Faces Servlet not loaded in Oracle AS 10g 10.1.2
I have a created a very simple application using JDeveloper 10.1.3.4 on JSF. I deployed this application to Oracle AS 102 R.2 (10.1.2) ... no error occures while deployment. But I am unable to run this application , as no URL patterns are working ... plus in the OEM, the application is not loaded (Faces Servlet is not loaded) ... Although in web.xml its mentioned to load the servlet autometically, but not working... Can any one helps me...
I've just tested it with my 10.1.2 installation without problems.
Be aware that you
- use JDK 1.4.2 in JDeveloper
- use J2EE 1.3 while developing JSF pages
- have the ADF runtime installed on the AS
- should use URLs like http://host:port/contextroot/faces/page.jspx

Hi,
I installed weblogic 12.1.2.0.0 with RHEL5.6. After the installation, I tried to post the following class path in setDomainEnv.sh file under the domain home directory,
POST_CLASSPATH="/prosun/jasper/jasperreports-3.6.0.jar:/prosun/jasper/commons-digester-1.7.jar:/prosun/jasper/log4j-1.2.15.jar:/prosun/jasper/org.apache.commons.beanutils_1.6.jar:/prosun/jasper/org.apache.commons.collections_3.1.jar:/prosun/jasper/org.apache.commons.logging_1.0.4.jar:/prosun/jasper/iText-2.1.0.jar:/prosun/jasper/groovy-all-1.5.5.jar"
While i am trying to start the Admin server, the server didn't started and following exception is reported in nohup.out file. Please help me to resolve this issue.
The above library jars are required for our applications.

Regards,
Anand Krishnanhi, you should not do nothing with user root.
please, don't use root again for weblogic administration.
list all files with root permissions:
move to Middleware Home, example: cd /u01/app/oracle/Middleware
find . -user root
if there are files with root permissions, change it to oracle:oinstall
I saw this:
Could not load Logmanager "oracle.core.ojdl.logging.ODLLogManager"
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.core.ojdl.logging.ODLLogManager
Please check in DOMAIN_HOME/bin/setDomainEnv.sh file if exist this:

export JAVA_OPTIONS
MWCONFIG_CLASSPATH=${FMWCONFIG_CLASSPATH}${CLASSPATHSEP}${COMMON_COMPONENTS_HOME}/modules/oracle.odl_11.1.1/ojdl.jar
export FMWCONFIG_CLASSPATH
if exist, replace for:

export JAVA_OPTIONS
if not existe, its necesary for you to use /prosun/jasper/org.apache.commons.logging_1.0.4.jar in your classpath?. If it isn't necesary delete it, and restart the AdminServer. -
Script to know how many statements are not loaded in oracle CM
Hi,
Can some one would help me on how to prepare a script to know the bank statements are not loaded into oracle CM and how many checks under that particular statement are not loaded??
I have the following info with me..
1. The statements are loaded in a temporary table as soon as we run statement loader program.
2. Then the records will get into ce_statement_headers_int_all and ce_statement_lines_interface.
3. Then they will get loaded into ce_statement_headers_all and ce_statement_lines tables.
Now, the only thing i am confused is how to get to know the statements list that are not loaded into oracle along with the error message. i am confused which tables will give the exact info ce_statement_headers_int_all and ce_statement_lines_interface or ce_headers_interface_errors and ce_lines_interface_errors??? immediate help would be highly appreciated and its very urgent...........
Thanks.Hi Helios,
I dint get you. This is not something which SR can be raised. I need to know how script can be written to know the statements that are not loaded in oracle cash management. I need to prepare a notification where in that should contain how many statements have been loaded successfully and how many are not on a daily basis...
Thanks. -

Edited by: user12924280 on Apr 6, 2013 12:36 AMSince you didn't say "thank you", I assumed my time was of no value to you.
However, I shall try again.
There is no relationship between instance failure and VIP failover. How can there be? What if you are running ten instances on each node, and one fails? Would you want the VIP to relocate? And I've already told you how to test it: kill the node. Just reboot it. -
Host('sqlldr') is not working in oracle forms 10g
oracle database version:10.1.2.0
oracle forms version:10g
client ans server are on the same machine.
when i am trying to load the file in to oracle,i wrote the when-button-pressed trigger as
host('sqlldr');
when i run the form its not giving any result.
i tried by using batch file also itn is giveing the error like
message 2100 not foundWhat happens when you run "SQLLDR" from a command window? It sounds like the directory where the SQLLDR executable is located is not in your PATH. You can either add it to your path or fully qualify the path to the executable as Christian suggests.

Single EAR multiple WAR model - faces-config not loading
Hi
I am deploying my application on weblogic 10.3 My application is in form of a Single-EAR-Multiple-WAR model. The application starts up correctly but when i bavigate from one module (WAR) to another (WAR), it doesnt initializes the managed beans. It is not able to load the faces-config from the second WAR.
can anyone please let me know ehat am i missing?
Thanks a lot
-AnkurHi,
This is not an issue caused by having multiple wars inside same ear.
This looks like a runtime exception when trying to render the jsp (The jsp is compiled to a sevlet and the inside the service method of the servlet you are getting this exception). Double check you jsp for the possible cause of this exception.
Thanks,

ICONS are not appearing in oracle forms 10g
Dear All,
Good Morning.
I am using oracle 10g forms.
I had my old application in forms6i. I migrated it into forms 10g.
Application is running fine no function problem there is.
But icons are appeared into button.
Please tell me way, how can i configure for icons.The above mentioned thread is talking about icons not appearing in the Forms builder and not at runtime. I don't think it will help you.
In Webforms displaying "Icons" it's a little bit different than client/server, Webforms use .gif files as icons and not .ico files and these files should be Jarred in a .Jar file and put in a directory where the JVM can reach.
Follow the instruction in the [url http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/forms/pdf/webicons.pdf]Webicons file in page 3 under the "Don't want to learn about the details, Just get started!" it's very easy and fun.

BMP is not displayed in Oracle Forms 10g
Hi,
I am trying to display logo on the custom logon form.
I have created an image item in the block. The following code is written in WNFI
DECLARE
Master_image VARCHAR2(80) := 'SS.bmp';
BEGIN
set_window_property(forms_mdi_window, window_state, maximize);
set_window_property(forms_mdi_window, Title, 'Accounting System');
READ_IMAGE_FILE(master_image, 'BMP', 'image_master');
END;
But the BMP is not getting displayed.
Am i missing something here?
Thanks
ATHi Gerd,

Language setting not loaded in Oracle 9i
I am using Oracle 9i. I've set nls_language=english and nls_date_language=english in init.ora and I've used 'show parameter' to verify that both parameters are set to English. Then I type select to_char(sysdate, 'mon') and I find the date is still not English. But If I use 'alter session set nls_language=English' and then I try again I find the date is English. Why does the parameter in init.ora has no effect?
perhaps you set it in the init but can be that your database is started with spfile.
I am almost sure that it is your case.
ensure that the database is started with init file so:
SQL> startup pfile=<path>/initSID.ora

Dear All,
I am unable to run my oracle 10g forms application on Linux machine which is runing Fedora 16.
i have tried to install jre 6 but mozilla firefox 10 is not loading my oracle 10 forms application, it says plugin missing.
Kindly help me to short out the problem.
java version "1.6.0_24"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea6 1.11.1) (fedora-65.1.11.1.fc16-i386)
OpenJDK Server VM (build 20.0-b12, mixed mode)
Regards.
Amit.Try with down grade of Mozilla firefox. may be version 6 to 8. not 9/10.
Firefox with 9 and higher doesn't support JRE version 1.6.XX.
Hopes this helps -
I have a C# windows application that started to give me the error when I try to run it:
Could not load file or assembly 'Oracle.DataAccess, Version=2.102.2.20.
I was adding and removing references and re-build when this started. The builds are successful Is there anything I can do to correct it? Other apps that I uses ODT are fine. The full error is below.
Thanks,
Kim
