Greetings anyone. Thx in advance for the help.
My issue is that I'm getting errors running the steps "Task 7A-24: Running Alter Audit" from the Ptools 8.50 installation guide.(plan to isntall FSCM 9.1 next). The error is as follows and I get it for every statement executed during the build process...;
SQL Build process began on 6/22/2010 at 12:01:40 PM for database PSOFT.
Error: EOCM_TER0000101 - Unable to retrieve current DDL space name. Alter processed failed. (76,47)
Error: Fatal error in function BldAlter on call to function GetOldRecDefn. Return code = 1. (76,6)
I'm pretty sure I've followed all the installation steps correctly. The only remedy step I found helpful from Oracle Support is to make sure my PSDBOWNER is upprcase. I did change that, to no avail. There were some VIEWs discrepencies when I ran DDDaudit(none for sysadudit. But that's because AUC_SCR_CHT_VW would always hang when replacing views. Any direction would be much appreciated.

Passed the above error by changing object owner from ACCESSID to dbo. Now on the same task "Generating the Updated PeopleTools Scripts", there are 516 errors, sample error messages:

FATAL ERROR in native method: JNI call made with exception pending
Hi everyone,
I am trying to resolve this error exhaustively for the last 3 days.
I have a 3rd Party DLL library which i am supposed to use from my Java Application. I compiled my own DLL that links(calls methods) the Java code and the the 3rd party DLLs.
It works fine in my machine and 2 of my other colleagues but does work for the QA tester. The JVM crashes when it comes to the point of loading the DLL with the exception mentioned above.
For the QA tester, a version of the DLL made in VC7.1 works fine, but the one we are trying to load was made in VC80.
It also has the dependency dll like msvcr80.dll and msvcp80.dll
We both have Windows XP and same the JVM (1.4)
Please Help !!!!!!!

ZuberI would suggest further investigation of dependencies. If the QA machine doesn't have VC 8 check what the diffs are there.

Fatal error: LABVIEW.LIB was not called from a labview process
I have built a very simple executable which uses shared variables which should talk to an OPC server. When I try to run it on the target machine, I get this error. Does anyone know what it means?
If you up/down graded from 8.2 to 8.5 then I would suggest doing a mass compile on the VI's into a new folder (or have a backup of your files somewhere).
You can do this via LabVIEW > Tools > Advanced > Mass Compile.
Please let me know how this turns out.

I am getting this error when trying to add data to QUEUE. But after I restart my app, this error does not happen anymore.

Were there any error messages sent to the error log file? Can you confirm that you have verbose error messages turned on by always initializing one of the error callback interfaces in your environment. This will provide verbose error messages:
DB_ENV->set_errcall, DB_ENV->set_errfile, DB_ENV->set_errpfx, and DB_ENV->set_verbose.
What flags are you using when opening the environment and the database?

I have followed all these instructions, installed what was specified (including all versions needed).
First problem I encountered was there were no oci8 title in phpinfo.php,
Second was when I compiled the oci8test.php it brings this error,
Fatal error: Call to undefined function ocilogon() in C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\htdocs\ocisample.php on line 3
As I said, I have followed exactly what was specified in the instructions, yet the error is persistent.
Actions taken:
restarted apache
checked folder locations
checked php.ini-recommended
checked httpd.conf
everything is where they need to be.

JamilYou haven't mentioned having 9i installed locally. This way it should work well but in some cases ORACLE_HOME dependencies could not be resolved. If you need precise information what file to put where try the filemon utility.

Even I am facing the same problem. I have done all the above mentioned settings. I have set the php.ini file with the extension dirt to "php/ext" and also uncommented the extension=phpoci8.dll . we r using PHP5.2.0, Apache 2.2 and Oracle 10g and installed both the XE and the Client edition of oRACLE 10G on windows XP.

Getting Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect() error.
ok, so before I had my mysql_connect php script and it ran fine, no errors, but once I changed my php.ini file to give ERROR_REPORTING E_ALL I now get Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect(). I am just wondering how I can fix this?
I followed the arch linux LAMP wiki and I can't figure out why I am getting this error after turnning on error_reporting.

Only if you change the port from the default 3306. But even then, a different error message will output, in this case the mysql modules have not loaded for some reason.
There is a syntax error in your php.ini file, at line 510. Comment out this line as it's a line giving information rather than an option. Then uncomment the error_reporting option.
So this:
Default Value: E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE

; Production Value: E_ALL & ~E_DEPRECATED

Should be changed to this:

Error while transforming XSLT by calling function with Reflection API

I'm new to Reflection API. I want to call function from the jar file which is not in my application context. So I have loaded that jar ( say XXX.jar) file at runtime with URLClassLoader and call the function say [ *myTransform(Document document)* ]. Problem is that when I want to transform any XSLT file in that function it throws exception 'Could not compile stylesheet'. All required classes are in XXX.jar.
If I call 'myTransform' function directly without reflection API then it transformation successfully completed.

How to display "Non-Fatal Run-Time Error In Function Panel" dialog?
I'm learning how to develop an IVI-C specific driver using LabWindows/CVI. When I run my function from its function panel and it returns an error, I would like to display a dialog with both the error code and error message (as opposed to simply returning an error code on the function panel). This would save the user from having to call Prefix_error_message() to translate the error code to its error message. NI-DCPower driver is a good example of this behavior (see attached error dialog). How do I show the "Non-Fatal Run-Time Error In Function Panel" dialog? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thank you for replying to my post. The checkErr is just an error handling macro defined in ivi.h to goto Error: tag when the function returns a non-zero value. I have been using the checkErr macro (as well as viCheckErr and other macros) in my driver.
Using the same hp34401a specific driver as an example, please allow me to explain my question in more details:
Let's take the hp34401a_close function as an example. It is a simple function with only a few lines of code:
When the hp34401a_close function is run from its front panel using an invalid session handle (e.g. "8" in this screen capture):
You will get three "Non-Fatal Run-Time Error" popup dialogs, one from each of the IVI library functions that it calls: Ivi_LockSession, Ivi_UnlockSession, and Ivi_Dispose. However, there is no "Non-Fatal Run-Time Error" popup dialog from the hp34401a_close itself.
My IVI-C specific driver is behaving identical to the hp34401a specific driver.
In comparison, if run niDCPower_close function from its front panel using an invalid session handle (using the same "8" in this screen capture):
You will only get one "Non-Fatal Run-Time Error In Function Panel" from the niDCPower_close function itself:
I think the behavior of niDCPower driver is much better than the hp34401a driver. It replaces the three "Non-Fatal Run-Time Error" popup dialogs from the IVI library with a single "Non-Fatal Run-Time Error In Function Panel" popup dialog from the driver function itself. I would like to do the same thing with my driver but have not figured out how to display a "Non-Fatal Run-Time Error In Function Panel" dialog. Thanks in advance for your help! -

In fact any of the functions used in the 'while loop' in the above example give a similar error.
Apparently SYS.DBMS_LDAP_API_FFI is a call to an external C program, but this would be a standard Oracle one, not one I have written.
I am connecting to a non-Oracle ldap server, and have tried several (OpenLDAP 2.X, & Windows 2000 AD), with same results.
Any suggestions gratefully received.

KIMFixed by running the catldap.sql script (ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/catldap.sql) as SYS user and recreated the dbms_ldap packages. I am not sure why some of the functions worked OK and others did not.
