External SSRS into a List

Hello, I have Sharepoint 2010. Can you connect to another SSRS database, place the data into a Sharepoint List ? I have a 3rd party Application where I can access the data I need via Reporting Services, and would like to use that
data in a Sharepoint List.
If so, can you provide me some information on how.

SharePoint 2010 has Business Connectivity Services application which could be used to read and write the data from external system like SQL server database, we can create an external content type to read the SSRS database table through SharPoint Desinger,
then create a external list associated with this external content type, then the database table data could be shown in SharePoint external list, form more information you can read the following articles.

Adding word into a list from a external file

Hello,
I am making a boggle- like game that utilizes an external wordlist to check to see if a user's word is actually a word.
How should I best check to see this? Currently I import the external file into a linkedlist at the beginning of the program-- but this takes a ridiculous amount of time. Is there any more effective way?

Which one "takes a ridiculous amount of time"? Reading the list or finding a word?
If you have a large list of words, reading them from a file takes as much time as it takes to read it and store the words. You might wanna use a buffered reader. As we cannot guess your code, there is no way to see, if anything extreme slowing is going on there.
If finding words takes long, well, scanning a linked list each time to find a word might take some time. Use a HashSet instead. If your number of words is to big for your memory and will be swapped out very often, think about indexing and split files. Again, as we cannot guess your code, it's difficult to tell what is eating up time.

Loading an external webpage into the Flex app

Is there a way to load an external webpage into a Flex application. I only need to show a portion of the webpage not the entire page. For ex: Take the http://www.cnn.com main page. I only want to show the latest news column containing the bullted list of the news and not the entire page.

Netweaver 7.01 ABAP Trial Version - External Call Into Possible?

I am trying to do any kind of external call into the Netweaver 7.01 ABAP Trial Version.
Is it possible with either VS 2003 using the .NET Connector or even via a web service call to a BAPI?
Here are my results in both technologies:
1 - Deplaying a BAPI as a Web Service - Receive Error Message Object Director R3TR WEBI does not exist.
(Note: Also when trying to acces SOAMANAGER, I receive a 500 Connection Time-Out Error Web page).
2- VS2003 using the .net Connector - When I try to list the BAPIs, I receive the error message "Open file c:\windows\sapmsg.ini failed".
Note: All services have been enabled in SICF.

And which problem was? And how you solved it?
Because im trying to acces SOAMANAGER and it starts loading but it never finishies. IE says waiting for reply...

Text File into a List?

I have a text file of an English-French dictionary.
I want to enter an english phrase into a text box
- search through the list(dictionary)
- and output the French phrase in a separate text box.
I want to search through the dictionary(list) for an english
phrase e.g. "accost" and output the corresponding french phrase
"accoster" to a text box.
Here is the format that the dictionary is in
English first followed by french followed by word type
accordions accorde/ons[Noun]
accords accords[Noun]
accost accoster[Verb]
account compte[Noun]
Is it possible to add a text files contents into a list?
Imagine manually typing all the contents.

How can I load an external SWF into a movie clip that's inside other movie clip?

Hi.
I creating my first flash (actionscript 3.0) website but I'm
stuck with a visual effect I want to create.
I have a window on my website called contentWindow. Every
time you click a button this window is supposed to leave the stage,
load the requested content and return to the stage.
The sliding window is a movie clip with 83 frames, 21 to
enter the stage, 21 to leave the stage again, 20 for nothing (its
just to simulate the loading time) and 21 to return to the stage.
Now my goal is, when the user clicks on a navigation button,
the window exits the stage, loads an external SWF with the content,
and then returns to the stage.
I've the "window" movie clip with an instance name of
"contentWindow". Inside there is another movie clip with an
instance name of "contentLoader". The content that the user
requested should appear inside the "contentLoader".
Now, when the contentWindow leaves the stage, I get this
error message:

If I switch
"contentWindow.contentLoader.addChild(navLoader);" for
"contentWindow.addChild(navLoader);" it works fine, but the

Recently, I have been putting together a flash presentation.
And I am just wondering if the following might help you, in your
communication with the said swf file:

Not the best example, but this allows you to target a mc
within an external swf file. I think if you look up this code, you
will have an answer ;)

If you had stored your catalog files on an external drive, then all you have to do is double-click on them to open them and use them.
Or you could move them to the internal drive and double-click on them once the move is completed.
To create a single catalog file from multiple ones, you could use File->Import from Another Catalog

But the issue came in picture when i was working with the other site collection instead of root one. The url was like below.

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you have an issue about upload multiple documents files into library vai REST API.
As you have said, you have used the hard code url in your code.
How about use the _spPageContextInfo.webAbsoluteUrl method to get the url?
I have used this method to get the url, then use the code in the article you have pasted within a content editor web part to upload the files.
You can replace the hard code url with the _spPageContextInfo.webAbsoluteUrl method, then check whether it works.

You have Thunderbolt or Mini DisplayPort. If you know which external display you want or you already have it, look at the ports it has got and get a Mini DisplayPort adapter for it. There are Mini DisplayPort adapters for DVI, VGA and HDMI.

how to get values/data stored in the database into a list-item.
i tried to make a list item without any values assigned to it...but i got the below error.
FRM-30191: No list items defined for required poplist.
or
FRM-32082: Invalid value for given item type.
List EMPNO
Item: EMPNO
Block: EMP
Form: MODULE5
FRM-30085: Unable to adjust form for output.
then according to some docs, i tried the the following for the trigger

for list items you need to values in the record group, one is the shown value and one is the returned value.
Check out the online help for the populate_list built-in.
You'll need something like select ename,ename from emp as the record group query.

Can I partition an external drive into MSDO and MACOS extended and use under bootcamp ?

I am interested in using Windows 8 alongside my OSX MAVERICK with the Bootcamp 5 solution.
However, I am trying to save the space on my internal SSD . Can I partition my 4TB WD external drive into 3 parts like this :
1.5 TB dedicated for Time Machine in MAC OS Extended Format
1,5 TB MAC for general purpose in MAC OS Extended Format
1.0 TB Windows for my PC games and other stuff in exFAT for files larger than 4GB
Is this possible at all or what would be better ?

To resize the drive do the following:
1. Open Disk Utility and click on the Continue button. Select the hard drive's main entry then click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
2. You should see the graphical sizing window showing the existing partitions. A portion may appear as a blue rectangle representing the used space on a partition.
3. In the lower right corner of the sizing rectangle for each partition is a resizing gadget. Select it with the mouse and move the bottom of the rectangle upwards until you have reduced the existing partition enough to create the desired new volume's size. The space below the resized partition will appear gray. Click on the Apply button and wait until the process has completed. (Note: You can only make a partition smaller in order to create new free space.)
4. Click on the [+] button below the sizing window to add a new partition in the gray space you freed up. Give the new volume a name, if you wish, then click on the Apply button. Wait until the process has completed.
You should now have a new volume on the drive.
It would be wise to have a backup of your current system as resizing is not necessarily free of risk for data loss. Your drive must have sufficient contiguous free space for this process to work.

Is it possible to buy an external casing into which a backplane ready hard drive will slot?
After I set up a RAID 0 array, I will have a spare 640GB hard drive ( the original Apple one), and I was wondering whether it is possible to purchase an empty external casing which would house it.

Unfortunately, the range of ancillary products available to Mac users in the UK is very limited compared to the States.
I was unable to track down any UK resellers of FirmTek enclosures, and I am reluctant to import from abroad, because it would be too much hassle to return products in the event of a fault.
After a lot of googling I thought I had found the ideal solution when I came across a Macally Voyager Q Dock review in a back issue of MacWorld UK. However, although some Macally products are sold by UK resellers, I could only find the Voyager Q available from OWC.
I came across lots of external hard drive cases, enclosures and docks, but invariably they were USB2.0 and/or eSATA, with a few also having FW400 ports.
Eventually I tracked down one case and one dock, stocked by Storage Depot Co. UK, which had FW400, FW800, eSATA, and USB2.0 connectivity. I decided that the single bay case was the best option for me, and I have placed an order for one.

I am constantly installing surveillance cameras at various locations; I'd like to be able to use my iPhone as the live view device (as opposed to a larger portable DVD player).

I have basically the same setup, except on a Mac Mini. I am unable to reproduce your problem. Double check that you are copying the original text in the first place, and then make sure you are pasting into a text layer as you cannot paste into a regular Photoshop layer -- nothing will happen. Create a text layer by clicking on a regular layer with the text tool, the T in the tool box. The new layer will show up in the layers panel identified by the first line of the text.

I would do 1 thing at a time:"now the micropohone is not working in facetime"
Here is what you can check to get your mike working in facetime:
1. Hold down option while you click on the speaker next to time a. date,
under input Device see if your mic is marked. If not: ✔️
2. Click the apple top left/System Prefs./click on the Sound speaker:
under Input highlight microphone.
3. When you have factime on go to video above scroll and see if your mic is marked ✔️
If that does not get it to work there is more you can check:
(Utilities/Audio, midi setup)
For any other audio device you do this for input and output.
If you get stock post back
