Fabric Manager SA not updating 3.3(1c)

Fabric Manager SA not updating 3.3(1c). When I make zone changes or when a port goes down it won't update even after doing a rediscover or resync. Is this a bug in FM 3.3(1c)?

When FM was installed, was the option to continuously monitor the fabric after is was discovered? Not sure if this is your issue.
If you exit and then log back into FM after the change occurs, and is not observed, does the change show up? If the change is still not seen then I would suspect a bug and ask you to open a case with your MDS service provider. If the change is seen upon the new log in, then I would look into the option to 'monitor continuously'.
Hope this helps,
Mike

  • Sharepoint 2013 Active Directory Import- Manager field not updating

    Hi,
      SharePoint 2013 Active directory import  -Manager field not updating
    Concern/Issue-
     We are using SharePoint and configured the Active Directory Import .First import it seems everything is working fine and OOB Organization chart  built using User profile data is coming out right.
    Now the user is moved from one Organization Unit to Another.
    Now our Manager field is not Updating .There is change in AD manager attribute but not reflecting in the SharePoint User profile.
    Manger field is mapped to "manager" attribute in SharePoint.
    We tried removing the user and Re-Import using Incremental import but no luck.
    Thanks for help in advance
    Sachin

    Moving a user from one OU to another in AD won't normally change the Manager attribute in AD.  You would need to edit the user's organization settings to change the manager value in AD.  I've also seen these changes not be picked up unless something
    other than just the manager field in AD changing.  Try changing something like Office location and see if the manager change is picked up by AD Import.

  • Activity stream in CC desktop manager is not updated

    Hello, the activity stream on the Home panel of the Adobe CC desktop manager is not updated. I'm logged, I sync, I reinstalled the Adobe CC manager. I use the same Adobe CC account on another MacBookPro OS X 10.10 and the activity stream in the Home panel is fine.
    MacBookAir OSX 10.10.1, Adobe CC (2014), no firewall

    I'm having the opposite problem.  All those listed in the screen shot as "Install" have been installed.
    Deleting OPM.db and downloading and installing CreativeCloudInstaller.dmg did not fix the issue.
    Do I really need to delete all of my installed apps and starting from scratch?

    Apps are listed as "Install" when they've already been installed

  • Application Manager is not updating

    Application manager is not updating and i keep getting an A12E5 error. I have also tried to install Creative Cloud app and i get error A12E6. I have a CC account and would like to start using the new software but i cannot install any of the managers to be able to access this. I am on OS 10.7.5. I have checked all my ethernet and internet connections with my IT and i am connected. Please can someone help with this as i am now quite frustrated with trying to figure out what the issue is and none of the forum threads appear to be woriking for me.

    I have tried that solution and it doesn't work for me. Creative cloud desktop app is not installed on my machine as i cannot get the Adobe Application Manager to work which comes up with error A12E5.
    Uninstall the Creative Cloud Desktop application.
    Mac OS
    Using Finder, navigate to /Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers/ and double-click Adobe Creative Cloud.
    Follow the onscreen instructions.
    i cannot do this as it is not on my machine. Issue appears to be Adobe Application Manager where it keeps telling me that it can't update and this is holding up the Creative cloud installation as well as all my CC updates.

  • Fabric Manager does not start

    Hello,
    I get the message:
    "Error Login - Fabric Manager
    Unable to login to server!
    FMS is still starting up.
    Please wait and try again."
    I restarted the Cico service, I rebooted the server...
    ... same result.
    What can I do?

    Hello,
    On or "good working" sa005265 Fabric Manager Server:
    C:\Documents and Settings\jd04841.DOM001>netstat -a -n -o | findstr 0.0:80
    TCP 0.0.0.0:80 0.0.0.0:0 LISTENING 5304
    TCP 0.0.0.0:8009 0.0.0.0:0 LISTENING 5304
    This server works OK wih FM Web Client using localhost, IP or sa005265, local on server or remote Internet Explorer.
    On our "bad working" sa005266
    C:\Documents and Settings\jd04841>netstat -a -n -o | findstr 0.0:80
    TCP 0.0.0.0:80 0.0.0.0:0 LISTENING 4
    We found a system service "4" taking port :80!
    For some reason there were two web servers contending for the port MS IIS and Apache.
    When MS IIS is de-installed everything works again for FM WEb Client on port :80 ;-))
    Can it be that FM comes with MS IIS for version 4 and uses Apache for version 5?
    We reinstalled from scratch FM version 5.
    All is working now!

  • Wiring managed beans - managed-property not updated.

    I have a search page with a text field for entering a substring search.
    Upon clicking submit, a list will be displayed below based on the given substring.
    I wired two managed beans together: one was a substring of type String,
    the other a facade that has a getSubstring and setSubstring method.
    The Facade also has a getList method that returns a list.
    Session:<h:outputText value="#{substring}"/>
    List: <h:outputText value="#{Facade.list}"/>
    What happens is that the session variable is being updated everytime I submit the form
    but the list is the one that was displayed the very first time the form was submitted.
    Subsequent changes to the substring has no effect on the list.
    I tried this because I read somewhere that this is an alternative to putting the
    properties of the form together with the facade.
    However, upon reading the documentation of the struts-config,xml,
    The managed-property will only be set at the creation of the managed bean.
    and not everytime the tag referencing the bean is evaluated.
    Any workaround to making this work?
    Given the scenario above, what is the best design for it?
    I'm thinking of putting an action field in the commandButton
    and then set the list as a session variable,
    which will be accessed by the jsp after the action forwards to the page.
    Is this strategy any good?

    Sure... here it is...
    <faces-config>
    <managed-bean>
    <managed-bean-name>substring</managed-bean-name>
    <managed-bean-class>java.lang.String</managed-bean-class>
    <managed-bean-scope>session</managed-bean-scope>
    </managed-bean>
    <managed-bean>
    <managed-bean-name>Facade</managed-bean-name>
    <managed-bean-class>com.Facade</managed-bean-class>
    <managed-bean-scope>session</managed-bean-scope>
    <managed-property>
         <property-name>substring</property-name>
         <value>#{substring}</value>
    </managed-property>
    </managed-bean>
    </faces-config>
    public class GroupingFacade {
         private String substring;
         public void setSubstring(String substring;
              this.substring=substring;
         public String getSubstring(){
              return substring;
         public List getList(){
              ArrayList list=new ArrayList();
              //Get list from DAO
              //DAO.getList(substring);
              return list;
    }

  • C:\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\Logs not updating

    Hi,
    Anybody exprienced the scenario where logfiles in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\Logs don't update anymore?
    F.e. wsyncmgr.log is of beginning of April, no recent logs there except for 7 items: smsprov.smspxe, smsdpusage  (date from Today).
    Pls advise.
    J.
    Jan Hoedt

    Open ConfigMgr Service Manager and check the logging options (is logging for each component enabled at all? Is it really logging to the directory you examined?) You can also open the logs using notepad. cmtrace.exe sometimes does not display the entire
    content if there are malformated lines.
    Having installed ConfigMgr on the C:\ drive is not the best setup BTW.

  • My "Adobe installer" is not running  and "adobe application manager" will not update....

    My question?
    When did making art get so technical? Also, have the software engineers at Adobe finally  begun to shed the Cheetos from their beards and then crown themselves as artists extraordinaire? Well good for them! Bad for me! No offense, but I've  been wrestling with this for quite a while. Without a single Cheeto.....
    Could somebody at least tell me that this problem is mostly imaginary? I can relate to that actually, one time in Santa Cruz...
    Bridge crashes frequently, especially during a drag and drop action. Photoshop crashes less frequently, but when even a mere moment's worth of my eternal genius has been shed, all life weeps, including you...unknowingly...
    I was then instructed by the Adobe to perform a strange ritual using an ancient language called the "DOS" and to inquire for the Adobe of the little known " fsutil file setshortname" routine. Then the Adobe would know my true name, and where my short paths were (?).I tried very hard to comply with the demands of the Adobelites who lounged in the Cloud but fled to this place for counsel./
    This is all true. My mother said so.
    Thanks, and with much too much time on his hands,
    Erich

  • Fabric Manager not on switches.

    Greetings,
    I just took delivery of some 9216A's and found that Fabric Manager is not on them anymore. Device Manager is but for how long?? I have to download FM or get it for the non existant CD's. When did that start? Being a typical Cisco end user means I never get a login to download software as my vendor is supposed to look after me. It was much easier when it was on the switch. Perhaps not everyone works in sites with easy access to the internet...

    Thanks for the reply. Now I am keen to work out why it is so big. I hope it not just bloated for the sake of it.

  • Trouble installing Fabric Manager 5.0.7 on 2008R2

    Hello all,
    We are about to upgrade our older MDS-9124s to MDS-9148s and I wanted to install the new Fabric Manager. I am trying to install version 5.0.7. I am having a couple issues but am not sure if they are all related. First if I try to select the install links from within start they do not work. The only way I can get the install to start is double clicking the jre file direct. The installation process starts and the dies at what appears to be trying to start postgresql with an error message that initdb cannot be processed because the libpq.dll file cannot be found. If I try to re-run the install it dies becuase the postgre user already exists. I can delete that local account and the installation process will restart only to once again die with the dll error.
    Just for grins I ran the postgresql install seperate and it seems to go through a lot more prompts but figured this was not the proper way to get it installed so canceled it. I also tried running the install from the cmd line as I found in another post and it dies at basically the same point but has a net error message 2221. It looks at though this to means that the user created cannot be accessed so postgresql will not start.
    I am disabling my virus software while trying all of these items.
    Suggestions??/

    @dynamoxxx,
         This is a new install and I just completed getting it installed on Friday. I had to actually log onto the server as the local administrator to get it to install. An Admin equivalent account apparently was not good enough. Once I did that it completed just fine. I have come across another apparetly known isse and that is if you exit Fabric Manager and try to go directly back in a box pops up that says Fabric Manager is already running. This is apparently because java never shuts down. You kill the javaws servise and Fabric Manager starts back up without any issue. Of course this also works if you log off the server and back on. This was somthing that I talked with TAC about this morning and since they have quit working on Fabric Manager is not going to be fixed.
    That brings me to DCNA. I am moving to Cisco Prime for the rest of my infrastructure and TAC says that DCNA is a part of that or that basically is DCNA. They were telling me that based upon the code level I am running (5.0(1a)) on my switches that Fabric Manager is better. If  I was running newer 6.2 or 5.2 code then use the DCNM and apparently 5.2(8) is newer than 6.2. They also recommended me waiting until 5.2(8b) come out before upgrading the switches and then moving to DCNA. I will figure out that step once I get my SAN migration completed in a few weeks. Until then I am planning to keep what I have.

    Hi,
    After reinstall the Same version of N96's firmware using Nokia Software Updater, press *#0000#, and then Device Manager is opened, but I found the Latest Update in Device Manager shows Not Updated.
    Is this normal? whether the NSU updating normal or not?

    Even though the iPod shows as been connected, it might not have actually received a valid IP address via DHCP from your Wi-Fi access point or router.  Head to Settings -> Wi-Fi and tap the > next to the network you are connected. If 169.xxx.xxx.xxx is listed for an IP Address, then your iPod did not receive a valid IP address.  To correct this you can reboot your router by unplugging it from power for about 30 seconds.
    It wouldn't hurt to also reset your iPod.  To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.

  • Fabric Manager MDS 9200 Series.

    How do you activate 120 Days eval on MDS 9200 series for Fabric Manager. Do I need to install a license?

    Fabric Manager does not need a license. What does need a license is Fabric Manager Server. This is a dedicated machine that sits between the client machine, and the MDS fabric. It lets you open and manage multiple fabrics at one time. It also us used for detailed performance statics collection.
    If you want to know the status of the current licenses on the MDS, issue this command from the command line interface.
    show license usage
    This will show if the FMS license has been triggered into the 120 day trial period. As far as I know, the only way to trigger it is to setup the MDS for statistics collection using the 'Performance Manager' of Fabric Manager.
    Hope this helps,
    Mike
