False activesync warning

Hi,
every 5 minutes I receive the following warning in the eventlog:
A non-compliant phone is trying to connect with Exchange ActiveSync. However, the Exchange ActiveSync mailbox policy for user [SWV\SM_48e8ae1095d24aeb9] and device ID [EASProbeDeviceId141] requires phones to be compliant before they synchronize with Exchange
ActiveSync.
The account mentioned is one of the Healthmonitoring mailboxes of Exchange 2013 CU1. We've disabled non-compliant phones from the default policy, the message is being generated. It's a bit strange though that Exchange's own HealMonitoring mailbox isn't compliant
with ActiveSync. I've tried creating a separate policy spefic for the healt monitoring mailboxes, but there's no way to apply it to this special mailbox. Any idea how to suppres these 5 minute warnings without changing our default policy?
Frank.

Hi Frank,
Active Directory Groups like Domain admins or Enterprise admin cannot use Microsoft Active Sync with a exchange 2010 server. They get a error like this: “Result: Active Sync encountered a problem on the server"
The workaround is, from active directory users and computers, turn on advanced features on the view menu. Go to the user account, security tab and tick the advanced button. After that you have to enable Include inheritable permissions from this object’s
parent. Now Active Sync will work without the warning

  • Applescript: set display alert to false

    I am opening excel file with application "Numbers" and I receive the document warning alert box. I wish to ignore (set to false) these warning alerts. I've scripted:
    tell application "Numbers"
    set display alert to false
    (more stuff)
    end tell
    ...but I get a compile error on line 2
    please help. thanks

    I have looked through the Numbers Applescript dictionary and dont see any property called "display alert" taht can be set to false.
    I know that property works in Excel, however i dont think it exists in numbers.
    not sure how to accomplish this.

  • Build Fails for Alsaplayer in ABS

    Hi all,
    I couldn't get alsaplayer to run in GUI mode, but I found this thread that had the answer: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=42168.  So I followed the ABS wiki's directions for setting up ABS and I tried to run for alsaplayer (with the one line change in the PKGBUILD) , but the build fails after configuring.  Here's the full console output:
    aclocal.m4:14: error: this file was generated for autoconf 2.61.
    You have another version of autoconf. If you want to use that,
    you should regenerate the build system entirely.
    aclocal.m4:14: the top level

    I figure it's those 2 errors in the middle of make that are holding it up, but I don't have a clue how to fix it.
    thanks,

    If you know how to write a patch or feel like learning, put one together, file a bug report, and submit the patch with it. If you don't feel like writing a patch, just submit a bug report that says that app/ContolSocket.cpp needs "include <climits>" to build. Either way is good.

  • Seemingly successful install of Exchange 2013 SP1 turns into many errors in event logs after upgrade to CU7

    I have a new Exchange 2013 server with plans to migrate from my current Exchange 2007 Server.
    I installed Exchange 2013 SP1 and the only errors I saw in the event log seemed to be long standing known issues that did not indicate an actual problem (based on what I read online).
    I updated to CU7 and now lots of errors have appeared (although the old ones seem to have been fixed so I have that going for me).
    Currently the Exchange 2013 server is not in use and clients are still hitting the 2007 server.
    Issue 1)
    After each reboot I get a Kernel-EventTracing 2 error.  I cannot find anything on this on the internet so I have no idea what it is.
    Session "FastDocTracingSession" failed to start with the following error: 0xC0000035
    I did read other accounts of this error with a different name in the quotes but still can’t tell what this is or where it is coming from.
    Issue 2)
    I am still getting 5 MSExchange Common 106 errors even after reregistering all of the perf counters per this page:
    https://support.microsoft.com/kb/2870416?wa=wsignin1.0
    One of the perf counters fails to register using the script from the link above.

    But that one seems unrelated to the ones that still throw errors.
    Three of the remaining five errors are (the forum is removing my spacing between the error text so it looks like a wall of text - sorry):

    Issue 3)
    I appear to have some issues related to the healthmailboxes.
    I get MSExchangeTransport 1025 errors for multiple healthmailboxes.
    SMTP rejected a (P1) mail from 'HealthMailbox23b10b91745648819139ee691dc97eb6@<my domain>.local' with 'Client Proxy <my server>' connector and the user authenticated as 'HealthMailbox23b10b91745648819139ee691dc97eb6'. The Active Directory
    lookup for the sender address returned validation errors. Microsoft.Exchange.Data.ProviderError
    I reran setup /prepareAD to try and remedy this but I am still getting some.
    Issue 4)
    I am getting an MSExchange RBAC 74 error.
    (Process w3wp.exe, PID 984) Connection leak detected for key <my domain>.local/Admins/Administrator in Microsoft.Exchange.Configuration.Authorization.WSManBudgetManager class. Leaked Value 1.
    Issue 5)
    I am getting MSExchange Assistants 9042 warnings on both databases.
    Service MSExchangeMailboxAssistants. Probe Time Based Assistant for database Database02 (c83dbd91-7cc4-4412-912e-1b87ca6eb0ab) is exiting a work cycle. No mailboxes were successfully processed. 2 mailboxes were skipped due to errors. 0 mailboxes were
    skipped due to failure to open a store session. 0 mailboxes were retried. There are 0 mailboxes in this database remaining to be processed.
    Some research suggested this may be related to deleted mailboxes however I have never had any actual user mailboxes on this server.
    If they are healthmailboxes or arbitration mailboxes that might make sense but I am unsure of what to do on this.
    Issue 6)
    At boot I am getting an MSExchange ActiveSync warning 1033
    The setting SupportedIPMTypes in the Web.Config file was missing.
    Using default value of System.Collections.Generic.List`1[System.String].
    I don't know why but this forum is removing some of my spacing that would make parts of this easier to read.

    Hi Eric
    Yes I have uninstalled and reinstalled Exchange 2013 CU7 for the 3rd time.
    I realize you said one issue per forum thread but since I already started this thread with many issues I will at least post what I have discovered on them in case someone finds their way here from a web search.
    I have an existing Exchange 2007 server in the environment so I am unable to create email address policies that are defined by “recipient container”.
    If I try and do so I get “You can't specify the recipient container because legacy servers are detected.”
     So I cannot create a normal email address policy and restrict it to an OU without resorting to some fancy filtering.
    Instead what I have done is use PS to modify extensionAttribute1 (otherwise known as Custom Attribute 1 to exchange) for all of my users.
    I then applied an address policy to them and gave it the highest priority.
    Then I set a default email address policy for the entire organization.
    After reinstalling Exchange all of my system mailboxes were created with the internal domain name.
    So issue number 3 above has not come up.
    For issue number one above I have created a new thread:
    https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/office/en-US/7eb12b89-ae9b-46b2-bd34-e50cd52a4c15/microsoftwindowskerneleventtracing-error-2-happens-twice-at-boot-ex2013cu7?forum=exchangesvrdeploy
    For issue number four I have posted to this existing thread where there is so far no resolution:
    https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/exchange/en-US/2343730c-7303-4067-ae1a-b106cffc3583/exchange-error-id-74-connection-leak-detected-for-key?forum=exchangesvradmin
    Issue number Five I have managed to recreate and get rid of in more than one way.
    If I create a new database in ECP and set the database and log paths where I want, then this error will appear.
    If I create the database in the default location and then use EMS to move it and set the log path, then the error will not appear.
    The error will also appear (along with other errors) if I delete the health mailboxes and let them get recreated by restarting the server or the Health Manager service.
    If I then go and set the retention period for deleted mailboxes to 0 days and wait a little while, these will all go away.
    So my off hand guess is that these are caused by orphaned system mailboxes.
    For issue number six I have posted to this existing thread where there is so far no resolution:
    https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/exchange/en-US/dff62411-fad8-4d0c-9bdb-037374644845/event-1033-msexchangeactivesync-warning?forum=exchangesvrmobility
    So for the remainder of this thread we can try and tackle issue number two which is the perf counters.
    The exact same 5 perf counter were coming up and this had been true each time I have uninstalled and reinstalled Exchange 2013CU7.
    Actually to be more accurate a LOT of perf counter errors come up after the initial install, but reloading the perf counters using the script I posted above reduces it to the same five.
    Using all of your suggestions so far has not removed these 5 remaining errors either.  Since there is no discernible impact other than these errors at boot I am not seriously bothered by them but as will all event log errors, I would prefer
    to make them go away if possible.

  • I/O that doesn't kernel crash?

    Dear Forum,
    Can anyone recommend a good interface/output device that will not cause a kernal crash on an iMac?  I would like it to have a few inputs and outputs, and be able to run my powered monitors; capabilities resembling the M-Audio Fast Track Ultra, would be most appreciated.  http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/FastTrackUltra.html
    I have been using this device, but it causes my iMac to kernal crash.  That is a known problem with the FT Ultra, and one that their latest driver does not solve (although they thought they had resolved it).
    The two known work arounds are:
    1. Leave your FT Ultra on all the time
    2. If you do not want to do 1, then leave the USB cable unplugged from the Ultra until you want to use it.  If your computer is already on, open your music recording software program, then turn on Ultra, then plug in the USB cable.
    I've been using 2 successfully, for the most part, but today, even that caused a kernal crash.  Thus, any suggestions would be much appreciated.  Repeated and frequent crashes can't be good for the system, so I'd rather get something that works with Macs well.

    Pancenter,
    Thanks for your response, but I'm not quite sure how to interpret it.  M-Audio Tech Support recognizes, and so does Apple support, that the Fast Track Ultra does cause kernal crashes on iMacs.  The 2 work arounds are straight from the horses' mouthes of the M-Audio support folks, and there's several posts about the kernal crashes on the M-Audio forums page for the USB I/Os.    I also specifically asked the Apple folks if raising the levels on my screen savers and the sleep mode on the computer would help, and they said it should not matter, but to be on the safe side, to raise the timing levels on those.  I did not ask them about USB ports going to sleep, but it doesn't make sense that they do or how that would affect the kernal crash I had, because I had been operating the computer, and I use a wireless mouse that is plugged in via a USB, so the USBs should not have been asleep.
    I've had this computer since June, and the only times I've ever had kernal crashes are when I switch on the M-Audio, although the kernal crashes do not happen every time I turn on the M-Audio device.  That is similar to the experiences of those who have reported such on the M-Audio forums.  So, there does appear to be a link between the I/O and kernal crashes.
    Regards

    I have no idea what could be causing this. I can find one link to it on this forum: http://forums.sun.com/thread.jspa?messageID=9488983 . But the only answer to that query says it is the same as another bug which appears entirely different, not to mention being very old (while talking about an imminent fix), and being related to a different OS and (I think) a different version of sun studio (express vs. normal?).
    Any ideas? Could it be related to having gcc/g++ on the machine?

  • Help with Essbase 9 and the Java API

    Hi, I am trying to connect to Essbase from a Java desktop application and I am unable to do so. I need to know if I am in principle doing the right things and if I have the correct environment set up.
    We have a server with Essbase version 9.3.1. We normally use essbase via the Excel Addin, and I have already written Excel applications that utilise both the addin and the Essbase VB API. Now I need to connect to Essbase but from outside Excel and using the Java API. I have no idea what APS is nor does my Essbase Administrator.
    My application has the following code (adapted from a post in this forum) -
    public static void main(String[] args) {
    String s_userName = "user";
    String s_password = "password";
    String s_olapSvrName = "ustca111";
    String s_provider = "http://localhost:13080/aps/JAPI";
    try{
    IEssbase ess = IEssbase.Home.create(IEssbase.JAPI_VERSION);
    IEssDomain dom = ess.signOn(s_userName, s_password, false, null, s_provider);
    IEssOlapServer olapSvr = dom.getOlapServer(s_olapSvrName);
    olapSvr.connect();
    System.out.println("Connection to Analyic server '" + olapSvr.getName() + "' was successful.");
    olapSvr.disconnect();
    }catch(EssException exp){
    System.out.println(exp.getMessage());
    I am running my application on my computer, not on the Essbase server, and the username I am using is the same one I use (as a user of Essbase) via the Essbase Addin in Excel, not an admin login.
    When I run the app I get:
    "Cannot connect to Provider Server.Make sure the signon parameters are correct and the Provider Server is running."
    Please can you confirm:
    1) Do I need an admin login for my client application to connect to the Essbase server or can I use a normal read-access login, like the one I use in Excel?
    2) Is the provider always the same regardless of the computer, i.e. "http://localhost:13080/aps/JAPI"; How do I know what this has to be? Where do I get this information from?
    3) How can I make sure that the Server is running the necessary "Provider Server", is this just a service that will show on services.msc of the server? What should I ask the Essbase Administrator for him to tell me what I need?
    Thank you very much.
    Leo

    Tim, when I look in my computer's Essbase installation path I can only find the following jar files (from the ones you have listed).
    C:\Hyperion\AnalyticServices\JavaAPI\external\css\log4j-1.2.8.jar

    I do not have css-9_3_1.jar or interop-sdk.jar.
    In order to try the embedded mode, I added the three jars I have to the classpath, and have re-built and ran with "embedded" as the provider. This is what I got in my output screen:
    run:

    As you can see, this has worked (as I get the data I was looking for at the end), but when I had the url in the provider string, I just get the below, without the initial errors:
    run:

    Now that I can get both modes to work I intend to write a Windows application, place it in a shared drive, and allow multiple users to use it. Which mode should I use?
    By the way, I found the essbase.properties file in C:\Hyperion\AnalyticServices\JavaAPI\bin, but when I add it to my app and test it in embedded mode, I get even more errors, but it still gives me the result...output below:

  • Apple Mail Evokes "Phishing" Notice on Recipient's PC

    An email correspondent with whom I've exchanged lots of emails recently got a Windows warning that several of my emails may be phishing. In checking the email headers I couldn't see anything amiss, except one of the emails was sent via an alternate smtp address, specifically one my wife uses for her MobileMe account on her IPhone and laptop which is also synched to my IMac.
    Would the use of such an email address trigger Windows to a (false) phishing warning, or might there be a more likely explanation?

    If you send an email from one domain (e.g [email protected]), but use another smtp server (e.g smtp.otherdomain.com), then your emails will often be flagged as suspicious.

  • SQL error 17410 No more data to read from socket

    Hi, I may have reached some stability limit of my JDBC thin driver, DB version and
    the complexity of my use cases??
    DB= 9.0.1.0
    Jev/OC4J = 9.0.2
    So this includes the JDBC thin driver included that looks like version; 9.0.2.7.99
    It made no sense but changing a dynamic where clause being set onto a View over an Entity
    like; vo.setWhereClause("myid = "+theID+" and someFk ="+theFkId);
    To a dynamic where clause with bind params for efficiency:
    vo.setWhereClause("myid = :1 and someFk = :2");
    vo.setWhereClauseParam(0, theId);
    vo.setWhereClauseParam(1, theFkId);
    I checked that my bind variables are same data type as what's declared in the Entity.
    This intermitantly causes:
    JBO-26066, which is a wrapper over SQLException 17410 No more data from socket
    Deep into the stack trace are unmarshalUB1(MARengine.java) ...
    leading me to believe this isn't my code but a bug/stress issue with the driver.
    Any thoughts?
    curt

    Steve et al,
    I'd like to re-ask does it make sense what I've done?
    A standard VO over an Entity with no where clause.
    vo.setWhereClause ("myId = :1 and myTypeCd = :2");
    vo.setWhereClauseParam(0, "123")
    vo.setWhereClauseParam(1, new Integer("1"));
    If this makes sense and should work, then I'd like to debug why for me it throws this No more data to
    read from socket error..
    Nothing obvious turns up in the BugDB for this related to bind variables and JDBC based on what you've described so far. An unscientific test would be to download the latest 9.2 JDBC driver and try that to see if the problem persists.I downloaded the latest 9.2 -g debug drivers and got this interesting trace:

    what's the issue of no defined max length? That column is a Number(5) and the bind param is being
    set from an Integer.
    For the duplicate class issue, try searching the *.jpr file to see if somehow you have duplicate entries in there for the class it's complaining about. LOL, this is a good one. The first line in generated *Impl.java files is the package declaration.  If
    you bring up a java file and accidentally remove the first line, you'll get this odd error message.

  • Open View or Window in a external window (popup)

    Hi experts!
    I have the following issue:
    - I know how to open a external window from a given URL, but my problem is that I want this new external window to open and show one of my own windows and I don't know how to get the window's URL. Any Idea???
    Please help or redirect me to some doc or post. Thanks.

    Hi,
    If you want the url of the another window in your WD Component. As per my knowledge you need to have a seperate application to be created for this window also.
    For Example you have Window1 (View1 is embeded in this window) and Window2(View2 is embeded in this window). Now you need the url of the Window2.
    So for this purpose you need to create two applications for this WD Component.
    For example App1 (Created for Window1InterfaceView) and App2 (Created for Window2InterfaceView).
    Now use this below code to open the Window2 URL in a sepearate window.
    // Get name of deployable object this component belongs to
    String deployableObjectName =
    wdComponentAPI.getDeployableObjectPart().getDeployableObjectName();
    Map urlParameters = new HashMap();
    // If there are any application parameters you need to pass to App2 you can set those in urlParameters
    // as urlParameters.put("key","value");
    try {
    // Get deployable object part of target application.
    // Precondition: assume, that other application belongs to the same
    // Web Dynpro Project (Deployable Object)
    WDDeployableObjectPart deployableObjectPart =WDDeployableObject.getDeployableObjectPart(
    deployableObjectName,"App2",WDDeployableObjectPartType.APPLICATION);
    // Get target URL based on deployable object part and URL parameters
    String urlToTargetApp =WDURLGenerator.getApplicationURL(deployableObjectPart, urlParameters);
    //Open this urlToTargetApp in external window.
    IWDWindow window = wdComponentAPI.getWindowManager(.createNonModalExternalWindow(urlToTargetApp,"Window2");
    window.show();
    } catch (WDURLException e) {
    messageMgr.reportException(e.getLocalizedMessage(), false);
    } catch (WDDeploymentException ex) {
    messageMgr.reportException(ex.getLocalizedMessage(), false);
    Note:/Warning:  We are opening another window using another WebDynpro application.
    Here it creates a seperate WDComponent instacne. You can't access Window1(View1)'s existing context data in Window2(View2). The only way is you can pass some data using app/url parameters.
    Apart from this as per my knowledge there is no other way to get the url for a Window.

    Charan
