Fail to add aia.jar in Jdeveloper

Hi,
I am compiling AIA demo in JDeveloper and got error "package oracle.apps.aia.cor.eh does not exist" for AIADemoErrorHandlerExtImpl.java.
I have added aia.jar in <JDEV home>/jdev/lib by "Tools->Preference->SOA". I even added aia.jar in project properties->library and class path.
Still the same error. When I type "import oracle.apps..." in the source code window, JDeveloper can not prompt the interface name. It seems that JDeveloper fails to load aia.jar.
When I add aia.jar in project library, the name under "Classpath entries" is "aia.jar" unlike other libraries which show reasonable names like "SOA runtime" or "BPEL runtime".
I deleted .jdeveloper user folder and restarted JDeveloper. Can't fix this problem.
I can open the aia.jar file and see the class files in it.
Any idea?
Thanks a lot!

  • Failed to install AIA extension to JDeveloper and open FP demo sourcecode

    Hi,
    I successfully installed FP 11.1.1.4 on Oracle linux (I didn't use OER). Then I want to open the source code of AIA FP Demo 11.1.1.4 in JDeveloper 11.1.1.4 and rebuild it.
    I used "Help->Check for Updates" to install "AIA Composite Application Framework" and "AIA Service Constructor". After restarting JDeveloper, I can't find these extensions in JDeveloper from "Help->About->Extension". I tried to install these extensions from local file. Still the same result, no error during procedure and nothing happened after restart.
    I reinstalled JDeveloper, the same problem. I even installed JDeveloper on another machine running Mac OS, still the same result. BTW, SOA composite extension is successfully installed.
    When I open the jws file shipped in FP demo in JDeveloper, it always pop up a error like this".....adf/META--INF/adf-config.xml is invalid". Actually there is not adf-config.xml included in the original source code? JDeveloper automatically created a adf-config.xml which seems not compatible with the source code.
    Anyone can hlep me out? I google AIA Demo error , find nothing useful.
    Thanks a lot!

    Hi there,
    I have just tried it. First I updated 'AIA Composite Application Framework','AIA Service Constructor' and 'SOA Composite' plugins. After the restart plugins were not installed and I could not create SOA or AIA project.
    Then I installed 'SOA Composite' plugin. After restart it was ok. Then 'AIA Service Constructor'. After restart it was OK. Finally I was going to install 'AIA Composite Application Framework' but I noticed version is 2.4 which I guess is not needed in 11g.
    Then you should navigate into Tools, Preferences, SOA and add <JDEV_HOME>/jdeveloper/lib/aia.jar to make the functions available to all projects.
    When you import jws it will be successfully migrated but you get an error that adf-config.xml is invalid.That file is not in original source codes but it is created during migration process. To fix invalid msg you have add link to metadata store into that file.

  • How to add a jar files to a project in JDeveloper 10g?

    I had created a sample appln using below imports
    import oracle.forms.handler.IHandler;
    import oracle.forms.ui.CustomEvent;
    import oracle.forms.properties.ID;
    import oracle.forms.ui.VBean;
    The above packages are available in frmall.jar only know?
    I tried to add the above jar in JDeveloper IDE (10.1.2.1.0).
    But i can't fild a exact menu in my iDE?
    How to add the above jar through menu?
    Thanks

    1. Select Tools>Project Properties.
    2. In Project properties window select Libraries.
    3. Add a project JAR with Add Jar/Zip button.

  • Applet not finding oracle.jdeveloper.layout.XYLayout. How to add to jar?

    hey guys, i have created an applet and it is unable to find oracle.jdeveloper.layout.XYLayout. How might I add this to my jar to be able to deploy it?

    not.
    Figure out what jar it's in, and add that jar to the classpath for the applet (and thus to the webserver in a location where the applet can load it from).
    See the documentation to figure out how to set an applet classpath.

    It seems that error is caused because OSB is unable to create temporary jar file in /tmp/alsbTempJars. I looked for path and actually directory alsbTempJars is not present on disk. I had already created that directory in the past so I can't figure why it has been deleted.
    Also I saw some out of disk space error in logs although I checked that it is at least 1Gb free at OSB mount point.
    We've realized of this problem when checking logs after we got an error working with OSB web console.
    To solve this error I had to create alsbTempJars directory and restart the node. Then error stopped and processing continued normaly. I think node activity was interrupted during error as I only see stack traces in log file.
    OSB runs in a Linux machine with user Oracle that is also owner of alsbTempJars directory.
    Hope someone could help us with this.
    Regards,
    Daniel.

    In case /tmp directory is automatically deleted, is it possible to configure a custom directory for alsbTempJars dir in OSB to assure it is never deleted?Add the -Djava.io.tmpdir=newTempDir parameter in the JAVA_PROPERTIES section of the setDomainEnv.sh script. This new location should be outside of the /tmp dir to avoid being cleared by any process.
    I think best soultion would be to have alsbTempJars automatically created whenever /tmp is purged.Doing it on the fly may not be possible however you may anytime raise an enhancement request with support and if prod dev approves it, you may get a fix.

  • Problem creating jar using JDeveloper

    I'm creating jar using JDeveloper..I need to keep two dll files in the jar. But if I create the jar in JDeveloper, it can't include the dll files. If the jar is created from command prompt, it can include the dll files. Can anyone tell me how can I include these dlls in my jar?

    Putting DLLs in your classes directory is dangerous (eg. Run->Clean Project.jpr will remove it). I use a different way to achieve that:
    When you double click on the deployment profile you'll see a dialog window containing a list of items. The one of interest is the one called File Groups. Select this item, click on the New button and add a new file group just for your DLLs.

  • How to add a jar file to a project

    I believe I have followed the necessary steps to add a jar file to my project. I have added this jar file as a new library and I see all the classes in it. I have even added it to my SessionBean1.java via the Add ---> Property menu. I noticed that this did not do the import of the class, so I did it myself. I also noticed that it did the drop downs and found the class for me automatically. Specifically, the IDE knows about the class layout and can see my class package as I type it out.
    So far so good....
    I then go to compile the project and I get the error:
    C:\Projects\safe\Safe\src\safe\SessionBean1.java:11: package com.dusa.bo does not exist
    import com.dusa.bo.BackofficePerson;
    Am I missing something? I looked around and it looks to me like the jar file is in the project and it should know about it. Again, I do know that the editor can find it, because as I type import ..... it then list "com" as an option to click on, then if I click on com, it will then list dusa ... and so on.
    Thanks

    I figured this out. Sorry for the post.

  • Add-on Status is Failed, but Add-on is connected

    Good Day!
    Hi Experts,
    I had created an installer for my Add-on for the client. This is a project from SAP B1 Studio.
    SAP B1 version is 9.0 PL11.
    1. The add-on is running ok in Debug Mode.
    2. I've successfully created an ARD File.
    3. Successfully installed ARD File.
    4. On Add-on Manager, when I tried to click Start, the add-on says Incorrect Connection String for Add-on. Even if the Status is Failed, the Add-on still executes. It still displays the custom form, the events, CFL etc.
    I've used the SAPBouicom.Dll in my debug folder, and I ensured the latest SAP B1 Studio and DI API is installed (PL11). I even removed the old files and reinstalled but the same result appears.
    Your help is greatly appreciated in this matter.

    i had already a Debug Code in my Environment.
    Dim sConnectionString As String
    SboGuiApi = New SAPbouiCOM.SboGuiApi
    sConnectionString = Environment.GetCommandLineArgs.GetValue(1).ToString
                    Try
                        SboGuiApi.Connect(sConnectionString)

    Ok, This thread might be of interest (mainly the clarification in post #25) http://forums.novell.com/forums/nove...ols-howto.html
    And the related TID (only as a reference in this case, not meant to apply that added python script) : CIFS not enabled properly on cluster resource that was created before upgrading to OES2 SP2
    Curious if you are trying to add CIFS after having created the resources? But then still, it should not be an issue anymore (as in should have been fixed).

  • Failed to add node to cluster

    Hey, I am currently migrating my cluster.
    I removed the server pool master according to the metalink note by doing a failover (stopped the agent on the server pool master)
    Deleted the old master (node2) from the server pool.
    Executed the cleanup script on node2 and switched it off
    Modified the cluster.conf on the remaining node and remove the entries for the old master node2.
    Replaced the old server with new hardware -
    same name - same ip.
    Now I try to add this server to the server pool, but I get a timeout message

    Did you remove the cluster rpms and then reinstall the rpms. I would
