Expression parameter does not work in 3.1

When I turn the expression parameter down on an audio channel strip it has no effect. This is not a mapping issue. I mapped the controller to the volume parameter and it worked just fine. I go to the channel strip and change it and it still doesn't work. This concert worked fine before the update last week. Any suggestions?https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=682736C1014FB3D0!103933&authkey=!ANAkht1OO pBuaN8&ithint=video%2cmp4

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling?  You won't lose any downloaded sample content, so the pain of of reinstalling should be pretty minimal.
I played around with my test installation of MS3.1 and I don't seem to be affected by this bug so maybe something went awry in the update process for you.
Keep us posted.  I won't be updating my computers until after I finish a pit orchestra gig at the end of February and if there are bugs in this version, I'll hold off until 3.1.1.

  • Date parameter does not work in SharePoint 2010 report using SQL 2008 Server Reporting Service

    Here is the settings:
    SharePoint 2010 with SQL server 2008 reporting services configured
    When create a report for a SP list using SQL server report builder (3.0) the date parameter does not work.
    The data parameter is set as "date and time" type and field name equals the col name in the SP list
    When run the report, the whatever dates I select, the result is always the same, so the parameters do not take any effect.
    Is any step missing?
    Thanks for any advice !

    Hi ,
    How did you configure you "date and time" type parameter and field name equals the col name in the SP list?
    Have you tested if other type parameter worked?
    Have you tried typing the date format as 20140722 in your date parameter filed before run the report?

  • Sorting based on a parameter does not work

    Hi All
    I am using BI Publisher Reports with Siebel CRM 8.1.1.6. I have declared a parameter called "inputsort" in the CRM application as well as in the template by using <?param@begin:inputsort?> within the template. I can display the current value of the parameter using <?$inputsort?> without issues.
    However, when I try using this parameter for sorting, it doesn work:
    The report is created for a list of event attendees. When I do this, sorting works:
    <?for-each:EeventsEventCheckAttendee?><?sort:ContactLastName?>
    BUT when I do this, sorting does not work:
    <?for-each:EeventsEventCheckAttendee?><?sort:$inputsort?>
    although the parameter $inputsort does have a value of "ContactLastName".
    What could be the reason??

    never mind, I found the solution myself. For some reason, the correct way is:
    <?for-each:EeventsEventCheckAttendee?><?sort:./*[name(.) = $inputsort]?>
    I don't know why, but it works.

    This is a guess, but I suspect that ords_services.add_parameter() is not required at all.
    Also, your URL /demo_product_info/10/ should not have the trailing slash (according to your template URI).
    For more information, I suggest you look here:
    ords.3.0.0.343.07.58.zip\ords.war\scripts\migrate\core\ords_migrate.plb
    The migration package will show what is usually done for templates that already exist within APEX 4.2. I checked my templates and the ones with URI variables {in-curly-brackets} contain no records in apex_040200.wwv_flow_rt$parameters.

  • Application Parameter does not work on migrating

    We have encountered this various times.
    When we add an application parameter to an existing application, it does not work on migrating.
    We have to make a new service (application) and then attach the parameter to it, then it works.
    What is the reason for this behavior?
    Eg: I added the parameter WDDISABLEUSERPERSONALIZATION and set it to X in development. Works fine there. On migrating to UAT, it does not work. What's amiss?
    Thanks in adv.

    Hi Aishi,
    maybe SAP Note [1332644|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1332644] "WDA Application Parameters are not changed in all clients" might be helpful in your case.

  • Crystal Reports dynamic parameter does not work in InfoView

    Hello,
    We have developed Crystal Reports in CR2008 on top of SAP infoset and we have one of our selection parameter as dynamic parameter. It works fine in the CR Dev tool but when i upload the report in the InfoView, report does not show any value in the "Available Values"
    Any input will be much appreciated.
    Thanks.

    I did found the solution for this, i had to go into Business View Manger (BO Client Tools) and Schedule the LOV (List of Values). This is odd setting! but it works....

  • Menu Parameter does not work with MS SQL Server

    I need to create a “Menu Parameter” from a “List of Values supporting "All" and multiple selection. This parameter happens to be a list of funds. The DB is SQL Server.
    We have a stored function that takes a comma separated list of funds as a parameter. SQL Server 2005 does not support array lists as bind parameters to stored procs/functions so we do not have a choice.
    The Menu parameter is effectively a bind parameter but I cannot use it directly due to the sql server limitation mentioned above. I really only have 2 choices:
    1) Oracle could generate the comma separated list like many BI tools do. This does not seem to be an option but it could not hurt to ask is this is available.
    2) Convert the bind variable to a comma separated list prior to passing it into the function. This is what I have tried to do below. This also has a problem in that the @liststr variable goes out of scope during execution. I see the error in the BIPublisher logs. This query works fine in Toad and Aqua Data Studio but fails when I run the report complaining about an undefined variable @liststr.
    - Convert bind variable to comma separated list of values
    DECLARE @listStr VARCHAR(MAX)
    SET @liststr =
    SELECT COALESCE ( COALESCE(@listStr+',' ,'') + fgcode , @listStr)
    FROM FundGroup where fgcode in ('AOMF ALL')
    - Pass the csv into the function
    select *
    from PeriodPNLNoNAV('1/1/2012', '1/31/2012', @listStr, '')
    order by fgdesc

    Hi Martin.
    I try to resolve this problem ( sqlserver masking) but I can't found the OBE mentioned.
    You or anyone have examples about masking MS SQLServer, because in the Oracle documentation suggest that is possible but not "how do it", except the use of heterogeneous services.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Help! Logic Express 8 does not work on my Mac Pro with OS 10.5.1

    Hello, I hope somebody around here is able to help me.
    I have got a new Mac Pro with one Quad core processor since yesterday and it works fine except for Logic Express 8 (version 8.0.1). Whenever I start Logic the program crashes as soon as "Core Audio initialisieren" is shown in the display. I have tried to reinstall the program, deleted it completely and installed it again. It is always the same.
    Has anyone else experienced this problem? What can I do about it? I am a musician and I really need Logic Express to run.

    Confused. 10.6 is DVD based. Only Lion and above are downloads.
    And best install is not to upgrade. Do a clean install  - on another drive.
    Corrupt partition tables or bad sectors or no room to adjust the partitions or the directory is corrupt.
    ERASE the drive if Repair Disk didn't work.

  • ESATA express card does not work with Mavericks. Any suggestions?

    This is an Apiotek II 300 Express Adapter. I went out to Apiotek.com and it appears the domain is for sale. Is there any way to get a software update or do I have to buy a new Express Card that allows eSATA drives to work with Mavericks. I did a backup before I upgraded using X 10.7.5 and everything worked fine. The eSATA drive is not seen using Disk Utility either.
    Thanks for any help or suggestions.

    The driver has to come from the manufacturer of the card, so your two options are to get another card or to use your full backup to go back to 10.7.5. That assumes it's a clone backup and not Time Machine.

  • Sonnet pro express card does not work with lion 7.3.4 warning

    After upgrading to Lion 7.3.4 my volumes attached via a Sonnet Express Pro 34 card via SATA no longer mount.
    I have the current driver from Sonnet 2.2.8
    The volumes appear in Disk Utility, AND pass both the disk verify and repair
    However, attempts to mount the volumes result in a message from Disk Utility to attempt repairing the disk

    Tried deinstalling and reinstalling the Sonnet driver. Doesn't help.
    Really odd that the drives will readly pass Disk Utility's first aid checks and repairs, spin up and down under Disk Utility, but simply won't mount.
    Revereted back to 10.7.3 and now back on line.
    Hopefully Sonnet will create a fix, but wow, could be Lion 10.7.4's fault given that the underlying drive structure looks sound to Disk Utility (even under 10.7.4).  Lion 10.7.4 dislikes something about the Sonnet Tempo Pro Expresscard/34 sata connected drives.

  • CR2008 . Net App - Parameters and Parameter Panel Not working

    Post Author: cehowski
    CA Forum: Crystal Reports
    I have a CR2008 report with one parameter, which works fine when running it in CR2008.  I have an app developed in VS2005 (which should have been updated when I installed Crystal and re-built the app).  The new "Sort Labels" work fine, so the Viewer should be OK (the right version).  When I open the report in the app, the parameter does not modify the report in anyway, whether a new value is added when it first opens, or I try to change the value using the Parameter panel after it is opened.  I've tried Saving with and without data, discarding saved data on refresh, and one or two other properties that seemed like they might have an effect.  None of them did.  Everything works fine within CR2008 - it is only in VS2005, using the Version 12 viewer, that the parameter does not work (all records are returned by the way).
    Any ideas will be appreciated.

    Carolyn,
    Firewall is off. No antivirus. Switching Little snitch on an off makes no difference.
    Just tried ot connect to the App Store again, and it says no connection, connect anyway.....I click connect, and the entire window flashes balck and white and I can see data traffic to and from the app via little snitch.....the black screen is it trying to load the page but not getting through.
    Strange.

  • Regular expression does not work in IE

    Hi,
    I'm having a regular expression which should check the content of an inputText field: it should contain a number, a character and the size should be at least 6. It's working when I test it in FireFox but it always fails to succeed in IE:
              <af:inputText>
                <af:validateRegExp pattern="^(?=.*[a-zA-Z])(?=.*[0-9])[a-zA-Z0-9]{6,24}$"
                                   noMatchMessageDetail="Does not match."/>
              </af:inputText>How comes it does not work in IE (6.0)?
    JDeveloper 10.1.3.3
    Thanks in advance,
    Koen Verhulst

    hi Koen
    The web page you refer to ...
    http://www.fileformat.info/tool/regex.htm
    ... seems to be doing server side Java regular expressions (and as such will behave the same in both FF and IE).
    The af:validateRegExp component you want to use does client side evaluation of the regular expression, using scripting, hence the apparent difference between FF and IE.
    There is also this web page ...
    http://www.regular-expressions.info/javascriptexample.html
    ... that seems to behave similar to the markup and scripting resulting from the af:validateRegExp component.
    Besides the value "2abcdef" there seem to be others that are accepted by IE for the regular expression "^(?=.*[a-zA-Z])(?=.*[0-9])[a-zA-Z0-9]{6,24}$", values like these:
    "a2abcdef", "a2abcde", "abcdef2abcde", "2a3cdef", "2a34567"
    Although these values are not accepted by IE (but are accepted in FF):
    "2abcde", "23bcdef"
    success

  • F4 help on Parameter for ddic domain does not work

    Hello,
    I try:
    Parameters:  pa_waers TYPE WAERS.
    WAERS is a ddic data element for currencies and also a  domain with this name exists. The domain WAERS has a check table TCURC.
    When I press F4 for my field PA_WAERS in the Selection Screen, I assume a value help from the check table TCURC.
    I activated and re-generated my coding (as mentioned in the ABAP-Keyword help for "PARAMETERS") but it still does not work.
    Does anybody has a clue why this does this not work.
    The same thing is for a parameter:
    Parameters ..... type CTU_MODE.
    Domain CTU_MODE has value Fields (A, E, B) but also here on my program no F4 help occurs.
    Thanks in advance
    Stefan Berger

    A value table is assigned to a domain.  It becomes a check table when a foreign key relationship is established for a field in a table.  The field uses the data element and the data element uses the domain.
    For example, if you try:
    PARAMETERS: PA_WAERS TYPE EKKO-WAERS.
    You will get the F4 help you are looking for.  If you use tran SE11 and view EKKO, find field WAERS, use tab Entry Help/check and you will see that table TCURC has been established as a check table.  You can use the foreign key button to see the relationship that has been established between EKKO and TCURC.
    Also, domains cannot be used to type a field.  Your reference to CTU_MODE must be referring to a Data Element.  I tried this in a 4.7 system and the F4 works for me.  What version are you using?

  • SQL-Tokenizer based on regular-expressions does not work

    I'm on 10gR2
    Following SQL-Tokenizer converts string :str to rows using :delim as the delimiter-char (:str and :delim are parameters):
    select level, regexp_replace(regexp_substr( :in_str || :in_delimiter, '(.*?)' || :in_delimiter, 1, level ), :in_delimiter, '') as token
    from dual
    connect by regexp_instr( :in_str || :in_delimiter, '(.*?)' || :in_delimiter, 1, level ) > 0
    order by level asc ;
    When using the pipe-symbol "|" as the delimiter, it doesn't work; the rows are processed, but the tokens are null. Using an other char as delimiter (e.g. ";") works fine.
    :str = "123;456;A1;67X;0;-8" & :delim = ";" => works fine
    :str = "123|456|A1|67X|0|-8" & :delim = "|" => does not work
    I think the bug is in the regexp-parameter for the pattern, isn't it?
    Why doesn't work the pipe-symbol as delimiter?
    Can anybody give me a hint for using the correct regexp-pattern?
    thx
    Nuerni

    select level, rtrim(regexp_substr( :in_str || :in_delimiter, '(.*?)' || :in_delimiter, 1, level ),:in_delimiter ) as token
    from dual
    connect by regexp_instr( :in_str || :in_delimiter, '(.*?)' || :in_delimiter, 1, level ) > 0
    order by level asc ;use a rtrim instead of regexp_replace then it works...
