Extraction of roles content and user assignment

Dear all,
we want to transfer some CCA-rights to BI into a table, which will be referenced in a role in BI.
Purpose is to tranfer the authorization concept from ERP to BI.
I have to write for this some function module, which might be a bit complex but not impossible.
Has anyone experience with this?

To search for roles with no users assignment u can run a report RSUSR070 AFTER EXECUTING TCODE SA38 in the progran field enter the name of the report and click execute button u get roles by complex selection criteria then scroll down and in the selection according to user assignments select without user assignment then cli ck execute button u will get the roles with no user assigments............

Firefox not honoring "Offline Web Content And User Data" settings

Firefox always accepts offline web content and user data, I never get any notification regardless of the "tell me when a website asks to store data for offline use" setting (found in Preferences > Advanced > network).
I also completely cleared the about:permissions tab. Regardless of the "All sites > Offline storage" setting, offline storage is always allowed.
Here is a step- by step guide to reproduce my issue.
1. Make sure about:permissions is clear
2. make sure the list at: preferences > Network > "The following websites are ...." is also clear
3. Close the preferences window
4. Go to go to http://appcachefacts.info/demo/ ... No notification regarding offline cache will be shown.
5. Open the preference window, the list at preferences > Network > "The following websites are ...."
Will now be populated with http://appcachefacts.info (1.1MB)
This list entry persists even after closing the browser window and re-opening it.
This happens with complete disregard to the settings described in the first paragraph.

Firefox will store small amounts (less than 50 MB) of data without asking for permission.
*offline-apps.allow_by_default;true
*offline-apps.quota.warn;51200
You can toggle the offline-apps.allow_by_default pref to false to make Firefox ask.

Note that Offline Web Content is different then local DOM storage and is only used on a few websites that run an application like the mega.co.nz website.
You can inspect and manage the permissions for all domains on the about:permissions page or for the domain in the currently selected tab via these steps:
*Click the "Site Identity Button" (globe/padlock) on the location bar
*Click "More Information" to open Page Info
*Go to the Permissions tab
*Tools > Page Info > Permissions

You can delete the permissions.sqlite file to reset all permissions.

Roles tasks and resources assignment

Hi there.
I'm working in CProjet and I need to complete role definition; I can define staf (STAFFING TAB) and assign task (TASK TAB).
In TASK TAB I can create also association between role, task and resource; now, I seem that STAFFING TAB considers TASK TAB assignment, but instead no automatic workload distribution happen.
It looks like no resources link exist between TAB...
Any suggestion about?

Hi,
In Staffing tab there is required capacity and available capacity.
Required capacity is given to role and that can be distributed in general tab if distribution activated to that role type.
Available capacity will be associated with the resource and that is given during staffing.
You can not distribute required capacity in staffing tab as it is taken from Role.

Room role and user assignment

Hi ,
We are on EP6 SP10 and have a strange issue involving
collaboration rooms.We are having MS-AD UME.
Now after changing from one ldap to another , some users
are displayed as ldap id's in the rooms while some are not.
They are displayed properly with name itself.
Why is this so? Is this because they have been deleted in the
ldap but not in the room , something like that.
Also there is no way to remove these id's from the room too,
this generates a runtime error.
Any help on this would be appreciated

Sound reasonable, if this is in fact your situation.,

Ýou could try to remove the users from the corresponding group via the UME. For each room, there is a group created in the UME with the name "ROOM_[roomname]_MAIN" and the ID "ROOM_[roomid]_MAIN". Open that group and try to remove the user entries in question from there.

Authorization group in Z-Table and user assignment

Hello,
I have created Z table which stores sensitive data and have created maintenance view. I want particular users only to have change access to this table through SM30 and for that I have created my own autorization group. Now my question is: How I can assign user names to this authorization group? how does it work? Is this through Role assignment to user profile? I dont have any basis support help for me for this task and hence trying to do it myself in sandbox system.
Since this is not my domain step by step help will be appreciated.

Role assigenment and workset

Hi All,
I am looking into workset and role assignment functionalist of Portal. Inside Top level navigation panel, In first level I want to show My news and on second level I want to show BBC, CNN, Sky according to user and role assignment.
Currently I have created a workset called My News and added the three different iViews as delta link into this workset. All the iViews have different read permission i.e. BBC_role, cnn_role and sky_role and no end user access is allowed. Now if User logged in as bbc_role he do not see My News in first level navigation. If I assign workset My News into role bbc_role then again login as bbc_role, I see all the three links inside My News.
Can any one suggest how can I make it possible so that if I login as bbc_role I see My News and BBC inside this. If I login as user with role bbc_role and cnn_role assigned I see My News and bbc, cnn inside that. while if I login with user who have CNN_role and sky_role assigned I see My news and cnn, sky inside it.

Transport roles and analysis authorization with user assigned

Hi expert,
I face with this problem transport roles and analysis authorization with user assigned. When I have created a transport request to move the roles and analysis authorization from development system to test system. I couldnu2019t maintain the user assigned, after transport I have to assigned manually all of user or create a program to fill AGR_USER table or there are other way.

Hi,
In role administration, you have the following options for transporting roles:
You can download the roles from one system and upload them into another
You can import the role from a remote system using RFC
You can transport the roles with the transport function.
Role upload loads all role data, including authorization data from a file into the SAP system. The user assignments for the role and the generated profiles for the role are exceptions in this case.
Transporting Roles with the Role Transport Function
       1.      Start the role administration function by choosing Tools ® Administration ® User Maintenance ® Role Administration ® Roles (transaction PFCG).
       2.      Enter the role to be transported and choose Transport Role.
The Mass Transport of Roles screen appears. You can control the default settings for the options Also transport single roles for composite roles and Also transport generated profiles for roles using Customizing switches (see Role Administration Functions in the section Functions of the Utilities Menu).
You should not change the authorizations profiles of the role after you have included the role in a transport request. If you need to change the profiles or generate them for the first time, transport the entire role again afterwards.

Roles Creating and assigning to user

Hi all,
Am creating a role as venki & granting some privileges to that role i.e, create session,create table...
Then am creating a user & assigning a role "venki" to the created user.
then after connecting to the user am unable to create a table in that user, am getting privilege problem..
Please give a solution..

A question about users assigned roles extraction

Dear all,
I have a question about users assigned roles list extraction. I need the list of the users who have already been created along with their assigned roles. According to what I found on Google, there is a table named AGR_USERS which provides the roles assigned to each user. Yet, this table provides only the SAP ID of each user along with the assigned roles. What I need more is to have also the first name and second name of each user.
So, do you know any table providing at least the following information:
1) First name of each user
2) Second name of each user
3) SAP ID of each user
4) All assigned roles to each user.
NOTE: I really need to have first name and second name in separate columns

I don't know anything about ABAP programming, is there any transaction allowing to create this join? As it seems to me the column "UNAME" in the table "AGR_USERS" and the column "BNAME" in the table "USER_ADDR", both refer to the SAP ID of the user. As a result the condition of the join would be "WHERE (UNAME = BNAME)", is there any transaction/programme allowing to create this join?

Its possible to access the list of user and their roles from portal in several ways:-
Approach 1:
User Admin -> Import/Export -> User Data Export -> Press Export Button -> Copy the user content and store in a seperate file -> Done.
Approach 2:-
You can write a custom progrram in Java using UME API to get the portal user information. You can use webdynpro for java or JSP Dynpage/abtract portal component to use UME API.

Assigning roles to different users in GP

We have developed a small application using CAF.The UI part is done using Webdynpro module which is a part of CAF project. Now we have to apply Guided procedures to this application .
I have followed steps in this link to create a process (My First Process), and got result.

Now I have to do the same for our application.For eg: In "My First Process" , the role of Applicant is assigned to one user, and the role of HR Manager is assigned to another user.
In our application, many people has done modules.I want to create different roles (like applicant ,HR Manager in My Process) and assign each role to the user who has developed that module.
Actually we are not using NWDI . But we integrated all modules into one application manually.Is it possible to achieve the above mentioned goals ?

Do I require to follow the steps,
step1 :In GP design time and choose Create Callable Object Type Process Control, and select Visual Approval.
step2 :For the purposes of the process that you create, define the same input parameters as the output parameters that you have defined for the data input form.
In our application already created views(webdynpro views) are there.Still we need to create data input form and define input and output parameters ?.
