External Webpages content dropzone

Everything seems to work ok until I click on the buttons a couple of times. They first load super quick and then start taking a long time to load. Is there a way to clear the cache on mouse up or mouse down?
I am using:

yepnope({load: "style/menu.css"});
// Load Edge Commons library "All-in-One"
yepnope({
          load: "http://cdn.edgecommons.org/an/1.0.0/js/min/EdgeCommons.js",

If you are talking about loading actual html pages into
Flash, the best thing to do is to search for "flash text html
render". Flash will have to render the html tags, and even some
html tags are not supported for Flash rendering. I've seen a few
Flash html text render components, but I can't remember off the top
of my head where I saw them. Again, if you search for the keywords
I mentioned above, you will find a lot more information about what
you are trying to do.

  • How do I configure Firefox to autofit webpages (i.e. so I don't have to scroll to the right to see everything) and display all webpage content?

    I'm doing some maintenance on an old Dell Dimension 1100 (service tag: JGFN291, all drivers updated) for a friend, and I installed the new version of Firefox. Webpage graphics / backgrounds will not display, and the text on all webpages displays too large; I have to scroll to the left to see everything. How do I configure Firefox to automatically display all webpage content properly? It's probably due to the age of the PC and monitor (I think Noah took a pair of these on the ark with him back in the day), but I was hoping there was some other workaround for it. Any and all help is appreciated!

    Unable to view external webcam content.  I'm using IE11 with Windows 7 64 bit.  I've tried deactivating Activex control, tried different browsers etc, tweeked the tools for trusted sites etc, but am totally stuck. I know the cams are working as i can view them on mobile phone via puffin browser.  I can play Youtube videos etc just fine. So why not the webcam?

    First, confirm that ActiveX Filtering is configured to allow Flash content:
    https://forums.adobe.com/thread/867968
    Internet Explorer 11 introduces a number of changes both to how the browser identifies itself to remote web servers, and to how it processes JavaScript intended to target behaviors specific to Internet Explorer. Unfortunately, this means that content on some sites will be broken until the content provider changes their site to conform to the new development approach required by modern versions of IE.
    You can try to work around these issues by using Compatibility View:
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/use-compatibility-view#ie=ie-11
    If that is too inconvenient, using Google Chrome may be a preferable alternative.

  • Unable to update webpage contents

    Whenever I try to use "put" and "synchronyse" commands to update my nouridjanianpsychologicaltesting.com pages, webpage content still remains unupdated and unchanged, even when I used Insert>Template>Update Pages commands. I use FTP server mode and also unable to engage server behavior, such as use Recordset option, as RDS log-in is unavailable in FTP regime. Please, help me solve these persistent and unaccounted for problems of updating webpages in FTP regime and enabling Recordset option in FTP regime. I use Windows Vista and receive error messages about non-working Cold Fusion in FTP environment, when I try to engage Recordset option in vain. I will sue Adobe.com in federal downtown court, if you fail to help me solve this persistent problem, as I paid 400$ for this Creative Suite CS4, and all I get are unsolved problems with FTP environment. I do rely on your ability to troubleshoot webpage updating problem in FTP environment and inablity to use record sets and other other server behaviors. When I checked Dreamweaver manual to troubleshoot these problems, no direct answers were revealed by the Adobe manual. I am desperate to get your urgent help now!

If you must have official support, please create a support case using the customers support form and don't go off aaccusing the wrong people. Specific to your issue: Have you considered, that this may actually be a problem with your hoster's virtual directory structure and utterly unrelated to DW? Your files definitely are going somewhere on your server, but that doesn't seem to be your home directory...

  • Import external HTML contents to JSP

    Hi,
    Anybody knows if the WLW has a JSP tag that can be used to import external HTML
    contents to my current JSPs? Something similar to JSTL import.
    Thanks
    Qiu

    Qiu--
    WLW doesn't have one specifically.
    You can certainly use that tag from the Jakarta standard tags 1.0 implementation of JSTL -- this
    version does not require JSP 2.0 and can run on a 2.3 Servlet container.
    Hope that helps...

  • Mailto link goes to external webpage

    I have several mailto links on a page.  The top one on the list works correctly.  The other mailto links, instead of opening an email, link to an external webpage.  This is not some random page from the internet, I have linked to it from my site, just not on the page with the emaill addresses.
    Muse says that the link to set to Mailto:emailaddress.org, when I hover the mouse over the link in the browser it says that it is going to naviagte to mailto:emailaddress.org, but when you click on the link it goes to an external webpage.

  • External BEA Content Repository

    Good day,
    I am attempting to create a new BEA Repository that resides in an external database and have followed the instructions as described in Creating Additional BEA Repositories at http://e-docs.bea.com/wlp/docs81/repository/repository.html
    After deploying the content_repo.jar and bouncing the WebLogic Portal Server, I am not able to view or edit repository content. It is also not possible to manage content types in the new repository.

    In the admin tools, do you have the primary property configured on your node's type? (to be the binary you want displayed)
    Can you retrieve the content by hitting the ShowProperty servlet? (try a url like http://localhost:7001/<webappname>/ShowDoc/<path to your node>

  • Problem in loading external HTML content using SpryHTMLDataSet in Firefox

    I have a very simple placement of the contents of an HTML DIV within a subsidiary HTML file (statespecificassets.html) into a main HTML document, using SpryHTMLDataSet in Dreamweaver CS4.
    The relevant bits of code in the main HTML doc:
    In the header:
    <script src="../../SpryAssets/SpryData.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
    <script src="../../SpryAssets/SpryHTMLDataSet.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript">
    <!--
    var ds1 = new Spry.Data.HTMLDataSet("../../statespecificassets.html", "NN_Data_s3a");
    ds1.setColumnType("column0", "html");
    //-->
    </script>
    And at the point of inclusion of the external DIV:
    <div spry:region="ds1" class="StackedContainers">
             <div spry:repeat="ds1" class="RowContainer">
                <div class="RowColumn" style="background-color: #D7DF21;">{column0}</div>
             </div>
          </div>
    The problem: This works fine in Safari 4.0 on a Mac, and IE7 on a PC. It doesn't work in Firefox 3.0.11 (latest version) on Mac or PC: In firefox the reference content simply doesn't load. The only way I can get it to work in Firefox is if I place the main HTML doc and its subsidiary reference HTML file in exactly the same directory/ on the same level, and adjust the script reference accordingly ( var ds1 = new Spry.Data.HTMLDataSet("statespecificassets.html", "NN_Data_s3a"); ) ...But I can't/ don't want to alter my directory structure, because multiple files in other directories will need to use the reference file.
    Is there some other way of making it all-browser compatible -- possibly by adjusting a relevant bit of code in SpryHTMLDataSet.js in the Spry Assets? .. I've attached the SpryHTMLDataSet.js file for reference.
    Thank you to any kind soul who might have the nous to solve this.

    This is the latest version of SpryHTMLDataSet: http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/spry/preview/SpryHTMLDataSet.js
    Check out if works for, if not, please provide us with a online url.

  • Unable to load external local content

    I have Flash 8 Professional on Windows Vista 64-bit and I am
    trying to load external SWF's into my main Flash SWF. The content
    will load correctly in the trusted test movie environment but will
    not load the local content in a published local sandbox mode that
    runs inside of a browser. The odd thing is that the XML loader
    actually loads the XML file sitting in the local directories but
    for some reason it will not load the external SWF's. Anyone have an
    idea why this might be happening?
    I've pasted the code that will hopefully help in determining
    the problem. The following is the traced print out of my debugging
    info...
    quote:
    scorm.connect(): true
    scorm.set('cmi.core.lesson_status', 'incomplete'): true
    scorm.get('cmi.core.student_id'): User01
    scorm.get('cmi.core.student_name'): Student, Joe
    loading page 0
    scorm.set('cmi.core.lesson_location', '0'): true
    [Data:onLoad] Success
    [Data:parseXML] Parsing XML...
    [Preloader:loadFrame] Loading frame...
    mcLoader.loadClip() succeeded
    [Preloader:onLoadStart] _level0.content_mc.mcFrame0
    [Preloader:onLoadError] Error Code:LoadNeverCompleted HTTP
    Status:0

    Since that error points to gallery fla, it may mean the problem is inside the gallery swf file.  What you should do is go into your Publish Setings and select the option to Permit Debugging.  THat will help by attaching the line number of the problemed code.  You might find it is of a line number greater than any you have in the file doing the oading which would probably make it more definitie that its the file you are loading.
    Just in case you copied and pasted, the following line should have thrown up a syntax error due to missing a parenthesis...
    loader.load(new URLRequest("gallery.swf");

  • Don't have permissions to see my external drive contents

    can anyone help? all of a sudden, i can't access the files on my external drive. it gives me the message "...you don't have permission to see its contents"
    i tried every option in disk utility, but the "repair disk permissions" is grayed out.
    can someone help me?

    Hi
    What format is the external HD formatted in?
    Go to Applications -> Utilities -> Disk Utility, and look in the bottom left corner.
    If the drive is formatted as FAT or NTFS, then you will not be able to repair disk permissions. If the volume is formatted as FAT, then you are unable to assign permissions at all, so you have a real problem in that case.
    Report back with more info.

  • Video webpage content protection

    What is the code or method to prevent webpage visitors from downloading videos from my webpages?

    KevinLoganGreen wrote:
    There are clients who want to protect copyright content & videos.
    If a video can be viewed on a website, it can be copied by the viewer, period.
    Adding a watermark or text to the video saying the work is copywritten (like they do at the end of movies) is the only way to give your client legal recourse when the video is copied, if they choose to go that route and sue a viewer.
    There are many, many programs that will record anything displaying on a computer screen that are available to anyone who wants to copy video from the internet. Any "protection" you give your content in the source of the page to stop someone from simply "saving as" will be circumvented, easily, by anyone who really wants the video. It may delay them for  10 seconds while they fire up their favorite screen capture program (if they don't have it running by default) but that's it.
    If you have clients that are that concerned about their info being copied and used by bad guys for nefarious schemes (seriously, why would you not want a viewer to download and view your content whenever they want?), perhaps a user log-in area with an EULA that specifically states they can't copy the information legally, in order to view the material, would be the way to go.
    If that's not a solution, leaving the information off of the website is the ONLY way to keep it from being easily copied.
    The above does not count "pay to download" information, which obviously would not be available to view by the general public until it is purchased and would require an online store and secure access.

  • Search function for external html content

    Hi all,
    i have got a Flash Projector which is to be deployed on
    DC/DVD rom. I am using an XML menu to load various chapters and
    sections of html content, images etc. The client is now asking for
    the capability to search within the "books" content.
    Is there any way of doing this? I have found an Extension
    that allows me to search within a text field, but what about
    external content files?
    Please help. I've had a quick look at Director, but I can't
    see any guarantee that that product will give me an easier
    solution, not to mention the weeks or relearning and
    redeveloping...

    You probably need to read all the data into Flash and do the
    searching in Actionscript.
    Director as I recall has better access to the OS so it could
    potentially read a local database. However you should continue to
    consider how to accomplish in Flash.
    If you want to explore accomplishing the same with Flash then
    look at third party products such as Zinc that will allow you to
    get to the OS.
