Fastweb fibra 100 regoalrmente testata e funzionante lentezza avvilente sui server Apple! Buonasera da più di un giorno inspiegabilmente ho 3 dispositivi su 4 Apple bloccati, perché impossibile aggiornare il software perché la lentezza per scaricare file è assurda! Per 2 gb mi da tempi di download di quasi 20ore cosa mai avvenuta prima. Sono un ottimo utilizzatore so dove mettere mano. Ho resettato tutto, anche se sapevo che trattatvasi di un collo di bottiglia indipendente dal mio hardware, ma la situazione Nn è cambiata! Ho provato su un altra linea FASTWEB stesso problema anche con altro Mac! Chiamato Apple che mi dice che dipende da FAST; chiamato due volte FAST e il problema rimane irrisolto! Che fare? Ripeto il problema si è presentato da due giorni chiedendo una riqualificazione della linea ( magari un problemino strano) ma mi è stato rifiutato! Speedtest sul resto del mondo perfetto! Su Apple si blocca tutto! Non posso più aggiornare nulla con una linea quasi inservibile! Che fare? Grazie. stessa cosa a qualcuno?

My ISP in Italy, it's Fastweb. Its DSL modem only permits to connect up to three computer via the 3 ethernet plugs (only 3 IP address). If I connect Time Capsule to one of those ethernet, which settings do I have to set, if possible, to share my internet connection with more than 3 computers?? thanks

Help needed to setup to Network Print Server

I am trying to configure the following to print from my Mac:
D-Link DP-301U USB print server
HP Color LaserJet 3500
MacBook Core Duo OS X 10.4.8
Very little information is available on both D-Link and HP website.
The D-Link installation guide says to install via AppleTalk.
AppleTalk has been activated on my AirPort as well as on the Web configuration of Print Server. However I cannot see any printer on adding a printer.
In the Add Printer Browser, I can see my print server on Bonjour. When selected, I am supposed to choose my HP printer, but it is no on the HP printer list.
Only Generic PostScript can be selected, however when printing, it prints our garbage.

A long time ago, I worked on a print spooler and was lent a JetDirect
box from HP to test with. A JetDirect card is in your LaserJet, I believe.
(One of the protocols it supported was localtalk, BTW). I think the
d-link isn't forwarding your localtalk packets. Anyway, one of the
things I remember is that the JetDirect spoke PCL, so that's another
consideration a driver has to deal with. The garbage you're seeing
is raw postscript. It needs to be rasterized and translated to PCL.
Please bear with me, my experience is very old, and there are gaps
in my knowledge. But I think this is do-able. I think the first step is
to add the printer directly by clicking here,
The location of the printer should be the address of the print server
(or canonical name if you're ever going to change addresses). The
device should be appsocket/jetdirect. The device uri should be
socket://nameoripaddressofdevice. The make should be HP and
the model/driver should be one of the Laserjet series, gimp-print.
I don't know which one, my experience ended around Laserjet 5, and
so do the drivers! But fundamentally they have to do the same thing.
They use the gimp-print package to rasterize the postscript and
encapsulate it into PCL. So I would bet the LaserJet 6 driver will work.
I'm sure everything posted here is correct, and that my experience
is too old and I don't know enough to know why this won't work,
but it's not a lot of effort, and if I were you I'd give it a try.

JCO.Server appends null character to string

I am a complete SAP and JCO newbie so I'll try making as much since as I can, given the fact that I'm not familiar with SAP terminology and technology. I've been lent as a developer to another group which needs a legacy application rewritten. The application processes a RFC and decrypts the RFC encrypted payload and returns it along with a status code.
I have made progress - I'm able to register my server with the SAP runtime and using the SAP GUI application and the help of a SAP developer, I'm able to make an RFC call to my application. I'm able to read the parameters sent from SAP and write parameters back.
The problem is that one of the parameters I'm writing back (java.lang.String) appears to have and extra character on SAP side. On the GUI it appears as a '#' (pound) sign. The SAP developer told me the string is terminated with a null character which I know is a C/C++ thing but not a Java thing. I don't think it is a Unicode issue. The Java server is not running in Unicode mode and any attempt to set the jco.server.unicode property (I may have forgotten the exact name) to a value of 1 causes the RFC to fail.
I think the issue is likely to be the manner in which I defined the function parameters or the manner in which I write them. The following are code snippets:

I seem to have made progress. If I define the parameter type as JCO.TYPE_CHAR instead of JCO.TYPE_STRING, it works:

That is the only change I made. I'm still setting the parameter value as java.lang.String. I hope this won't cause issues elsewhere. I was also able to change the field definition and set it as a byte array. However, that had the problem of having to define the exact length of the byte array in the field metadata otherwise the remaining bytes would appear as null bytes on SAP side.

Adobe QT32 Server ( ne réponds pas ) ?

J'ai déjà publier sur ce forum et ça toujours été utile pour moi.
Depuis deux jours, il m'a aussi permis de remédier à de gros soucis, je me permet donc de faire un point avec vous sur les problèmes que j'ai eu bien qu'ils soientt résolue mais en parti seulement... ;(
Je m'explique, je travaille depuis le début de la semaine sur un projet sous avec After Effect assez conséquent puisqu'il contient une centaine de calques. Et donc content de moi, mercredi soir, je lance AE pour effectuer les derniers détails et surtout lancer les exports finaux !
Et là, c'est le drame, AE ne veut plus ouvrir mon projet !
Après quelques recherches sur ce forum et sur le moniteur d'activité pour comprendre je m'aperçois que le processus Adobe QT32 Server semble prendre beaucoup de place dans les calculs lors de l'ouverture. Ni une, Ni deux, je le kill afin de pouvoir ouvrir mon projet. Bien entendu, le projet s'est ouvert mais impossible de faire la liaisons avec mes fichiers .mov...
Puisque ce processus semble remplir ce rôle, donc je continue mes recherches ( il est déja minuit à ce moment là ) et c'est la que je trouve ce type de topic :

Je comprends donc qu'il y a des conflits avec modules de quicktime, je decide donc de suivre la procedure et suprimme tout les modules en question ( divx, perian et DVCPROHDVideoOutput.component )
Ainsi que le module Colorisa_II_x64 qui m'empéchait d'ouvrir Adobe Media Encoder CS6...
J'ai aussi re-installé la suite complète CS6 dans le doute...
Il me reste donc comme module Quicktime les suivant :
Et comme magie, AE CS6 ouvre correctement mon projet, ce qui m'a permis d'exporter mon projet sous forme de séquance TIFF mais impossible sous le fomat Quicktime - Apple ProRes 422 ???
Voici l'erreur qu'il me fournie :
J'ai donc réglé le problème d'une autre manière, c'est à dire utiliser une autre machine pour faire mon export .mov ! pour rappel, il est 02h00 du mat' a ce moment là, j'ai donc plus le courage de chercher.
J'ai donc pu livrer mon film à temps, mais comme je suis pas du genre à me laisser faire, après une nuit courte, je continue mes recherches pour comprendre...
Et makgré cela, je reste sans réponse à l'heure actuel...
C'est là que vous allez pouvoir m'aider, enfin je l'espère :
Voici les symptomes que je rencontre :
- Export Quicktime soumis à une forte probabilité d'erreur ( bizarrement plus sur des exports de film de 6 minutes que sur des export de 2 minutes )
- Importation de séquence tiff vraiment longue et propise à un plantage de AE
- et Enfin un processus Adobe QT32 Server qui est toujours en " ne réponds pas "
De même sous Adobe Media Encoder :
Ce qui est vraiment bizarre ce que malgré cela, j'ai pu effectuer des export TIFF sous AE et même des encodages VIMEO et YOUTUBE sous Média Encoder ????
Alors dans l'absolue, tout semble fonctionner mais tout reste vraiment instable dans l'ensemble et lent...
Donc voici m'a question après avoir raconté ma vie :
Est ce quelqu'un aurez un avis ? une solution ? ou rencontre le même probleme ?
D'avance merci d'avoir lu mon post et prendre un peu de temps pour que l'on puisse ensemble trouver la solution.

Agradezco a las personas que nos puedan ayudar con este inconveniente que se está presentando con un cliente en el cual para el momento de ingresar a SAP la aplicación se demora en cargas más de 10 minutos, después de esto el funcionamiento dentro de la aplicación es normal pero queremos confirmar si tienen conocimiento de algo que haga que el proceso al iniciar la aplicación SAP se haga lenta.

I can honestly say my £100 playbook can connect to wifi and i can surf away with no activations etc etc
My Brand new out of the box today ipad mini is unable to do diddle as it is unable to connect to the activation server, oh yes thats a £450 ipad against a £100 playbook. Why am I unable to activate within 14 days for instance so at least I can be up and running
My iphone 4 that has been lent to me for my wife to use for a few weeks before we move networks and swap to iphone 5 has been updating now for 3 hours.......so she is having to wait for another day
So in short my apple experience so far has quite frankly been a LEMON

Estoy realizando una aplicación en la que necesito comunicar eficientemente un PLC S7-200 cpu 224. Para esto estoy utilizando el NI OPC server con el driver para la interfaz PPI y conecto labview (versión 8.6) al OPC mediante I/O y libreria de variables compartidas. el problema que tengo es que el intentar leer y/o escriber en una variable desde el VI esto se realiza de una manera muy lenta tardando de hasta 10 segundos en actualizar un valor e incluse a veces se desengancha el servidor del programa y se detiene la ejecución. Sin embargo si intento forzar la variable desde el system distruted manager si logro que las variables se actualize a la velocidad deseada. la escritura de la variable se raliza asignando un contro a la variable compartida desde un whilw loop. Les agradezco su ayuda para solucionar este problema, muchas gracias.

Je travaille actuellement sur une application sous DSC 8.5, ou j'utilise un IO server de type Periodic Change pour communiquer avec un module electronique d'acquisition de donnees fait par nos soins. Les shared variables utilisees fonctionnent tres bien, mais j'ai neanmoins un probleme de lecture tres lente des shared Variable au niveau du clinet laBVIEW qui communioque avec l'IO server. En effet, j'ai besoin de lire a u moment donne 48 shared Variables, et pour cela j'ai essaye d'utiliser les VI DataSocket, mais il faut environ 4 secondes pour lire les 48 variables, ce qui n'est pas satisfaisant pour mon application. La seule possibilite que j'ai est de creer 48 shared Variable et les lire mais j'aimerai savoir d'ou vient cette inertie de lecture avec le module Datasocket. J'ajoute que mon application est une mise a jour d'une application realisee sous Labview DSC 7.1, ou l'utisation des VI read Tag fonctionnait tres bien.

Double message sounds like your popstate.dat file has got corrupted.
The popstate.dat file keeps a record of everything has been downloaded.
If you delete that file and run thunderbird, it will create a new popstate,dat file; it will not delete messages, but it will redownload everything from server, but only the once.
Then remove duplicates.
You can do this manually or use an addon tool.

Then when all is downloaded, remove the duplicates.
This should stop future duplicates.

Quand je démarre Firefox déja c'est lent , et ensuite mes pages et mes onglets se chargent très lentement ( le rond au niveau de l'onglet tourne longtemps souvent en gris) Cela arrive avec n'importe quel site ou page , cela le fait aussi pour afficher les images google taille réelle. Parfois les pages ne chargent même pas et il y a le message : délai d'attente dépassé , même en rafraîchissant ça peut me le refaire 2 ou 3 fois de suite.

ITouch and Exchange Server

I tried configuring my iTouch to communicate with my company exchange server. I entered the webmail address for exchange for incoming along with my userid and password but it does not seem to be able to connect.
Any ideas?

An Apple Engineer lent me her brand new iTouch while she was here setting up an Apple trial on our Windows network. While I love the iTouch, it's very clear to me that linking up to an Exchange 2003 server is NOT as easy as Apple would have you believe. I have spent a great deal of the last two days browsing newsgroups, reading Apple manuals, going Google searches and there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING showing:
1. What is SPECIFICALLY required on an Exchange 2003 server...and the steps to set that up.
2. Any explanations as to why the iTouch will not connect to the Exchange server once the ports are opened, and synchronization is allowed (by default).
FROM WHAT I **CAN** gather. It appears as if the "Enterprise" (we are a small K-8 school) needs a front AND back-end Exchange server running Web Outlook. Well, heck, folks, if I had THAT I wouldn't need to synchronize the iTouch with exchange...just connect via the web browser...AND...have access to ALL my folders, contacts, Notes, etc., etc.
So...here's how you fix the mail connection problem with Exchange.
Get your IT department to set up Web Outlook (that means buying TWO, count 'em, 2 Exchange servers...one front-end and one back end). At that point there is no need to configure ANYTHING on the iTouch.
BTW, Google mail works PERFECTLY (can't even get Hotmail or LiveMail or whatever the heck Microsoft is calling it now to work)...does THAT TELL YOU ANYTHING ABOUT WHO IS REALLY GOING TO "RULE" TECHNOLOGY???

and i cannot use the remote ip for these reports that come from other machine

for each report i have to create a database the report database on my machine and then open the report ?
or there is some other way to open the report ?

How can I at-a-glance review a server's SHA-256 fingerprint in Thunderbird?

All my IMAP sessions are created via SSL/TLS tunnels to the respective servers.
Thunderbird dutifully highlights that the connection is encrypted with the small grey padlock icon in the folder pane. This is helpful.
However, I would like to check the SHA-256 finderprint of the server's certificate on a regular basis, at a glance. Is there a way I can easily do this in Thunderbird?

If I understand correctly, you want to load data from multiple sheets in an .xlsx file into a SQL Server table.
If in this scenario, please refer to the following tips:
The Foreach Loop container should be configured as shown below:
Enumerator: Foreach ADO.NET Schema Rowset Enumerator
Connection String: The OLE DB Connection String for the excel file.
Schema: Tables.
In the Variable Mapping, map the variable to Sheet_Name, and change the Index from 0 to 2.
The connection string for Excel Connection Manager is the original one, we needn’t make any change.
Change Table Name or View name to the variable Sheet_Name.
