% or 100 Quality levels. In reality there are only 13 Quality levels, which are the same as in PS.

    If someone gives me a jpg to edit, I always save it as a tiff and convert to 16-bit, to minimize furhter deterioration. I realize that this will not be true 16-bit - no information is added to the image - but my impression is that it will withstand heavy editing better, and not end up with a comb-like histogram.
    Why not simply Import the JPEG file into LR and do all your editing non-destructively? There's no need to convert the JPEG file to TIFF unless you need to use LR 'Edit in PS.' Lightroom uses a16 bit/color, ProPhoto RGB, Linear Gamma workspace for all images even when editing sRGB JPEG files.

  • Build option export to different workspace - problem

    Hi All,
    I have a page with two regions. Logically, the two regions are mutually exclusive, only one should ever appear. I've created a build option called "Simulated Login" and set the build option of region 1 to "{Not Simulated Login}" and the build option of region 2 to "Simulated Login". When I run the page and the build option is excluded, I see only region 1. When the build option is included, I see only region 2.
    I have a problem when I export my application to another workspace. Region 2's build option is still set the same as the original application, but region 1's build option is not set after the import - it should be "{Not Simulated Login}" but instead it is blank. Now, when I run the page and the build option is excluded, I see only region 1 and when it's included, I see both regions.
    In the meantime I'll create another build option as the obvious workaround - I'll just have to make sure that I keep the two build options set to the opposite of eachother!

I manually changed the export file so that Region 1 has the parameter:p_required_patch=> '-123207604215572408' - wwv_flow_api.g_id_offsetSo I subtract the offset for the build option on Region 1. Then I imported it and it worked correctly.
    Think this is a bug in Apex!

  • Import error: File is not a valid HTML DB export file

    Hi,
    This is driving me a bit nuts: I have made a change to a page and want to move it to another HTMLDB environment. I have 3 environments, DEV, TEST and PROD, they are all version 1.6.0.00.87. I export the page from DEV, then when I try and import it into TEST I get an error "File is not a valid HTML DB export file". The file looks OK to me, I have regenerated it several times, I have tried both DOS and UNIX formats, same result. How can I find out the root cause of this issue, I've been able to export/import individual pages without any problems up to now.
    Thanks,
    Steve

    This was tripping me up for a while too. Make sure that the workspace id (1236351 or some such large number) is the same across all environments. You can ensure this by taking a export of the DEV workspace itself from the Admin interface (login to workspace internal) and importing it into TEST and PROD.
    Once the workspace id is the same, you can export/import pages between them without a problem.
    Thanks

  • Lightroom 5 cannot export files in original Raw format (LR 5.4, Mac, OS 10.9.4).

    A client has the following problem: When trying to export files in the original Raw format (.CR2), the operation failed and a dialog informs us that "Some export operations were not performed". We can export JPEGs just fine.
    After lots of testing, this is what we discovered:  The problem does not appear to be catalog-based; we run into the same problem using a test catalog.  The export operation works fine, however, with the same test catalog and images on two other machines, and it even works fine on the same machine with a new user admin account that we created.
    So it appears to be something associated with the user account, , or with how LR is interacting with the user account, but I cannot figure out what it might be. We can copy the Raw files when using the Finder to do so. But not via Lightroom.  Any thoughts, ideas of suggestion would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks, Sean

    As part of your testing make sure you've tried exporting JPGs from the same folder as the CR2s you're exporting as original, and export JPGs from CR2s to the same folder as you're exporting your originals.  This would test LR's read and write permissions from and to the folders being used.
    From this document you can see that all the LR files other than the program, are under the /Users folder with different values possible for each user, so the difference could be that the users that work are using the original LR defaults, if you have just started using LR with them after you started having this problem, or at least that the user with the problem has some oddball settings that are interfering with Export as Original.
    Preference and other file locations in Lightroom 5
    You can test for the Preferences being off by either copying the preferences from a user that has the problem to a user that doesn't have the problem--probably through an external or common folder, or be deleting the preferences file from the user that has the problem and see if it resolves.  Moving the preferences file or renaming it may be better than deleting it if no change is seen, then you can restore the preferences back by moving or renaming the file back to the original location and name.

    I ususally do that type of thing with a state machine... read a token, look for what is next, and if it's the closing token, I don't write it out. You have well defined opening token syntax and closing token syntax, so it should be relatively easy.

    The order of import is as follows: new tables are created, data is imported and indexes are built, triggers are imported, integrity constraints are enabled on the new tables, and any bitmap, function-based, and/or domain indexes are built. This sequence prevents data from being rejected due to the order in which tables are imported. This sequence also prevents redundant triggers from firing twice on the same data (once when it is originally inserted and again during the import).
    For example, if the emp table has a referential integrity constraint on the dept table and the emp table is imported first, all emp rows that reference departments that have not yet been imported into dept would be rejected if the constraints were enabled.
    When data is imported into existing tables, however, the order of import can still produce referential integrity failures. In the situation just given, if the emp table already existed and referential integrity constraints were in force, many rows could be rejected.
    A similar situation occurs when a referential integrity constraint on a table references itself. For example, if scott's manager in the emp table is drake, and drake's row has not yet been loaded, scott's row will fail, even though it would be valid at the end of the import.

  • Imp-00008: unrecognized statement in the export file

    Hi All,
    I am trying to import an export from Oracle 8.1.7 source system to Oracle 11.2 using imp . I am getting the following errors may times during the import process.
    imp-00008: unrecognized statement in the export file
    The character set of Source data base is WE8DEC and the character set of target data base is WE8MSWIN1252 and i get the below statement during the start of the import
    import done in US7ASCII character set and AL16UTF16 NCHAR character set
    import server uses WE8MSWIN1252 character set (possible charset conversion)
    export client uses WE8DEC character set (possible charset conversion)
    export server uses WE8DEC NCHAR character set (possible ncharset conversion)
    The error imp-00008: unrecognized statement in the export file is it due to the Oracle version compatibility or due to Character set compatibility issue.
    I tried to create a new Database on same Oracle sever and i cant find WE8DEC in the list of character set to choose. Please help me on how to proceed.
    Regards,
    alen.

    Hi Srini,
    Data is getting loaded correctly, but i get several of these error imp-00008: unrecognized statement in the export file messages during the import process, so i am not sure what is missing.
    Pl post the complete error message from the import log file.
    1) Is it possible to import the dump exported form oracle 8 into oracle 11?? Do we need to take any special care during the import ??
    Yes - no special requirements are needed.
    2) The Oracale Database character set it WE8DEC, but when i try to create a new database in 11 , i dont find that character set , is the character set obsolete now , if so what character set is super set of WE8DEC ??
    Pl post exact OS and database versions. Ideally you should be using AL32UTF8 for all new databases. WE8DEC is a deprecated characterset.
    See section 4.2.1 here - http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/install.112/e24186/install.htm#BABFDDEA

  • The export file from a calc script - naming and date/time stamp

    Here is a simple calc script to export data.
    2 questions:
    1. Is there an easy way to add a date/time stamp on the name of the data file so that it does not overwrite the older ones every time?
    2. I tried to specify the path so that it write to another server. "\\mfldappp011\E:\Exp_AW.txt". It's not working. How should I specify the path ?
    Fix (@Relative("Yeartotal",0),"Actual","Working",&ActualYear);
    Dataexport "file" "," "C:\Exp_AW.txt" "#MI";
    EndFix;

    Probably easiest to call the maxl script from a command line script, then rename the exported file to include the tme stamp and copy/move it to a location.
