Not just facebook I see this problem in random websites using firefox the text on the buttons is invisible.

You can try to disable OMTC and leave hardware acceleration in Firefox enabled.

I downloaded the latest version of Firefox 13 and ALL webpages appear wrong

I downloaded latest version of Firefox 13 after getting prompt that I didn't have latest version of Firefox. No webpage looks correct including this one. All webpages appear "plain". For example where I am typing in details right now there should be a box or something to show me where to put details - no box - just blank space. I use Google as my homepage. The Firefox logo used to be on the Google home page but it's missing. When I go to Google Mail there are no boxes to check off delete mail etc... when I go to the same pages using Internet Explorer all pages show correctly so something is wrong on Firefox. I uninstalled and re-installed Firefox without deleting my personal settings etc but this made no difference. If my only option is to delete all my info I will have to do that but have been on Firefox and really don't want to lose this info. I have checked all of the settings when I looked at not all webpages appear correctly in HELP and all setting are correct. What do I do? I don't want to go back to using IE but that is basically what I am having to do right now to function to do banking etc...

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Accessibility settings.

Font in mail and some webpages is 'funky'

I've tried to change the default font but I keep getting some 'funky' font show up on some webpages and some emails. Why and how to correct it? Anyone have a clue what I'm talking about? Hope someone can help! TIA!

i found and disabled the funky font in my font book and now everything is normal again - thx goodness! but I never did figure out why or how or where the system was picking up this funky font to use for email and webpages. i'd like to keep the font if it won't interfere with the rest of my system. anyone else ever have this issue?

Facebook and Slacker no longer working with Firefox. Still work with Explorer. Until a week ago problem did not exist.

I am for about one week not able to input information on Facebook. Also the Facebook page appears in a huge font. Regarding Slacker I do not see any available online radio stations. Until about a week ago everything worked fine. At present I can work with Internet Explorer, but at present can no longer work with Firefox.

Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 7 is not displaying embedded flash video contents on Facebook and some other sites

When I want to watch Flash videos embedded into Facebook pages videos are not displayed as they should be. Where the video should be seen there is only blank white space. Audio is running normally though. If I click FULL SCREEN video mode Flash video
is displayed normally. Only in small screen modes Flash videos are not displayed properly.
I have tried playing same videos using Google Chrome which is also using Flash ActiveX and everything is working fine there. Firefox which is using Flash Plugin also works fine. Only IE11 is not working as it should.
I have already reinstalled Flash Player and disabled all IE11 addons but problem is still there. I would say this is not Adobe Flash Player problem as in Chrome everything works fine.
Both the latest versions of Adobe Flash Player and updated IE11 are installed on my computer.
Can you, please, tell me what should I do to fix this problem.

I would say this is not Adobe Flash Player problem as in Chrome everything works fine.
Comparing with Chrome may not be relevant but it sounds like something about the screen size is making the Flash program act differently in the two environments. Supposedly there is a debug version of Flash but I don't know if there is a debug version
for the Flash that is embedded in W8.
Is there a publicly accessible repro page someone could use to compare their symptoms with yours?

While on Facebook, I always need to refresh the page to know I received a message, comment or whatever else. Also, while on game sites such as Gamespot, Firefox does not play any videos. All this is happening in version 3.6.9. What is the cause for this?

How ram does your machine have have you tried shut the machine down pull the power plug for a few minutes and plug it back in and restart the computer. The only thing I can think of is Low onn Ram or the speed of your connection. It might be the player you are using as well. download VLC Player itwill play everything.

Firefox is not allowing me to open games through Facebook and is telling me the link is broken, what do I do about this?

Everytime I click on the bookmark on my facebook page to open farmville it will not open but tells me that the page is not there and the connection is not available. And since I have updated to Firefox 4 my facebook page is super slow loading which is causing me to lose out on numerous things that I try to collect for my games. Do I need to delete Firefox 4 and go with something else? Chrome or something others have good things to say about? Firefox was great before the last 2 updates and I hate to say it but it is horrible now. I need this problem with opening my farmville game fixed now because it will cost me if I cannot open it. Hopefully something will be done right away.

I get what I call "a blinking screen effect" in some webpages, what is that?

Lately, the webpages "blink" and I don't know what that is? In some cases a new page opens behing the main page I am looking at with some sort of advertisement, or it just "blinks" like if it wants to go somewhere and it can't.

I can not get Firefox to reset to normal size. I have tried everything including reinstalling it. Only some webpages like Facebook are large & it will not reset but in IE it is normal. Please help because I hate IE & really do not want to use it!

When I open Facebook and a few other webpages the screen size is large and some of the info will not appear. I have tried everything to reset the size and it does not work. I have even zoomed out and the missing info still does not appear. But if I log into IE it is just fine and all the info is there and is useable. I hate IE and do not want to use it so please help me fix this issue with Firefox.

CTRL+0 (<--that is a zero) will reset your zoom level on affected pages. Firefox remembers the zoom level you last used on a page.

When I open 2 or more browsers of Firefox, click to open and close email it pops up the First Firefox browser since I have verrsion 6 as of yesterday. And some times the tool bar dosen't appear or have to refresh it.
