What data points does the Facebook iOS SDK auto-collect?
Meaning developer doesn’t need to use a setter method at all and SDK is just able to get the value automatically.
Does Facebook iOS SDK automatically collect IFA without requiring it to be set manually?
Does Facebook iOS SDK automatically collect latitude and longitude without requiring it to be set manually?
What iTunes permissions does Facebook require implementing their iOS SDKs?

Wouldn't it be more appropriate to ask Facebook about their iOS integration?

I'm currently building a apps with adobe air... and i do really like it. Not always easy dealing with native extension at first but now we are setup, we really like the possibility.
We have one big problem. Our apps need to send an email with a file.... now i found no possiblity without native extension so we just tought would be easy to use nativeExtension for a email... WRONG. We need to include the MessageUI framework ... (why the #$%#$ it's not alreary included in the core framework of air SDK!!! i ask you!) but we face a problem... we develop everything on PC..... i don't wanna have to change to mac only for the facti need to embed MessageUI framework in the nativeExtension and need IOS 5.0 SDK and mac to customize the build from ATD.. make no sense..
So... here the question... Is there anybody at ADOBE that can give me a timeline on when you guy think it would be possible to use custom framework on a pc ? we need MessageUI to send email.

i know to compile xcode we need a mac!! we build our own native extension already with a mac!!! the problem is the messageUI framework is not by default in the adobe air SDK 3.3 so we need to embed in the build of the apps ( not in the build of the xCode native extension) the messageUI framework and for that... we need a mac to add the IOS sdk in the ADT compiler... and that is the problem.. we have access to a mac to compile our native extension... but i don't want my project to have to compile on a mac....
As for the smtp emailer the problem is that we don't have access to the contact list .... neither the SMTP information of the iphone so this solution will not work...

Joins between DATA COLLECTIONS and TABLES

I would like to know if is there any way to create one data collection with a query result, but I must join this data collection with an exist table, I cant use the GLOBAL TEMPORARY TABLE because I cant create a table in the module. I would like to do just what the SQL Server do with the @.

Continously data collection and events

Hi Folks,
I need a suggestion about how to get DATA continously and trigger another events simultaneously .
Here is my vi snippet with continously monitoring the motor value and direction but wanna trigger and change it movement in rel and abs.
I also have two hall sensors as end switch called in events.
Can you help me ??

The attached picture tells nothing about, what you've done in your code or what design pattern are you using now...!!
flongnos said correctly, some design pattern based out of 'Parallel Loops' is needed, when you have two or more processes that need to run simultaneously and continuously (may be at different rate).

So, I need to be able to find a app or web app that will work with Ipad/Iphone that I can collect data while Im in the field and when I return to my PC I can sync the info to have it poplulate a pre-existing PDF document. Is there such a way to do this?

At the moment i've set up the attached but I can only get it to input one set of values. how can I get it to continuosly output the files? Secondly I would rather out put them to a spreadsheet format, with the five different numbers (three from I/O assistant and two from Date/Time String) in diferent columns? Im trying to use the write spreadsheet VI but it needs an orange connection?

Serial data collection and display

I write machine code for microchip cpu's and have a project that transmits
about 80 characters of hex data at 115k baud. I would like to use labview
(or ?) to collect the data and display it on a pc. Does anyone know if about
80 bytes sent at that speed and repeating as often as 10ms will choke
LabView? Also, if anyone with a good understanding of LabView serial com is
in or near Las Vegas I would be interested in their services.

The data rates you're talking about should be doable with LV as long as there isn't something else running on the machine that is consuming an inordinate amount of processor time.
The only thing to be careful of is putting too much processing in the acquisition loop. What exactly are you trying to do?

Howdy,
DATA COLLECTION - refers to a database table or view. This is the data that the search help will search through and display based on the parameters provided, so you can create your own view for the search help if you want the search to cover multiple tables.
SEARCH HELP EXIT - You can create a function module to be able to alter the Search Help's selection and results at various events throughout the search help. An example of this function module is provided with some documentation in function module F4IF_SHLP_EXIT_EXAMPLE.

Data Collection in APS

Hi,
We have both the APS and OPM applications on the same instance. We have run data pull program. The required data such as organizations, items & formulas are coming into APS. But, item forecasts entered in Forecasting form of OPM Process Planning are not being pulled. In other words there's no demand schedule.
We have checked every bit of setup involved. Yet we have no idea what's going wrong?
Is this a bug or are we doing something wrong?

Hello Ashok,
At the risk of repetition let me explain the set-up for use of forecast
in OPM-APS and you should be able to determine the source of the problem
you're encountering while transferring the forecast data.
1. Have a forecast in OPM for the required item in the "required
warehouse"
2. Have a Schedule (in MPS of OPM) which has this forecast associated
with it.
3. Ensure that the Make to Stock indicator is turned ON for this
schedule
4. Ensure that if the make to order indicator is also turned on then the
forecast quantities are not "consumed" by sales order quantities.
5. Ensure that the plant for which planning is being done has the
warehouse (mentioned in forecast) as a replenishment warehouse
(Plant-Warehouse Effectivities) for the forecasted items
6. Do a data collection and try the LOV for MDS. - You should see a MDS
with a name which starts with the letters in the name of the schedule
and thw warehouse code.
This MDS is generated by the data extract program (while doing data
extraction) and during the generation of this MDS the forecast is
adjusted for the sales orders quantities for the required warehouses.

ATP Based on Data Collection

I am working on a fresh implementation project where I want to implement Scheduling Features of OM. (Based upon Collected Data)
I have already applied Patch related to R12.1.2 and also ran ATP Partition Program. Now, all the table and Partition names are in Pair. I have dropped unwanted partitions as well. Setup Profile Options
Now, my question is, at what time, I need to run Data Collection? (After loading all the items / loading all the open transactions)
How Often, I need to run Data Collection?
Do I need to select all the organizations while setting up the instance?

There are few notes available on Metalink related to Data Collection and related Setup but it will be really great if someone can help me setup and understand this feature.

Run the DC after loading all items and onhand quantities and open suppliers (po, work orders) etc.

You should run a full DC every night and schedule a program called "Continue collection" every 20 minutes or so.
Do I need to select all the organizations while setting up the instance?
No. Setup only those orgs which will impact ATP.

Averaging during data collection

I would like to set up a general vi to take data using three different methods. The first method would be software triggered, and we would use it fro sampling 0.2 Hz on up. The second method is hardware timed, and this would be used for sampling at 100 hz and up. The third method I would like is where I need help. I would like to setup a vi to collect data using software timed, but every time it goes to get a sample, I would like to perform a hardware timed data collection and average the results. For example, I would set the software timed data collection to one second, and every one second I would like to collect 100 samples at 1000 Hz and return the average value of the 100 samples.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to do thi
s?

Problems with Data collection in CM 5.0.6

Hello:
I have installed LMS 3.0.1 and CM 5.0.6, and I have some problems with CM:
-Although data collection is scheduled, this does not run.
I try to launch it from CM menu, it asks if I want the collection of all devices or the new ones.
I try the two options but it does not do anything.
-I can launch the UT acquisition but it does not collect all the hosts.
I compare the configuration of the devices that "works" and the others and dont see no difference.
-The UT acquisition does not discover our Ip phones.
-In data collection settings there are 5 devices that are included but not managed.
-When I restart the server the data collection works fine, but the next day it doesn't work.

You need to contact TAC for the patch.Kindly click on Action --> open Service Request and it will put all these notes and logs of this thread to the TAC case.
Once the data collection issue will be fixed and the correct number of devices being data collected properly, then you need to make sure to add "Call Manager" to Common Services with the community string credentials and run the data collection and UT Acquisitions to get the IP Phones discovered.

We are working on cash flow forecasting model, i.e going forward 12 months, which in written in MS Excel. We update it with actual data recorded in SAP B1 (Ver 8.8 PL18) A manual process.

Problem setting up data collection for a performance problem

We have a performance problem on our production environment: there is a query that is long to display specially on specific records involving a lot of détails. I had the idea to set up data collection to investigate the problem.
I used the wizard to set up data collection with default settings.
I had created a database PERF_DW on our test server for that purpose.
I didn't have any problem with the wizard: it created data collection sets and SQL Server agents tasks and probably many objects. But I don't know where I missed something but I didnt, have the chance to specify the database I wanted to tune
and even when I started data collection, I couldn't figure out where were the reports.
Then I tought that I did it all wrong so I stopped data collection and dropped the database and tried to deleted the jobs created and I had the following message:
